Autonomy Backup Client - issue with full backup but incrementa​ls okay

We run Autonomy to back-up our Laptops across the enterprise .
I notice on one laptop here that the account within Autonomy Admin shows taht "Last known good full backup = Not applicable", but when you go into client history you can see that the incremental backups have been happening okay.
Should I be conerned? Is this backup file corrupt? If so, how please can I fix with minimal impact to the user.

For this unless this is a HP software product you need to contact the Software manufacture that you use for your backup for support on their software...

    What is the make & model of your home Wi-Fi router that you are attempting to connect your G5 iMac to? Which exact model of iMac do you have?
    What wireless security type is your router using: WEP, WPA, or WPA2? If you temporarily disable wireless security, can the iMac connect to it now?

    Yes, I could connect them by ethernet if all I wanted to do was transfer files, but I would like to network them so I could use wireless internet.  The machines are not always so close together, I did that to simplify the testing.  With the very slow transfer speeds I am reluctant to move ahead with the internet step.

    If you purchased a Sprint iPhone, you DID NOT purchase an unlocked iPhone. All Sprint iPhones are carrier locked to Sprint, & Sprint will only authorize the unlocking of the sim slot for current customers using the phone on their network. If you are not a current customer, using that phone on Sprint's network, you wasted your money, as Sprint will not authorize the unlocking of the sim slot.
    So, it the above is the case with you, yes, return the phone for a refund, if you still can.

  • OS X LION Issues with Full-Screen; iPhoto, Image Capture & Mail

    Hello,
    I'm experiencing un-Apple-like issues (bugs) with Lion in Full-Screen mode.
    For example - iPhoto doesn't seem to like Full-Screen mode. If iPhoto is open and I connect a camera, for which I prefer Image Capture to retrieve my pics... Image Capture opens 'behind' the full-screen iPhoto, but I can't get to it. Image Capture shows as open on the menu bar in iPhoto's full-screen mode. If I go to the desktop (where it should be opening) Image Capture isn't 'on top' and clicking it takes me back to iPhoto full-screen
    Similarly, if I get mail and return to the desktop (the only way to see the dock) and I click on the 'Mail' app icon - I am catapulted into Image Capture... or iPhoto. Returning to the Desktop to click the Mail icon from the dock... takes me to Image Capture... or iPhoto. The 3rd try takes me to the Mail.app which is usually always open and in full-screen mode.
    While I'm complaining about bugs, I'd like to mention that I am fully dismayed by the loss of control in full-screen mode when using apps such as Mail or iPhoto. The Mail app opens an email to edit (such as a reply) but you can't access any other mail docs to 'cut and paste' info from. I can only click SEND or CANCEL.
    What if I don't want to CANCEL? I just want to go to another email and cut a piece to paste.. I have to exit full-screen mode which allows me to open two email documents at once, then cut and paste. Essentially Mail in Full-Screen is only a reader... not a work area. I can only access the document I have open, since it greys out the Message Viewer. You can't click on the message viewer nor access any of the features of Mail.app. You can only write your email and either Cancel or Send. Where is the 'hold on a second while I go cut and paste'? I don't want to cancel.
    Can't seem to use Safari since I'm constantly three-finger swiping it away. My cursor hovers over a text field and suddenly it's zooming in and locks text input. I have to iPhone-like swipe to expand to exit this inadvertent partial (very slight) zoom. Sometimes the zoom is so partial that I can't figure out what's going on until I just exit full-screen mode, close the window and start over.
    Seems like I'm starting over and over and over... just to do simple things. Inadvertent zooming, inadvertent 3-finger returning to Desktop, inadvertent changing apps... ugh.
    I'm willing to let go of the old and embrace the new future but so far it's been pretty uncomfortable for me to constantly monitor my overly sensitive trackpad gesturing combined with constant bugs and glitches. I'll save complaining about iPhoto's over-simplification (apparently for dummies) like the new Edit menu, Export menu, etc.. since it's more iLife than Lion related. Rate Lion: 2 out of 5 stars for ease of use & features complicated by unrefined software issues.

  • Cisco Agent Desktop / Supervisor Desktop Issue with Full Disk Encryption

    Has anyone had any issues related to running Cisco Agent Desktop or Cisco Supervisor Desktop on a machine running full disk encryption?  Our desktop team installed full disk encryption software from Check Point, and it seams to be causing some issues with call monitoring, screen pops via workflow and connectivity to the UCCX server.  It's not effecting every machine (that we know of), but the fix for us right now is to provide a desktop without the encryption software.  I'm just wondering if this is related to us, or if there is any supporting documentation out there? 
    Any help is apprecicated.

    CAD for IPCCX v4 does not support windows 7. See compatibility matrix:

    In my experience if you already have CAD installed and you upgrade the OS (without a fresh rebuild) CAD will work - but it is NOT supported. You should test this though.
    You will not be able to install the older version of CAD on windows 7, the installer will give you errors.

  • Issue with Full Screen & Input languages (Mavericks 10.9.1)

    I have two issues with the latest (Version 8.0.24308) Microsoft Remote Desktop from the Mac App store:
    1. If I tick the connection entry "Start session in fullscreen" option, after connect the desktop slips upwards like on the screenshot (below on the link)
    2. The default input method switches to Latvian after connect (never used Latvian anywhere...).
    On my Mac:
    - System language: Hungarian
    - Input language: Hungarian
    On the server:
    - System language: English
    - Input language: Hungarian (default) + English
    +: the app doesn't supports Retina display resolution :(

    Important information for users of 10.9: if you have disabled "Displays have separate Spaces" in Mavericks
    (System Preferences > Mission Control) go to Preferences > Resolution in the Microsoft Remote Desktop client and configure the setting using the same option.
    Please try the OS X native mode and see how it works.
    2. The OS keyboard locale, is suggested to the remote PC. Therefore, please check the keyboard locale.

  • Build 711 client issues with XGL?

    Are there any known issues with installing the latest build of the 1.2
    beta client (711) on the released version of SLED if XGL is enabled?
    After installing the client and restarting, I got a message that my
    display couldn't initialize (or something like that, it's the standard
    error when X doesn't start) and it asked if I want to look at the X server
    log. I said no, did the --disable-xgl, and now X came up ok. I then
    reenabled XGL using the desktop effects, and 3D is working again even
    after a restart.
    Just wondering if the install of the client temporarily breaks XGL & X
    necessitating disabling and reenabling XGL.

    I hadn't changed my runlevel at all. Simply installed the Novell Client
    and rebooted. I could see I was in runlevel 5, but with no GUI since X
    couldn't start. Ran the XGL disable thing, typed startx, and now the GUI
    came up. Within there use desktop effects to reenable 3D effects (all
    still in runlevel 5 and having never switched to any alternate terminal
    screen), log off, and now it was working. Might have just been an
    isolated incident.

    I am having some issues with my wi fi at home. I just bought the phone a few days ago and it worked fine for about a day. I can connect to my router with no issues but it wont connect to the internet. Its saying it has full signal from my router and that its connected but i'm unable to connect to anything internet related. My Xbox works fine with the router and so does my G/fs Htc Desire so its not problem with my modem or router. Ive deleted data and restored a couple times as well as disabled the power saving mode in Wi fi settings. It is hooked up using a WEP key with mixed 802.11n, 802.11g, 802.11b. I've changed the wireless channel 1- 11. Hoping to get some feedback so i dont have to send it away.

  • AnyConnect SSL Client issue with Mac OS X

    Hello this seems to be a very common issue with AnyConnect working on Mac OS X. A lot of random sites talk about this.
    I have a Cisco 2801 running IOS 12.4(22)T (ADV ENT SRV) with AnyConnect 2.3 package installed.
    From Windows I can connect without any issues.
    From a Mac OS X after providing login credentials the AnyConnect log says its connecting... checking for updates... and then disconnects.
    If this does work on Mac OS X what is needed (or needs to be configured) to get this to work properly on Mac OS X?

    I recently experienced the same problem when my company upgraded to our entire company from the stone age to a VPN system using the Cisco AnyConnect. At first, I had the same problem as described above. Then my IT guy and I got on the phone with Cisco.
    Here is the solution that worked for me. First, our IT department had to specifically load a MAC connection file into the VPN firewall to allow access for MacIntosh computers. Then I redownloaded the latest anyconnect files and updated whatever else through the vpn.yourcompany.com site. Finally, from www.citrix.com/download I downloaded (on the RH side under featured downloads) the appropriate Citrix ICA File.
    Everything works fine now. I don't know if this will work for you, but it did the trick for us.

    706101556, catalog ID: 5.
    Here is an example of how we create FTS catalog and add table to it (As you can see it's created with auto change tracking together with

  • Lion Ichat client issues with logging into SL Ichat server

    We run the iChat server on our OD master running 10.6.8. We have about 250 users and it's working great for everyone on Leopard or SL (the majority of our users).
    We just started upgrading people to Lion, as well as getting some new lion machines.  The people who are on Lion Pre-Configured machines seem ok, but the people who we upgrade are having issues with logging into it.  Sometimes it will work just fine, and other times they just can't log in.  They get the ~ symbol by their status and can't connect to the server. 
    The only fix seems to be trashing their prefs AND rebooting, just trashing them or just rebooting don't seem to be enough to fix this. Anyone seen or have a better fix for this? It has happened more than once for the same user.
