PCP: budget split for employees on multiple positions

Dear experts,
I have a question concerning the use of the Personnel Cost Planning and Simulation module (PA-CP) to determine budgets for Org. Units containing employees that are on multiple positions.
When running the Personnel Cost Plans for the Org. Units that contain such employees, the Cost Items associated to the employee are u201Csplitu201D between the positions, according to the percentages of the relationships S-P. However, the client desires that the Cost Item for the employee is completely assigned to his main position (the one displayed in infotype 0001). Is it possible to do so in this module?
In the u201Coldu201D PCP module (PA-CM-CP), there was a parameter switch in table T77S0 (group PCOST, field MULTP) that controlled whether or not multiple assignments were taken into account in Cost Planning. However, this switch does not work with the new module, and I havenu2019t found a corresponding switch for it.
Is there a corresponding switch for the u201Cnewu201D module? If not, how could we implement this requirement?

Hi,
I am not sure if the below solution would work for the charts also but you can give a try to it. The below solution works well
to restrict the no. of rows in blocks.
Create a variable as:
v Test = Floor(Rowindex()/20)
so as to return integers when RowIndex() returns multiple of 20's.
Now, follow the following steps:
1. create block with Employee, Sales.
2. Create Section on Store and Sub-Section on the variable v Test created above.
3. Check results. If you get the required results then turn the block into chart.

  • Multiple Positions for One Employee (OrgChart Campaign)

    I am trying to determine if the OrgChart campaign offering will meet the needs of my client.  They have an interesting setup where they assign one employee to multiple positions (example:  50% to one position, 50% to another position, etc).  I want to confirm that the OrgChart campaign offering will pick this up and reflect each position and its holder even if the holder is represented in another org unit attached to another position.  I assume this is possible since it uses the O-S-P relationship search but since we have trouble with some of the standard SAP reports returning only one position I just wanted to check.

    Before I start you may wish to use TVN OrgChart 2.1 which was recently released on Service Marketplace as it contains all the functionality of the Accelerated Campaign offering with a bit more functionality and some bug fixes from TVN2.0.
    OrgChart's standard functionality in this area is to show a node (box) for each position. Where two or more people sit in the same position it shows a node for each of these employees.
    In your scenario where a person sits in two positions within different orgunits, OrgChart will represent this as two nodes - one in each orgunit.

  • Headcount report when multiple position for an employee at particular time

    Hi
    I have to develop a headcount report which will show the employee count by each personal area. Now i can simply bring in headcount data from the R/3 by standard source system. My problem is that one employee can have multiple position at a time. In standard routine every record is assigned headcount by 1. Now problem is that there are multiple records for an employee as multiple position are assigned at the same time which will lead to wrong headcount.

    Hi Kamal,
    Can you write your report off of 0EMPLOYEE or did you change the key to include position?  Just include employee group and employment status to determine who your active employees are.

    Hi,
    You can assign multiple position to single employee, based on the Employment Percentage in IT001, you can assign multiple position.
    This concept is especially called Concurrent Employment. Assigning of multiple position, in Concurrent Employment, SAP has developed in such a way that, it will synchronize your Work schedule and show it one screen and payroll will calculate the amount from various assignment.
    I have posted the Wiki about the Concurrent Employment in the Wiki section. If you want go through that, you will get little idea.

  • Budget Report to show the fixed and variable split for Materials

    Hello Gurus,
    Could you tell me if there is a budget standards report that will show the fixed and variable split for Materials? Example: Labor, Equip., QC and Overheads? 
    I need it for the correctly rolled-up 'final material number' step.  The report that does this now (without fixed and var split) is the Indented BOM Comparison (sret - cost mgmt-product costing - cost mgmt-customized reports - cost estimate comparison - costed multilevel compare rpt - Indented BOM Comparison).

    one simple way is in your final itab declare a slno type i field
    data : begin of itab occurs 0,
    slno type i,
    <other fields>
    end of itab.
    after filling the data in itab.
    loop at itab.
    itab-slno = sy-tabix.
    modify itab.
    endloop.
    in fieldcatalog also you have to define that slno field as the first column.
    but it will change its order if you are sorting the output or filtering the output.

  • Transfer one position from One Org unit to another -For multiple positions

    Hello All,
    I want to know is there any easy way to transfer one position form one org unit to diff org units? I <b>dont want to delete the position</b>, infact I want to transfer the same position (the position Id will remain same) to another org unit.
    I need to do multiple positions, hence pls suggest an easy way to do so.
    I know it can be done thorugh<b> PPOM -by drag & drop option ,</b> but the transfer record does not get stored in IT 0000 (actions) for the respective pers no.
    Hence, I want to easy wat, where we can do it for many positions , aslo the record gets stored in IT 0000. I tired with PA40, transfer action....
    but still more easiest way?

    Yes you can definitely do this
    Create the new position and assign the CP to this position in transaction PPOME. You may find the position first there in PPOME, and then drag-drop the CP over the position to make the assignment. System will ask the percentage of responsibility.......which you will ve to enter...

    'BBPSC11' error in Monitor SC for one User - having multiple positions in org structure - but having one BP code associated to all positions.
    We have one BP ID associated to multiple positions of the same user - in multiple org structure.
    The org unit is refered as one Project and like wise we have multiple projects people worked on.
    Once the Proj is over we move the Users from one Proj (Org unit) to another Proj, with new Position created copying the old and associate old BP code to it.
    With this when we go for Monitor SC option - enter User ID in Created By field - old SC are listed but we are getting error if we click on the Detail icon.
    Error:The Internet Transaction Server could not start the transaction "BBPSC11" because of the following error: Attribute for user contains errors. Inform systemadmin. .

    Pl. verify the user with txn-bbp_attr_check. It could be that the org. relationship of the user changed with what was captured on shopping cart. Also use txn-users_gen to repair the user.

    In case of Higher Duties, we have a scenario where a user can have multiple positions with access to the business roles of both the positions.
    The design is to have one business role assigned to one position so that the user can have all the access he requires.
    In case of higher duties, we see an exception.
    Has anyone implemented such a scenario?

    Is it possible to assign more than one position to an employee in HCM?
    If so, there is many ways of dealing with that from IDM side, I don't know precisely your business requirement, what you need to maintain and what should be dynamic, but i can suggest you to :
    1. Translate every position you receive from HR to a Business role and assign as many Business roles you want to the same user.
    From HCM you will receive :
    Employee :
    - Z_POSITION_ID1 :1
    - Z_POSITION_ID2 : 2
    In IDM
    Employee
    - Member of BR1
    - Member of BR2
    2. If you have a lot of attributes related to HR position on user (link user-position) to maintain , then create a custom Object in IDM (entrytype Z_POSITION).
    You wil be able to manage relations much easier than a simple relation (One-to-one attribute)

  • WT reporter does not show split for tax authorities!

    Dear all:
        I need to report for all employees some WTs of taxes, but wt reporter does not show the splits for them (to distinguish federal from statal authorities payments), it is like summarises all the same WTs... I tried payroll recon. report but this one does not output the data in ALV format (im in 4.6 version) so it is not useful to run in bulk
    Do you have any work around for this?

    1. Allocated costs are always treated as Fixed costs, unless you have booked the expenses in FI using Activity Type as Aux Account assignment object
    2. Check whether these costs are included in Inventory valuation in your Cost Comp Str in OKTZ... If not relevant for inv valuation, these costs wont show up for Variance calculations

  • Delivery Split for PO

    I want to split delivery creation for 'NL' type of delivery for STPO i.e. 'UB' type.
    i.e. if a PO has 2 materials with different material types ( e.g FERT & HAWA ), then 2 different deliveries have to be created in this case automatically.
    How can the same be achieved.

    If you want a permanent Solution on this you will have to take the help of a Routine.
    If you want to manually force a delivery split for each line item in the Purchase Order, then give a different value in the "Unloading Point" field for each item.
    Unloading Point field is there at Item level in the Shipping Tab in PO.
    There are positives and negatives of this approach.
    Positive being that since Unloading Points are different for each line item in PO, there will be a seperate delivery for each line item.
    Negative is that since the Unloading Field value is defaulted from the PO into the delivery at header (Goto>Header>shipment) you will have a seperate Invoice for each delivery as the Unloading points are different for each delivery. You will not be able to have a consolidated Invoice.

    in the CRM documentation on help.sap.com (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm50/helpdata/en/da/7d808043d244cf806dcf0d6e69381e/frameset.htm) it is mentioned that one can maintain service arrangements for employees. These service arrangements contain - for example - service areas and qualifications of the employee (ressource).
    I know where to maintain the customizing values, however, I didn't find out where to maintain the service arrangements for the employees.
    Any idea?

    for this you need to go to trnasaction PPOMA_CRM - Maintain Organizational Model
    and in this you need to open your organization model and there you need to assign employees.
    for this you need to select the post and right click on that and there is assign filed is there. after selecting that there is two position holder and owner.
    so you select holder for the position. then you can assign the employee to that service area.

  • Signatures at multiple positions in the PDF

    Signatures at multiple positions in the PDF. This is mainly a Verification & Validation document,
    where signatures will be applied for each Test case present in the document(4 to 5 signatures in a single page).
    We have observed that applying a signature for one place involves lots of steps and saving of file each time.
    This leads to lot of effort when we have to perform 500+ signatures for a single document.
    So do we have any mechanism to get the pre-stored signature with a single button?
    Note:
    We are using Acrobat 11(Adobe Reader 11)
    Steps that we are using for getting a signature are:-
    Precondition:(Steps involved in creating Signature)
    Steps involved in placing the signature:(It will be performed each time a signature is placed)
    Click on Place the Signature button
    Identify the location for the signature
    Enter the password
    Click on OK
    Save the file

    From the steps that you described it looks to me that you are using digital signatures. As TSN already noted digital signatures apply to the whole document, not to individual parts of it (like specific pages). The signature appearance exists just as a visual aid to make it obvious for the reader of the document that it is signed. It does not matter on which page a signature appearance is placed.
    You can automate the process of signing the document with multiple signatures with JavaScript if you know ahead of time which signing credentials you want to use for each signature, where to place it and with which name to save. To do that you need to be familiar with the JavaScript programming and Acrobat JavaScript API (it is part of the Acrobat SDK which you can download from adobe.com). You can also Google "Acrobat JavaScript API" for more info on specifics.

  • R12 Check Printing for Suppliers Created for Employee Payments

    We have some suppliers that are created to to pay employees.
    Problem we are finding is:The address printed on Check (i.e. Payee address) is coming from HRMS, and not from Payables.
    E.g. Say Address set at employee level is London Address, and the address for the supplier site created for the same employee is Washington address, then the address printed on check is London Address.
    We want to print Washington address.
    Our requirement is that we may have multiple sites created for different purposes, for the same employee-supplier; and would like to print the address from Supplier site on the cheque.
    Has anyone faced this problem before?
    Any help / inputs in this regard would be appreciated!
    PS: We are on R12 RUP3.

    Thanks for your reply.
    While creating the Supplier for Employee type, we are not checking either of the checkbox for 'Home' or 'Office'.
    I.e. We are creating a supplier site as 'Business advances' which is neither Home nor Office.
    At Financial Options Level, we tried keeping it as 'Home' or 'Office', but still the effect is same. i.e. it is printing the Employee Address only, and not the address for the supplier site .
    Also, I could not found the flag for Payment address - Home or office (neither at employee - maintain enter, Nor at supplier level).
    I also re-checked that the Address on Supplier Site level is still Washington Address, not the London address.

    Hi,
    I am facing a peculiar warning message while running the payroll posting run for only 2 employees.  The warning message s as follows:
    "Acc.assignment object replaced by current master cost center for employee
    Message no. 3G399"
    Prior to this, there were an error saying the
    "Account assignment objects are incorrect. No substitution is possible.
    Message no. 3G209"
    Later we found that the Position was not assigned to that employee properly.  I later assigned the correct position.. but still during the posting run the warning message appears.
    Please let me know if this is okay or is this an error which restricts the postings.

    Your postings will go through with the first warning message. However, please be warned that any account assignment related entries (IT 0027, 2001, 2002) will be wholly ignored.
    Check if any entries have been made to different cost centers for the erroring employees. If so, check for the reason why those entries have been made (since it is evident that the configuration does not support such entries). You may need to tie in with a CO consultant to ensure that there are no loose ends.
