PDF software for Blackberry?????

Does Adobe have a software compatible for Blackberry to be able to read PDF files??

Hi there!
Worded that way, that would likely be a question for Adobe...
But, there are some apps available for BB's to read PDF's. Here's a short list:
Attachment Service -- as long as a PDF remains as an attachment to an email, the native BB Attachment Service can read and display the file to you.
Once it is no longer an attachment, there is nothing native on BB's to do so. The add-ons I've heard of are:
The Premium Version of the To-Go apps -- find them on the DataViz website (or, if you already have the standard bundled version installed, it has a link to take you to their upgrade page) .
BeamReader -- I think that's what it is called
Google -- I'm sure if you google you google with some good search terms, you can come up with more.
Good luck!

  • Latest software for blackberry 9300

hello.. can you tell me please how can i download the new software for blackberry 9300?
    thanks

If I recall correctly, the most recently released OS for the 9300 is 6.0.0.576.
See the link below for the download, and follow these simple installation instructions.
    http://www.avea.com.tr/Blackberry/Release6_0/OS/9300M_PBr6.0.0_rel2554_PL6.6.0.216_A6.0.0.576.exe
Do a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > Backup. Close Desktop Manager upon completion.
    1. Download the OS file to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double clicking) the file you downloaded.
    2. Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    3. Plug in BB and double click on "Loader.exe." It's located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

  • Why has Adobe not created a .pdf reader for Blackberry?

It would seem to be advantageous for Adobe to write an Adobe Reader specifically for blackberry, in that it is one of the most-used mobiles out there.
Why other OSes and not for Blackberry?

Well, Les, I appreciate the suggestion, but it is brand new and has the latest operating system.
The problem is most noticeable to folks like me who often use JPEG-based .pdf files. As you know, before you zoom in, you have the prettiest little miniature image on your screen you ever saw, but it is not readable. When you zoom in to where the type (or music) becomes readable, there are artifacts that make it almost illegible -- certainly not easy to read in any case.
Plus, there are .pdf files I've received in my short time of use that would not open, and I've heard many others complain of the same thing.
Lastly, because I would like to open my .pdf files from a third-party app, I would prefer a reader that works in tune with all apps, not just email.
Thanks for the input, though. :)

  • DEsk Top Software for BlackBerry Storm Calendar/Tasks

First, isn't is rediculus what a user has to go through to access a customer forum?
I am looking for whatever software I need to input appointments from my computer into the BB calendar and/or tasks. Any suggestions?

You've tried a registry cleaner as well? If so, I would contact your carrier for further assistance. If they are unable to help you themselves, they should be able to forward you on to BlackBerry support for further assistance.

  • Look for *.wmv software for BlackBerry 8900

I was looking for wmv file able to use on blackberry 8900 because I got from email that have send *.wmv file into media player but it didnt works because this blackberry medai player only accept to  *.3GP file. Do you know what the name of software that can download into blackberry for *.wmv file.

No. Scroll down into the body of the KB...while the 8900 is indeed neglected in the KB heading, it is listed in the body of the KB and with WMV support. Hence, my theory is that the WMV you are receiving is outside of the acceptable parameters for playback on your BB via the native media player. It would need to be transcoded into an acceptable format in order to playback reliably. You can use RIM's desktop software with Media Manager to do that -- other solutions also exist. But, the native file you are receiving appears, from the data you've presented, to be outside of the acceptable range of playback parameters for your BB.

  • Business Software for Blackberry 8330

I want to store and read Word, Excel, and PDF files on my Blackberry memory card (2G). Preferably these files can be uploaded from my desktop computer and saved from email attachments.
Crackberry.com offers two programs that seem to do this, eOffice and Master Doc.
Any feedback on these programs or others to accomplish my goal will be appreciated.
    Thanks - JamieBG

With your 8330 upgraded to OS 4.5, you will get DocumentsToGo (WordToGo and SlidesToGo) for free, and then you can update the initially installed application to include SheetsToGo for free. All can be read and opened from your Media Card.
For PDFs on the Media Card, you will need either BeamReader or Repligo. Both have beta PDF on-device applications.

  • Can I get a QQ software for Blackberry Z10

I get two Blackberry mobiles , one Blackberry 9900 , one Blackberry Z10 ! I am Chinese living in London , The QQ , just like face book it is really important and necessary for European or Anerican etc. There is an increasing number of Chinese people use Blackberry , it means people need it when they use it or after buy !If the soft ware is not already they won't buy it after the people checked information about APPs online, and RIM will lose a big part of prospective customer .So I am waitting for the Chinese APPs not only for QQ , we need others also like : wechat , renren , 58 , QQreader , FM radio , QQlive , baidu ,Qzone, etc. Thank you very much !

You will have to contact the support developer at QQ to ask them to see if they are going to make a app. Also all those other app you mention you will have to send a email to each one to let them know their is a user-base on blackberry wanting their app.

  • Looking for PDF Software

I couldn't find an appropriate category for this question. I'm looking for PDF software for my Mac. Adobe Acrobat Writer is ridiculously expensive so I'm wondering if anyone else uses another PDF writer. Also wondering how old a version of Adobe Writer will run on my 2006 Intel MacBook.

A basic work around, with a few possible issues, may be to use the
Print option to 'save as pdf' so using another application and see if
this works (outside of saving a web page or other content) with a
word processing application, such as Text Edit.
There may be a way to use an older Adobe Acrobat (for OS X) in
the later version on Intel hardware, since it may be able to work
in Rosetta environment; this will consume more system resources
if it does work there. The ideal minimum system requirements are
on the retail packaging for Adobe Acrobat related products; so the
manufacturer's web page or some other information source may be
able to shed more light on these details in obsolete software.
Of course, since the Intel Mac can't run Classic/9 that limits useful
yet out of date other versions of older Acrobat or Adobe products.
There should be a support forum for Adobe acrobat and other apps
directly linked to their site online.
There may be some freeware or shareware capable of making .pdfs
from other documents, not sure how advanced they'd be. For a time
I had a few freeware utilities for working with .pdf items, to combine
and compress; and break them smaller so I could email them, some
years ago when attachments had to be smaller than in gmail.
In a google search window, you could find and screen some possible
options; I noticed (without entering mac or osx) I get some options in
a list possible pre-search topics when just entering ' make pdf ' in a
new google search box; other choices appear below my entry...
By adding the suffix ' mac os x ' to my search terms, I get proof of
concept (been using it for years) of making a pdf document from
a text editor or word processor document, by using Print options:
"How to create adobe acrobat PDF documents"
    http://clc.its.psu.edu/Labs/Mac/help/software/howtocreatepdfs.aspx
There may be a freeware utility among the download links at
VersionTracker or macupdate pages; among their other items.
Also, in Apple Support there are third party software D/L links.
In shareware applications for handling pdf content, there are
editors which allow one to edit or use pdf documents that are
blank or need words added, and correct or fill them out; or
to change content on documents you have authorization for.
This usually costs. A few may provide a limited use demo.
An example of a shareware editor tool (not free) is this one:
PDF Editor Tool - PDF Studio - edit pdf on Linux, Mac, Windows:

Is there a Blackberry Desktop Software for MAC OS 10.4.11?  Or something equivalent?
