PDO and SDO COB ids

Hi all,
I have developed a code using PDO and SDO create ,i have used the basic ID of SDO like 0x585 and 0x605 and PDO{0x205,0x185,0x305,0x285} ....i want to know whether the the COB ids relating to PDO get displayed or only the data on the bus monitor.I dont have hardware for testing right now.But when i connect PDO read i get 8 bytes of data with the help of cluster function.
If the COB-ID comes on the bus then its ok ,if it doesent then wat i have to do?????

You should read the help file which comes with the driver. It describes how to use the PDO and SDO functions. Normaly there are defined identifier for specific PDOs and SDOs., thus you only add the node id from your device to calculate the COB ID. If you need to use a non standard COB ID you can enter this ID with the configuration cluster control.

Finding enabled locales/dimensions and their respective ids for a site

Hi,
I am trying to find all the locales/dimensions which are enabled for a particular site, and their respective ids.
I have tried using this code:
webResource = webResource.path("/userlocales");
               Builder builder = webResource.accept(MediaType.APPLICATION_XML);
               UserLocalesBean enabledAssets = (UserLocalesBean) builder.get(UserLocalesBean.class);
               List<UserLocale> userLocList=enabledAssets.getUserLocales();
But this gives a list of all the locales in the entire system and not per site basis.
Currently I am accessing the DIMENSION table directly to find out the enabled dimensions and their respective ids, but this is just a temporary solution.
Can anyone pointout how to use the API to find the enabled locales and their respective ids for a particular site ?

Sites uses jsp for its templates to render a page. Basically an element is a jsp that contains logic using jsp tag libraries and/or java scriplets. Please do take a look at the documentation that is available on the oracle website: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E29495_01/index.htm
The documentation that might be useful to you is the developers guide. Also look at the Developers tool guide that shows you how to setup your developer environment.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
It you delete the account, you don't delete the data on the account. So if you log back in, everything will sync back again.
If you are asking if the data will stay on the phone, you have the option to keep it or remove it. You might be better turning each service off one by one here, before actually deleting the account.

Must master repository and work reposiotry ids be unique?

the master repository id is 001, work repository id 32, but there is a table( in the model) in work repository with id 25001, and all it's columns id are xxx001.
I want to know if there is any potential of object id conflict. If we recreate the table, It takes a lot of time to recreate the package/interface etc to refer to that table.
Does the object id of master repository and work repository has to be unique?

Hi,
As the architectural pattern, its mandatory to HAVE master and work repository IDs should be unique.
Rather than that, you no need to worry about the model/table/column IDs, because ODI will generate sequence of numbers, suffix with your work repository ID <sequence number>32, for each and every objects created in ODI.

Apple TV, iTunes match and multiple apple IDs

My husband and I recently got Apple TV and also converted from MobileMe to iCloud. We each have our own unique Apple IDs that we each use to purchase from iTunes. We also set up a shared Apple ID to create Home Sharing so that we could access our music libraries in Apple TV (so three separate, unique Apple IDs). And we each signed up for iTunes Match, but on our individual Apple IDs (not the shared Apple ID). Now I'm trying to turn on iTunes Match in Apple TV and am running into an issue. It seems that since Apple TV is set up with the shared Apple ID (so that we can access things via Home Sharing and also charge purchases on Apple TV to the joint account), we may not be able to turn on iTunes Match in Apple TV because that shared Apple ID hasn't turned on iTunes Match.
My question is: should we spend an additional $25 to turn on iTunes Match on the shared Apple ID and will doing so prevent us from accessing iTunes Match on one of our individual IDs on our laptop (which is how I personally acces iTunes and sync all my devices - iPhone, iPad, etc. - my husband does his syncing on his work computer) - due to the 90 day error message? I'm trying to figure out the best, most practical approach for accessing all of our music and other iTunes downloaded content as well as photos, etc. and I'm struggling a bit here. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

Have you tried the simple signout and try to sign back in with the other username and password? You may need to reduce the number of device sharing on the account you wish to access , I believe there are limits look at apple.com

Using a single computer and many apple ids/devices

i have a house full of apple users and we all use one computer
we all have our own apple ids and we are looking to use the computer for backup and general organization

Using airplay with multiple devices and different apple IDs

I have Apple TV, iPod touch and iPad utilizing 2 different apple IDs. I can't seem to get airplay working on both devices. Help appreciated

iWeb is an application you can use to create webpages with.
Formerly it was part of iLife. But it is discontinued.
It doesn't work with airplay.
And since this forum is about iWeb, chances are very slim you will get an answer in this forum.

We are using only context structural authorizations (P_ORGINCON) with these switches:
ADAYS 15 HR: tolerance time for authorization check
APPRO 0 HR: Test procedures
DFCON 4 HR: Default Position (Context)
INCON 1 HR: Master Data (Context)
NNCON 0 HR:Customer-Specific Authorization Check (Context)
NNNNN 0 HR: Customer-specific authorization check
ORGIN 0 HR: Master data
ORGPD 4 HR: Structural authorization check
ORGXX 0 HR: Master data - Extended check
PERNR 1 HR: Master data - Personnel number check
XXCON 0 HR: Master Data - Enhanced Check (Context)
Everything works fine except for personnel IDs not linked to OM.
If we use PA40 to assigne an "unrelated object" (personnel IDs) to the OM structure, the
action works correctly.
We are not able to assign a unrelated personnel IDs to OM using PPOM.
Even if we have assigned the value 4 to both DFCON and ORGPD, we have to create a large
structural autorization with maintain flag active (the same as ALL in OOSP) and assign it to
the user in order to see the button "unrelated object" in PPOM.
In other words: it seems that unrelated personnel IDs need structural authorizations in order
to be assigned in OM.
Any idea ?
Is this a bug ?

There are many ways of doing this depends which one you like....
1. Create a custom Function Module which will perform end to end extraction of desired Objects. There is no need to pass on some inputs for evaluation path. Just while creating structural, keep everything blank except for the last column to put your custom FM. This is a technique to control Structural using FM only.
2. In a structural use two lines...one might be with standard FM, other one should pick specific objects which you don't want user to have access. Ensure to check exclude beside that line. The Intention is to remove undesired objects from populating in OOSB.
3. Implement a BADI which will be executed after RHBAUS* programs are run, whose objective should be to identify these CIDs and remove them from T77UU table or INDX or from OOSB.
Please do not confuse P_ORGINCON with structural authorization. The integration of PA and structural authorization is to provide different level of access to set of objects pulled by structural auth.
There can be plenty other ways to do it.....HR Security is a playground where multiple games can be played at a time

Creator and SDO

Hi,
What is the Creator's take on the Service Data Object(SDO) specification proposed by IBM and BEA in the JSR-235 Expert Group, and is now part of the JCP?
Is this a technology that will be relavant and important to Creator developers, in the future? Or is the JDBC RowSet technology sufficient for complex data handling needs?
Would appreciate thoughts.

We are closely watching (indeed, Sun participates in) JSR-235 on it's expert group. It is possible that SDO is something which would be relevant to this market. Simplified component-based access to services is something Creator currently does, although it is limited in the initial release to DB access and simple web services. Moving forward, we have plans to broaden service access, and if SDO is the right match in terms of both technology and our developers, we certainly will consider it's use (assuming the JSR is final, of course :-)

Oracle 9i and SDO

I am trying to find out if Oracle SDO is supplied/supported with Oracle9i Enterprise Edition for Linux. A colleague believed that it wasn't included, but I find this hard to believe. Does anyone know the answer, or better still do you know a web page which identifies the supported components?

I couldn't find the answer to this question either, until I installed it! Yes, the mdsys package (formerly SDO) is included in both the 8.1.7 and 9i Linux releases. The installer installed the package by default on 9i (I didn't install 8.1.7).

HTML + JQuery (CSOM) to add multiple item to a Sharepoint list and get their IDs

Hi everyone.
I try to use HTML + JQuery in CEWP to build some sort of analog of InfoPath's repeating table in order to be able to insert multiple items in a Sharepoint list using CSOM.
The current task is to get the IDs of inserted items (in order to use those IDs later to add attachments to the list items) as soon as they are added to the list. I've tried several ways but couldn't get the IDs of all inserted items. Usually
I get "-1" as an ID for every item except the last one, which returns me the correct ID.

How do I merge libraries from old and new apple Ids

Several years ago, my ISP required that I change my email address. My iTunes library ended up some being purchased under the old @adelphia.net address and part under the new @comcast.net address. In trying to play certain songs from the library, it says that the computer is not authorized on the @adelphia.net user ID and won't play the song. I no longer recall the old account password and that email no longer exists to get a message to reset it. How can I merge the libraries all to the new apple I'd?

You can't. You will have to purchase your other tracks under your present Apple ID.

JSF and SDO

I read a lot of stuff on JSF and it seems that it needs backing beans to work with which are quite simple beans. Is it possible to use service data objects and datagraphs directly instead of these beans? Or should there be beans as well which are a proxy to the seivice data objects?

Separate work and personal Apple IDs...how to share music

I have my own Apple Id for my home computer and personal iPhone. At work, they've assigned me a new one for my work MacBook Air and iPhone--they reside on my employer's equipment, but I use the work phone all the time.
I'd like to put my music, from my personal MacBook and Apple/iTunes ID, on my work phone, which has the second Apple ID, which I can't change.
Any easy way to do this?

Your devices are automatically registered for Find My iPhone using the iCloud ID that they are using. If you want to track your spouse's device(s), you will have to go to icloud.com and sign in with her iCloud ID in order to do so (or sign in with her ID using the Find My iPhone app on your device).
