Pegoda reader or card problem

Hi I am using Eclipse 32. with JCOP plugin and philips pegoda reader.
Still now I was using JCOPV4 cards all thing working fine, but I have got JCOPV3 cards and in that I am frequently getting error on /card that
Communication problems: T=CL communication error: T=CL: Transmission error. Failed to halt PICCI dont understand what is problem with JCOP3 cards. I have to keep /card to get it done, I am sending you some stack so you may have idea what is the problem - (Inconsistency). Please let me know if anyone have any clue for this.

It's probably more a hardware problem on the reader side. The Pegoda is not an actual product, it's more a prototype that has never really matured all that much. For example, the Pegoda is known to produce weak fields. This could explain why you run into problems when crypto is used during authentication, which causes more current to be drawn by the chip. For serious contact-less applications, I'd suggest switching to a different reader manufacturer. I would recommend SCM's SDI010.

I am using SynchRead so that the file can be read when a user clicks on a command button.
Is it true that with SynchRead you cannot use wild cards to specify files for reading? (e.g *.txt)
If so, is there a work around so that the file is only read on command?

Problem Connecting Philips Pegoda Reader

Hi,
This is in reference to my earlier post, listed below.
I figured out that the tclpcd32.dll is present in the MifareWnd Application Installation directory, so I added this location in the environment Path Variable.
After this when I restarted eclipse, I get the following message box:
"javaw.exe - Entry Point Not Found.
The procedure entry point _PcdTransTmrGetCurrent@4 could not be located in the dynamic link library MfGeneric.dll"
Please guide. What should I do to get this reader running smoothly with JCOP 3.1.1b.

I have just installed JCOP Tools v3.1.1b on Eclipse v3.1.1.
I have a Philips Pegoda Reader MF RD 700. And a JCOP Engineering Sample Card JCOP v2.2 41.
My problem is that when I try to select the Philips Pegoda Reader on "Connect" button of JCOP Shell, I get a message box which says -
"javaw.exe - Unable to locate Component"... ..."tclpcd32.dll was not found..."
Where can I find tclpcd32.dll ?? What does this dll do?? Do I need to add something to Eclipse Classpath??
I am new to JavaCard development.
Please help !!

If you are both on the T-mobile network, the sim card should work. If you did a Erase All Content and Settings, then she should be at the point of activation as a new device...talk to T-mobile and be sure the sim she is using is a valid sim card.

MacBook Pro 15" video card problems (i think)

Can anyone tell me if this is indeed a video card problem?

Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
OS X Lion 10.7.5
This is what happened:
I use my mbp heavily because I edit a lot of videos with Premiere. I also use lightroom / photoshop alot + games. I also installed Parallels desktop late 2013. I don't know if that is relevant but anyway. Everything started late 2013 (a little after installing parallels actually) when there are moments when the audio wouldn't work and I couldn't adjust the volume. It would come back anyway so i didn't mind it. Then the fans were on high speed for little activity. After that the keyboard backlight couldn't be adjusted and wouldnt work. I ignored all of these cuz i wasn't troubling me at the time. In January i left for france to study - I use bike all the time and once stupidly placed my laptop on the basket going to school (rough roads). I had a class with html so I had to open Parallels, my teacher pointed out the fans and how loud they were. That day, parallels desktop said i must upgrade to windows 9 or it will restart every 2hours. I didn't of course. I didn't have time to.
After that (a few days later i think) my laptop would randomly turn into a black screen but it's still on (the power LED is on) I tried turning it off by pressing down the power button and then turning it back on. It worked the first time. During the first week, the frequency of it happening grew. It would do it almost 3 times a day. during that same week I tried to do an SMC reset. It fixed the keyboard light, fans and audio but not the black screen thing. It just keeps on happening around 1-3 times a day. It only happens when I'm using it btw, never when I just leave it. ALSO, after a few days, it would take longer hours to open my mbp again. I mean, the screen would turn black. i would turn it off, then on again. I will ONLY hear the hard drive moving but no startup sound and no grey screen and apple logo. nothing.
The following weeks after that, I asked a friend to help me out. He suggested that I install gfxCardStatus because he said it might be my video card. He instructed that I keep it on intergrated only. So I installed that and did what he said I thought it worked for a while because the black screens stopped happening (even when gfx keeps on going back to dynamic) BUT NOW, MY LAPTOP WOULD FREEZE (not turn black). I'd shut it down using the power button but it still takes me hours to open it again. Sometimes, I'd wait for the battery to drain because it would startup when i charge it (sometimes)
I tried doing AHT as well to confirm the video card problem, but the results are no problems found. I really don't want to replace my logicboard here in france. everything is more expensive here. ;__;
Today I uninstalled parallels to see if that might have had anything to do with my problem now but i think that's just wishful thinking.
Can somebody tell me if this is really about the video card? Thank you

press power on button, and on displey see message MEGA and nothing not work...

MicroSD Card problem

When I put my microsd card my HP does not seem to recognize it. I tried inserting the microsd card into my family's desktop computer (a lenovo running an AMD processor) and it read the card and opened it automatically. Is there a specific driver update that I need to get for microsd cards?

Credit Card problem

Hi,
Due to to the Adobe securety problem, I requested a new credit card from my card provider and updated the payment details 24th of October.
The card was debited by Adobe the 25th, but still, I get a warning when I start a CC app stating that there is a problem with the payment and CC will stop wotking in 13 days. Adobe has recieved my money so please fix this asap.

After many,many, many hours of trying I was finally not refused when trying to connect to your payment server (as a first time buyer). So I was asked for my credit card details for the purchase of an application - which I stated. But when I tried to confirm the purchase, my VISA card was refused twice due to "Credit card error". As I know there is nothing wrong with my credit card, please tell me what to do in order to purchase applications from the ovi store. I don't want to pay many times over for an application which I never downloaded from OviStore. But I anyhow also tried my AmEx-card for the purchase of another app, but same "Credit-card" problem. In lightroom 5 I have been importing images via a card reader. Now you can see the images on the computer but when I try to import it says that it cannot read the card any ideas how to solve?

What does this mean: "Now all of a sudden I can see the images on the screen"? Are you looking in Lightroom or your operating system or the camera screen? Where?

HT200255 Why won't my macbook read SD cards since I updated to 10.7.5 today?

I updated my MBP to 10.7.5 today and now it won't read sd cards. It does not pop up on the desktop and will not show up when I try to import photos on iPhoto. Please help

If you are charging with your computer switch to the wall charger. It can supply twice the current.
But the real problem is something on your phone that is using power faster than the charger can replenish it. You need to find what it is and fix it. If you have an MS Exchange email account that is the likely cause. Go into Settings for it and turn off all of the switches, reboot your iPhone and see if the problem is solved. If it is, turn the switches back on.
If that is not the problem go to Settings/General/Background Apps Refresh and turn it off. Then reboot the phone again. If this solves the problem turn it back on, and turn off individual apps until you find the offender

I/O device error when reading SD card of 16GB

HP Pavilion a400n on Windows XP operating system gives I.O error when reading SD card of 16GB. On Windows website I chose a hotfix for the problem (unknowing it was for VISTA), restarted the computer and had the same error. I went back to Windows update site and found hotfix for XP users. Installation said that newer version is already installed. I don't know what to do next! Help please.

Most computer people have programs that can recover/repair those sticks and I would not try to do it myself if you want the pictures but if you are a risk taker you could try to run a check disk on the card. I should be showing up as a device when you open up the computer icon. Right click on the SD card, click on properties, click on tools and then check the disk.

T430s Smart Card reader cannot read some cards

Hi all,
I have a T430s with a smart card reader.
Turns out that some cards (including, as it happens, one of my personal cards) the reader can't read. It either does not respond at all, or gives an "unknown card" identification. The very same card, on the very same laptop, using an Athena USB reader, works flawlessly.
I'd say it's a reader malfunction BUT some other cards are read perfectly by my built-in reader... Why would the reader refuse to read certain cards?
Any ideas? Anyone seen something like this?

If the driver for the media card reader doesn't work,
I found your computer in the personal system reference and saw you actually have no Smartcard reader. But you do have the 4-1 media card reader. Which is specific to all machine types of the T430s.
With a little more investigating I found out that
You have a Ricoh Multi Card Reader on the computer. This reader is able to read SDHC cards, but to get it to work fully you have to update the driver.
Here is the link to the driver. Which this driver supports XP, Vista, and Windows 7.

Unable to read SIM card after latest update

I downloaded the most recent android update on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 on 12/10. Since that update, i've gotten the message "Unable to read the SIM card. Please restart your phone to read the card" a half-dozen times. The timing between the messages is sparatic (one time it was a few hours between messages, another time a full day, then 12 hours the third time, etc...).
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Is there a simple fix to this (such as just getting a new SIM card from Verizon)? I'd like to think that the update wasn't the culprit of this, but I've had my Note 4 since the initial release, and it's only started happening since the last update.

I'm having the same "Unable to read the SIM card" issue. My phone is less than two months old, the unable to read SIM card issue started about a week after I purchased the phone. That was followed by a host of erratic, sporadic issues to the phone becomes unusable and the only way to temporarily fix it is to remove the battery for a few seconds. I've gone through the factory reset with Verizon reps where I purchased the phone from as well as with a Verizon online Chat representative. In a nutshell, I got a ticket to send the phone back to Samsung in Plano, Texas to get the phone fixed, I am going to do that today because this problem is ridiculous.

i have written one java card applet with the help of eclipse plugin of JCOP,but i don't have philips pegoda reader to test my applet.
is there any other way of testing applet without use of reader?
or any other reader is available?

You should use the JCOP (or some other) JavaCard simulator. You may also use any PCSC compliant reader.
