Performance issue on WLS Plugins
I also have some performance issue on wls plugins. tried to load test to
weblogic directly with 1000 concurrent connection, it's fine on Weblogic
server. when try to use SunOne Web Server 6.0 + wls plugins, it becomes slow
through web server, if configure wls plugins with Weblogic Cluster , even
worse, very slow response. look like this plugins can not support so much of
load . it's a bottleneck.

Wed Mar 20 22:04:59 2013 <5072513638098992299> request [****] did NOT process successfully..................We were able to avoid the PROTOCOL_ERROR by turning off the connection pooling in obj.conf (KeepAliveEnabled="false"). We're using Weblogic 8.1.5 and testing on 8.1.6, where the error still seems to exist. This issue is only occuring with IE 6 & 7 with pooled connections. FireFox doesn't seem to have any issues with the pooled connections at all. This is not an optimal workaround for us when we go to production because of the likely performance implications turning off the pooling will have.
I can't see anything in the request headers coming from the two different browsers that looks conspicuous...they're almost identical. Is there any kind of user agent specific processing going on in the plugin that could be causing something like this? -
Performance issues with Imac intel 2011 27 inch..
I have an 2011 imac 3,4 GHz Intel Core i7 with 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 RAM.
Since a few months i noticed performance issues with FCPX, where before it would run through video it shows sometimes the color ball. Now the computer is slow in starting up and shutting down also. Ran disk utility but to no avail. I am now considering reinstalling mavericks.
But I ran etrecheck.
here are the results, please who can help me? I use this computer to edit and about everything else.

Performance Issues with Photoshop CS6 64-Bit
Hello -
Issue at hand: over the course of the last few weeks, I have noticed significant issues with performance since the last update to PS CS6 via the Adobe Application Manager, ranging from unexpected shut downs to bringing my workstation to a crawl (literally, my cursor seems to crawl across my displays). I'm curious as to if anyone else is experiencing these issues, or if there is a solution I have not yet tried. Here is a list of actions that result in these performance issues - there are likely more that I have either not experienced due to my frustration, or have not documented as occuring multiple times:
Opening files - results in hanging process, takes 3-10 seconds to resolve
Pasting from clipboard - results in hanging process, takes 3-10 seconds to resolve
Saving files - takes 3-10 seconds to open the dialog, another 3-10 seconds to return to normal window (saving a compressed PNG)
Eyedropper tool - will either crash Photoshop to desktop, or take 5-15 seconds to load
Attempting to navigate any menu - will either crash Photoshop to desktop, or take 5-15 seconds to load
Attempts I've taken to resolve this matter, which have failed:
Uninstalled all fonts that I have added since the last update (this was a pain in the ***, thank you Windows explorer for being glitchy)
Uninstall application and reinstall application
Use 32-bit edition
Changing process priority to Above Normal
Confirm process affinity to all available CPU cores
Change configuration of Photoshop performance options
61% of memory is available to Photoshop to use (8969 MB)
History states: 20; Cache levels: 6; Cache tile size: 1024K
Scratch disks: active on production SSD, ~10GB space available

MacBook Pro performance issues w/2nd monitor and FCP7
I have this MacBook Pro bought brand-new in January 2010:
Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro5,2
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 3.06 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 6 MB
Memory: 8 GB
Bus Speed: 1.07 GHz
and until today had never attached a second monitor to it. Today I hooked up my Samsung 24" to do some dual screen editing in Final Cut 7.0.3. I was unable to play back my video at full speed in the second monitor, and after a few seconds of skippy playback I'd get that error message about unable to play back video at full speed and to check my RT settings. I was using a Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter. My computer has no issues playing the video in the laptop's monitor at any resolution and any quality settings (I've never changed the RT settings or anything else in the menu ever but I tried every combination this time). I then tried using my TV as a 2nd monitor with an HDMI adapter. Same performance issues. I then tried my friend's newer 13" MBP 8,1 and it performed flawlessly with the same project & footage. I feel like my $3,000 computer should outperform a $1,200 one even if mine is a year and a half older. Any advice?
ChrisWow, you posted this perfectly to coincide with an identical problem, albeit using Logic Pro 9.1.5 rather than FCP.
Last week, I purchased a 23" external monitor to use alongside my "flagship" 2011 15" hi-res, 2.3 i7 Macbook Pro with 8Gb of RAM.
It is connected via a mini-DVI to D-sub analog (not that that should matter?) and all appeared fine.
The first issue I had was with my MBP's fan now running CONSTANTLY, when I have the second monitor attached. Even when the machine is completely idle.
When using the machine to record audio, this is a fairly hefty problem and not something I had anticipated - indeed why would I anticipate such a thing?
What is far, far worse though is that over the last few days I have had repeated problems with performance drop-outs and errors in Logic and I have trying to fathom out why. Realising that the only major system change made, was the above monitor connection, I ran some tests.
I restarted my MBP, no other apps were running and with my new 23" monitor attached acting as main display with MBP built in display on as secondary
I loaded up a fairly demanding Logic project which was hitting 40% to 60% CPU usage when using the built in MBP display last week
I ran activity monitor and had CPU usage history open
The above project now repeatedly overloads and playback halts in a given 8 bar section - with CPU at 80% most of the time
I disconnected the external display, no shut down, I just let the machine switch to the built in 15".
Started the same project, the same 8 bar section and hey presto - CPU usage back down to 40% to 60%
The above was reflected in the CPU usage history with the graph showing CPU use down by about a half, when running this Logic project WITHOUT the external display.
There is a very useful benchmark Logic project that has been used as a test by many users to gauge Logic performance on given Apple hardware.
The project has about 100 tracks pre-configured with CPU intensive plugins, designed to tax the CPU.
The idea is that you load up the project with tracks muted, press play and then unmute the tracks steadily until Logic us unable to play contiunously because of a system performance error.
On my MBP, with the external monitor NOT attached, I can play back around 50 of the audio tracks in this benchmark project.
With the monitor attached, I can get about 22 tracks playing.... which is actually a far worse a performance drop (-50% I think!?) than with the first example!
I did also try with just the external monitor attached and not the MBP display and performance was about 10% better than with dual monitors - so still extremely poor, to say the least.
This machine is the flagship MBP and has a dedicated AMD Radeon HD6750 GPU which should take care of most if not ALL graphics processing - I mean it's capable of running some pretty demanding games!
Putting aside the issue of constant fan noise, there is no reason AT ALL, why using an external monitor should tax the i7 CPU this way - it's not as though Logic is graphically demanding... far from it.
I am on 10.6.8, Logic 9.1.5, all apps up to date via "Software Update".
I will of course, be contacting Apple... -
How should I report forum performance issues?
The forums rely heavily on the caching features of browsers to improve the speed of page rendering. Performance of these forums should greatly improve after a few pages because more and more of the images, css and javascript is cached in the browser. As a consequence, when reporting forums performance issues the report should include some information on the state of the browser cache to determine whether the issue is a browser issue or a server issue. Such detailed information is generally not available from just watching the browser screen, but needs to come from specialized tools such as performance monitor plugins and recording proxies.
The preferred report method for performance issues is to use the speed reporting features build into or available as a plugin for a browser for both the page you want to report a problem with and several refence pages in the site. Detailed instructions are listed below separated out for different browsers. If possible, please use Firefox for submitting the report because it provides an export format that can be read back electronically.
Known performance issues
The performance issues with any screen with a Rich Text Editor, such as the Reply window and the compose Private Message window have been acknowleged and improvements are being implemented.
Mozilla Firefox (preferred)
Warning: it is currently not recommended to generate a speed report when logged in. The speed report has enough detail for somebody else to hijack your session and impersonate you on the forums. If you really must report while logged in, make sure you log out your browser after generating the speed report and wait at least 4 hours before posting.

When you report a performance problem please attach the 6 exports from the Firebug Net panel and an explanation of how you are experiencing the issues (for instance how much slower it is then normal) and include a description of your internet connection (dial-up, dsl, cable etc.) and the country from where you are connecting. If you have non-standard tweaks to your Firefox configuration (such as pipelining enabled) or are running any plugins please include that information in your report as well.

Since Google Chrome does not have an export format for the Resource Tracking information best current practice is to take a screenshot and note the hover details for any resource with a tail that is longer then 25% of the total load time. When you report a performance problem please attach the screenshots and an explanation of how you are experiencing the issues (for instance how much slower it is then normal) and include a description of your internet connection (dial-up, dsl, cable etc.) and the country from where you are connecting.
Apple Safari
The Apple Safari Web Inspector has a Resources panel similar to the Resources panel in the Google Chrome developer tools. To get there, follow these steps:
Show the menu bar.
Go to preferences
Go to the Advanced Tab
Check “Show Develop menu in menu bar”.
From the Develop menu select “Show Web Inspector”.
Collecting the performance information and exporting works exactly the same as in Google Chrome. Please refer to the instructions for Google Chrome.
Microsoft Internet Explorer
IE does not have native features to analyze web traffic. No plugins have been found that produce the required information (please let us know if we missed any). For now, please reproduce the issue with Firefox, Chrome or Safari.
Please note that due to the reliance on Javascript for the interactive effects the performance of these forums will be much better on MS IE 8 then on previous versions of MS IE.Hi

Major performance Issues after upgrading to 10.9.2
Hi,
I have been having major performance issues almost preventing me from using the computer at times. I suspect I don't have enough memory to run Maverick as the computer was great before I upgraded.
If any experts or people with ideas for me to speed up the computer, please respond. If you think the only way to improve performance is add memory or revert back to a previous version of OSX that I have a backup for, let me know.
Here is the info on my system, thank you in advance!!

Performance issues since upgrade
I am on a late 2011 MacBook Pro and am having severs performance issues since upgrading to Mavericks. I fear my issues may be related to company installed anti-virus (which I cannot remove), but I was hoping someone could look over my EtreCheck for other potential solutions.
One really odd issue I am having, which I cannot seem to find good information for on Google, is at least 4-5 times a day my Mac just stops. No beach ball, no anything, for about 1-5 minutes. Then it's fine. Maybe just me grasping at straws, but it seems related to a when webpage loads a bunch of images? I always use Safari btw, but testing other browsers, like Chrome & Firefox, it happens as well.
I have also removed TotalFinder and have noticed no improvement and still have the above issue.
Thanks in advance!
Here is my EtreCheck:

CS3 Performance Issues - Productivity Crippled - S.O.S.
I was having performance issues and repeated crashes with AE CS3 on Win XP, so I talked my boss into upgrading me to CS5 and Win 7. All was well until we hired a new guy to help me with my video work load. He has inherited my old software and there's no money for another upgrade, so we're going to have to figure this out.
He running CS3 Master Collection on a Dell PC running Windows XP (Intel Core II Duo 2.33Ghz, 3.25GB RAM). The graphics card is the ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro, which came stock with the machine. Specs on that card here: http://reviews.cnet.com/graphics-cards/ati-radeon-hd-2400/4507-8902_7-32763888.html?tag=sp ecs. Pretty wimpy, I know.
Anyway, my new coworker has been experiencing at least as much frustration as I was, with frequent crashes, a fickle RAM Preview and bad renders. His machine has more RAM and a faster processor than I had when I ran CS3, but his performance seems even worse Since CS3 won't handle AVCHD files, I've been converting our HD camera footage into 720p MPG 2 (Adobe Media Encoder) for projects he's assigned. I suppose that could have something to do with it, but I can't see why CS3 wouldn't run an MPG generated from CS5. Anyway, I asked him to write up a short list of the problems he's experiencing and he gave me this ...
- rendered movies are often corrupted with red frames that flash in spots
- when i try to render an MPEG2 at full res it will give me an error message that says:
After Effects: AEGP Plugin Media IO Plugin:
There is a mismatch between Output Module settings and Transcode Settings. Please verify your settings and try again.
Property Data Invalid!
MediaIO2 error: 0x400e0004
Frame dimensions out of bounds
(5027 :: 12)
- when i try to render a RAM preview, often it does not render the complete work area. it takes several attempts to preview the entire selection
- occasionally, when i bring in new media it gives a message saying 'media pending' and i will have to shut the program down and re-import the media
- it will often (1-3 times per hour) crash unexpectedly and give a message saying 'After Effects has crashed'
- when i try to render a RAM preview an error message pops up saying it needs at least 2 frames to render when i clearly have more than that selected
It's my hope that someone here will recognize a common thread between these various issues and be able to suggest a silver bullet that will fix it all. I realize that's not likely. Research to date has yielded glimpses of possible solutions involving cache and scratch discs, but there are few specifics and I'm not sure exactly what adjustments to make. I also have a spare Nvidia GForce 6800 graphics card form my own computer at home that I could donate to this office if it would help.
I'm about to pass these issues on to our Help Desk and let them deal with it, but I'd love to be able to at least point them in the right direction, since they mostly deal with standard office software and won't have much experience troubleshooting multimedia applications. I believe they also have the option to call Adobe for tech support over the phone, but I'd like them to have a clue if they do. Can anyone suggest what settings, drivers or hardware might be a good place to start to get my man's system running a little more smoothly? I'd really appreciate some insight before we start poking around blindly and I offer my thanks in advance for any forthcoming wisdom.
Thanks!
P.S. For what it's worth, my copy of CS5 is running like a champ on Windows 7 with the 64 bit OS. My machine has an ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT for a card, which can't be much better than the "Pro" version in my coworkwers machine, right? No legal issues, both my CS5 and his CS3 are bought and paid for. However, if After Effects CS3 is incapable of rendering a decent looking file compressed to a reasonable file size, then I'm not sure how valuable it is to us anyway. It seems unbelievable to me that one of the most popular industry standard video aps isn't designed to render anything more than draft quality files for client review. Even if he renders an uncompressed file from AE, CS3 didn't ship with Adobe Media Encoder as a separate ap, so what can he do with it without resorting to third party software? I don't get it, but I'm clearly no expert on the subject.
So, things being what they are, what file format would you suggest I convert the AVCHD file to in order for my CS3 burdened coworkwer to be able to work with them? We are a Windows shop, so I don't know if Dave's Quicktime/PNG suggestion will work for us or not. You've always given good advice to me in the past, so if you have an alternate suggestion I'm eager to try it out. Just go easy on me with the jargon because I'm primarily a print designer and my video skills at this point are (obviously) intermediate at best!
In any case, I really appreciate both you and Dave taking the time to respond to my post. This forum continues to be the best resource I have for solving problems and augmenting my understanding of these programs. My thanks! -
Dear friends,
I have a synchronous WebService -> XI -> Proxy scenario and tried to do a stress testing this morning, when we simulate 80 client users to send the soap request to XI server, I found a performance issue that some of the request messages spent too long time, after checking the details, it's found that the run time item 'HTTP_SEND' is the major reason:
<SAP:RunTimeItem>
<SAP:Name type="PLSRV">PLSRV_CALL_ADAPTER</SAP:Name>
<SAP:Timestamp type="begin" host="JT-PIDEV">20080919023723.87111</SAP:Timestamp>
</SAP:RunTimeItem>
- <SAP:RunTimeItem>
<SAP:Name type="PLSRV">HTTP_SEND</SAP:Name>
<SAP:Timestamp type="begin" host="JT-PIDEV">20080919023723.878215</SAP:Timestamp>
</SAP:RunTimeItem>
- <SAP:RunTimeItem>
<SAP:Name type="PLSRV">HTTP_SEND</SAP:Name>
<SAP:Timestamp type="end" host="JT-PIDEV">20080919023734.474367</SAP:Timestamp>
</SAP:RunTimeItem>
- <SAP:RunTimeItem>
<SAP:Name type="PLSRV">PLSRV_CALL_ADAPTER</SAP:Name>
<SAP:Timestamp type="end" host="JT-PIDEV">20080919023734.480719</SAP:Timestamp>
</SAP:RunTimeItem>
you can find that this step spent about 11 seconds which is not acceptable, as in the normal case, it takes not more than 1 second.
From my understanding, this step will send the message to the target SAP system via the plugin http, why these messages took such long time? How can I tuning this issue?
Regards,
BeanHi kk,
thanks a lot for your kind help .
Do you have a web dispatcher to balance the load for the HTTP calls to your ABAP proxy? Please note, in SMICM of your backend SAP system, you will see minimum number of threads that have been allotted. More threads get allotted till the maximum limit is reached. Looks like this could be the issue. Are you webservice calls to XI load balanced as well. Also, check if the ABAP server proxy program is not causing a delay. Looks like you need some fine tuning to be done.
as both of the inbound and outbound in integration server use the plugin http from/to ICM, and the business logic in backend SAP system so very simple (just some assignment statements), therefore I'm considering the following fine tuning options:
1. increase the max threads of integration server to make sure that the outbound messages don't need to wait for the free thread
2. increase the max threads of ICM in target SAP backend system to make sure that the inbound messages don't need to wait
3. i'm not clear whether we have web dispatcher in XI or SAP backend system, could you please guide me how I can tuning that?

Hi All,
My env is oimps1 on linux and db on different machine.
After the first initial load of the user and org data, suddenly the oim has become too slow
viewing a profile takes 5 minutes and even I haveseen that the cpu goes to 100%.
This is really a worry for the project.
Please suggest what can I do to fix this.I have no clue.Is there any luck in the performance issue? Did you able to improve the performance in any ways?
We are exactly facing the same problem as like yours. Only 3 people are using the server and 15k users in OIM. The performance is really bad. Oracle also can't find anything wrong in the WLS setup and they asked us to apply BP04. We applied BP04 but as expected it didnt help in anyways.
Plz let us know if you could manage to fix this issue or any workaround which you are following.
Thanks

Hi Guys,
I having some performance issue in OSB but i not sure where to tune the setting kindly provide me some ideas. Current project having 3 proxy services, 2 jms proxy, 4 business services and 2 jms business services.
Scenario
when one of the proxy having high loads, others request did not get the responses in other proxy as well. Why will this happens? Is it because the threads is occupied? the proxy that having high load is a asynchronous process. Proxy>>JMS Business (input Q) || (pickup Q)JMS proxy>>business service.
Behavior
1. When having lots of incoming request others services cannot be accessed.
2. Server did not shows out of memory.
3. When browsing the sbconsole and admin console, navigation is very slow it might time out as well.Hi there, before going to the workmanager, can anyone explain about the socket listner? It seems like my socket listner is fully occupied when load comming in.
Basically it seems like not releasing the socket. Can i know by defult how the socket works in WLS? I am lost, because from my understanding, each socket is base on one connection means when it reach the JMS it will ends the process and close the listner. Then when JMS proxy picking the message in the queue will perform one by one means consume the socket one by one.
For e.g:
1. JMS proxy pick up message>"one socket consumed">send to business service > wait for respone > respone return >"socket close"
2. JMS proxy pick up message>"one socket consumed">send to business service > wait for respone > respone return >"socket close"
so each time will used only one socket per transaction am i rite?
and i received below message from the domain log

I am really lost. Recommanded setting for basic Ascync process needed, and i am using the default connection factory, will this cause the problem? -
JavaScript and PS CS6: Performance issue
Hi folks
I have to admit we are stuck in our development: We have written a Phothoshop Plugin unsing extensive JavaScript and Flash Panels / Action Script.
The Javascripts would, eg. select a given layer. When running the Javascript in PS CS5 or 5.1 everything is smooth and snappy but we've noticed, that the same JavaScript running in PS CS6 takes up to 300% more time.
Does anyone having observed the same performance issues?
Would it be faster to address the specific layers by their native Layer ID's rather than their names?
Why is there such a performance slow down with the same JavaScripts / ActionScript-FlashPanel between CS5 and CS6?
We have already contacted [email protected] (we are solution partner silver) but they do not start acting if you are using your own JavaScripts....
You are our last hope :-(
I can send you some of the code but I don't want it to be publicly exposed here.
Thanks in advance,
AndrashHi, since nobody bothers to answer we might have to find out ourselfs.
Maybe it is caused by the way we address layers throug the script?
Which method are you using?
Are you addressing the layers directly or are you just cicling throug an array of layers?
Are you pointing for the layers by their native ID or rather their layer names?
How do you trigger the script: by another script? From a flash panel (Flex / Action Script)?
We are using Flash Panels to start the script. The script simply calls a layer by it's name (a numerical ID that we apply to the layer). The script shall look up that specific layer and check if there is some content on the layer. We created a logger to see where the heavy amount of time is consumed and it seems, that it is while jumping to the layer.
In CS5 that was all a matter of a split second. Now in CS6 it takes a couple of seconds (4sec.). We asked ADOBE Techsupport for help, but they didn't even bother to look at the problem since we are working with self written code (as every developer does.....?!?!). I wonder what techsupport is good for if not answering techical problems like this one.
I hope that, with your answers we might circle in the cause of the problem!
Cheers,

Performance issues - slowdowns...
Hi all,
Brand new iMac 20 inch Core 2 Duo. Working super for the first couple of days and now I notice some performance issues.
First of all, I had some crashes with Safari today. I had installed the Flip4Mac wmv add-on a few days ago. So, I deleted the Flip4Mac WMV browser plugins as suggested in the forums here and no crashes since.
However, Safari now takes a while to load if starting from "closed". The first few days, it opened much, much faster.
Also now iCal is slow to load (almost freezing system with the spinning colour wheel bussing about). It eventually loads, and works as expected - but the first few days it was super fast to load up.
Finally, I have noticed some other occasions where the system just becomes unresponsive. I still have mouse control (not a hard lock up), but I can't switch between programs or launch a new one. Waiting 10-20 seconds usually does the trick and I am again able to work as expected.
I am new to Macs after years as a PC user. In fact, I have a new MacBook Pro coming next week as well. Needless to say, I have made the switch by jumping in! So, I am learning a whole new world here and could use some help! I sure would like to retain the amazing performance I witnessed the first few days, so any assistance is most appreciated.
Best,
StuAllan's suggestions may be better than what I'm going to offer so I'd try them first. If gentler methods don't help, you may want to consider more drastic measures. As he pointed out, brand new hardware is not always perfect.
If you can easily back up all the data you have, I'd consider doing that, then do an erase and install. To do this, boot your Mac, insert the system install or restore disk that came with your Mac, restart, and hold down the C key right after it chimes. When you run through the installation prompts, click the Options Tab when you see it and choose erase and install, remembering that this will wipe out data you have not backed up elsewhere. (not trying to be condescending, just covering all the bases).
There could be some sort of small easy-to-fix issue that Allan's tips will fix. If, OTOH, there is a hardware issue, doing and erase and install will clear up that question pretty quickly. The erase and install will put you back to "factory condition" as far as software is concerned. If problems develop again in a day or two (or sooner) then you should call Apple. Just don't forget to mention you've already done an erase and install.
good luck

Sun ONE 6.1 Performance Issues - Sleeping / Hanging
We have been running the Sun family of web servers for many years now, and ran Netscape Enterprise Server 3.6 for a long time.
Several months ago we upgraded to Sun ONE Web Server 6.0 and then 6.1. We have not had any issues until the past few weeks.
Specifically, the web server appears to 'go to sleep' or 'hang' for many seconds - sometimes up to 45 seconds - before processing any requests.
The server will accept the connection immediately but will not return a page. If left alone, the problem will go away, only to return again. A stop and start will also cure the problem.
Some background: 6 web servers run on this same server (Sun E250 2x400 MHz, 1280 MB RAM) - these servers are all relatively lightly loaded. Copper gigabit connection for network.
Primary data is static, with very few cgi-bin scripts and no applets or server-side Java.
All 6 servers have DNS lookups enabled with caching. The server also has a local DNS caching server running (BIND 9) which is used to help performance.
One of the 'public' web servers (external people can access it) is the one showing these performance issues. I've enabled statistics, and it seems during these 'sleepy' periods I see the following in /.perf (which it finally returns): (I am fetching /.perf every minute and timing how long it takes to fetch it, then saving it in a separate file):

Why do I have all of these processes queued on the server?
Is DNS causing this? I know Sun ONE 6.x does NOT have asynchronous DNS implemented (although it is an option, it has no effect). Did Netscape Enterprise Server 3.6 has ASync DNS implemented?
We would like to avoid turning off DNS resolution for a number of reasons. However, what really bothers us is that this web server's performance suddenly became a problem while the other 5 servers see FANTASTIC performance and never go to sleep (although some of them are NOT accessible from the general Internet).
Has anyone else seen this?
As a side note, all of these web servers are using a NSAPI plugin that I wrote years ago. It's purpose is access control and automatic forwarding to different pages. It also uses DNS hostnames, but thinking it might be a problem with this web server, I've disabled DNS on the plug-in. It has not helped. Again, this plug-in has worked great for years and is quite straightforward and simple.
Something tells me there is more going on here - thoughts or ideas?
We're getting immensely frustrated here.
In desperation we've made some magnus.conf changes but to no real effect (partially listed below):
DNS on
RqThrottle 256
StackSize 131072
CGIWaitPid on
AsyncDNS off
KeepAliveThreads 2
MaxKeepAliveConnections 256
UseNativePoll 1
RcvBufSize 8192
# default=100
KeepAliveQueryMeanTime 25
# default=100
KeepAliveQueryMaxSleepTime 25
# CGI
MinCgiStubs 10
MaxCgiStubs 50
CGIStubIdleTimeout 45
CGIExpirationTimeout 90
Thanks for any pointers,
--DaveNote that at the moment it seems to be responding normally, but we still have a lot of threads hanging around - very strange...
