Performance tunning -Help needed

Hi ,
I had one ZEE program which has 25 files as input file (input data's . Here the logic of the program is as mention below.
1.initializition .
2.get_file_names.(All 25 files name is get in the same perform )
3.write_job_log.
4.open_files.(Open 25 files at a time )
5.read_surr_ctl_file.
6.load_internal_tabs.( Load 25 files data to ITAB )
7.create_edi214_tables.
8.process_ekko_ekpo.(Proces the ITAB data at the time.)
9.refresh_internal_tables.
Here they are openning 25 files , then loading all 25 files to ITAB and processing all the loaded datas.
When this progarm is schedule in background it takes 1.25 hrs to complete the process .
I need to tune this program which ever possible way.
My thought and analysis in this program is -> This performance problem is due to like openning 25 files , then loading all 25 files to ITAB and processing all the loaded datas which may hit the performance . Kindly let me know you IDEAS and experence on this issue . This program is having 10000 lines of code ..

Sluggish iMac performance; maintenance help needed

I have a 21.5 inch, mid-2011 iMac with 12 GB memory and a 1 Tb drive (660 GB free). Have upgraded to Mavericks, and the iMac is running slow (although it was sluggish prior to the upgrade).
Am looking for advice on how to get things sped up a bit. I have removed some unneeded startup items. And have run EtreCheck with results as follows. Have also repaired permissions and verifed disk. All seems to be in order.
Can anyone offer additional hints on performance improvments before I go with a clean install?

I don't see anything obvious that would be causing your Mac slowdowns.
You need to update all of your third party software if there are OS X Mavericks updates that can be applied. You may need to go the third party developers' websites if there are no updates through the Mac App Store.
Update all of your Web browser Internet plugins, also.
Also, if you have any third party devices, like keyboards, mice, drawing tablets, hubs, card readers, etc, you need to update the drivers for these devices to OS X Mavericks compatible versions.

hi guys
i am using itunes on my macbook with an external drive
i thought i was pushing the ecject key but i was pushing the key under it it i pushed it a few times then i remembered that it removes tracks from my i tunes
has it deleted the mp3s ?? or will the tracks still be in my folder on my external
also how will i get them back in to the player ?
sometimes when i delete stuff it asks if i want to move the file to the trash it never time

User anonymous does not have permission to perform lookup : help needed

Hi All,
I'm facing a strange problem.
I'm using weblogic 8.1
Some ejbs are deployed in the application and security settings are done properly.
But sometimes, i get an exception saying that
'javax.naming.NoPermissionException: User <anonymous> does not have permission on weblogic to perform lookup operation. [Root exception is javax.naming.NoPermissionException: User <anonymous> does not have permission on weblogic to perform lookup operation.]
at weblogic.rjvm.BasicOutboundRequest.sendReceive(BasicOutboundRequest.java:108)' .
This ejb is invoked from a web application, and the exception happens only once in the server lifecycle (but not on the first try).
This happens in a JTA transaction and eventually the transaction gets timed out. Once timed out for the first time, further requests are executing fine and it is connecting with the configured security credentials.
Initially i thought ejb caching was causing the problem. But even after removing the cache, it is throwing the exception.
Only sometimes, it is trying to connect as <anonymous> user.
I'm so fed up with this..
Can anybody help me out..?

Which 8.1 SP are you on? If you open a support case, a support engineer may be able to identify a fix that has been included in a newer Service Pack.

Air Tunes Help Needed

I just received my airport express and got the internet setup OK.
My main issue is getting I tune to play through my stereo.
I have a mini jack with RCA plug. I does not geive me a speaker choice on the bottom of my itunes.

You do not need AirPort on to stream. My Airport is off. I have a similar setup with TC and Express. I suspect your Expresses are not set up properly. You may have created a new wireless network with the Expresses and are connecting to them directly via wireless.
Since you are already connect wirelessly, keep the Expresses where they are. Open AirPort Utility. You should see 3 devices. 1 TC and 2 Expresses. Access TC. Go Manual setup. Click Wireless. Setup your wireless network or write all the info down (name, password, encryption). Update if you've changed anything. Click on an Express. Manual setup. Click Wireless. Select Join existing wireless network. Enter the TC wireless network settings. Update. Confirm that Express shows up again on AirPort Utility. Repeat with Express #2. Via AirPort Utility, click Music -> Enable Airtunes. Enter a new password. Update again.
If all works, you should be able to turn off AirPort now.
Open iTunes. The bottom right will give you the option to broadcast to AirTunes. Enter password when prompted.

Ipod crashing and not able to display in i-tunes - help needed please

After synch, i-tunes said disconnect but ipod still flashing not too and continued so had to disconnect after bout an hour! Now ipod not recognised in itunes. Have run ipod diagnostic check from i-tunes and everything on green saying it connected properly!
tested i-tunes with shuffle and that all works fine.
Been trying to resolve for hours!

Have you reset the iPod? In the future you can use
the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the system tray
to eject your iPod. It looks like a silver rectangle
with a green arrow over it.
I've reset it using the menu button and the click wheel - is that what you mean or is there another way?

Note: I modified query and it gives good result, now it takes 3 to 4 sec for 16000 records.

I am in middle of performance tunning in BI 7.0, as i am going to do the following steps-i am unclear in some steps;
expert advice is needed. post ur ans as soon as possible.
When loading transaction data, following this procedure:
known - Load all master data.
known - Delete the indices of the InfoCube and its aggregates.
Unknown - Turn on number range buffering.
Unknown - Set an appropriate data packet size.
known - Load the transaction data.
known - Re-create the indices.
Unknown - Turn off number range buffering.
known - Refresh the statistics.

Performance tuning is at various levels :
1. Data Modeling
2. Data Loading
3. Report design
4. Reporting
It is a mix and match of the above and other factors you might need to consider could also be something like:
1. DB being used
2. Partitioning
3. System parameters
4. Authorization Design...

Help needed on CD740 ???

Help needed on CD740 ? My CD740 is GREAT , well , it was great !!? The sound and general performance are wonderful , but , it now has a fault !!? Shock Horror !!
What can it be ?!!? Well , the display illumination has failed , as in , there isn't any !!? Have to use a torch to read it !!? Not good. Now , here's the thing , I want a phone number (UK zone) ?to talk to an actual human and I cannot find one !!? That is soooooo annoying !!? The unit is out of warranty so I want to repair this myself , no worries , I once worked for Philips in their pro studio equipment repair workshop so I know my way around black boxes !! I would like a service manual though so that I can get the case apart without damage. So , can anyone help me with a phone number , pretty please ?!!

that coul not find package javax.servletWhat I did not mention... you need to add those JARs in the Classpath explicitly. You will find them in %TOMCAT_HOME%\common\lib. You atleast need to add servlet-api.jar to your Classpath. :)

This is having high cost and taking around 15mins to execute.

Help needed by new Iphone 4s owner

Help needed please - both my hubby and I have iphone 4s - I've just gone to download music onto my phone and have somehow managed to download all his stuff onto my phone and lost all of mine Is there anyway I can get my info back and delete his without restoring to back to factory settings (this was the first time I connected mine to the laptop to download and I'm not very good with the computer as you can see from my problem !) xx

(Make sure the Music (top left) library is selected before beginning this.)
If you have bad song links in your library, hilite them and hit the delete button. Then locate the folder(s) where your music is located and drag and drop into the large library window in iTunes ( where your tracks show up). This will force the tunes into iTunes. Before you start, check your preferences in iTunes specifically under the"Advanced" tab, general settings. I prefer that the 1st 2 boxes are unchecked. (Keep iTunes Music folder organized & Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library). They are designed to let iTunes manage your library. I prefer to manage it myself. Suit yourself. If there is a way for iTunes to restore broken links other than locating one song at a time I haven't found it yet. (I wish Apple would fix this, as I have used that feature in other apps.) This is the way I do it and I have approx. 25,000 songs and podcasts and videos at present. Hope this helps.

Urgent help needed on deployment facts

I had completed a Java Web based application using JApplet, which in turn uses Java Media Framework and Java Communications APIs. So when i deploy this application and let the clients use this application. I need to dump some jar files and properties files into the clients JRE so that all the APIs will work properly. Without any installations. I tried doing this manually by copying these files into client machines So is there a direct method for performing the task. Or i need to add some additional code to my applet so as to find the clients current JRE version and place the required files under using FTP? Can i write a setup routine or something which does all these operations once the client access the applet?

What you will want to do is look into JNLP and Java WebStart. They allow you to write a setup for your product that makes installation as easy as InstallShield™ does for the Windows™ platform (ie: it allows customers who cannot tell Java from Perl to install your product).

Have you tried improving your original image with better lighting, better camera, better lens, etc.? What image processing have you done already, or are you starting from scratch? I agree with AnalogKid in providing some sample images to the forum so we can get an idea of what you are working with. Have you performed any morphology processing on the image? Have you tried edge detection functions? There are numerous functions that NI provides with their NI Vision software that will help you process your image, it is just finding the right combination that is the toughest part. Last, if you do have the Vision software, I might suggest taking a look at the Vision concepts manual to get an idea of the different functions and their capabilities. Let us know what kind of images you are working with and what you have done so far, and last, what you would like to eventually see. Thanks, and have a great day.
