BEx Web Analyzer requires Portal and is basically a Web template called 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN.
Is Portal configured in your system landscape? If yes try to see if its configured probably using transaction RSPOR_CUST01.
If you have access to SM59, you can test the RFC connection to the portal by running the Test Connection for the corresponding RFC destination ID that you see in RSPOR_CUST01 transaction.

Permanent SOLUTION for the WHINE issue. STEP by STEP Instructions.

Hi all,
Your dreams have come true. There is a cure for the whine that requires no programs to run and persists between reboots.
It requires the editing of one file. Please attempt this only if you understand what you are doing. I take no responsibility for your actions.
Here are the steps:
1. Find the file: -> System -> Library -> Extensions -> IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext
2. Click the file and choose DUPLICATE from the File menu. Drag the copied file to somewhere safe.
3. Control click the original file to get: SHOW PACKAGE CONTENTS
4. Double click CONTENTS
5. Double click PLUGINS
Delete everything except:
ACPISMCPlatformPlugin.kext
Simple_PlatformPlugin.kext
6. Control click ACPISMCPlatformPlugin.kext and again SHOW PACKAGE CONTENTS
7. Double click CONTENTS
8. Open the file: Info.plist with a text editor. I use Subethaedit.
9. Look for the following:

Make sure the MacBookPro1,1 is there at the end of the block. The block above represents the CPU throttling values. You'll notice that the integer values in the last block are 10 / 0 / 15 / 15
There are other similar blocks related to other machine types. The first block is for "M9ADP1,1". The MacBook Pro Block is the second big block.
The important line numbers are 129 and 131. So look there.
Change those to:

With this method the only change is to the throttling matrix retaining all the code of the kernel extension relating to the MBP otherwise.

1. The other files pertain to other Mac types and not the MBP; I don't think they'd harm anything by being there but it's what I have and I just wanted to report my setup exactly and remove all other variables.
2. If you look at the matrix, the first number appears to relate to overall processor load; so it gives parameters for various thresholds.
All the values above are identical X / 0 / 0 / 15; where X represents the processor load threshold.
When this matrix is assigned to the final ie. 10 level ie: 10 / 0 / 0 / 15 there is a very slight hiss still audible. Changing to the given values 10 / 0 / 0 / 5 eliminated all whine on my machine.
I agree it would be best to know what the values mean but I've just used my best deduction to work out this strategy.

Solution for: no audio in time line - conforming issues - unspecified error occurred

these are all the same issue and i have the solution for it.
Adobe has once again let down the non professional user but ignoring this bug. They have also deleted alot of my other posts on the adobe forums.. perhaps so you cannot receive help from me?? who freakin knows..
b Problem:
you import your footage and there is no audio in the time line. you see the audio clip there but no information in it. some people say its because of MPEG format but MPEG files works fine in Windows Movie Maker, Ulead, Pinnacle, Sony Vegas.. etc...
let it be known that its an Adobe Premiere issue.
b Solution:
b step 1:
close adobe premiere
b step 2:
open My Computer and go to tools at the top. From the drop down menu go to folder options. In folder options click the view tab. In the advanced settings section where it says 'Hidden files and folders' make sure 'show hidden files and folders' is selected.
b step 3:
open My computer and go to c:\ drive > Documents and settings. Now click into your user name (NOT 'All users') in my case its 'proGamer'. Now click into 'Application Data' > 'Adobe' > 'common' > 'Media Cache Files'.
b step 4:
in this folder find the files you were just trying to import by searching the name. in my case its file: 20081217030338. you will now see 3 different file types with the same file name you were importing: CFA, PEK, MPGINDEX. delete them all!
b step 5:
go back and open adobe premiere, open up your project again and it will automatically recreate those files you just deleted. hopefully correctly.
b NOTE:
If this hasn't worked then open your adobe premiere project, clear all trace of the files with no audio and start again from step 1. then after step 5 just import the files back into your project.
This has proved to work with every file i've imported that had the audio not conformed.
b your second option:
simply play your clip in WMV or VLC or what ever player you use and record the audio in real time in stereo by using some music editing like cubase or logic audio. you can also use something more friendly like 'recordpad' found here: http://www.nch.com.au/recordpad/screenshots.html now you can buy it from these guys or get it how ever else you like

I've read plenty of places that they know about the bug and are going to fix it. Will from Adobe said so in a few older posts. It's also listed as an issue in the 4.0.1 readme.
I agree that this is the most screwed up Adobe release ever but I doubt they're deleting your posts to hide it. Never know though.....

Dozens of multimillion dollar movies have been edited with Avid and Final Cut over the past few years. Adobe doesn't put forth any effort make Premiere a pro application. Because they pander to the consumers and prosumers they end up messing up the product for everybody.
Premiere Elements is for consumers, Premiere Pro should be for the 'Pros'

Has anyone come up with a solution for the WD Passport and Mavericks OSX issues yet?

I was wondering if anyone has come up with a solution for the newer Macbook Pro/Mavericks and external WD Passport not mounting problems?
I have a couple of year old WD Passport that worked fine in my old 2009 Macbook Pro, the problem is the old computer crashed.
My dilemna; My new 2014 Mackbook Pro will not open my WD Passport, called WD Support, their answer, sorry, nothing has been solved.
Is there anyway I can get access to my files on the Passport with any other software, or by using a PC.
I am aware of reformatting the HD, and have read all the forums I could find and have tried installing the WD Update as well, (with the support tech from WD) and nothing works.
I know that my WD Passport works, so please don't suggest checking it, or the cord.
I appreciate all the help anyone can offer, and I am with all the rest of you struggling for solutions.

Hi everyone, this is what I did
1. upgrade disks to the latest firmware
2. de-install ntfs-3g and MacFuse.
3. Re-install NTFS 3G without Macfuse.
4. Next step: Install OSXFUSE latest version with selection MacFUSE compatibility layer.
5. Last step: Install Fuse Wait
Note: between steps 2 and 5, I restarted my machine.
It worked for me, after about 4 hours.

Solution for MP CM1312nfi Manual Duplex page ordering issue

One of the things that bothered me when I got my CM1312nfi was the fact that Manual Duplex and Booklet printing were printing the back sides of the pages in the wrong order, resulting in weird page combinations (e.g. 1-8, 2-7, 3-6, 4-5). If I reversed the order of the sheets before reinserting them into the printer and then reversed the sheet order again after the job was finished, the results were as expected, but it was a pain in the rear end doing so.
After fruitlessly trying to get HP tech support to help, I took matters into my own hands. I started digging around in the PPD file for the printer and trying different combinations of parameters. I finally stumbled upon a combination that worked, so I thought I'd share it here. If you'd like to download a ready-to-install PPD file, you can get it here:

If you have your browser set to automatically decompress archive files (the "Open safe files after downloading" option in Safari will do that), control-click on the link and download the file that way. The file needs to stay compressed.
Copy this file into your "/Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources" folder, saving the original file in that folder somewhere in case you need to go back to it. Then, go into the Print & Fax preference pane and delete and re-add the printer.
If you'd rather do the modification yourself, here's the procedure:
1. Copy the "HP Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP Series.gz" file from the "/Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources" folder to the desktop. Make a duplicate copy so you can restore the original if you make a mistake.
2. Double-click on the "HP Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP Series.gz" file now on the desktop. The file will decompress and create a "HP Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP Series" file (without the .gz extension).
3. Open the "HP Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP Series" file (the one without the .gz extension) in TextEdit.
4. Edit the following two lines:
<pre> *DefaultHPFaceOrientation: FaceUp</pre>
<pre> *HPManDupTumbleFirstSides: False</pre>
Change "FaceUp" to "FaceDown" in the first line. Change "False" to "True" in the second line.
This will allow you to put the pages back into the printer as they come off the printer, i.e. without having to rotate them or flip them over.
5. Save the file.
6. Open the Terminal application and type the following two commands followed by the return key:
<pre> cd Desktop</pre>
<pre> gzip -c "HP Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP Series" > "HP Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP Series.gz"</pre>
This will replace the "HP Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP Series.gz" file on the desktop, so you can see the importance of the duplicate copy in step 1.

TEMPORARY SOLUTION FOR A7-30 A3300-GV/G/HV/H TOUCHSCREEN PROBLEM (DOWNGRADING/FLASHING FIRMWARE)

TURN OFF THE TABLET AND DO NOT YET CONNECT IT TO THE COMPUTER!
1. Download the official firmware depending on your device:
A3300-GV/G - A3300GV_A442_01_43_140826_ROW
A3300-HV/H - A3300HV_A442_01_19_140827_ROW
Click the download icon
2. Extract the downloaded RAR file
4. Don't use the SP Flash Tool and Drivers in the archive. Use the updated versions.

5. Extract them (unblock the archive - right click the file, then properties, then Unblock at the bottom)
6. Open the Drivers folder, then run Install.bat as admin
7. Wait for it to install (it takes some time)
To load the drivers, press the volume up button of your tab. (DO NOT RELEASE IT). Then connect your tablet to your PC. Wait for the computer to finish installing the drivers for your device. After installing, disconnect your tablet and if it is turned on, turn it off again.
8. After installation, run flash_tool.exe as admin from the SP Flash Tool folder.
9. On the Download Section, click on scatter loading
10. In the box, go to the folder of the firmware, open target_bin, then click MT6582_android_scatter.txt (Our processor is MT8382 but that's okay.)
11. Click the Download button (it doesn't require Internet)
12. After you press download, press the volume up button of your tablet, DO NOT RELEASE IT. Then connect your tab to your PC, you can release the volume up button ONCE SP FLASHTOOL HAS STARTED FLASHING YOUR DEVICE.
13. Flashing takes time, so wait for it. After flashing, disconnect your tab.
14. Clear your /data and /cache first. Boot to recovery (Power + button up button). Press power button again. Navigate by pressing down, and select by pressing up.
15. Choose factory reset, then yes.
16. Boot your tablet. (It takes some minutes.)

Solution for spotlight not finding all files and plea to apple...

ok, here is the deal:
you are looking for a file named "new_template.lso" which is a logic song template, that you created with logic studio.
this file resides in ~/Library/Application Support/Logic/Song Templates/ a location where logic insists on putting the song templates.
looking for it via the spotlight menu shows nothing.
looking for it with the finders search reveals ... nothing. *** ?
here is the wonderful solution:
-open a new finder search: cmd-f.
-goto the first dropdown menu
-choose "others"
-look for "system files" check the corresponding box.
-go back to the search window and search for the file - no result
-now go to the first dropdown menu and choose the newly added "system files" entry.
-finally go to the second dropdown menu and choose "contains".
boom, totally easy and fast and user friendly... you got your file.
this solution isn't even possible in the spotlight menu!!!
so why am i not supposed to find files in my user library?
i am 32 years old.

i used macs since 10 years.
i promise i will not sue apple if i find and delete files by mistake.
seriously this dumbing down the system starts to get unbearable.

I completely agree. Everyone who has a problem with this (and I see it is a hot topic in these forums) should send apple a a note and tell them that we don't all stick to iLife and some of us go into the LIBRARY. Leopard is great, but Tiger let me efficiently find stuff in the library and I was always confident I'd find all I needed.

First you have to be an idiot to turn it way way up; but the simple solution Apple can easily do is to make the volume control level bar turn red when it gets to a possibly damaging level for those folks who can't figure it out themselves...;-) That could be a simple update to add some color.....

Maybe a solution for those with 10.4.7 mail issue

I've been having the same problems with mail.app, prefs., sending and recieving after installing the 10.4.7 combo. Tried everything that's been posted and finally got mail.app to work after one last attempt at fixing the problem.
I closed mail.app then moved the "Mail" folder, which contained everything mail.app related, from my user library to my desk top, opened mail which then prompted me to give permission to retrieve info(I don't remember the exact request, sorry) it took about 2 sec. then I was back in business. The only thing left was to move my "Mail" folder back to it's original location and everythings seems A.O.K.
1 suggestion, maybe good idea to make a copy of your "Mail" folder and keep it safe incase of any unforseen problems before going ahead with the above mentioned.

Permanent solution to Runtime Error

I have a "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error" using Photoshop Elements 11 and have cleared it by renaming the MediaDatabase.db3 file as suggested. The only problem is, it occurs every time I start Photoshop and it's getting a bit tiresome having to go through the same process before I can open the software. Is there a more permanent solution?

Has anyone found a permanent solution for this error? We are encoding HD 1080i to H264s via a droplet. The -120 error does not happen every time we encode. We are getting tired of resetting the background process in Compressor. We are getting this on only one of three Macs...

Why are you resetting background processes for Compressor?
Isolating the problem to one machine indicates clearly it's not a Compressor problem or it would be present on each of your machines and we would be seeing this topic much more often.
Simple but tedious binary tests are required to debug this. You start with a project that returns the error and move it to another machine. If it doesn't error out, the problem lies on the first machine. If you bring a known good project from Machine 2 to Machine 1 and Machine 1 errors out, you know it's the machine. But you don't know what on the machine is causing the problem. Now you start looking for likely causes starting with drives.

I just find a permanent solution for the wifi problem happened after 296MB OTA update to lenovo K3 Note.
To solve it. Just follow these steps:-
Go to engineering mode my dialing:- *#*#3646633#*#*
Now go to connectivity tab and tap on WiFi.
Now mark the option.
1.) WFA test UI
2.) WPS test mode
Now exit from engineering mode and check. Wifi will work smoothly.!

I did try to uninstall and reinstall. It messed up my computer. I had to "RESTORE" from the prior days backup. This was not helpful at all. I'm used to losing all my stuff when I connect to iTunes, that's a whole other issue, but now I'm completely banned from any updates to my phone at all. Geeze.......
