Photoshop Elements 12 PC Download license transfer for Mac

I recently purchased a PC download for Photoshop Elements 12 and I'm going to be converting over to a Mac. Can I just transfer my elements license to a Mac or what do I need to do so that I can use this on my Mac? Thanks in advance!

I wanted to follow up with this question that I had because I was able to find a solution! I went to the Adobe site and opened a chat with an Adobe rep. All I had to do was chose from a couple of drop downs and explain to them that I needed to be able to download my Photoshop Elements on a Mac and he sent me a link to do that. All I need to do is open the download on my Mac and use my original serial number. I was really impressed with the promptness and the degree of service that I received. Hope this is helpful to others having this same issue!

Photoshop Elements 9.0.2 patch released for MAC users

A patch has been released for Photoshop Elements 9 to fix some import from iPhoto issues.
The patch can be downloaded from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4918 link.
One should be able to import media from iPhoto'011 after the patch has been applied. The application hang issue should also not come while importing a large iPhoto'09 catalog into Organizer.
The patch can also be applied from Adobe Application Manager via Help>Updates.

If you open the Organizer and go to Edit>Preferences>Camera or Card Reader, do you have Auto Launch Adobe Photo Downloader on Device Connect checked?
Try checking that if you don't.

Photoshop elements 10, need download for new computer

I recently had the computer my version of elements 10 on crash and burn. I would like to install on my replacement computer. I tried downloading the file for reinstallation however my access was denied. Please help.

Does Elements need to have access to ‘My Pictures’ on Windows as when I remove Photos from ‘My Pictures’, Elements later, when backing up, gives a message that it is unable to ‘reconnect’ to the same picture on elements. On other occasions when removing a photo from Elements catalogue I also get a similar message when backing up saying ‘unable to reconnect’. 1. Is there a relationship between Elements and My Pictures and is Elements dependant on the Windows ‘My Pictures’? 2. Why does some photos in Elements in some cases cause them to multiply e.g. double; triple; quadruple; and on occasions even more? Is there something I need to do to stop this or an easy way I can remove the multiples without spending hours doing it manually one by one? Am I doing something wrong? My O/S is Windows XP SP2 and windows Vista on my Laptop. I have been using Elements 5 and have just purchased Photoshop Elements 8.0. (Upgrade) and about to install it. Be grateful for any advice as I do enjoy using the program if only I can resolve this issue. I am not a PC wiz and mainly use Elements to catalogue photos from which I compile collections and from them slide shows with music. The organizer doesn't care where you send your photos when you download them via the downloader or where they happen to be when you first bring them in if you use the Get Photos command, but once your pics are in the Organizer, you *must* move them from within organizer or it can't find them. You don't have to use My Pictures at all if you don't want to, but regardless of the folder where you put your photos, if you want them someplace else, you use organizer to do it.

I have clicked on it, selected “Stack” and all is now fine, with both versions of the photo readable by “unstacking”, using the side arrows !!

If you registered your copy with adobe, you may find download links by going to the main page of adobe.com and clicking on My Adobe and working through the links there. If they're still available there, save the downloads this time, don't just run them, since adobe only makes those available for about 3 years.

If you downloaded PSE 12 for Windows then you downloaded the correct version. There are only two versions, one for PC and one Mac. The PC version covers Windows XP SP3 thru Windows 8.1.

I have downloaded the Photoshop Elements 12 trial download assistant multiple times, saving to a new filename each time, and I get the same message:

When trying to install a new version of the Adobe Application Manager you can receive the error, "Sorry, an Error has occurred. This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance."
If you are having problems installing the Adobe Download Assistant, check to see if a previous version is already installed. You can locate the Adobe Download Assistant in the Applications folder. Once you have located the older version, then drag the Adobe Download Assistant to the trash can. Then, you can install the Adobe Download Assistant successfully.
