PI 7.1 JMS Adapter Correlation ID problem

Hi,
I try to get rid of the Correlation ID generated by the JMS Adapter (receiver).
In the adapter configuration, processing tab, I choose Set Correlation ID To: NO VALUE.
But still, in the message's details I can see a Correlation ID like this:
62656263343530362D633765652D346435652D323166392D
Any idea how to force a NO VALUE or a specific value? (hardcoded)
Thanks,
Martin

  • JMS Adapter - Correlation ID

    Hi,
    I am looking to use the JMS Adapter to put a message on a Queue (ActiveMQ), which is consumed and serviced as a request with a correlating JMS Message being produced as a response.
    An  Async Message is created by the client and forwarded to the JMS adapter via an AMF Channel which creates the actual JMS TextMessage and puts it on the queue, in response my clent receives the Acknowledgement (MessageAckEvent) which contains a correlationID in the format:
    9D90B26-2006-52C7-FE31-70926243CDBE
    Which is attained form the request messageID - A'OK
    The poblem is the JMS TextMessage created does not contain the correlationID !  The JMS Adapter code does this:
    public Object invoke(Message message)
    // named Flex message props become JMS headers
    Map msgProps = message.getHeaders();
    msgProps.put(JMSConfigConstants.TIME_TO_LIVE, new Long(message.getTimeToLive()));
    The correlationID like time to live is not in the AsyncMessage headers - Im thinking this could be an issue, does anyone agree ?
    I think the correlationID should be populated in the same way as time to live.
    There is also another issue in terms of the flex client creating the original Async Message. This has a property of correlationID which is able to be set, though in terms of the JMS Adapter this is ignored. If I set this property manually and send to the JMS Adapter the correlation ID in the Ack does not contain what I set, and again holds the messageID.  To be fair I think this is not the intended use of the correlationID property, and is for correlation within internal topics, but from the JMS Adapter point of view looks a bit weird.
    Can anyone confirm if they think my ramblings are something that could be raised as an issue or whether I have just missed the point completely as Im not very good at reading documentation :-)
    Cheers,
    Jonathan.

    I looked into the wsdl and xsd file which correspond to my JMS Adapter.
    There is one line:
    <jca:header message="hdr:InboundHeader_msg" part="inboundHeader"/>
    Is there a way to add this information to
    <message name="JMSCorrelationProcessRequest_msg">
    <part name="JMSCorrelationProcessRequest" element="imp1:JMSCorrelationProcessRequest"/>
    </message>
    If this is possible i can access the header variables in BPEL...

  • JMS Adapter Message Selector Problem...

    Hi
    I have set the following in the invoke before producing the message and dropping on the queue
    <invoke name="Invoke_1" partnerLink="adapt"
    portType="ns1:Produce_Message_ptt"
    operation="Produce_Message"
    inputVariable="Invoke_1_Produce_Message_InputVariable"
    bpelx:inputHeaderVariable="Sender"/>
    On the receive side I have the message selector configured for the adapter as follows:
    <jca:operation
    ActivationSpec="oracle.tip.adapter.jms.inbound.JmsConsumeActivationSpec"
    DestinationName="dattjndi"
    UseMessageListener="false"
    MessageSelector="Sender=AdaptationRequest"PayloadType="TextMessage"
    OpaqueSchema="false" >
    </jca:operation>
    Where AdaptationRequest is the value for the Sender variable which will be used to filter the message. But this does not work. the messages are still not consumed. What could be the problem?
    Thanks,
    Anil

    did you check the message selector section on
    http://java.sun.com/j2ee/sdk_1.3/techdocs/api/javax/jms/Message.html
    explains all the operators you can use and the correct syntax. Make a note of the case sensitivity.

  • MQ Adapter Correlation Set Problem

    Hi,
    I was using BPEL 10g to run a application, but our company is changing to version 11g, so I created the same app, with basically the same configuration, Correlation Sets and another things, but now I dont receive a response from the MQ Series, and when I go to the panel control of my application i see this error message in the rejected messages tab:
    Cannot complete callback since unable to retrieve SourceURI/Wire from Correlation store. Either Instance Tracking is diabled or no corresponding Request succeeded prior to this callback (When i open this message, I can see the payload, and when I open it, it shows my message)
    Someone have a clue what the problem is? I verified, and created a hundred times the correlation sets, but it doesn't work, I don't know if I have to do something more, but I don't think the queue is finding the right instance to return the message, and this is why I'm getting a time out, but the reason I don't know, because it's the same process as 10g, sou it should work fine without problems.

    Solution is:
    JDeveloper using Create property alias wizard doesn't add namespace for query.
    I had to add it manually
    <bpws:propertyAlias propertyName="pns1:orderId_property" messageType="client:activationPushRequestMessage"
    part="payload" query="/ns5:activationPushRequest/processid" xmlns:ns5="http://xmlns.oracle.com/activation/bpel/"/>
    now it works

  • Problem setting a provider specific property : JMS adapter

    Hi Experts:
    I need to set a provider specific property as required by the third party in a IDoc to JMS scenario.
    The property name starts with JMS_ and is offcourse a property specific to the JMS provider.
    The way I am setting it is I have declared a Additional JMS message property by the same name as desired by the third party say
    JMS_XXX
    and then using the DynamicConfigurationBean I assign a value to this in the reciever channel.
    The problem that we have observed is, all other properties are set as desired, only this one for which the name starts with JMS_ is not set correctly.
    Is it possible to set such a provider specific property using XI or not?

    Hi Amol,
    Adapter-Specific Message Properties
    ·        To store adapter attributes in the message header of the XI message, select Set Adapter-Specific Message Properties.
    ·        To apply the following attributes in XI message headers, set the corresponding indicators:
           Name                                           Technical Name
    JMS Message Correlation ID               DCJMSCorreleationID
    JMS Message Delivery Mode               DCJMSDeliveryMode
    JMS Message Destination                   DCJMSDestination
    JMS Message Expiration                     DCJMSExpiration
    JMS Message ID                                DCJMSMessageID
    JMS Message Priority                         DCJMSPriority
    JMS Message Redelivered Flag            DCJMSRedelivered
    JMS Message ReplyTo Destination      DCJMSReplyTo
    JMS Message Time Stamp                   DCJMSTimestamp
    JMS Message Type                              DCJMSType
    Used JMS Message Selector                 DCJMSMessageSelector
    Used JMS Message Queue                    DCJMSMessageQueue
    JMS User                                                DCJMSUser
            If you want to set additional JMS message attributes, select Specify Additional JMS Message Properties (10 Maximum).
    ·        In the table, enter the names of the JMS message properties whose values are to be included in the message header of the XI message.
    The technical names of the additional attributes are DCJMSMessageProperty0, DCJMSMessageProperty1, ..., DCJMSMessageProperty9.
    You can enter more than 10 properties in the table, but only the first 10 are taken into account.
    The attribute namespace for the adapter is http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/JMS.

  • JMS Adapter Native Correlation

    Hello,
    I've been trying to develop a request/reply service using JMS Adapter.
    I Followed the steps in the "Adapter Knowledge Base: Technical Note #006: Correlation of Adapter messages within a BPEL process" document.
    This document explains how to use the native correlation in the JMS Adapter by modifing the wsdl produced by the JMS Adapter Wizzard.
    One of the thing the document says is that the invoke and recive must be sequencial and that the JMSMessageId of the first message should be placed in the JMSCorrelationId of the response.
    I've done all the steps and developed a Message Driven Bean that reads the request and publishes the response accordingly.
    I'm gessing that someone else already have this kind of problems...
    If there is someone that might be able to help please send me an email to [email protected], so i can send the project to you.
    Tks.

    sorry, i forgot the say one thing.....
    There is a table in the orabpel that is named Native_correlation....
    somehow this table is never populated...
    Tks once more

  • Problem with JMS Adapter after upgrade to 7.1

    Hi All,
    After an upgrade the JMS adapter connecting IBM Websphere MQ gives the following error:
    Error connecting due to missing class: com.ibm.mq.jms.MQQueueConnectionFactory. Ensure that all resources required are present in the JMS provider library: aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda
    Since we are now on PI 7.1, the directory the JMS adapter should be looking for the libraries should be com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda. Has anyone else come across this problem after an upgrade? Should we remove the old aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda?

  • Problem with special character like u00E5,u00E4 u00F6 in Sender JMS Adapter

    Hi,
    Problem:
    Sender JMS Adapter has transformation error when the file includes western european characters such as å,ä ö. And because of this reason the data is not picked up by adapter.
    The scenrio is JMS --- > XI ---> Proxy.
    If the file does not include the western European characters then it is working fine, but when the file include the western european characters such as å, ä, ö so got the error.
    Our Efforts:
    We have tried ISO8859-1 in JMS Module Tab as shown below.
    1. Transfer.ContentType text/xml;charset=ISO-8859-1
        AND with this also
    2. Transfer.ContentType application/coctet-stream;charset=ISO-8859-1
    None of them working.
    Error In CC:
    In Sender CC monitoring we are getting the below error.

    > I think you have to figure out first, which codepage you really have, not just try. Maybe you ask someone or you check with a hex editor.
    Hi Stefan,
    Finally we solved the problem.
    As you said above to figure the the codepage, we asked to our MQ team for the same and found that they are using ISO-8859-1. In XI we were also trying with multiple conbinations (ISO-8859-1, UTF-8 and many more), but didn't get any success.
    Finally MQ team changed their encoding to UTF-8 and in XI we used ISO-8859-1 and we get the success in picking the data with spl char. Even though in XI the spl char comes in destorted order but at the receiver end they are in proper shape.
    Thanks a lot for your help.

  • Correlation issue in JMS adapter - SYNC/ASYNC scenario without BPM

    Hi,
    I am working on a SYNC/ASYNC scenario with JMS adapter without using BPM. My scenario is SOAP<>PI>JMS. I configured the interface as below:
    1. SOAP Sender channel
    2. JMS Receiver Channel writing to Queue A.
         Module used:      a. RequestOneWayBean
                   b. WaitResponseBean
         Correlation Settings:
                   a. Set JMS Correlation ID to "XI Message ID"
                   b. Store JMS CorrelationID of request (Checked)
                   c. Set JMS Property to "JMS Correlation Id"
                   d. Value = "XI MEssage ID"
    3. JMS Sender channel reading from queue B ( I am exporting the message from queue A and importing into queue B)
         Module used:      a. NotifyResponseBean
         Correlation Settings:
                   a. Set XI MEssage Id to "GUID"
                   b. Set XI Conversation ID to "Stored JMS COrrelationID of Request"
    I can see the cid in the message from queue A. But I observed thhat the header format of the message in Queue A is "MQSTR".
    ISSUE:
    1. While writing the message to queue A, below adapter log details(part b) concerned me:
         a. Message '8747a7c2-2b06-11df-8055-005056a70ed6' successfully processed by channel
         b. Could not create acknowledgements for message '8747a7c2-2b06-11df-8055-005056a70ed6'
    I am not sure why I am receiving the message that "  could not create acknowledgements"
    2. While reading the message from the sender channel,I consistently get the error message as below:

    3. Sync / Async Bridge without BPM
    In the note, they mentioned something about header being "MQRFH2". BUt in our case, the header is "MSSTR". Not sure whether it makes any difference.

  • Problem in JMS-Adapter with CharacterSet Websphere MQ

    Hi,
    we have the following scenario:
    JMS -> PI -> File
    We have a local Websphere MQ Queue Manager and the follwoing configuration in our sender adapter:
    Transport-Protocol: WebSphere MQ (non JMS)
    Message-Protocol: JMS 1.x
    ConnectionFactory: com.ibm.mq.jms.MQQueueConnectionFactory
    Java-class Queue: com.ibm.mq.jms.MQQueue
    CCSID: 819
    Transport: TCP/IP
    JMS-conform: WebSphere MQ (non JMS)
    In the local queue manager the messages (XML-Messages with header <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>) have characterSet 819 (ISO-8859-1). That's correct. You can open the files with XMLSpy and it works.
    When we receive the messages by our JMS Sender Adapter all the character seems to be in UTF-8 and I don't know why. All the special characters are wrong cause the header of the XML-message shows ISO-8859-1 but all the signs are decoded in UTF-8.
    In the other direction (JMS Receiver adapter, File -> PI - JMS) we have the same problem.
    We create a ISO-8859-1 message in mapping (and it is really ISO-8859-1) and send it via JMS Receiver Adapter to the local message queue. But there the message arrives in UTF-8 encoding. I don't understand this.
    Does anybody know what could be the cause for this?
    Does the JMS adapter convert the messages from ISO-8859-1 into UTF-8?
    Are there any parameters we have to set?
    I hope anybody has an idea what's wrong.
    Regards
    Thorsten
    Edited by: Thorsten Hautz on Oct 12, 2010 5:42 PM

    Hi,
    thanks a lot for your replies.
    our driver settings are correct (as I can see).
    I removed value 819 from CCSID, but we have the same effect.
    The messages in the local queue manager are TextMessages in XML.
    Does anybody know, if we need the standard modules (ConvertJMSMessageToBinary and ConvertBinaryToXMBMessage) in this case?
    Is it possible to set the CCSID for the message payload anywhere in the configuration?
    The CCSID in the Source tab doesn't have any influence to the encoding of the payload message, only to the header data.

  • How to set the Correlation ID in Oracle Q from JMS Adapter

    Hi,
    I'm using a JMS Adapter on my BPEL process to push messages to an Oracle instance in another machine.
    While testing, I could see that a message is posted on the Q table, but the Correlation ID is null.
    How is the correlation ID on the Q set from the adapter? IDeally I want this ID dynamic to be unique.
    Is this something st on the Invoke activity to the jms adapter, i.e., the Correlations tab, or is that
    unrelated altogether.
    Thanks,
    Ramon

    Found the solution.
    On the Invoke activity, I set the property jca.jms.JMSCorrelationID to a variable I created.
    I set my variable to string appended with sysdate to make it unique.
