Hi Experts
i am unable to understand what are the PI exceptions / Interafce exceptions.
please help me out with this issue .

Hi,
PI exceptions / Interafce exceptions are nothing but the error thrown during msg exchange between source and target system..
You can configure alerts to capture exceptions raised by:
1. Adapter Engine - errors in the communication channel/msg monitoring
2. Integration Engine - errors from the integration engine i.e. mapping routing steps etc
3. Business Process Engine - errors raised in your BPM

View Interface exception-OPM

Hi,
When we create an OPM Warehouse, there are some conditions to fulfill the creation of virtual sub inventory automatically by the system.
1. Three or Four characters followed by a colon for the Inventory organization Name.
2. Inv Org should be a process enabled and attached to a plant Organization which has a valid Company set with Fiscal policy.
But the system also validates the PO Box character length that is defined in the Inventory Org Location definition.
When the character length exceeds four, then the Virtual Sub inventory is not created automatically.
So what we did is, we assigned the location to the Inv Organization, once the system created the virtual sub inventory.
Since we have to assign a PO Box number having five characters we followed the above step.
In the other way initially we defined the PO Box number to four characters(Dummy),once the virtual sub inventory is created, we changed the dummy PO Box number to five characters(which is required) and run the Synchronize all Process Inventory Organizations program.
When we run the View Interface exception report we are able to view an exception for the changed location as shown in the report.
Even after this exception we are able to perform all transactions normally without any error like Inventory receiving, transfers and etc for the warehouse (Inv Org)
Please help us,whether we may face any impact in future for this Exception Message.

Cde can throw an excpetion... but, a method in Cde that is overriding a another method (in this case doinSmith() from Abc) that does not throw an exception, the method cannot throw an excpetion either. When overriding a method, the parameter list must be the same as the method it is overriding, the method cannot be more private than the method it is overriding, the return type must be the same, and any exceptions throw by that class must be of the same class or a subclass of the same class that is throw by the parent method.

I am doing a scenario in which I am integrating R3-XI-SUS for PO,PO Response, ASN,GR and INVOICE.
In which PO, PO Response and ASN working fine but when I am sending GR from R3 to SUS it is coming to XI correctly but it is received in SUS with error i SXMB_MONI it is showing following error:-

What does this error means?

As far as I understand this issue is not related to XI. Itseems there is some configuration mistakes from the SUS side.

Incompatible with interface - Exception in Adapter Module

I have a custom adapter module deployed on PI 7.1. Once i post any message, i am getting below exception in CC monitoring.
Message processing failed. Cause: java.lang.ClassCastException: class $Proxy3125_10002:sap.com/ClearModule_EAR @ com.sap.engine.boot.loader.ResourceMultiParentClassLoader @ 6daa7537 @ alive incompatible with interface com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleLocal:library:com.sap.aii.af.lib @ com.sap.engine.boot.loader.ResourceMultiParentClassLoader @ 15d75e80 @ alive
I used NWDS 7.1 to develop the module.
the EJB is stateless.
Can any one have any idea about the exception.

i forgot to modify the four interfaces' name when i create the EJB, ie my Bean class is "ss.cod.de.EjdBean", then the "Remote Interface" & "Home Interface" are setted respectively and defaultly as "ss.cod.de.EjdRemote" & u201Css.cod.de.EjdHomeu201D, the u201CLocal Interfaceu201D & "LocalHome Interface" are the same to the two interface above.
everything was well while i rectified all the interfaces as "com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleHome", "com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleLocal", "com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleLocalHome" and "com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleRemote".

Java Native Interface Exception Access Violation

Ok i have two programs One that works and one that dosn't
the one that works is a javaMethod that calls a C method. the C method then uses a callsback on a java method that returns an array of integers. that works fine
the Second program uses the same c side code and the same Java Methods from the original are implemented into a program i have that runs a Jframe. anyways when i run this program the Native side does all of its tasks but when its done it crashes Evrything

and the array for the C side prints out just fine

allocates that many BYTES using malloc. This looks
bogus to me.I agree.
Maybe something like this would be better:

Exception while running a client to connect to a Corba Interface

We are using MM-SUS scenario with SRM 5.0 and ECC 6.0 as the backend.
We have an issue while sending the purchase order from the MM to the SUS system.
The PO reaches the SUS system and our SXMB_MONI shows the following error message :
An error occured within an XI interface: Exception occurredE:BBP_PD:058 -Enter a currency E:BS:002 -"Create" is not allowed (SUS Confirmation XXXXXXX ) Programm:
This is happening for some POs and DS's(SA), the reason for which we are not able to find.
There is a OSS note Note 817380 - You cannot create a scheduling agreement release in SUS, with the same error text but these corrections already exist in our system.
Can anyone faced the same issue?
Can anyone give any links/suggestions/OSS for this particular issue?

2102 web interface unavailable.

Hello,
I've been trying to configure my 2102 via the web interface, except I can not reach said interface. I can ping the IP it has been assigned by my current, wireless router, however the IP itself lead to nothing in my browser, and nor does it do anything once /advanced has been appended. I'm at a bit of a loss, as even if it's connected straight to my laptop, without the other router, it doesn't answer at all.
Any thoughts?

Done, done and done, and to no avail. I do not know why. I see on my router that its assigned address is 192.168.1.197, therefore I went for 192.168.1.197/advanced as the manual stated, to a 'page not available' error.

Recommend me an audio interface

I need an audio interface - PCI, Firewire or USB-2 - with a bunch of inputs and outputs (min. 6 in, 4 out), a couple of universal XLR/minijack input jacks with good pre-amps and, here's the clincher, separate level controls for headphones and monitor output.
Does anyone know of anything that suits my needs?

I agree, I would stay away from M-Audio and definitely from Digidesign. I really want to recommend Metric Halo and the RME Fireface, but they are both out of your budget and do not give you separate headphone and monitor knobs on the physical interface (except the ULN2 which is limited in i/o options).
I would look into Presonus first, and MOTU second. I think the converters on the Presonus interfaces are slightly better. But MOTU interfaces are pretty solid and have good drivers.

Exception in Message Monitoring when failed message is cancelled

Hi All,
I need some info regarding this.
In message monitoring a message from Sender A to Sender B fails and gets into "waiting" mode.
When I cancel this message, I immediately recieve an Exception message from Sender B to Sender A. I have not done any specific configuration for this.
This happens as many times as I cancel the message. I receive one exception message from the reciever to sender for one failed and cancelled message.
I am working on PI 7.1 and recently the system was upgraded to Service Pack 09. Has somebody faced this or can throw any light on this?

This issue only ocuured for partner 0015111411, but we tried with other partner ID and those messages are processed sucessfully and PO is created.
I have a doubt that, is there functionality in proxy to compare the country with partner in SRM system. Could please anyone help me one the same.

This is a standard proxy. I'm not sure how to debug the proxy with payload. Could you please tell me the steps.
