Picture too large

After the new programming interface loaded, my screen is now too large. Specifically, the picture is too wide. Any ideas? It was perfect and I didn't change anything.

Press the # button on your remote until the picture is the right size.

  • Picture too large for 20" Flat Panel display

    Mac Pro, CTO 2 x 2.66 Ghz dual-core Intel Xenon with 20" flat panel display.
    Running OSX 10.6.3
    All of a sudden, yesterday, the picture became too big for the screen. Bottom, top, and sides of display are all off screen. Moving cursor to edge moves the picture so that you can get to edge of picture. Display enlarges after login. I have had windows hide the top menu bar so that the menu bar can not be accessed. I have had windows get so large that the red, yellow, and green buttons could not be accessed as well as the resize location at bottom right. Had to shutdown by holding down the on button on the computer. The resolution of the monitor is now lower. I am using 1680 x 1050 resolution, but changing to lower resolutions does not solve problem.
    Is it a software problem, or is the monitor going bad? What can I do?

    That fixed it! I had forgotten all about that feature. I must have done it accidentally with the mouse. Thank you very much!

  • Picture too Large for Screen

    Is there a way to adjust the cable box so that the picture adjusted properly to fit the screen?  Currently I have a Phillips 30 inch Widescreen HD tv and certain channels dont fit the screen.  (ESPN News QVC Fox Business) .   The Tv does not have a strecth or zoom feature, I looked in the manual.

    What do you have your 4:3 override set to?  Try setting it to "OFF".  This will output in whatever your HD resolution is set to with "pillars" for SD content.  The other thing is what do you have the output resolution set to?  My guess is that your 30" set has a native resolution at  720p (or near that).  If you are set for 1080i output it may be the scaler in your TV causing the image over the screen size issue.

  • Pictures are too large to share

    I jsut received this photoshop program as a christmas gift and just was able ot finally figure out how to edit an image. I now wanted to save it and share it on facebook but it is telling me I can't because the file size is too large. How do I save it or compress it smaller so I can share it on facebook or send it as an email? Help please

    If you wish to do this for bulk of files use File->Process Multiple Files option and resize in one go all your images. Make sure you do not overwrite your originals in case you do need to keep them.
    Also when you share via  Elements Organizer it also gives option to share in specific size.
    Thanks,
    Garry

  • TS3899 my recoverable mailbox wont stop. it seems i sent an email containing too uch or too large of pictures. how can I stop it

    my recoverable mailbox won't stop. It seems I sent an email containing too many photos or too large, it will not stop attempting to send.

    Posting this as it took me forever to find the fix.  No one with my carrier, Apple etc. seemed to know of the fix or for that matter even recognize that it was an issue. Hopefully this will help someone else.  This is for Exchange 2010
    Log on to the Exchange server hosting OWA
    start run cmd, right click on the cmd and choose run as adminsitrator
    cd C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\
    appcmd.exe set config -section:system.webServer/serverRuntime /uploadReadAheadSize:"16000000" /commit:apphost
    appcmd.exe set config "Default Web Site" -section:system.webServer/serverRuntime /uploadReadAheadSize:"16000000" /commit:apphost
    restart IIS
    Note that 1600000 should be the size of the allowed email in bytes.

  • (413) Request Entity too large intermittent error

    I have page in a SharePoint 2013 website which is viewed over https. The page has several input fields including two file upload controls. I am trying to upload a sample picture less than 1MB for each of the controls.
    I am calling a BizTalk WCF service on Submit. Sometimes, when I try to submit I get ‘413 Request Entity Too Large'. This error happens intermittently though because if I try submitting the same data a number of times, it fails sometimes and works other times.
    The binding settings for the service are set in code (not in Web.Config) as shown below ...
    var binding = RetrieveBindingSetting();
    var endpoint = RetrieveEndPointAddress(“enpointAddress”);
    var proxy = new (binding, endpoint);
    proxy.Create(request);
    public BasicHttpBinding RetrieveBindingSetting()
    var binding = new BasicHttpBinding
    MaxBufferPoolSize = 2147483647,
    MaxBufferSize = 2147483647,
    MaxReceivedMessageSize = 2147483647,
    MessageEncoding = WSMessageEncoding.Text,
    ReaderQuotas = new System.Xml.XmlDictionaryReaderQuotas
    MaxDepth = 2000000,
    MaxStringContentLength = 2147483647,
    MaxArrayLength = 2147483647,
    MaxBytesPerRead = 2147483647,
    MaxNameTableCharCount = 2147483647
    Security =
    Mode = BasicHttpSecurityMode.Transport,
    Transport = { ClientCredentialType = HttpClientCredentialType.Certificate }
    return binding;
    I have also set the uploadReadAheadSize in applicationHost.config file on IIS as by running the command below, as suggested here ...
    appcmd.exe set config "sharepoint" -section:system.webserver/serverruntime /uploadreadaheadsize:204800 /commit:apphost
    Nothing I do seems to fix this issue so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas?
    Thanks

    Sounds like it's not a SharePoint problem, does the page work correctly if you don't call the BizTalk WCF service? And what happens if a console app is calling the WCF service independently of SharePoint, does it fail then as well? In both cases, it would
    limit the troubleshooting scope to the WCF service, which gets you a step further.

    but if I run the same query in excel add in, I am just getting 20 records . wondering why I am getting this error in obiee . Does any one encountered the same issue ?
    Thanks In advance,

    Well if you want to export in I think you have to manually do it.
    The workaround it to open your aperture library by right clicking it and show contents...
    Then go into your project right click show contents...
    In here there are sub folders on dates that the pictures were added to those projects. If you open the sub folder and search for your pictures name it should be in that main folder.
    You can just copy it out as you would any normal file to any other location.
    Voila you have manually exported out your file.
    There is a very similar post that has been close but again you can't export the original file that you are working on - FYI http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2075419

  • Images too large on desktop

    I shoot photos with a fairly high resolution; the images are usually about 3mb each. When I set a photo to be the desktop image, it is way too large for my desktop; much of the photo is off-screen. I have tried cropping, exporting as a smaller file and then importing that, etc., they all have problems, plus take way too long.
    Is there an easy way to get the large photo to fit on the desktop properly?

    Have you tried cropping the photos to the same size ratio or pixel dimensions as the monitor?
    TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
    I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
    Note: There's now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

  • How do I open a project in CS6 when it's apparently become too large (1.68 GB) to load?

    I have a project that was recently sent back to me by someone who was working on the audio. When it was sent to me it was around 217 MB. After working on the project for a few more days before sending it out for color correction and additional audio work, I'm all of a sudden unable to load the project. My guess is that it has become too large to open, because now it is 1.68 GB. I don't know how that happened. I haven't applied any additional effects or brought in more media. All I've done is make trims to the picture and merged 3 sequences. I'm trying to figure out how I can open the project and, if I do need to make it smaller in order to continue working on it, is there a way to do so without losing the work that I've recently done? Thanks!

    I'm trying to "import select sequences" from that project into a new project but it won't load. The loading bar is stopping about a quarter of the way through, same as it did when I recently tried to load the project normally. The loading bar has been sitting there at a quarter full for about 20 minutes now. A friend of mine tried to load the project (I sent him a zip file through Dropbox.) onto his computer yesterday and couldn't get it to open either.

  • HT201077 The photos I have transferred to my PC via Photo Stream are too large for me to share with friends.  How do I reduce the size and how do I share them with friends and family only?

    I have the latest iPad update on my Ipad 3 as of September 23, 2012.
    I havejust  taken a series of photographs with my iPad that I would like to share with family and specific friends ONLY.  I have set up the photos I want to share in Photo Stream.  I have synced them to my PC via iCloud.  Everything is fine except, the pictures are far too large to share ... and I don't know what exactly I am supposed to do in order to give my family access to these Photo Stream pictures.
    How do I reduce the size of photo stream pictures once they are on my PC via iCloud?
    What exactly do I do to give access to the photos on Photo Stream to specific people?
    How can I share the videos I have taken with my iPad?
    Many thanks for your attention.  I look forward to your reply.

    Select your photo/s.
    File menu > Export..
    Kind: JPEG
    JPEG Quality: Maximum
    Include: [√] Title and keywords
                [√] Location information
    Size: Full Size
    File Name: Use filename
    Select one of the photos and open in with Preview.
    Tools menu > Show Inspector
    Under the second button choose IPTC and it is all there.
    Sorry for all the confusion.

  • Attached images display too large

    when using mail in os 10.4, if someone sends me a message with pictures attached, they are at a size that you can see the whole picture when you scroll down in the message. if i forward that email to someone, the pictures display too large and you cannot see the whole image in the message. is there a setting for this somewhere?
    thanks

    Ah thanks, maybe I was experimenting with too small of pics!?
    Hmm, interesting...
    Mail will remebember the size and will automatically use it the next time you attach an image if you forget to manually change it back.
    And if the last setting was small, the menu may be there, but will have no effect since you cannot Scale up!
    Yes, it works only for downsizing.
    Also, it seems that if the pic is in quoted nesting the size setting has no effect!?
    On Mac OS X 10.5 and later it works regardless of quotation. If it does not on Mac OS X Tiger, it must be a bug that was fixed later.

  • IPhoto says print too large on cover

    on the cover of my picture book on iPhoto it keeps giving me the red triangle exclamation point even when there is no print in the box. I am trying to print the cover title in Nahum brush script in 24 or smaller even and it won't let me. I deleted all print from the one picture cover in the box and it still says too large with no print. I am ready to order right now and don't know how to fix this. Please help ASAP.
    I want the largest print I can get in the box under the one cover picture in journal style with nanum brush script.  Hope this makes sense.
    thank you,
    JP

    That is a warning - not a fatal error
    BUT if you print and the results are bad there is no guarantee since you went ahead
    Before ordering your book preview it using this method - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1040 - and save the resulting PDF for reference - the delivered book will match it.
    My best guess is that you will have to do a much smaller point size - start at 12 and see if that works - it is it ok increase slowly until you get the warning and then back down one step

  • On apple tv why are photos too large on slideshow

    I set up album in my iphoto,
    selected it on apple tv
    why are some photos too large and chopping off top of photos?

    When you first sync photos to your iPod, or everytime you add new photos, iTunes goes through a process of optimizing your photos for the iPod before actually sync'ing. You can see it countdown on the screen. The results are kept in the "iPod Photo Cache" folder.
    I was under the impression that this optimizing was more a process of collecting together 25 thumbnails and putting them together in a single file together so that it enabled the ipod to show 25 pictures at once with the option to select one.. Are you sure the thumbnails are actually altered in any way.

  • [SOLVED] xrandr: HDMI output too small or too large to fit screen

    I'm trying to connect my PC to the TV with an HDMI cable. But I'm having trouble with xrandr.
    xrandr lists 1920x1080 as the largest mode for HDMI and 1280x1024 as number two. So I tried both of these:
    xrandr --output LVDS1 --off --output HDMI2 --mode 1920x1080
    xrandr --output LVDS1 --off --output HDMI2 --mode 1280x1024
    But the first is about 1-2cm too large to fit the screen (both at the top and on the sides) and the second one is too small. Is there anything I can do about it?
    PS: Also 1920x1080 output is very sluggish and there is video tear when I move windows around. The PC is a ThinkPad X220.

    Thanks. I set my TV picture format to "unscaled".
    The output is still sluggish. I would have thought an i5-2540M would be able to handle this in a more responsive manner.
