Pictures taken with the instant camera short cut on the iPod touch 4G do not show up in the camera roll

My girlfriend has an iPod touch 4G. She recently installed iOS 5 and is now having problems with the camera. When she takes a picture after launching the camera from the lock screen, the photo never appears in her camera roll. The photo appears in camera roll preview, but not in the camera roll itself. Anyone else having this problem or know of any fixes?
UPDATE: My iPhone 3GS appears to do the same thing.

Try deleting the iPod Photo Cache folder. For is location see:
iTunes: Photo sync creates iPod Photo Cache folder

I am trying to download an app for my ipod touch, but its not showing up in the app store. Its the icess app for controlling a bluetooth helicopter

I recently got my daughter an iCess RC helicopter. It works via bluetooth and can be used with Apple and Android devices. Are you positive these podcasts are configured to sync to your iPod Touch? Have you double checked the configuration for podcasts from under the iPod's Podcasts configuration tab in iTunes?
To access this tab, plug your iPod in and click on its name from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes. This will bring you to the iPod's Summary tab. Locate the Podcasts tab along the top and select it. Here you can choose how and what podcasts sync to your iPod.

My ipod touch 4g does not want to complete the restore process

alright my ipod touch 4g does not want to complete the restore process like it does go through but at the last min, it doesnt want to complete i left it there untouch for 2-3 hours and still hasnt complete it . i tried almost anything i can think of. any help ?

If you look at the status bar at the top of iTunes, what stage does the restore stop at?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
    1.    Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
    2.    Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
    3.    Restart your router.
    4.    Reset the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings)
    5.    Restore the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Restore)

IPod Touch (2nd Generation) is showing up as a camera in my 64bit Windows 7 Laptop

One week ago, I synced my iPod into my computer and added some videos and music to it. This evening, (12-4-12) I downloaded an album and wanted to sync it into my iPod. The iPod would not connect to my laptop, and only show up as a camera. It would not show in iTunes at all. Anything I've looked up so far in Apple Support was without results. I've uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, changed and reinstalled multiple drivers. I've tried using cloud on another computer, but that computer runs iTunes 10. The name of the iPod is CMTV, as opposed to Apple iPod.

Have you tried:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

Ipod Touch 1st Gen not starting up past the apple logo

When I start it up i see the apple logo for about 15sec then it turns off. I've tried putting it into safe mode by holding the Power and Home button for 30sec but all it does is turn on and off twice then nothing happens.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

In your iTunes Library, check the songs to see if they are set to Remember playback position. If they are, turn that off and Sync the iPod with iTunes for these new changes to take effect.

When i restart my ipod touch it does not bring me to the homescreen?

I was updating my iPod Touch 4g to iOS 6, then when it was updating, the loading bar stopped. it never continued. so i restarted it, by pressing the sleep/wake button and the homescreen button for some seconds. then the apple logo appeared and i let go. then the apple logo disappeared, then the screen became light blue, i did it again, it became dark blue, and i did it again, it became white. what's happening?

You interrupted the update which corrupted the operating system of your iPod. It is normal for the update to takea long time. There have been people saying it took 2 hours to update. It is normal for the progress bar to sit at 0 for a while before it starts moving. The only way to recover your iPod since the operating system is corrupted is to do a DFU restore.

Once the iPod is in DFU mode, iTunes will say that the iPod needs to be restored. This is normal. Select restore on the Summary page for your iPod in iTunes.

IPod is connected but not showing up on the Device option?

I had just used it the day before and uploaded some new songs to it and when I loaded my AC/DC album into my libray and then ejected it and plugged in my ipod nano it charges but the Device option doesn't come up to sync new songs ?

Hi, Im sorry just to add on to this discussion but I couldnt figure out how to start a new discussion and I am going mad! I have a new ipod because my last one was stolen and I have plugged it in and my PC wont recognise it. I think that is because my old ipod is the only one my computer will accept. Can that be right? It said the hardware device had been detected and then it said that it was troubled and it simply did not work. Now it is plugged in and not at all recognised in my computer anywhere. Can any one help this clueless girl who simply wants to listen to music again?

My iPod touch backlight will not stay on and the touch screen is not responding?

My iPod Touch 3rd Generation got wet. I was able to restore it, but the backlight does not stay lit for more than 1 second and my touchscreen does not appear to be working. Do you have any ideas? Do you know where I could send it to get refurbished at a reasonable price?
