Pie chart out of check boxes table

Hi,
Another thing that is bugging me! I have a few tables with check boxes. I would like to make a pie chart out of the false/true conditions of the check boxes in the table. My pie chart always results in a 100% value, no matter what the check boxes values are.
Any idea?

If you attempt to chart the checkboxes directly, you'll get either 100% or as many equal slices as you have boxes checked (eg. with seven checked boxes, you should see seven equal slices, each labeled "14%"). Probably not what you want.
My interpretation (an example):
You have a table with 10 checkboxes, in cells B2:B11, 7 of them checked and 3 unchecked.
You want a pie chart that will show the portion checked (70%) and the portion unchecked (30%).
To get this, you'll need to generate some numbers.
In C2, enter: =1*B2
When you click Accept (or press return or tab) you will get a blue triangle alerting you that "The formula uses a Boolean in place of a number." Click the Ignore button.
Fill the formula down to C11. As you do so, you should see a 1 in the cell beside each checked box and a 0 in the cell beside each unchecked box.
In C13, enter: =SUM(C2:C11)
In C14, enter: =10-C13
In B13, enter: Checked
In B14, enter: Unchecked
Select B13..C14, then choose the pie chart from the list under the Chart button.
If the resulting chart shows 100%, click the box mentioned in Ashka's post.

Probably because it is a smart object connected back to the Numbers document.
If you want it purely as a graphic, try copying the chart in Numbers switching to Preview.app and going command n which will make it a pdf file, then copy that and paste that into Pages. But it will no longer be a live chart.

I/O field grayed out after check box checked ( Dynpro)

Hi ,
I have dynpro dialog screen with several check boxes linked with input/output field
When check box is checked the I/O field is editable when check box is empty I/O field should be grayed out.
I am trying to find the way how checking the check box can trigger the change of attribute of I/O field.
The IO field should be gray out after checking check box without hitting enter or any other button.
Please advice

Thank you for your answer. I was missing Functional code of my check boxes.
Now i have still issue my I/O field do not turns in gray ( only output) In loop
I dide like you said ( this is example from my PAI module user-command)
when 'CB1'.
      loop at screen .
        if screen-name = 'LT_FORMAT_IO'
          and lt_format_cb is initial.
          screen-input = '0'.
          screen-invisible = '1'.
          modify screen.
        endif.
      endloop..
Once screen is displayed again , the IO field stll remains non grayed out.

Multiple Report print out on Check box click

I am using version apex_3.2.
I have created Report and define check box in report. i want to give print functionality on check box. As i tick multiple invoices from report and click on print link defined below to the report, Selected Invoices should be printed. How i can do this?

Updation/insertion of multiple records simultaneously using check box

I am using Jdev11.1.1.2.0 version. I have the following scenario.
There is a table in the view.At run time, I need to select multiple records and update those records in the database. So i took check Box as a column in the table.*(I did not associate check box to any of the attributes (columns) in the table.)* After running the application, I selected multiple records using checkbox and submitting them. The check box is returning value as 'false' even for the selected records also instead of 'true'. Because of this we are facing the issue in updating only the selected records. Please suggest your valuable inputs.

Please let me know if it is it possible to associate a checkbox to any of the attributes while dragging and dropping the table in the view and update the records?
I tried selecting the option 'Row Selection' while dragging and dropping the table and changed the property RowSelection->multiple. But it is not serving the purpose of updating multiple records.
Please suggest if there is any other solution to update multiple records.

Hi,
if you added checkboxes to a table, then at runtime the checkbox is stamped, which means that a call to this.getSbc1().isSelected() just returns the state of the last checkbox that is rendered. I have no idea how to set up a pie chart for tracking spending with categories

This is what I want to do to help me track my credit card spending.
I want to make a Numbers sheet where i can jot down how much money i spent on a item, and what category that item would go with (example, food, electronics, gas, so on).
and then i want to have a pie chart that will show much how much money i'm spending in each category and how much of a percentage of the total each category takes up of the whole.
I have no idea how to set this up in a sheet. I tried typing it in a few times and every time i go to make a pie chart, it never shows me any of the results i want to see.
can someone please help me set up a sheet to be able to get this information to display correctly in a pie chart?

Create a table with the categories and the data (for now you can make up the data):
Now add a chart from the Charts menu in the toolbar:
Now click the "Add Chart Data" button just below the chart.
Now select data (from column B) in the table. Last trick is to click the menu at the bottom-left corner of the window and change the selection to "Plot rows as series" :
Now add formulas to the table to properly summarize the data from your data entry table using the sumif() function.

How tdo you disable a check box

I'm been trying to dynamically disable (grey out) a check box using
SET_ITEM_PROPERTY('checkbox name', ENABLED, PROPERTY_FALSE);
This is not working and when I display the value of ENABLED using GET_ITEM_PROPERTY it shows TRUE.
Can anyone tell me how to dynamically grey out a check box?

Whatever u have written is perfectly all right. Only thing can be checked is, do you have 2 items with same name if 2 different blocks. if so then provide name of block in Set_item_property statement. This technique works.

Dynamic check box

Hi I need help from all java expertise, I need to create dynamic check boxes. table have the customer name, one customer have multiple locations, on selection of customer name, all the locations should be displayed with chek box option, so that the user will allocate some rebate or ajustment to a particular location. Lets assume that you got your customer information and everything is stored in a ResultSet rs
The value of the radio buttons in this case will be the customer name but you can change it
to whatever you want that way you can get the parameter accordingly to do your updates.

Here's something I threw together rq. The script is in the change event for the checkbox in the table. (Of course, you'll have to modify it to suit the names of your fields.)

I am working an assignment to assign multiple roles for multiplr user.
In selection screen we have to enter mutiple EMPNO from ..to
1) in second screen we will get the empno, First name, last name, Position,
    From date, To date, Sap user ID, Email id in the table formate with first
    column with Check box.
2) In second screen below the table I have to place the multiple roles just like in
   the step loop format and below this one Execute button should be there.
If we select the multiple employees or single employee and place the multiple roles or single roles and if I click the execute button then the multiple roles will be assigned to the multiple employees. The empno and roles will come from table and step loop to internal table and the same will pass to the BDC.
For this requirement I prepered recording for Transaction PFCG. But I can't understand how to design the second screen that table format and the step loop format. Can anybody give any idea or any coding to design the second screen.
and how to meet the requirement. This is urgent issue. Good SDN points will be reworded.

There are slight changes in the sivas code.Where is the data coming into the table.If its from a Model Node then iterate each element of the source node get that value compare and set the corresponding value in the element of the node binded to table.
Create a boolean attribute "select" in the table node and bind it to checked property of the check box.

Another way:
Go to the edit mode of the screen select the table control column you want to make it as check box and follow the menu EDIT->CONVERT->check box.
(make sure that column definition in itab/ddtab is of size 1 char)

When we are getting BAPI From ECC System. that BAPI Have nodes and Attribues...in under node we can't create "CheckBox"
attribute.
So i am doing like this.I am create on Checbox attribue out side of Node. Check Box data type is boolean.
next i am creating table ( that table having rows and columns) Right click on table-->Click on Insert GroupedColumn->again right click on nsert GroupedColumn---> Here Select Check Box.
Okay...here i am getting one problem. i have got Check boxes .But i am select check box in first row. that time all check boxes will be selected.
i need select first row check box that only first row will be selected suppose i selected second row check box that only second will be selected.

BIEE Pivot Table Pie Chart Error

When we use pivot table and views in BIEE (Measure labels in the Rows), the label of the pie chart will only display the first measure name. There are only color box no text from the second measure name.
Does any one know how to fix this issue?

Linking Pie Chart & Table to Bubble Chart Values

Hi All,
I am new to Xcelsius and I have an issue with my drilldown.
I have a Combo Box and choose Plants from this and my Bubble Chart updates according to the value in combo box.
Now I want to hover over the 'bubble' and want a Pie Chart and Table to reflect the values from that bubble. The value in the Bubble is a total and I want the Pie Chart and Table to be splits of this total - eg. Total of 50 employees but want the Pie Chart and Table to reflect splits per team.
I know the Destination Values from the Bubble Chart should be in the Pie Chart and the Drilldown should be enabled. However, the values that I want to show in the Pie Chart are different eg. Bubble Chart will say 50 but in the Pie Chart I want to see 5 segments of 10 - 50. ie. the Total of 50 split into the appropriate 5 teams. How do I create this linkage/drilldown where it takes the 50 and when I hover over this bubble, the Pie Chart shows the team split by looking up a different set of data. Have tried adding this into the drilldown area in the Pie Chart, where the source data is the split and the destination data is another area to pick up this data.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

My scenario is :
In the Combo Box, you choose an Industry.
From each industry there are 4 values.
Industry      Employees     Int FTE     Ext FTE     Total FTE
Education     5000          5     8     13
Retail          40000          15     18     33 etc.
When I choose Education from the Combo Box, in the Bubble Chart I want to see a bubble for Education at the point of 5000 (X-axis) and 13 (Y-axis). This works fine.
I now want to hover over the Education u2018bubbleu2019 and the Pie Chart will show a split between Int FTE & Ext FTE u2013 ie. 5 & 8. I have added the relevant details to the drilldown and I still can't get this to work.
Also by hovering over the bubble, I want a table to change too, that shows a breakdown of what teams the Int FTE & Ext FTE is made up from and how many employees are in each team. This data is picked up from a different destination and I not sure how we link this to the data above.
