Pipe in Expansion does not expand BAS members for all KeyRanges
Hi all,
I created a simple report to input some figures (in this case currency translation rates). I would like to add the different figures per period (BAS members of selected time period) and would like to have the different input currencies separated using the PIPE within the expansion parameters (rf. screenshot):

What I get is the following; for the first KeyRange the BAS members are listed from JAN to DEC. the other KeyRanges only show the JAN 12 times (rf. screenshot ):

Does anyone have an idea? I already tried to modify the expansion from BAS to BAS|BAS|BAS, but the result is the same.

thank you for your answer, too. Yes, this is sth. I also thought about (just add the Dimension description in a new header able. I think now it's ok.
If I would adapt the report like this I would have the next issue. I like using the pipes as they give a little bit more overview to a report (from my point of view), but I guess the functionality is not always really sophisticated.
Example: Normaly the formula next to the first cells in the headers (like EVDES) is copied to the rest of the KeyRange. If you use pipes you have different KeyRanges and I would also expect, that the formula is also copied to this Ranges, but it will not. If I have static reports (like in the example of this thread), it's quite easy to copy the formulas, so the description is also named in the other ranges.
But if you have really dynamic reports (so you do not know, how many rows will be filled) you cannot copy the formulas easily. Maybe a solution with macros might be possible, but it's not the nicest way ...

PDF created in ArcView does not appear the same for all users
PDF documents created from ArcView 9.2 with the "warm front 2" symbol in it do not appear properly on some users computer displays when opened. I have a handful of users who when they view these specific PDF's the symbol appears as a series of 4's. We are using Acrobat Pro 7.0.9 and all systems are running Windows XP Pro. In the handful of users experiencing this problem we have both laptops and desktops.
Probably did not embed the fonts in the PDF. Change the settings file to print (or press) and try again.

TOC in French version of webhelp does not expand correctly
I have a RoboHelp project (RH 8.0.2.208) created by importing an HTML Help project that I use to generate WebHelp. The HTML files, the .hhc, .hhk, .hhp files have been translated to French (from English). I have changed the language in the project settings to French (France) and I generate the WebHelp output. All appears to process correctly except the TOC does not expand and collapse correctly. Some first level entries expand with one click (as expceted), some entries only expand after other entries have been expanded, and some entries will not expand at all, and once expanded, some entries will not collapse.
I have used the same process to generate other language versions and have not had the same issue. I have been searching the forum to see if similiar issues have been reported but cannot find anthing similar.I had something a bit similar with RH 7, except it wasn't limited to one language but Firefox browsers. That problem was solved by installing the latest RH patches. You have a later version of RH and the problem is only in French, so the problem is most likely in the French help project.
What I'd do to troubleshoot it: Make spare copies of the help projects, just in case you make it worse and not better.
use a comparison tool like Beyond Compare, to compare the .hhp, .hhc and .js files between the French and English projects: any unexpected differences that are not language related? If there are unexpected differences in tags or other functional items, copy those items from the good project. Rebuild the project by opening the .hhp file.

Assuming your projects use the same file names for everything, copy the French .htm, .hhc and .hhk files into a spare copy of the English project. Open the project normally and change the language setting and help title (the .hhp should not have any other translated texts than the help title).
It can happen that a translation agency does something to the translated files, that does not work in your system. It can be very obvious in a side-by-side comparison, in a comparison tool or just Notepad, or it might be a bit more hidden like wrong character encoding. -
Cannot modify application: [dimension] does not have any members
Hi experts,
When I try to add a newly created dimension to an application, I get the error message: "[dimension] does not have any members. Validate and process members first".
I have indeed added members to the dimension and saved to the server and processed. However, I guess that the processing does not work as it should because when I process the dimension, it only goes further than "Progress (1/4)", followed by the message "The task has been successfully completed".
I would expect it to go up to "Progress (4/4)....
The backward compatibility pack has been installed.

- It's a customer install
- Same behavior in Apshell. I can "process" the dimension in Apshell but I don't think it really processes it. It still stops at step 1/4 even at Apshell
- When I add the dimension to an application, it says that the dimension does not contain any members, even in ApShell.
So to summarize: the behavior is the same in Apshell.
Can I look into any logs to see exactly what happens?

I have a WebHelp project in which the last book in the TOC
does not expand. The icon switches from closed to open, but the
contained books and topics do not appear. I see the same behavior
in IE and Firefox on Windows, and Mozilla on Linux.
The contents of the TOC up to that point are defined in
whxdata/whtdata0.xml in the generated output. In that file, the tag
for the last book (whose title is "Reference") contains a reference
to the "next" XML:

The file whtdata1.xml exists and contains the data for what
should be the contents of the "Reference" book.
Any clues for why the referenced data is not being displayed?

My trackpad is responding the click on finder, i can use multitouch but not leftclick/1 click/touch. Aswell when i go to the findertab at the bottom with the mouse, app icons Does Not expand. I had no problems with it before, but I'm very confused.
Not using any mouse pad, I have a very smooth desktop. But I just tried to use a sheet of A4 printing paper, but no result, the problem persisted.
Someone on this forum suggested, that USB3 may interfere with the magic mouse.
I have 2 LaCie HDD's about 70 cm away from the mouse, I use them on Thunderbolt. But in operation or not - the result is the same, the mouse plays up! Just now I was clicking the desktop and the mouse created a new folder!!

Forms on web Hierarchical Tree control does not expand lines
running forms 6i on windows client-server mode HTree control works OK,
but with developer server on Unix
HTree sometimes does not expand lines properly (usually at the bottom of htree control) and after such situation form is stacked
Icon usage does not make a difference.
If I will expand the whole tree at startup it seems to be working fine, but I want to show it collapsed.
Please help.It doesn't sound like this is the answer in your case, but here is a problem I had with tree icons in 6i which took me a while to figure out.
For some unknown and probably pointless reason, forms converts the tree query to uppercase before executing it. This can cause problems if the sql contains any hardcoded strings. In my case I was doing something like
decode(status,1,'red',2,'green')||icon_name
this resulted in REDicon when my icon was actually redicon.gif -
InDesign CS6, fullscreen button on controller does not expand video
I placed a video file in InDesign and when I export the video to SWF, all my other animations and transitions works. My video plays, all the other controller options work, however when I click on the full screen option, it changes the resolution of my screen but only places the video itself in the top left corner of the screen and does not expand it across the screen.
Here is what it looks like after I click the fullscreen button. Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this or how to fix it?Try to disable the hardware acceleration in the Flash Player.

Airport utility does not support base station? Help!
I cannot get base station light to turn green. Blinking amber. I upgraded to a new Verizon modem and since then the base station does not work. What can I do?
Make sure the new Verizon Modem is not also a WiFi Router, if it is then that may be your issue. If it is indeed just a Modem then your Ethernet Connection should work and your base station should be working. You said "Airport Utility does not support base station". Don't know what you meant by that. Do you have an Airport Extreme, Airport Express or a Airport TC as a Base Station? If yes, you should be able to set up your Network via Airport Utility. If the Verizon Modem is only a Modem then unplug the power from your Airport Base Station, then unplug the Power from your Verizon Modem for at least 1-minute. Plug the Modem back in and give it a moment or so, then make sure you do have an Ethernet cable going from your Verizon provided Modem to your WAN port on your Airport Base Station. Now power up your Airport Base Station and go to your Airport Utility. Find the Base Station and click on Edit... Make sure your Network Name is correct, your Password is Correct, your Security method is correct (example: WPA2 Personal). If all correct see if your blinking Amber light is now Solid Green.

I have a late 2008 white macbook. I have a mini dvi to hdmi adapter, and a hdmi cord. My cannot get my MB to detect an external monitor. Nothing happens when plugged in. Also, my display settings does not have an option for mirroring or arrangment tab
Yeah, I'm having the same exact problem - It seems that the thunderbolt minidisplay port is only able to output the analog VGA signal, not the digital signal to support DVI and HDMI. This is a bug that came up after installing 10.7.1. I bought my macbook air with 10.7 on it, upgraded it to 10.7.1 as soon as I got it, so I have never been able to use hdmi or dvi with my macbook air. This is an extremely frustrating problem for me, I used HDMI on a daily basis with my PC. I have spent many hours at the genius bar running diagnostic tests so Apple can get as much information as possible to create a fix for this problem. I have been emailing tech support for 3 or so weeks now, they keep saying that they are working on a fix and it should be out soon, but 10.7.2 has come and gone and I still have no HDMI functionality with my MacBook Air!

Onlive TV listing does not show HD listing for series when I try to create a recording
It happened now already several times the the "Online TV Listing" does not show HD listing for series when I try to create a recording. Instead, it will show two series options in SD. Is this to make people use less bandwidth?
Here is what I am doing:

select ...........Record A Show
I type search e.g. Nathan for You
I click on ........Search
and I select ......Click here to Show Details
Then I get to chose from 2 (the same) SD channels.

This happens not only to this particular channel!
I remember it used to show also the HD channels.
The only way to schedule in HD is to find the listing in the TV schedule, at the right time and there you will get the
correct choices for both SD & HD.
Can this be fixed?

Hi all, I upgraded my MBP to Lion , but on the screen where i need to type my password, click on my photo and it does not appear the place for me to type my password and it stay stuck there. Can anyone solve this problem for me?
Reboot the machine holding Command and r keys down, you'll boot into Lion Recovery Partition
In there will be Disk Utility, use that to select your Lion OS X Partition and Repair Permissions.
After that is done reboot the machine and see if you can log in.
If not repeat the above steps to get into Lion Recovery, get online and reinstall Lion again, it will overwrite the installed version and hopefully after that it wil work.
Reboot and try again.
If not follow my steps to create a Snow Leopard Data Recovery drive, then option boot from it and grab a copy of your files off the machine.
Then reinstall all your programs onto the external drive like setting up a new machine, then use Disk Utility to erase the entire internal boot drive (select the drive media on the far left, not the partiton slightly indented) format Option: GUID , 1 partition OS X Extended and then use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone the external to the newly formatted internal drive. Once that is finished reboot and disconnect the external drive.
Once you go that, boot into Snow Leopard and update to 10.6.8, use the AppStore and option click on Purchases and download Lion again and install.
Lots of work, but there is no Lion disks.

I had created one purcharse using ME21N transaction, that it had one service and imputation on cost center (CeCo)
I had created document using ML81N and accepting.
I can lookup posting document FI and it is correct.
I can lookup posting document profit center cost
But it did not create posting on COPA. Because It did not have configuration or specified OKB9: Cost Ctr (KSTAR) assigned - > Cost element master (KOSTL).
When I am excuting this report S_ALR_87013611 - Cost Centers: Actual/Plan/Variance.
I are seing income as statistical posting under cost centres.
Cost centres cannot have 'real' income postings. It is correct.
Because Cost Ele category is equal “12” and (Cost Ele category 11 or 12) are posted AS statistical on cost centers.
Finally:
Bussines need that "posted as statistical on cost centers" => it should create on COPA.
We are thinking that we can using a cycle in KEU5 transacction.
But whem we are executing transaction KEU5 son it get this message:
– It does not found senders (emisor) for segment.
Unfortunately, I am not found one note oss.
Could you check this and recommend the best option? or could you recommend any note oss, please?

I am thinking about your recomendation about using substitucion (OKC9) to derivate the PAOBJNR as reael account assignment.
It will probably be good idea but Step(Okc9) does not derivate or move characteristics to RKE_GET_ACCTNR Function. Because we dont not know this characteristics.
We had reviwed cost line items for cost center and we are seeing that all document are Material Document and this document dont have fields to derivate characteristics.

This process does not appear to work for me. I'm running 10.8.3. I created a new user for a guest staying with me. They have gone now and I am attempting to either change the password or delete the user. It won't allow me to choose the user I created. I am logged in as myself and it states that I am an "Admin". The user I'm attempting to change is listed as a "standard" user and there is a white checkmark inside an orange circular background on the user pic in the list of users.
Can someone help me? I am having a hard time believing that OSx will allow me to create users and allow them use of my computer and it's drives, yet it will not allow me to change the password so I can monitor what they might have been doing while logged on? What if this were my child? This guest left under sketchy circumstances, and I'd really like to be able to ensure they were not using my computer to do illegal things or to have illegal communications.
Any help would be appreciated. (It's odd that it was so simple to "create" a user and set a password for them.......but it's complicated or a little known process to reverse.

The second screen shot shows it allowing me to select the "Guest" user (highlighted in blue). However when I click on the user "Orion" nothing happens. It will not change to highlight that user.
