PIX EasyVPN and viewing logged in users

I've got a PIX 515 with about 10 different EasyVPN users defined via the vpngroup command. Is there any way to see which of these users are logged in at a given time? Another way of asking this...is there any way to see which vpngroup is active at a given time?
I have tried the show crypto ipsec sa and the show isakmp sa, but those only give me IP addresses. It'd be nice to see what vpngroup mapping those IP addresses were using. Is there a way to do this?

Off the top of my head I can't think of a single command has this. Would have to lab it up. But if you want to see what is connected to differnt groups by IP. You can create differnt pools and bind those pools to the differnt vpn group.

  • DART Extract and View Logs

    Issues with DART 2.4/5   We have hundreds of thousands of DART files and the extract and view logs transactions timeout.   For the past 10 years or so we were able to ignore the use of the logs (because we could not open the transactions!) ... by confirming the record counts with custom reconciliation programs and reviewing the record count in the view joblog against the extract information via the extract browser.   The new version of DART does not provide the file record count in the joblog like the previous versions of DART have done.  We just created a new instance and the logs work for now .. but as we are a very large company ... and we have to DART our data each month for more than a thousand companies ... the number of files will soon cause the log transactions to timeout just like in our other instances.  Is there way to rebuild the log (TXW_DIR2 and TXW_VWLOG2) to remove any deleted files (we manage our files in the UNIX directory and not through the log transactions).  Wouldn't it make sense to allow filtering of what directory we want to view the log for???  Instead of trying to list the everything?

    To use the logged-in user list feature, you must configure AAA clients to perform authentication and accounting using the same protocoleither TACACS+ or RADIUS.

  • WD ABAP and PORTAL: Logging the user out

    I have a requirement where I need to logout the user of my web dynpro abap application(the application resides in portal).
    I need to log him out of portal.
    How would I do that?
    Thanks in advance

    Deleting the Authentication in Logoff
    When you log off from some applications, the authentication of the user may also have to be reset in the browser, which means that a new authentication is needed when the application is called again. If basic authentication is used for the logon, this information can only be deleted in the browser with Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 and higher.
    document.execCommand( 'ClearAuthenticationCache' );
    If an SSO2 cookie is used for the authentication, you can delete the cookie with JavaScript:
    function DelSso2Cookie(sName,sPath)
        var sso2Domain = location.hostname;
        if (location.hostname.indexOf(".")>0)
          sso2Domain = location.hostname.substr(location.hostname.indexOf(".")+1);
        p="";
        if(sPath)p=" path="sPath";";
          document.cookie = sName"=0; expires=Fri, 31 Dec 1999 23:59:59 GMT;"p + "domain="sso2Domain";";
    You can also include this JavaScript in logoff pages.

  • What is a "logged in user" on the "Active Sessions" report in CF8 Server Monitor?

    I was looking at the Active Sessions Report (The Chart View) and saw I have more "logged in users" than "active sessions".
    I had expected them to be nearly the same.    It's on our Intranet where I log users in (using cflogin and cfloginuser) at the begining of their session and users should be logged when the session ends.
    I couldn't find a detailed explaination of what a "logged in user" means.   There is a chance that the same user is logged into a nested application as well as the Intranet, but I don't think that is what I'm seeing.
    I also don't see a way to get a list of what CF is counting as a logged in user.  I can only see a way to get the total count.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Jeff

    Thank you Michael for the reply, but I don't think that is the issue.
    When a user opens their browser on the intranet, a session begins and they are logged in (using the cflogin and cfloginuser).    If they close their browser, the session should hang around for 20 min. (per the server setting).   I am assuming this is still considered an "Active Session" since I can see this behavior in the report.
    At first, the Active Sessions and Logged In Users are exactly the same.   When the sessions start to time out, the active sessions are reduced,  but the Logged In Users remain the same.    Then,  after a while, they start to move together.  So I have more Logged In Users than Active Sessions.
    I left the Server Monitor open last night and for most of the night, I had 0 sessions, but 57  "logged in users".   This morning, as people opened their browsers, the Active Sessions and Logged In Users moved together.   The gap of 57 looks consistent.
    It looks like people are remaining logged in after their session ended.
    I am really looking for a detailed explaination of "active session" and/or "logged in user" as used in the server monitor.  It would be really nice to find a way to list the details about each item counted in the "logged in user" and not just the total count.
    Thanks Again for your reply.

  • Issues in persisting dynamic entity and view objects using MDS

    Hi All,
    I'm trying to create dynamic entity and view objects per user session and to persist these objects throughout the session, I'm trying to use MDS configurations(either file or Database) in adf-config.xml.
    I'm facing following two errors while trying to run the app module:
    1. MDS error (MetadataNotFoundException): MDS-00013: no metadata found for metadata object "/model/DynamicEntityGenModuleOperations.xml"

    I've gone through the following links which talks about the cause of the issue, but still can't figure out the issue in the code or the config file. Please help if, someone has faced a similar issue.

    Hi Frank,
    I m trying to save entity and view object xml by calling writeXMLContents() and saveXMLContents() so that these objects can be retrieved using the xmls later on.
    These methods internally use MDS configuration in adf-config.xml, which is creating the issue.
    Please share your thoughts on resolving this or if, there is any other way of creating dynamic entity/view objects for db tables created at runtime.

  • GlassFish View Log File opens in editor instead of console

    How to reproduce:
    Open the Servers view, and bring up the context menu for a GlassFish server
    Select GlassFish > View Log File
    Actual: Log file is opened in an editor. Every time the file is changed, a popup is shown to ask whether the contents should be reloaded (unusable)
    Expected: Log file is opened in Console view and provides the usual reloading and scrolling behavior
    Eclipse: 4.3.0 (Kepler) (Platform 4.3.0.I20130605-2000)
    GlassFish Tools: 6.0.3.201306271729
    The question is: Can this bug please be fixed?

    I've noticed that search is sometimes quirky in the console, yes. But that always felt like a bug in platform. Other than searching, usability of the console is superior: Automatically scrolling, Clear Console, Scroll Lock, Show Console when output changes, being in a view instead of an editor.
    The editor is so bad that some people here refuse to upgrade to the new plugin version, instead installing the Indigo version from old workspaces.
    How about just offering both in the context menu? They could be named something like View Log in Console and View Log File in Editor.

  • Materialized view log and user....

    Hi,
    Assume that a user , let's call him A owns a table and another user B needs to create a materialized view log on the table who owns the A user.
    Whereas the user B do have all object privileges(direct priv insert, update, delete.. not via a role) on the table of user A he cannot create a mv log on this table on his schema....
    So, the stmts insert/update/delete on <tab_name> are successfully executed (having connected as user B).
    The error message "ORA-00942: table or view does not exist " appears when i issue the command:
    connect B/B;
    create materialized view log on tab_name with sequence including new values;
    Note: I use ORADB 10.2.0.4 and there is a synonym of tab_name to the user B (who tries to create the mv log on)...
    Is the above req. possible in any way...???
    Thank you,
    Sim

    The documentation says the following:
    The materialized view log is created in the same schema as the target master.HTH!

  • My Tasks View in my custom task list fails to display the tasks assigned to me (that is the currently logged in user)

    Hi
    I am new to sharepoint 2010.
    I created a custom task list, where I  have many tasks assigned to users (I had tasks assigned to me as well). I created a view as "My tasks "and having a filter as Assigned To is equal to [Me]. When I do that my view fails to show the
    tasks assigned to me. This happens same with the Sharepoints 'My Tasks' view as well. I tested by creating some test tasks under my name and when I selected 'My Tasks' view no tasks are getting displayed.
    Please help.
    Thanks,
    Gokulkumar.

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to display the tasks assigned the current logged in user.
    In my environment, if I used the System Account, My Task view didn’t display any tasks.
    However , if I used other users except the System Account, My Task view could display current user tasks correctly.
    I recommend to use other accounts except System Account to log in site. Then everything will work well.
    Thank you for your understanding.

  • How to restore views and procedures after drop user command?

    How to restore views and procedures after drop user command?
    We have 817 EE on NT and one developer created a lot of procedures, functions and vews. DB was not backuped and archived and export has not been done - our fault and we understand it. Sorry for this.
    Ok, now the story: another developer dropped this db user and we lost everything: procedures, functions and vews. The new user with trhe same name was created and new schema was imported in this user, but all old objects are lost. We don't have export and backup and archive log files.
    Question: may we can restore this lost stuff from some other sources. We are looking for lost codes, not data. May be we can use redo logs or shared pool or any other things. Any idea will be appreciated.
    Thanks.
    Victor
    [email protected]

    The switch has occurred after user was dropped, the data has been overwritten and there is be no way to use redo log files.
    I would like to explore another opportunity. Is possible to use Shared Pool or any Data Dictionary internal information to restore texts of the lost SQL and PL/SQL scripts executed in this DB before user was dropped? Not too many scripts are executed in this DB and the lost ones may still be in stack. I remember that Shared Pool (cash) should keep last executed scripts in order to improve performance. They probably are kept in some special format. Can we restore these scripts? Of course they also might be pushed out by Import that had been done after user was dropped.
    Thanks for your help,
    Victor
