Planned order to prod order----order type and prod version/ routing

Hi,
My client produces a material in three different locations. The process at all the locations is same. Each location has the set of same work centers. We have differentiated the workcenters at the three different locations by naming conventions. I am mainting three counters in the routing with different set of work centers.
We want different order types for the production orders processed at these three locations. Also I should be in a position to select the routing/ production version manually for the production orders processed at the three different locations. When I am creating a production order manually, I can select the order type and even the routing or production version.
But here I am converting the planned order to production order. The system is picking the order type as maintained in OPPE. In OPL8 I maintained manual  selection of prod version. But version 1 is selected default by the system. Can I have any control over the selection of order type and prod version/ routing?
Thanks and Regards,
Raghu

Dear,
Selection of production version is only possible at manual creation of production order, but not when converting planned order to production order. you can manually change the production version if u want to in the planned order. When you have a planned order it would default contain a valid production version. So system would just take the Production version in the planned order to use the same in Production order. If you want to change the production version in production order then go to CO02-FunctionRead PP Master data and change it.
(Goto OPL8 and select Manual Selection of Production Order in Production Version field
And in MRP4 view of material master select - Selection only by production version as the option for the Selection method field )
Hope clear to you.

We have developed guideline and schema for a custom positional flat file using Oracle B2B Document Editor. We were able to creat and deploy the agreement. But when we drop a message on a Queue being listened by Oracle B2B. The document type and version values were empty. We got the following error,

  • Table to find sales order created for a transaction type.

    Hello all
I have a requirement that i need to check all the orders created for a transaction type and to find out how many of them are active now and how many of them are deleted.
i know only the transaction type and based on this input i need to know the above details is there any report or table for this.
    Thanks and Regards
    shanto aloor

    Hello shanto aloor,
in the database table CRMD_ORDERADM_H you can search by transaction type. In Se16 you can enter the process_type to find the related transactions. If you have the header GUID you can use also the report (SE38) CRM_ORDER_READ to get more details of the transaction.
Hopefully this information will help you to meet your requirement.
    regards

  • Document type and Transaction type

    Hi,
Can someone give me a clear and detailed understanding of how to maintain transaction types in SRM system and document types in the backend system based on various scenarios (i.e standalone, classic. extended.....)
Is it mandatory that the document type assigned in org plan attribute BSA be maintained in the local system as well??
    Thanks
    sunny

    Lol Sunny,
Thanks for the compliment, but no, I'm in france. I work on SRM for now 5 years, so it helps
In fact META BAPI are only BAPIs, with a certain way of developping: What SAP calls "Abstraction Layer".
This allow you to manage Partner system version differences, and backend unavailability, the process is:
    ->META_BAPI
    -First try synchronously
-->Read table BBP_FUNCTION_MAP (and now get into BADI) to get the exact function module to be called depending on the partner system type and its version
--->Call of this function (which either makes local actions, or call the backend system with RFC)
If the system was unable to call the partner system , it creates a job to re-try the call (based on what you entered in customizing).
    Here is the SAP description:
<i>- Depending on the release level used, you can use various Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPIs) to implement the business processes in the back end system. The abstraction layer encapsulates the BAPI calls in the back end system that are necessary to generate the back end documents from requirement coverage requests. The abstraction layer accesses the following sources of information:
-Dispatcher: This function module analyzes the Customizing settings and then knows:
--     Which driver it must call
--     Which back end system it is communicating with
--     The back end system release
--     Driver: For each release level supported and each abstraction layer, there is a driver module that calls the BAPIs in the back end system.
--     Spoolers: The spooler controls the transfer of documents from the Enterprise Buyer system to the back end system. If errors occur during the transfer, for example, the back end system cannot be contacted, the spooler is used as the queue for the requirement coverage requests. The spooler tries to contact the back end system at regular intervals and to transfer the documents.</i>

  • Acrobat Version Type And Version Number, For Creative Suite 5 (5.0) / CS5 For Windows

I would like to know the version type and pricise version number for Acrobat that is supplied with Creative Suite 5 (5.0) for Windows Retail Version.  (This is the default version number, before any updates) :
    To summarise:
    For the product:
    Platform: Windows
    Suite: Creative Suite 5 (CS5) / 5.0
    Distribution: Retail
    Application: Acrobat
    I require:
Version Type: Standard / Pro / Extended
    Version Number (Precise): 9.0 / 9.3 / 9.3.2 / (or other)
Disc's Volume Label: (As shown in Windows Explorer)
Ideally this would be found by looking at Acrobat's HELP > ABOUT menu option. (From a Windows installtion of CS5, that has NOT been updated), and not just looking at what is printed on the disc label.
More replies of the above information, will confirm any information provided in replies.

    Hello
there are two ways i can suggest:
First your own account: https://www.adobe.com/account.html and
Second the general informations there: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html
    Helpful woud be http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html
And what concerns Amazon: this "serial number" obtained from Amazon is not a serial number, only a code with which you can request a serial number from Adobe. Here you have to go through "Adobe Store", and look for the button "Serial Number Request". Fill in the form and, after a while you will get a "real" serial number.

  • REM Planned Orders being generated with Order type LA instead of PE

    Hi All,
I'm running the Repetitive Manufacturing scenario and when I execute the MRP run for my Planned Independent Requirements, Planned orders are automatically generated with the order type LA. I understand that for repetitive manuf., planned orders should have the order typ PE.
Is there something missing in config? How can I get the orders to be generated with the Order type PE??

    HI,
Check the following settings which is required for REM
    1. Master Data -
    - Create Material master - MM01
    -Create BOM - CS01
    -Create rate Routing - CA21
Create Rem profile - SPRO ->Production planning -> Rem.Manuf->Control data or use existing one
Assign Bom seelction method = 2 & 3 (Prod version) in MRP view
Rem MFG indicator - mrp view in MM01.
Assign the REM profile to a material - MRP view in MM01.
create Valid Production version - MRP view in MM01 & Check Rem mfg ind
Assign the BOM and routings in Prod. Version
    2.For Preliminary Cost Estimate:
Create version specific product cost collecter for Header material and preiminary cost estimate - KKF6N as per the settings in Rem profile. -
    3 For standard cat Estimate.
    create std Cost estimation(CK11n)
std cost Estimation Mark & release(CK24)
    Thanks

  • Planned order conversion to Process Order and Stock Transport Order

    Hello Friends,
Help me to setup the below scenario
We have an requirement wherein MAT1 can be inhouse produced or can also get stock from other plant via stock transport order.
For which in Material master I have configured
    MRP 2 view
    Procuremrent Type - X
Special Procurement - 40 (wherin the splly plant is maintained)
    MRP 3 view
Strategy group - 40 (as it is planning with final assembly)
But when i run MRP system created Planed orders for PIRs. Selecting Planned Order conversion only Purchase req tab is available we do not have an option to convert to production order.
Kindly help me correcting the settings, so that i should be in a position to convert planned order either to process order or Stock transport Purchase requisition.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Chandra

    Hi Chandra,
Stock transfer is only possible with procurement type 'F'. when you take spl.procurement type 40, its a combination of F(procurement type) and U (Spl.procurement). it will over write the procurement type ('X' in your case) in material master. that is the reason u r getting only pur req.
if you know the proportion quantity i.e how much inhouse and how much stock transport, then use quota arrangement.
    or
don't use any spl procurement key. define the materials in both the plants. when converting planned order to pur req. manually assign supplying plant and item category 'U'. try this.
    Thanks & regards
    Dilip

  • Restrict planned orders conversion according to procurement type

    Hello all,
We would like to be able to limit the possibilities offered in MD04 for planned order conversion according to the procurement type defined for the material.
For example for a material produced in-house (procurement type E), we would like have a button only for "Production order" or "Partial production order". Currently I have those two buttons, but also process order, partial process order and purchase requisition.
I suppose somewhere in customizing we can change that, but I can't find where.
    Can anybody assist me?
    Thank you,

    Hi Jules,
please have a look into Form CHECK_DELKZ_PODE in LM61RF78.
This where standard determines which Buttons to exclude, depending on the mrp element.
You can use the enhancement spot at the end to add functions you don't want to be available to table FCTAB via Perform FCTAB_APPEND.
Unfortunately there is no customizing to do this.

  • Production Stor Loc (Prod Order GR location) per Order Type

    Dear Gurus,
Is there a standard way where we can set the GR storage location of an order depending on the Order Type?  I know this is possible with the use of prod version, but other than that, any other possible way?
    ex.
    Order Type 1 = GR Loc A
    Order Type 2 = GR Loc B
    Thank you!

    Hi,
Other wise you can write user exit for you're scenario by maintaining in the Maintenance table like Order types and storage locations.
when ever you release or save the order the respective storage location must go and sit in the Storage location of the goods receipt tab in the production order.
alternative is user have to key in manually in the good receipt tab of production order.
PPCO0005 user exit may be helpful

  • Planned Order creation for Sales Order and Purchase Order

    Hi
    We have a following requirement.
In normal scenario when we have demand for material  which was created by MD61 and in addition to that if there is Sales Order the 1st planned order gets revised. To better expalin this consider possible scenario
You create plan via MD61 for 200 qty .The system creates Planned Order for 200.
Now there is Sales Order for 150 peices. Then what happens is original  Planed Order of 200 is changed to 50 and another planned order is created for 150 peices. The requirement is not summed.
Now in new scenario instead of Sales Order there is Intercompany Purchase Order of 150 peices.
Now the system is not changing original Planned Order of 200,but it created another planned order of 150.So now there are 2 Planned Orders of 150 and 200.
What I want to know is there any way wherein the system will reduce the original planned order (similar to Sales Order scenario)
    Regards

    Hi,
Use Strategy 52 in urs case.
    PIR witll be created .
None convertable planned order will be created.
Once you get sales order for that material.
New planned order will be created which will consume PIR( planned order ).
    Eg.
    PIR 10.
    Planned order 10 qty.
    Sales oder 6
Planned order for SO 6 qty
Planned order through pir will become 4 qty.

  • Automatic determination of Delivery type and Billing type in a sales order

    Hi,
I want to know that in a sales order cycle, how does automatic assignment of delivery type and billing type takes place after we create a sales order?
For example, when I create an outbound delivery for a sales order of type normal (OR) then in that case how does the system knows that it has to create an outbound delivery of type LF.How does the system propses it automatically and same is the case of billing document.

    Hi
In customising the sales document type (Tcode VOV8) -
specify the default Delivery type in the field DELIVERY TYPE in the 'Shipping' area of the sales document type customisation.
Similarly you can specify the billing type in the BILLING area for both Delivery related billing and Order related billing.
    Thanks,
    Ravi

  • Order type and Item category group

Can anyone tell me which is the relation between order type and Item category group from material master ??
In fact the problem is that I have created a material and when I want to create new sales order it gives me this errror:
"No item category available (Table T184 ZORDER ZITGR)"
Is there a tranzaction where I can assign Item category group ZITGR to sale order type ZORDER or something like that??
    What should i do?

    Hi Dan,
Goto T-Code VOV4 and maintain the table
Sales Doc type + Item Category Group + Usage + Higher level Item Category = Item Category
    TA + NORM + Nil + Nil = TAN
If you have Customized your own Document Type and Item Category Group and Item Category then give your
Sales Doc type (ZORDER)+ Item Category Group (ZITGR)+ Usage + Higher level Item Category = Item Category (ZTAN)

Step3. When I am trying to clear the open item  (by selecting above both documents) for the vendor using transaction F-44 system is giving an error message u201CThere is a mismatch between order type and GL accountu201D. System is prompting to correct the down payment entry, where I dint use any Cost centre, internal order.
Checked the Internal order profile, AUC settlement profile etc and no able to find an error message.
Can any one explain me why this error is coming and what need to be check in order to rectify it.

Hi It looks that the field status of the Order Type and GL Account field status is being mistmatching with each other. You can check the field status group given on GL Account and the fields status in Order Type.

  • What is inbound XML message type and idoc type in Purchase Order response

    Hi ,
We are on SRM 7 ECS , support pack SAPKIBKV08.
We have a process in which vendor will send a Purchase Order response  which will be
converted to XML format by a middleware. This XML message will come to
SRM and post a POR. I want to do the EDI mapping for this XML message,
but there is no message type and idoc type in SRM for Purchase Order
response. How do I map my message type in SRM to the vendor sent fields
    in middleware .
    Please advise
    Rgds
    Sumendra

    Hi,
You can process with XML without IDoc.
    Vendor->  (XML) -> PI -> (XML) -> SRM.
Please check PurchaseOrderConfirmation_In in namespace "http://sap.com/xi/SRM/Procurement/Global".
