PLAY I-TUNES BOUGHT SONGS, TO MY CAR CD PLAYER

I HAVE BOUGHT A LOT OF SONGS FROM I-TUNES. NOW I BURNED SOME OF THEM ON A CD. I TRIED TO PLAY THAT CD ON MY CAR CD PLAYER. IT DOES NOT PLAY. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If your car CD player, doesn't have Aux input cables, either a 30 pin Dock connector or 3.5mm stereo jack, but have FM radio, you can get an iPod FM transmitter to transmit the iPod music to the car Radio.
Google or search Amazon or eBay for iPod FM transmitter, should cost less than US$30.
Have a nice day!

    Hello Robert,
With the latest version of iTunes on Windows, the menu bars are hidden, and it sounds like yours need to be enabled before you can authorize your computer.  You can follow these steps to enable the menu bars:
To keep the iTunes menus active, change the setting by selecting the Menu icon in the upper-left, and then selecting Show Menu Bar. Alternatively, you can press Control-B.
You can find the full article here:
iTunes: Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5610
Once you have those turned on, you should be able to go to "Store>Authorize This Computer..." as outlined in this article:

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I have the old skool Monster car cable--i tune in the channel on the Monster cable and my old iPod plays. I bought the adapter for Lightning to accommodate the new iPod i just bought. But it won't play. ***?

It could just be a compatibility issue.  Have you tried resetting the Nano with everything connected to see if that makes a difference?
To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

  • I bought songs of itunes and put them on a usb they all show and play when i open the usb on my laptop but wont play in my car stereo

I bought songs of itunes an put my playlist on my usb.
There all visible and play on my laptop but wont play in my car stereo usb port

iTunes only syncs to Apple devices.
Assuming the media is not DRM protected, any of the media can be dragged and dropped from iTunes onto other drives (external, flash, etc) as the user chooses.

  • IPod won't show up on itunes or mac, freezes, and doesn't play bought songs

Okay i have four issues with my iPod
    1. It won't show up on iTunes or on Mac desktop
    2. When i plug it into the USB port it freezes and say 'Do Not Disconnect'. It will not come out of this
    3. Every single song i have bought won't play on my iPod. They transfer fine, but when i click on a bought song it simply skips over it
    4. I authorized this computer but songs still need authorizing, and i have already authorized them
So we bought a new Mac and i plugged in my 30 GB video iPod for the first time. It showed up in iTunes then so i synced it to our new computer. Then i tried to listen to my bought songs and they simply wouldn't play. The iPod just skipped over them. I had one song out of three hundred or so that were bought actually play. Then i tried reauthorizing my new computer and getting rid of all the old computers that had been authorized. That didn't work, and the songs that actually needed to be authorized wouldn't be authorized even when i clicked on them.
So then i unplug and just listen to it as is for awhile but then i try plugging it in again and it just doesnt show up on my Mac desktop or iTunes. And the screen becomes frozen with the same message, 'Do Not Disconnect' I wait for a half an hour for it to show up and it never does. I have no choice to unplug it and then it is still frozen with that same message. Five hours pass, and it is still like that. It finally goes off and then it simply doesnt work. So i plug it in to my charger and its fine except the whole not playing bought songs business.
Please i beg if you have any answers to any of these problems HELP!!!!!

  • Every time that I play a tune from my itunes the file duplicates itself into my 'MyDocuments' folder. If I delete this the song is erased from itunes totally. Ideas??

Everything worked fine for the last two years but now every time that I play a tune from my itunes the file duplicates itself into my 'MyDocuments' folder. If I delete this the song is erased from itunes totally. Ideas??

You are of course deleting the tunes from within the iTunes interface.
The settings that I am referring to are your device settings for the iPad. It should show in the left column of iTunes when your iPad is plugged in.
Go through your playlists and make sure that the tunes(s) are removed from any playlist. You can prevent the sync as noted above then do a sync and the iPad should update with the content from you Mac.

  • When playing a song in my car thru bluetooth audio suddenly stops

I'll be listening to a song in my car from the ipod, thru bluetooth, when all of a sudden a song's audio will stop, but the time on the car's dash screen shows the song still playing. When I hit the 'next' button, the next song will come on but the time of the previous song is still visible. This is a 3 year old ipod touch. Is it time for a new one?

is there any other bluetooth device linked to ur car's bluetooth device?
it may be the ipod may  need updateing or like you said the ipod's 3year old u may need a new version of the ipod

  • Newly bought songs download, but when I go to listen to them, no sound comes out but it still says the song is playing..

ok. so i just bought some new songs and imported them onto my ipod. when I go to listen to the songs on my ipod and itunes home page, it will either play part of the song and then randomly stop but say it is still playing, or it will not play anything but again say it is.

If the email hasn't arrived after a few hours and isn't in a spam filter, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

I bought a new iPod 7th generation.  I can't just touch music, I have to double tap it. I can't select songs with a tap, I have to double tap it.  I then have to double tap play/pause, or next song selection to move to next song.  I also can't use my finger to scroll volume.

    Hello HoopsMD,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that the display on your iPod nano (7th generation) is not responding to your touch as you would expect. In this situation, I would recommend reading over the attached article and working through the steps within to help resolve this issue.
iPod nano (7th generation): Hardware troubleshooting - Apple Support
    Display
Follow these steps if your iPod doesn't respond to your input or has a display-related issue.
Screen is unresponsive and displays Apple logo or white screen
Reset iPod by holding down the Sleep/Wake button and Home button until you see the Apple logo appear. If the Apple logo appears on the display, connect iPod to a computer and verify that it appears in iTunes.
If the Apple logo does not appear, or if the iPod is not seen in iTunes, connect it to iTunes and try to restore.
Touch screen does not accept input
Clean the screen with a microfiber polishing cloth.
Do not wear gloves while using the touchscreen. Do not use the touchscreen with wet hands or immediately after applying hand lotion. Moisture affects touchscreen behavior in the same manner as it affects a trackpad.
If you have a protective plastic sheet or film on the touchscreen, try removing it, because it may be preventing the touchscreen from working properly.
The current application may be unresponsive; try resetting iPod by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button and the Home buttons simultaneously for a least six seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Sync with iTunes and restore the iPod.
    Have a great day,
    Joe

  • TS2771 when playing tunes, same song keeps repeating

When playing tunes, same song keeps repeating and does not move on to next song. Is there a repeat button somewhere/? When I turn shuffle on and off and it makes no difference.

On the left side of the music playing screen right below the scrubber bars it the repeat control. It is the arrowed racetrack icon. Tap the icon until it is white.

  • My Ipod won't play bought songs from Itunes

I have a new ipod nano, and it plays songs that I upoad to iTunes from CD, but not ones I buy from the itunes store, they come up and my ipod skips right over them. the only difference I can find between bought songs and songs I upload from CD's is the extension on the bought songs is 'm4p' and the ones from CD's is 'm4a'.
the songs play on itunes, but not my nano, which is confusing cuz I thought iTunes was made for ipods?
    windows   Windows XP

See this: iPod does not play content purchased from the iTMS.
If you have made sure that both the iTunes and iPod software are current and have deauthorized and reauthorized your computer, try this test:
    1. Deauthorize the computer.
    2. Create a new user in the system.
    3. Download the free song of the week from the iTMS in the new user account.
    4. Play the song in that user account to authorize again.
    5. Restore the iPod (using the iPod updater) in the new user account.
    6. Sync just the free song of the week and see if it plays on the iPod.
If it does, you appear to have a corrupted iTunes library file, and you should recreate the iTunes library file in your normal user account, and then sync your music back to the iPod and all should be well.
The following articles will help you.
    Authorization and Deauthorization.
    How to restore the iPod.
How to recreate your iTunes library.
How to create a new user account in Windows.

  • I cannot play previously bought songs on my new computer.  The songs show up in my library but I have to give my new computer permissiom?

Library shows previously bought songs, but won't play on new computer?

If you haven't already done so then you should be able to authorise your account on that computer's iTunes via the Store > Authorise This Computer menu option - if you are using a PC and the drop-down menus aren't showing then control-B should get them to show
e.g. (hopefully the image will show, but there is a bug on these forums affecting images)

  • When i download songs from i tunes to i pod some songs dont play or they skip songs or they make 2 copies of songs  what to do

when i download songs from i tunes library to i pod  some songs dont play or they skip songs  or they make 2 copies of songs  what to do

    *Skipping songs*
The iPod seems to fail to play all of the occasional track that iTunes, and indeed other PMPs, are happy to play. There is probably some minor technical error in the internal structure of the file which is normally ignored by other playback software but causes the Classic to bail out.
You may like to try scanning the files with MP3 Validator which can find & fix some internal MP3 errors.
Some users have also suggested that completely removing all id3 tags and then replacing the information can be a solution. This can be achieved in iTunes by selecting an affected track, right/option clicking and using the option Convert id3 tags > None. Since some files may mistakenly have more than one tag you may need to repeat this action. Once you have confirmed that no tag is present you can replace the tag information using Convert id3 tags > V2.3 (I believe it is recommended to avoid using V2.4).
Personally I have found files for which these solutions don't work. In this case the workaround is either to re-rip the tracks or get iTunes to re-encode the file, e.g. convert AAC to MP3 or vice versa and sync the newly encoded file to the iPod instead. Because transcoding will cause a loss of fidelity you should keep your original file so that if a future iPod firmware resolves this issue you can put your original files back onto the iPod.
