  • Home Hub 2 - unable to play MOH Heroes 2 (wii) onl...

    Hi,
Just bought Medal of Honor Heroes2 for the wii. Tried to connect to EA servers but got no connection. Looked in Wii book and it said port forwarding required. So, checked on homehub and found MOH Heroes2 already included in applications list. Assigned it to the wii (static ip) but still no connection. Also tried turning off upnp as suggested. Other online games work OK. Looking at the port settings for the application on the HH2, they differ from the recommended ones in the wii game manual. Have tried adding these as well, but no luck. Anyone had any success in getting this game to work online?

    Hi Richard,
Looks like you're right, a quick Google search found this (from the EA website at http://www.ea.com/1/service-updates ):
August 11, 2011 Online Service Shutdown
Medal of Honor Heroes™ 2 for PlayStation Portable and Wii
So that's why it didn't work. I never would've even thought of the server being shut down so thanks for sharing, it'll be something to bear in mind for future gaming queries

  • MOH and Media Bypass no longer working after Skype Business updates

Not using the Skype Business skin but still using the Lync Enterprise 2013 skin
1 - MOH still works ok with call park but not for basic Lync to Lync calls or Lync to PSTN calls. Basically I noticed that CsClientPolicy EnableClientMusicOnHold was now set to false instead of true and so I set it back to True and set the music file path
as per below. Now when I place a call on hold I hear the new soft swoosh sound for going on hold but I don't not hear any music. Under Options>Ringtones and Sounds I have the following  file selected: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Lync Server 2013\Application
Host\Applications\Conferencing Attendant\Media\Music\DefaultHold.wma which seems to work fine for call park but not basic call HOLD. Note: the Hold/Resume functionality/sip signalling works ok - any ideas?
2 - My current setup is with a Mitel MiVB PBX connected via a sip trunk (does not support TLS/SRTP and so it is disabled and using TCP/RTP) to Lync Enterprise 2013 with redundant mediation servers Ms-1 and Ms-2. I have Network Configuration > Global
    > Enable media bypass and Always bypass selected and enabled, as well, under Voice Routing > Trunk Configuration >  [Encryption support level = Not Supported / Refer = 3rd party / Enable media bypass = enabled / Centralized media processing =
enabled] ... after the update the media is not bypassing mediation servers anymore ... any ideas as to why?

MOH issue: Thx but i have tried many times without success, I even added and pointed to a new file magicHold.wma (BTW DefaultHold is a .wma file and not .wav) which I have set for both Call Park hold and basic call hold (i can see the file is selected
under the lync client options > Ringtones and Sounds > Play MOH + <.wma file path>. The magicHold.wma file is played ok during call park but for basic call there is still still NO MOH regardless of which file I select for basic call MOH
    - I have restarted my VM-Front End server box without any chnage - is there anything else that could possibly be affecting this? Also when I capture the RTP on the mediation server I don't see any MOH RTP being sent from Lync to PSTN when on hold. Please advise
if anyone has any other insight.

  • MOH for third party sip phones

    Hello ,
    I using CUCM version 9.1.1.2000-5  .
Does this version support MOH for third party sip phones ?
    Thank you

    Hi,
    I couldn't found better piece of information which list all cases how MoH is implemented for various terminals and hence thought of testing the same. My observations;
SCCP phone -> Hold -> SIP Phone -> MoH plays to SIP phone
    SIP Phone -> Hold -> SCCP phone - > Doesn't play MoH
SIP Phone -> Hold -> SIP phone -> Doesn't play MoH
Please note that I have checked with both Xlite and 3CX, results are same.
I have verified in wireshark also,  call manager is not sending RTP packets to held party when call is hold by third party SIP phone.
    Checked in CUCM 9.1
    Thanks

  • CCX 8.0: no MOH while first Agent Phone Rings

    I have a new CCX 8.0 Installation with a CUCM 8.0.
My script plays MOH as a prompt while the callers are in the queue. As soon as the first agent phone rings, there is no MOH. But if the first agent does not answer the call and the second agent phone rings the caller does hear MOH.
    Any idea?
    Kind regards
    Christian

That was my first guess too .... but you can wait forever.
Meanwhile I found that while the first agent phone rings you can hardly hear some very quiet sounds. Seems there is a problem with the streaming of the MOH. But i have no idea where to look, because it works with the second agent's phone ringing. Also it works with the standard scripts.

  • MoH issue without transcoder

    Friends,
    I am facing issue with MoH using G.729 codec. Following is the simple installation scenario;
Two sites are there viz HQ and B1.
MoH server (CUCM), Transcoder (2811), couple of phones are in HQ Region and few phones are in B1 Region.
Region between HQ and B1 is restricted to using 8Kbps (G.729).
If I make normal call between HQ and B1 phones, G.729 codec is invoked as per region settings. This means that both of these phones support G.729 codec.
Now if HQ user puts B1 user on Hold, MoH Server doesn't play MoH to B1 user in G.729 (play only beeps using SCCP signaling) untill and unless I don't use MRG in HQ device pool.
If B1 user puts HQ user on hold, the MoH plays perfectly as region settings within HQ is set to use 64Kbps (G.711).
My question is since MoH server is capable of playing MoH in G.711, G.729 and Wideband, then why it's not playing MoH in G.729 directly.
    Would appreciate your suggestion.
    Regards,
    Vipul

Files uploaded to the Publisher will not replicate to the sub, this is working as designed.  Only static data and user facing data replicate.  This is the same as uploading firmware to just a Pub and expecting the Sub to get that firmware or device pack as well, it will not and must be uploaded at each node.
    Supported Music On Hold Features
Music on hold supports the following features, which are listed by category. Feature categories include music on hold server characteristics, server scalability, server manageability, server redundancy, database scalability, and manageability.
    Music On Hold Server Characteristics
Servers stream music on hold from music on hold data source files that are stored on their disks.
Servers may stream music on hold from an external audio source (for example, looping tape recorder, radio, or CD).
Music on hold servers can use a single music on hold data source for all source streams and, hence, all connected streams. When multiple music on hold servers are involved, the local server of each music on hold server always stores the music on hold data source files. Cisco Unified Communications Manager does not support distribution of fixed-device (hardware) audio sources across music on hold servers within a media resource group.
Music on hold data source files have a common filename across all music on hold servers.
You must ensure that music on hold data source files are uploaded to each MoH server.
Each audio source receives a feed from either a designated file or a designated fixed source (for example, radio or CD).
A designated fixed source comprises a single device, which is either enabled or disabled.
The audio driver on the local machine makes a single fixed source available to the music on hold server.
Music on hold servers support the G.711 (a-law and mu-law), G.729a, and wideband codecs.
Music on hold servers register with one primary Cisco Unified Communications Manager node.

  • Cannot play games or videos...

    My set up:
    3400+
    2 x 512 Geil PC4000 @ SPD timings
    ATI Radeon 9500pro
    XP Pro w/SP1
    Bios 1.3
    Neo Platinum
    Antec 480 trueblue
Ok, so the build is fine, except for when I play games or watch any video's.  3dmark will only last 1 and 1/2 tests.  I've been trying to play MOH an older game and it cant handle it, after 30~ sec it reboots or exits the game.  I cannot watch video's but for 1-2 min then it either quits the program or reboots.  I do get BSOD's sometimes after it reboots for games.  I have disables fast wright for the vid card but that has no effect.  I am at wits end.

  • Vid card issues I think??

Good day, I'm having some major issues with my card "I think"
When playing MOH Pacific Assault, Battlefield Vietnam, and Doom3 my sys locks up and/or I get major video corruption. I have tried updating all of the drivers forward and backward and no luck  . One error that I get says that the Vid card got stuck in a loop. I have gone to the Nvida and EA site and no help. The only thing that I found was that their is a known issue with MOB running with Nforce 3 chips and to uninstall the GART driver "No idea how???" Here is the post on that, some of it doesn't apply (ATI, Punk Buster,
"This combination of hardware has been reported to freeze gameplay, and is due to a combination of these hardware elements. Resolving this issue has become a stalemate between ATI, Nvidia and Evenbalance. Here is some information which may help you address this issue:
Problem does not occur on non-Punkbuster servers.
This problem seems specific to WinXP.
Removal of the Nvidia GART Driver clears this problem up.
Reverting to ATI's 3.9 seems to clear this up for some.
Reducing the AGP aperture size reduces the amount of delay.
Decreasing the PB scan frequency with pb_sleep decreases the frequency of the freezes.
Changing from an ATI to Nvidia card seems to have eliminated problems for many users."
    Any idaes???? Thanks..

    Hi,
I wouldn't remove the GART driver.  I have a NF3/6800 Ultra OC setup and I disabled fastwrites in my system bios to resolve loops and freezes.  The combo works wonders now!
    Good Luck,
You want to try the easiest solutions first and turning off fast writes would be a good place to start as suggested. If it is not implemented properly it can cause instability.
There are also a few other settings that should be in there you can try messing with such as AGP Aperture, 4X or 8X...etc.
I also would use 3DMark 2001 as a stability test. It pretty much runs with every video card and drivers out there. Using a game might not be a good idea because a lot of games have problems with certain drivers or certain cards. At least if it passed 3DMark you would have some idea its not the drivers, card or even gart.
If it doesn't pass 3DMark then I would start looking at your motherboard drivers (GART). The chance of 3DMark not working with any version of Nvidia drivers is very slim unless they are corrupted.
To uninstall the GART you would go into device manager and right click it and uninstall. Windows will restart and try to install drivers on it's own. You can cancel it by clicking on the icon in the system tray if your quick enough. (WinXP)
Another way to do it, is just updating the drivers by again going into device manager, right clicking and this time picking update drivers.
You should have the drivers you want to use on the computer somewhere like maybe the desktop.
Another thing you can try is reinstaling DirectX, that is one of those easy things that doesn't hurt anything to try. Also make sure your video card is not overheating in the case. Open the case and have a house fan blowing on it while you try 3DMark or playing a game.
One last thing when you look in device manager the GART might not be listed as GART, at least on my NF7-S it is not listed that way. The GART would be anything related to AGP under "System Devices"

  • Intermittent disconnections!!

Hi I have had a quick read through and cannot see the problem answered and fact the only similar problem back in Jan this year never got resolved so here goes
I can use the internet almost at any time however at random the internet can disconnect and reconnect and sometimes repeat this as often as 5 times in a few minutes
I read an associated post re comments on noise (the poster had low noise mine is higher)
It appears that only the broadband is temporarily disconnected and can sometimes reconnect in seconds instead 30-60 seconds
Im using a bt HH black version-with no BT suppied phones attached

Now only around 2 years back BT visited and as the BT box was old the engineer re run the BT cable in to a connection point, from here new cable to master socket with a built in filter(2 socket outlet) a spur was taken from the bt line (not filter) in new cable to around 5-6 meters to my office where my router is and just 2 days back I changed this filter...just in case.
So all cables are new'ish and filters are new.
The problem has only become noticeable in the last month, maybe slightly less
I'm not keen on talking to the indian help desk, who ask me to disconnect and reconnect and when you call back the new operator says disconnect and reconnect, unless my problem is on their script they dont know.
What can i do to reduce noise?
The router has been placed at the master with no difference, in regards to electrical interferance it is roughly 1.5m metres from my PC through a few pieces of wood...any further it would not be in my office and therefore wireless...besides its been working fine for many years
When we boot up laptops wireless works ok
Most notible as I get the IE screen from BT saying no broadband connection and if playing MOH i also get kicked off...which bugged me as i never knew why, but now I know why

  • Microsoft OCS 2007 and UCM 7.0(1)

    Hi,
We are trying to integrate Microsoft OCS 2007 with UCM 7.0(1) using SIP trunk. OCS does not have any PSTN gateways and everything from OCS is sent to UCM (except PC calls from one OCS client to another). The goals are:
    1. Single Number Reach between IP extension and OCS client (using Cisco Mobility features)
    2. Call signaling/establishment between Cisco and Microsoft IPT worlds.
After establishing SIP trunk between UCM and OCS Mediation Server both (1) and (2) above work, however there are certain things I see which do not work as expected and the most bizarre one is:
I initiate call from OCS client to PSTN destination through MGCP gateway registered to Call Manager. I answer PSTN phone and then hang up the call on OCS client. What happens is that my IP Phone "wakes up" and goes into Hold, playing MoH for the PSTN phone. It stays like that for 10-12 seconds and then the call ends. These 10-12 seconds are very consistent and it happens everytime. OCS client number is configured in Remote Destination Profile in UCM, which is assocated with my IP Phone DN...all part of Cisco Mobility setup.
It looks like SIP signaling issue, that whatever OCS signals to UCM for ending the call, is perceived by UCM as putting the call on hold for 10-12 seconds....
It resembles a bit of what happens if you have shared lines in Call Manager. If you answer a call on one device and then put the call on hold, the other device with that line will "wake up" and the call will appear to be on hold there as well, so it can be picked up from the other device. In this case OCS Client and IP Phone are not really shared lines, though Cisco Mobility makes SNR, so in a sense you can think about them as shared... But I am not putting the call on hold, I am hanging it up....
Did anyone see anything like that?
    Thanks!
    David

    Hi David,
this is a normal behaviour. To CUCM, OCS is a remote destination (just like your mobile phone). When your mobile phone hangs up, the system will put the call on hold for 10 sec.
This is there for the mobile user to go to his desk to pick up the call and continue the conversation (part of single number reach feature)
The best practise will be for the user to ensure that the other party hangs up the call first before he hang up.
Please grade if you think it's useful =)

  • Music on Hold with Commercial Announcement

    Hi all,
I've a CUCM 7.1.3 and UCCE 7.5.8 environment. I am looking for an MOH solution where the system would play MOH music with commercial announcement. Does anyone know or recommend a third party vendor where I can purchase the MOH music that also includes custom commercial announcement ? Has anyone doing this type of MOH in their environment ?
Thanks all in advance !! I appreciate any inputs / suggestions !!
    Danny

Your best bet is to use rtsp, I think CVP 9 is the first version which supports it.  I've not tried it myself, but unless you build you own mix this is the way to go.
The other option which I've used is to just have a bunch of wav files and create some sort of naming convention where music is one name and commercials is another, then create an app which plays them randomly.

  • UCCX or CUCM Hunt Groups

Does anyone have a checklist for supervisors or administrators to help them decide if a CUCM Hunt Group or UCCX is needed to service departmental call distribution?
-Users can login/logout of line groups with the HLog softkey.
-Calls can be sent off to a larger line group or hunt list (or voicemail) if Ring no answer or busy timers are exceeded.
?What about any reporting? Is there anyway to report Huntpilot or Line group member statistics, I have not found.
-In UCCX you can queue up calls and play MOH in queue, not available with Hunt Pilots.
Is anyone aware of any new advancements or outside the box ways to supplement ACD features (no, not the BACD.TCL script) for CUCM without UCCX?
    thanks,
    K

Good luck with that. This is a Cisco forum so the recommendation is always going to be for UCCX or UCCE over hunt groups. Money makes the world go around. ;-)
That said, in UCCE/CVP deployments I have configured some very small teams as a hunt group with the hunt pilot accessible from an option in the menu. Mainly for non-agent areas (distribution centers, repair department etc) where they like all the phones in the hunt group to ring.

  • CRS Script Question

    Hi all....
Hopefully a quick one... well two:
    1) When you use a "Get Reporting Statistic" step and want to pull "Current Wait Duration" from the CSQ database, does the current wait time for a caller include time on hold? I'm using hold in my queue to play MOH to callers rather than playing music prompts but the timers dont seem to be working. I've set up thresholds that if the wait duration is more than 240 secs it should transfer the caller somewhere else but this isnt kicking in... Ever...
    2) I have a Call Hold step > Delay 30 > Call Unhold > Prompt > Call Hold > Delay 30 > Call Unhold. On the first Hold the caller hears MOH, on the second Hold the caller gets dead air, happens evey time, can't figure out why.
If anyone can help point me in the right direction with either of these issues i would appreciate it!
    Thanks
    Rich.

I'm using the output of the Current Wait Time with an IF step:
    Queue Loop:
    Queued:
Queue Length: Get Reporting Statistic "Current Wait Duration"
IF Queue Length >= Queue Length Threshold
True: Call Redirect to Voice Mail
    False
Queue Depth: Get Reporting Statistic " Contacts Waiting"
IF Queue Depth >= Queue Depth Threshold
True: Call Redirect to Voice Mail
    False
    Call Hold
    Delay 30
    Call Unhold
    Play Prompt: QueuePrompt
    Call Hold
    Delay 30
    Call Unhold
    Play Prompt: QueuePrompt
    Goto Queue Loop
The length threshold is an integer set to 240 (secs) and the depth is an integer set to 3 (queued callers). Each prompt is about 10 secs so i thought two of them plus two delays of 30 = 80 secs, therefore three loops would be about 240 secs at which time the length threshold would kick in and send the caller to voice mail.
So first problem is that the timers dont seem to work, in fact from the reporting it looks like a caller who queues for 4 minutes disappears from the queue and then reappears 15 secs later with the timer wait duration timer reset.
Second Problem is the second "On Hold" step you see above doesnt play MOH to the caller!
I'ma  bit of a nube with CRS scripting so any advice you've got will be gratefully received!

  • Music on hold source for UCCX

We are looking at a UCCX/UCM deploymenty.  In the case of music while in queue for the callers..what's the source of that music?  Is it local from the UCCX servers, or does it need to come from Call Mgr MoH?
    Thanks

I have a questions regarding that,
In a queue, I understand ther is two way to play MOH.
1 -  Hold the call and get the MOH from CUCM.
    2 - Play a prompt from UCCX.
*If I use the option 1, I can hold for a specific number of time, than I can do an action in the script.
But.. If choose number 2, let's say that the prompt I have uploaded is 10min, is there any way I can do an action at 2min, 5min.. without cuting the prompt ?... like a hold for a specific time.
    thanks

  • Cisco CUCM 9.1 Call Queuing no Ring Back

I have a customer that has a hunt group that has 6 users in it, they are routing the calls by longest idle. The way the customer handles the inbound call is with the operator-> then they transfer the call to the hunt group.  They want to be able to present MOH when they transfer to the hunt group. I enabled Call Queuing for this hunt group and set the MOH source to the customers recording , and work great as long as all agents are busy. When the callers are trasfered to the hunt and agents are available they hear the ringback tones as the call goes from agent to agnet until it gets answered. The customer is wanting to eliminate the ringback tone during the hunt cycle and just play MOH. I know this is possible with UCCX, but they are not willing to purchase UCCX. Is there any way i can silence the ringback tone and have MOH while the call is hunting?

Hi, there is a product intended exactly to do that:
    http://www.imagicle.com/go/queuemanager
It extends the embedded call queuing capabilities and is already certified with 9.1, available in solution catalog and also providing advanced historical reporting.
Licensed per channels and not per operator/agent, cheap, dramatically EASY to deploy, config and manage.
Offer a free of charge supervisor app on iPAD and can be combined with the imagicle operator console (http://www.imagicle.com/go/bluesattendant) for a full, professional, out of the box customer service solution.
You can contact imagicle for more info or download the free 30 days eval.
