Playbook defaults to portrait display only

since i have updated the software on my playbook I can only get a portrait view. Whenever i turn the playbook to make it change to a landscape view nothing happens. The screen lock is not on. Help please.

Could you try turning the screen lock on, restart the system, then turn the screen lock off and restart again?

Setting values to Display Only item during AJAX request

Hello,
Good Morning!
In a master-detail form, in the detail report, I am populating two columns SERVICE_TAX_PCT and SERVICE_TAX_AMOUNT by making an AJAX request after selection of ACCOUNT_CODE. Values are populated with out any issue.
However, as soon as I make those two fields as Display Only, the values are not getting set. Is there a way to set the values to a field in the same time it should be restricted for user to change it?

Industry sector field for display only.

Dear All,
Does anybody know the setting to make Industry sector for display only, so that the enduser cannot change industry sector while creating material.
I know to hide industry sector from DEFAULTS menu, but i need to freeze that field for display only.

Update item display only

Hi,
An item with 'display as' is 'display only' will not be updated (via a process after submit). But it will be updated when it is displayed as 'text field'.

Though you have not stated it appears you are on Apex4.
By defaul the display items do not save state. If you want item displayed but the value to be set then edit the item and under setting make save session stae = YES.
This is the expected behaviour of display items as they default to does not save state.

CM21 - How to display only released orders in CM21

By the way this problem is solved by assigning set for released order to the filter set in selection profile.
That's great. Taking a cue from you i also tried that but could not find that appropriate set name/identification which i may assign to the filter set to get only the released orders by default in CM21. Can you share your experience?
On CM21 Filter screen, there is no std field to control order status ...
You're right. Actually what i meant was that in the filter screen you get the order number as an input field. If you press f4 you will have the different matchcodes available to choose the order. If you select the order information system as the input help you will arrive at the standard COOIS or COOISPI screen where you can choose the released orders by giving REL as the input in sys status. This will pick up all the released orders.

How to make "Data Entry Profile" field input unable or display only in CAT2

I have requiremnet where I need to make "Data Entry Profile" field in the CAT2 transaction as Display only .That is for each user it should come as default one .
The reason behind this is , user should not change this Profile and maintain an incorrect timesheet entries.
Is there any User exit where i can do this ?

Got SHD0 transaction and create screen variant for that transaction there you can disable that field.
Create Transaction variant for that transaction and assign previously created screen variant to this transaction varient. actiavte.

Make Scrap portion field in production order header as display only

Hi Experts,
We have a requirement to make scrap field(CAUFVD-GASMG) in production order header as display field only. We do not want users to enter any values here to denote the quantity scrapped in production orders. I am not aware of any configuration to make this field as display only. Please let me know which user exit or BADI available for this purpose. We do not want to use any screen variants and transaction variants and would like to restrict this at order type or plant level.

Making a field as display only in custom Infotype.

I have to a requirement to make a field as display only in a custom infotype. This field should be greyed out while entering data via PA30 for any employee such that it wont allow to eneter data manually but it gets updated by a program. And also this field should have a default value , say, NO.

9XXX - infotype number.
Go to Layout editor for your Single screen (Screen Number 2000)
Double click on the field you want to make display only
In the screen attributes DISPLAY OPTIONS for that field choose "Output Only"
Activate Layout.
If you want to code something to be populated for the field code in PAI or PBO modules in the Module pool program

Duke's bookstore2 displays only one book title

When I run Duke's bookstore2 from the Tutorial (Chapter 12: JavaServer Pages Technology: The Example JSP Pages), I'm not getting any error messages, but instead of seeing the graphical "Duke's Bookstore" heading followed by a horizontal line and "Please choose from our selections:" the only display I'm actually seeing at http://localhost:1024/bookstore2/bookstore is this single link:

where I still see only one line with that one book title and nothing else on the page.

Actually, I did add the prelude and coda pages in the JSP Properties tab.
But, when I entered "/*.jsp" under URL Patterns on that same JSP Properties page, I did not erase first the "/URL_properties" that appeared there by default, so I ended up with "/URL_properties/*.jsp" in that field.
When I reduced that to "/*.jsp" the complete page displayed, including the bookstore header, clock applet, Start Shopping link, copyright info, etc.

Display only cell in ALV Grid in OO

Hi Folks,
Hope someone can help me with this little issue. I have a series of columns in my ALV grid that are editable, but I need to a) make some of the cells on specific lines uneditable and b) display time based fields on this line as blank (presently they shoe 00:00:00).
For problem a) I have set the layout style frame as 'cellstyles'
 es_layout-stylefname = 'CELLSTYLES'.
I have also set the edit flag in the field catalog for the individual columns to 'X' eg
 WHEN 'CUSTTS_DATE_N'.
 ls_fieldcat-edit = 'X'.
And coded:
 gwa_stylerow-fieldname = 'CUSTTS_DATE_N'.
 gwa_stylerow-style = cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_style_disabled.

Yet, the ALV cells are still being displayed as editable. Can't for the life of me figure out what's missing. The only other thought I had around this is that the wa_delivery_list-cellstyle table is being set in the data extraction code, before the ALV grid is built, and that the cell formats are being overwritten/on not being called by the field catalog entries. Any thoughts on how to make these fields/cells display only when the ALV is first displayed would be greatly appreciated.
As for option b) I'm clueless, as the cell style commands are not being picked up (see problem a.). Again any thoughts would be appreciated, and points will be rewarded for solutions/suggestions that lead to solutions.

Multi Language- Picklist fields are displayed only one language for Reports

Hi!
I am working on Siebel On Demand with Multi Language (English and Spanish) and it works well for web interface, the automatic translation for picklist works properly.
However when I create any report (with any Record Type) the fields setup with picklist are displayed only in spanish language even though I am on English mode.
Have you any reference(s) or previous experience(s) on that?

Hi,
in reports the language of the picklists corresponds always to the company default language.
The only solution I now (its really static and not so nice):
Create one report per language and change the picklist field by using CASE statements...you see its hard to refresh if you have lots of values :)

Can Contacts be set to display only enterprise (work) email contacts upon first opening?

I have installed my personal Yahoo Mail on my 9810 Torch; as a result, the Contacts list now includes a mix of work and personal when first pulled up. I can then change it to display only one of my contacts lists (work or personal), but that requires several thumb fiddles every time. Is there a way to have the Contacts display default to only my work contacts displayed upon opening?

Thanks for your question regarding the contacts on your BlackBerry® Torch™ 9810 smartphone.
By design, the BlackBerry will display all contacts when you launch the Address Book.
You would need to use the Filter option to view your personal separately from your work contacts.

SM13 in "display only " mode

Is it possible to restrict tcode SM13 to provide display only access ?
If so, how can this be achieved?

I do not think, as already mentioned, that you can meet your requirement, only through the standard authorization checks.
What you maybe can do, it to create a transaction variant through transaction SHD0. In here you are able to disable function keys, menus.
When you have created this variant, you can create a transaction code for it in SE93.
-- But please notice that access to this new transaction also requires access to SM13.
So what you need to do is to create to transaction variant as a display only variant that you activate as the default variant in for SM13, and a new one without any deactivation of functionality that you assign to a new transaction code created in se93.
-- Not an easy straight forward way of acheiving your requirement but it can do the trick - and please remember that the assignment of default transaction variant to transaction code needs to be performed in all clients/systems, as this is not ordinary customising

In BBP_CUF_BADI_2 method modify screen ?

Sorry for the missunderstood.
I 'd a look on the standard call to the BADI.
The table ET_FIELDS is populated by default with input = display = 'X' before the BADI call.
So be carefull to modify existing entries in table ET_FIELDS, and not to insert additional entries in this table.
Your code should be something like:
LOOP AT ET_FIELDS into wa_fields.
ELSEIF wa_fields-fieldname = 'ZREFEDI'.
wa_fields-xdisplay = 'X'.
wa_fields-xinput = ''.
endif.
MODIFY ET_FIELDS form wa_fields index sy-....
ENDLOOP.
try it and tell me.
