Player exception..

Hello everey body..
I have aproblem with recording files..
I make aprogram do the following:
1) browse and an audio file.
2) Then browse again and select a video file.
3) Merge the 2-files to one file.
4) play the merged file at player..
The code for merging is as follows..
private void MergeActionPerformed(java.awt.event.ActionEvent evt) {//GEN-FIRST:event_MergeActionPerformed
        // TODO add your handling code here:
        MediaLocator mlv = new MediaLocator(VideoFile);
         MediaLocator mla = new MediaLocator(AudioFile);
        try{
        video=Manager.createDataSource(mlv);
        audio=Manager.createDataSource(mla);
         DataSource array[] = {video,audio };
        d =Manager.createMergingDataSource(array);
        catch(Exception e){
            e.printStackTrace();
      OnDemandMPlayerodmp = new OnDemandMPlayer(d);
         PlayerP.add(odmp);
    }//GEN-LAST:event_MergeActionPerformedRemark:
1) OnDemandMPlayer is the class resbonsible for playing the merge file
2) PlayerP is the panel that hold the MPlayer to view the played file on the screen.
The code for the MPlayer class:
import java.awt.BorderLayout;
import javax.media.*;
import javax.media.protocol.DataSource;
import javax.swing.*;
public class OnDemandMPlayer extends JPanel{
    Player player = null ;
    /** Creates a new instance of OnDemandMPlayer */
    public OnDemandMPlayer(DataSource ds) {
        try{
            player = Manager.createPlayer(ds);
            player.addControllerListener(
                    new ControllerListener() {
                public void controllerUpdate(ControllerEvent e) {
                    if ( e instanceof RealizeCompleteEvent)
                        player.prefetch();
                    if ( e instanceof PrefetchCompleteEvent) {
                        add(player.getVisualComponent(),BorderLayout.CENTER);
                        add(player.getControlPanelComponent(),BorderLayout.SOUTH);
                        validate();
                        player.start();
                    if ( e instanceof EndOfMediaEvent) {
                        player.setMediaTime(new Time(0));
                        player.start();
            player.realize();
        } catch(Exception exe){
            System.out.println(exe);
}So when i run the action of the MergeAction after selecting the file i have the exception as follows:
javax.media.NoPlayerException: Cannot find a Player for: com.ibm.media.protocol.MergingPullDataSource@e102dc
So, What is the problem and how can i ensure that the files are merged correctly.. since there is no preview are available at the ondemendplayer window..

Sorry for one mistake in my description. Instead of getDataSource() it is going to be getDataOutput(). So,
1. Get Audio+Video capture devices
2. Get their media locators
3. From these media locators create audio and video data sources
4. From those 2 data sources create 1 merged data source
5. From that merged data source create processor
6. Realize and start this processor
7. From realized processor get its data source (i.e. getDataOutput())
8. Finally, from that data source you can try to get your player.

  • H.264 Blu-Ray rendered .m4v files won't playback in any media player except Adobe software

    Hello guys and thank you in advance for your help. I am going to pull my hair out!
    I had to reinstall Windows 7 and am experiencing an issue that is driving me crazy. All of my 720p H.264 Blu-Ray.m4v files rendered with After Effects will not play in any player I try in Windows. I've tried Windows Media Player, VLC, and Media Player Classic. I've tried with a clean install and no other codecs except those included with Windows 7. I've tried installing additional h.264 codecs. I've tried installing ffdshow and other codecs as well and no matter what I do, the files will not play at all.
    The only way I can preview the file it to load it in AE or Encore or something similiar. Unfortunately, this is not the best solution for me. I'd love to be able to preview the files quickly and efficiently through Windows Explorer / Media Player without opening Adobe software. I don't think that's too much to ask.
    Another issue is that before I reinstalled Windows that these files played back just fine in Windows Media Player! I don't know why it was working and now it's not on a clean install. All of the hardware is the same. On the original working install, I don't recall installing any additional codec packs or anything. It just worked...
    Regular .mp4 H.264 files (not Blu-Ray) play just fine in all players. Something the Blu-Ray spec is doing to the file causes it to not work. And changing the extension to mp4 does nothing.
    Please tell me what I am doing wrong! Is it something with the Mainconcept codec? Is it something with my drivers? What am I missing?!?

    Thanks for the suggesstion Mylenium, but that didn't help either.
    I installed PowerDVD which came with the Blu-Ray drive, and also a trial of ArcSoft's Blu-Ray player, and neither would play the files.
    Any other suggestions? This is killing me. I don't understand why they would play before and not now. The files arne't corrupt. Even new rendered outputs in the same preset won't play. They'll load into Encore just fine though and even are listed as "Don't Transcode", so I know the files themselves are okay.
    Could it have anything to do with drivers? I was testing an Nvidia video card with my last build and now I'm just using a Sandy Bridge chip with Intel's on-board video. But I do remember even when I took the Nvidia card out and just ran on-board video the last time, the files still played fine...

  • Windows 7 Speech Recognition causes Flash Player exception error in Firefox

    I have a strange problem.
    My system is Windows 7 Ultimate X64 SP1.
    Today I started working with Windows Speech Recognition. I found that if I have Speech Recognition running before I launch Firefox 30.0, I get a Flash Player Plug-in Exception error when I load certain websites.
    The version of Flash Player (Shockwave Flash) is 14.0.0.14.
    I also have SilverLight Plug-In 5.1.20913.0 installed and active.
    The problem does not occur when I use IE 10.0.9200.16798 to load the same website.
    One of the websites on which the error occurs is: www.bikeforums.net. The error appears as soon as the home page is finished loading.
    The exact error reads as follows:
    FlashPlayerPlugin_14_0_0_145.exe - Application Error
    The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000710) occurred in the application in location 0x774aa289.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks
    FW

    The problem does not occur when I use IE 10.0.9200.16798 to load the same website.
    Hi,
    Since IE works properly, it should not be Windows problem. Please try to check Firefox forum for an answer.

  • Cannot play songs on an iTunes burned CD on any CD player except my iMac?

    I have recently purchased many songs from iTunes. However when I download the songs and burn them to a CD, the CDs will not play properly on my car's CD player. For example, I purchased the song "Safari" by "Steps Ahead" and burned a CD. While that song on the burned CD would play properly on the iMac, the song will NOT play properly on any other CD player that I own -- the song contains two notes e.g. ta-da, and when I play the song on my non-Apple CD players, the ta-da becomes ta-da-ta-da-ta-da-ta-da-ta-da-ta-da-ta-da-ta-da-... In essence, the CD player goes into an infinite loop and will not play past those two notes! What is wrong? I have noticed this unnerving characteristic on a few other songs but did not contact Apple (I could not figure out HOW - the "Contact Us" option seems to go nowhere!!). Some songs play properly on all of my CD players but this song refuses!! I do not need the frustration of worrying if the song will play properly on my car's CD player or my in-house stereo CD player. The 99-cents is not important - I just want the music without the aggravation and the CDs that I need to discard because of the defective recordings. Any help will be appreciated. I am using TDK Music CD-RW CDs 80 MIN 700MB. Thank you.
    PowerPC G4 (3.3)   Mac OS X (10.3.9)

    CD-RW disks are unreliable as audio CDs. Try a good
    brand of CD-R disks and see if you have better luck
    with those.
    And you'll want to confirm that your car's player
    supports burned CDs; not all players do.
    Thanks for your reply. I have three SONY CD players (one is for recording to a minidisc) and every one of them misplays that song. They are all supposed to play CD-RW discs. I have used the TDK CDs before on iTunes but only certain songs seem to go wacky -- it's like a voodoo curse on those songs!! Why do 99% of the songs play correctly but 1% will not?

  • How can I copy my iTunes library to windows media player?

    Hi, I've spent all morning trying to consolidate all my music into Windows Media Player...so I can make playlists, etc. iTunes seems to be pretty tough....I've moved the library file around....copied, etc. and I can't seen to paste it into Windows Media Player. My itunes library has about 50 purchased songs, and another 100 from my own CDs.
    Does anyone know how to do this? I'm getting really irritable over this!!!
    Thanks in advance!

    The iTunes purchased songs will not transfer to Windows Media Player. Unless you have the iTunes Plus versions, iTunes purchased files are copy protected.
    There is nothing preventing you from adding the other files to Windows Media Player except for maybe file format. Did you rip the CDs to AAC or MP3 format. Don't know if WMP can play AAC. WMP has no problems with MP3.
    To add MP3 files to WMP just add them using WMP functions.

  • CDs I burn won't play on car player

    I have no problems burning audio CDs with itunes. The CDs play great on every CD player EXCEPT the on in my car, which is where I really want to use them. I've burnt MP3 files to audio CDs using other software and they play just fine in my car, just not the CDs I create with itunes. Any suggestions? And trading cars is not an acceptable suggestion! Thanks.

    Dunno what the issue is, but I've been having the same problem for a while.  Disks I burn on my arch box actually cause some settop players to hardlock.  ISOs I created a few months ago burn fine, but newly created ones, even of the same media, do not.  All of them play fine on any computer I throw them in - linux, Mac, or windows.

  • CD/DVD player not working (Toshiba Satellite L875d-S7232)

    I purchased a  (Toshiba Satellite L875d-S7232) on August 17, 2012 from a major retailer. Recently, the CD/DVD player will not play, or even recognize, commercially produced DVD movies. As a consequence, I cannot rent or buy movie DVDs, nor will any of the DVDs in my library work now. The DVD player in this Satellite is TSST SN-208AB.
    What happens is that when you put a movie DVD in the machine, the light goes on 4 times, but the DVD player never spins up and starts playing. In the explorer, the CD/DVD icon is there, but when you try to "open" the DVD player it never spins up and a green bar goes, very slowly, across the top of the window.
    The player has no trouble with audio CDs.
    I have spent about 10 hours on this problem now. What I have tried followed all of the standard "fixes" for this specific problem on this specific machine and the correct OS (Windows 7 Home Premium). None of the standard fixes fixed anything.
    In Brief :
    1. I uninstalled all programs which use the DVD player, except for the standard suite that came with the computer at time of purchase. Also, uninstalled all CODEC packages that were not part of the original suite.
    2. Uninstalled the CD/DVD device and driver, as instructed, and the device and driver were automatically reinstalled. Did a full power cycle (including removal of the battery). I've done this solution about 4 times.
    3. Looked in the registry for a possible filter driver issue. There was none.
    4. Used Microsoft "Fix It" program, which discovered "a problem" but had no description of the problem or a reference to a fix.
    5. Ran the device driver update check, toshiba service station check, microsoft update check. All files are up to date and the correct file.
    6. Ran system files check, HDD corruption check. No problems reported.
    Nothing done so far has moderated or altered the behavior in any way. Moreover, I have noted dozens and dozens of people on the internet in different forums with the same problem. What this means is that Toshiba is losing market share bigtime on this one.
    Any fix would be appreciated.

    Hi Sense no one has replied, I will offer my 2 cents. DVD drives wear out and they also get dirty. You could try to clean it with compressed air. DVD drives are fairly cheap and very easy to replace.

  • Latest Flash Player does not recognise an Old Script

    Hi, here's hoping this is in the right Forum. Some time ago I added an excellent Flash widget to a page -  recently I went back to the widget code to add it to a new page, unfortunately now, the element displays in the page as an error message - "You have an old version of Flash Player. Please visit adobe.com and get a new one". I tried in vain to reinstall the latest version of Flash to no avail - it was already installed, as I suspected. Then I remembered that the code was old, so I began to backgrade my Flashplayer - bingo! The excellent 'Facehugger' (form the Alien series of films) appeared. Only now I had an old version of Flash on my pc and nothing else would load. hhhmmmm dilemma, every other Flash I tried to load would require the latest Flash player EXCEPT my beloved Facehugger. So, my question is, are there any Flash code experts out there who would be able to take a look at the widget code and make it compatible with Flash 10+?
    heres the code:- <script type="text/javascript">

    </script><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" height="528" width="385">

    <param name="wmode" value="transparent" />
    <param name="menu" value="false" />
    <param name="quality" value="best" />
    <param name="scale" value="noscale" />

    </object></noscript>

    i think the problem is with your html code rather than the swf itself.
    there is now a better way of embedding swfs called SWFObject. Theres a tutorial here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer/articles/swfobject.html and an online code generator here: http://www.bobbyvandersluis.com/swfobject/generator/index.html

  • Shockwave player for WinXP x64

    Not a lot of things seem to require Shockwave player except jigsaw puzzles.  For a long time I thought there was a site problem with msnbc.com regarding their jigsaw puzzle page in that there was never a puzzle displayed and no error messages as to why not.  After several emails with their tech support I went to adobe.com and downloaded the latest Shockwave player and installed it.  The result was then an error message about the player.
    Turns out the only way I could get the puzzles to work was by going to oldapps.com and downloading an older version of Shockwave player (10.3.0.24).  Now the puzzles display, but regularly I get notifications that a new version of the player is available.  My browser shows that the plugin for Shockwave player needs to be updated as well.  When I go to a site that tests the Shockwave player, it fails with any newer version of the player.
    To further add to the problem, some sites that offer jigsaw puzzles apparently test to see if I have the latest version of the Shockwave player and pop-up an error notice.

    Since this is a "Discussion" forum, my only question is what don't you understand about "Discussion"?  The post was merely information sharing for XP x64 users of Shockwave Player.

  • I How to block iTunes option to auto convert in predetermined audio player

    My PC have OS Windows XP and I use for years Windows Media Player and Media Player Classic to play my music and video files, so I know quite well their operation and all their options. The naughy problem is that every time when I connect the iPod to my PC or if I open iTunes automatically iTunes auto convert in the predetermined audio player without any advice or previous authorization, an also change the extension configuration of my favorite music players. This changes force me each time to uncheck the audio option of iTunes and reconfigurate the extensions configuration of my favorite players so I can use them as always to play the audio files.
    My question is: What I can do to block definitively the option of iTunes to auto convert as predetermined audio player ,except the option is activated manually.
    Thanks for any help.

    You should be able to take care of this problem with your Windows XP settings.
    Right-click the CD Drive in Windows Explorer, select Properties, go to the AutoPlay tab, select Audio CD in the drop-down menu and then choose the appropriate option from the Actions commands.

  • ITunes to another type of player

    I need to put songs from my iTunes library onto an FP3 (Fisher Price) Kid's MP3 player. I read that you have to burn songs to a CD and then re-import them into the Fisher Price software, but iTunes evidently burns them in some kind of format that is not recognized like an audio CD. I can upload from a purchased CD, but not from one burned from iTunes. Does iTunes change the format of files imported from CD? Can I change it back to burn? How?
    Help!
      Windows XP

    Stacey, What you read pertains to songs purchased from the iTunes music store. They are in a format known as "Protected AAC" which is not compatible with any player except iPod. To get then into mp3 format, you need to use the iTunes program to burn them to an audio CD, and then import them as mp3 files. Those mp3 files will be usable in your kid's player.
    Also, if you import tracks from any CD, make sure to use the "mp3" option when importing. Then they will be in your iTunes library as mp3s, and will be compatible with the F-P player.
