Please advise me - Input Form ?

friends,
I am new to Java. Please advise me If I am doing the right thing.
My requirement is to have an input form and with a button called "apply" , when the input form comes up it does have default values from a parameter table and user can change any of the values and press apply so that new values get updated in the parameter table.
What I did is created a Jframe class where I have
added textfields for each parameter.
Param1 : TextField1
Param2 : TextField2
etc
Now when the user clicks "Apply" button, I go and check each textfield if it's value has been changed and if it is changed then that value will be updated in the table.
(PS: The table is not residing in any of the RDBMS, I have to indivi
?? is it the right way to do ??

If the PDF is a form fillable PDF, which I assume that it is, email it to yourself or send it to DropBox and open it on your computer. You should see the fields filled in there. It works for me if I do it that way.
Adobe Reader supports it, but the other apps don't. I assume that if you email the PDF to a computer user it would be readable in Adode Reader.

There it shuldn't be any problem. I've got 6i installed among many other things. It was the last product I installed and there was no conflict, even though there were some oracle processes started.
Make sure your oracle services are shut down. Use the 6i installer to perform the task and verify the PATH environment variable. Check if there are some other oracle home installed with a pre-OUI (Oracle Universal Installer) installer.

That's right - there is no relationship. so you have to go back to the person who gave this to you and ask him/her to explain just what they want.
Could it be the unspent amount in the Fund or Funds Center?

I just upgraded to GB'11, running OSX 10.6.8. Have an eKeys 49. OSX confirms keyboard as midi input, volume slider registers in GB but no key strikes show, thus no functionality of program for me. Please advise.

Volume slider is recognized by GB and nothing else. I have software instrument selected, not muted nor any other track solo. Midi input is recognised, but no keystrokes are heard as notes, nor are they noted as being played while recording. The keyboard and garageband used to work just fine. Please advise.

Also when I run garage band it thinks my USB wifi device is midi AND everytime I plug in my iPhone, it kills the USB internet connection.

Creation of input form without basemembers

Hi,
We are on SAP BPC NW10,SP10.
Last week we faced a data loss issue in production system.How ever we could recover as we had backups for the data.
Now analyzing the root cause for the data loss.During the suspected period there were no "Clear" or "Copy" jobs.
Checked the logs for these process chains in BW back end and in UJFS as well.There are no exact logs in SM37 also.
So we are assuming that data was not cleared with (Clear and Copy)DMPs.
Only possibility I am assuming is some users might have cleared the data with input forms accidentally.
But this is huge data(around 25,000 entries)which is not accepted by the management.
Is there any other possibility for data loss?
Can we clear the data on higher nodes in input forms?
(I mean if we select top node Organization and top node Term,any functionality or Macro can clear the data for base members?)

It looks bit strange to me that Audit logs are not turned on.
As s practice it is advised to turn on the Audit logs at least in Production system.
please cross check in UJD_STATUS table for the suspected period.

HP ePrint Home & Biz only provide print capabilities over wired or wireless (802.11) network connection, Bluetooth connection is not supported as well the specific model is not supported by the app.
Can I print from the HP ePrint mobile app using USB or Bluetooth?
No. You can only print directly to supported HP printers on a local wireless network.

However, I missed to mention that we have two set of users One is for Finished Goods and another for Spares.
Only Spares users need to be prevented from creating Direct/Manual Sales Orders in Oracle.
As you suggested, if this will be done at Form level, that may Disallow FG users also to create Manula Sales Orders which should not be the case.
Further, I tried to test one scenario through Processing Constraints but it did not work.

If your are using BPC 10 with EPM add in client, you can use the function:
EPMDimensionProperty ()
This function retrieves the properties of a specified dimension in a specified cell range.

However, Captcha is something which currently cannot be used via Muse without using Business Catalyst as host.

SAP BPC 10 - Error on Refreshing Reports Input Forms

Hi all,
We are working on an BPC 10 Consolidation project for the Netweaver Version.
We setup the Environment, Dimensions, Models, etc. We created a few reports too using the Excel interface.
These were tested and they worked well.
However, then one day we started getting this message, whenever we opened any Report or Input Form -
"The Report that was defined is invalid - at least one of the axis contains no members."
We observed that this message appeared when there was no data available for EPM Context (Current View) given.
In short -
- The data is pulled out in the report, where for a CV there is data available.
- However, if the CV is changed to something which has no data available, the report does not go blank (i.e. does not get refreshed) and it keeps showing the old figures.
We tried opening reports in the SAP delivered IFRS Starter Kit too but got the same message.
We are not able to locate what went wrong. Did we change any option by mistake.
If anybody has faced this message and got it resolved or has an idea why this message might be appearing, please reply.
Any help would be highly appreciated!

Hi Rajneesh,
Check whether you have both the row-axis and column-axis of the input template through 'edit report'.
Probably your input template has some member dimensions missing in your template.
We have faced the same problem before and corrected it.
This error occurs sometimes when we create a input template by clearing defining the row & column axis in the template but afterwards try some EPMOlapmember in any axis by deleting the original report elements.
So check the input template once again. I think you will track the error.

i get the list for files name in the importing directory (let's say ITAB)
With the list of file name i need to chek whether the file name exit in table KNA1 for the field KUNNR

Web app: How can I make a web app input form post directly to a sub category

Please, how can I go about this? Some of the ideas coming to my head is to replace the section I require with the generated webapp input form code with this:

I Trickster, pardon me if am not clear enough. But this is it. I have many BC Categories setup for different web apps. If you use the module {module_categorylist} only. BC will populate all the categories on the BC site, instead of a specific category relevant to the web app. If it is {module_categorylist, categoryID}, you are telling BC to use the the categories in a specific category.
When you say that you want to assign a web app item to a sub-category... do you mean the built in BC categories . I want to do this via the web app input form not through the admin.
Do you have a top-level category that contains all the relevant sub categories that the user could use to classify/categorize the web app item upon submission? Yea I have a top category that the user could use. It is this top-level category ID, I have used with the categorylist module.
If you don't want the user to choose the sub-category themselves, how do you plan to derive the sub-category anyway? Thanks again Trickster. You have provided the solution to that with the hidden input field code you shared earlier. The sub-category has been pre setup as usual in BC and the sub-category ID would be used as you instructed in the code. This is intended for another web app that won't require users selecting a category. This is the example you shared:

Using my example above I was able to test and have it working (using {module_categorylist} with the SELECT element) on a web app input form and when I submitted the new web app item it was classified in the category I chose. Yes Trickster, it works for me too that way. the web app item was classified perfectly, but if you go to your the web app item submitted at the admin-end, you will discover in that the category the user selected in the front-end is not selected, even though the item was classified

The option selected by the user is not captured. It often defaults to the 2012, even when the user selected 2013 and the item has been classified as 2013.
