Hi, if you want to set it to another icon other than the default one, use setFrameIcon() method in JInternalFrame.

Urgent please help - brocade zoning and changing WWN

Hi all, we have had an issue with one of the devices on our SAN network, this means chaning the device, the engineer said we will need to change the name of the World wide name on the brocade to match. My question is, what is the WWN for? and do you assign it to one port, or a number of ports,and does a device that wants to talk to another device need to have the same WWN?

Hi Carl,
I'm presuming that you are talking about having either a whole server replaced or you replaced a HBA (host bus adapter (fibre channel card in a server)).
A WWN (World Wide Number) is a unique identifier in the fibre channel space much like a MAC address. WWN's are used for security purposes generally to prevent/allow devices from seeing each other.
In that case, you will need to reconfigure any zones that were configured for that host/hba. A zone is a method of preventing devices from seeing each other on a fibre channel SAN (its kinda like an ACL).
You will most likely have to make some changes on any disk arrays because they generally would be configured to only allow certain hosts or HBA's to see certain LUN (Logical Unit (a slab of disk)). This is called LUN masking or sometimes called LUN security.

I am working in Iweb 3.0.03 on a macbook (chrome installed)..
When I set the colours of the hyperlinks they are in grey but when I ftp the pages all the browsers change the hyperlink text to red? How can I stop this from happening? I am formatting the colours and on my macbook and everything looks how it should how I upload?
Could anyone please help..

Yes, all hyperlinks on every page are meant to be the same colour format.
I use transit as an ftp

Are all of the hyperlinks at the left supposed to have the same color format? If so select one, reset all of the colors and click on the Use for New Links on Page button. Then publish your site to a folder on your hard drive and check it locally with your browser to see if the colors are as they should be.
Are you hosting your site at a 3rd party server or on a MobileMe account? If it's a 3rd party hosting server publish to a folder on your hard drive and check the site locally with your browser. If the colors are good then the problem lies in the uploading of the file.
H\how are you uploading the files? With iWeb or a 3rd party FTP client? If it's iWeb try using the free FTP client Cyberduck to upload the site folder and the index.html file.

PLEASE HELP-JTable cell editor-change one cell, changes all cells of column

for example i have 3 rows 4 columns, column 3 and 4 are dates. now if i change the date to a new value (eg for of column 3)
for any row, and then i click on any other cell. All cell values ie all rows for that column are changed to that new value.
ie it changed column 3 for all rows 1, 2 and 3 to that new value which i changed in only one cell of that column.

Please Help - PDF File icon No longer working???

Ok this may sound a bit wierd, but bare with me. Ok so I just got a new laptop because my old one was going a little wonky..... long story short, it's gone. So I was transfering some pdf files that I had backed up to an external drive onto my new system. Both systems are running on Windows 7 Ultimate. So in a folder I have a number of PDF's stored. When I open the folder I see all the files, but they all look the same, they all have the default Adobe reader icon. This is fine, but I would much rather have my old view back. I used to open the folder and see all of the Covers of the books that are in the pdf's. How can I get the covers to show as the file icon again as oposed to the Adobe file icon? There has to be something that I'm missing. Sorry to have rambled on. I look forward to hearing your sugestions.

Thanx for the suggestion. I did the steps that i found on google to create the enable/disable thumbnail option and changing it to enable, i can tell it has changed to enable because other file types show the thumbnails but the pdf files are still not showing.

I do not think there is any direct way to do that like alter databse or something like that.I am not sure about ar8mswin1256 character set but for UTF8,You must export data, recreate the database and import data back. Export and import will do the necessary conversion. Set NLS_LANG to UTF8 in export and import sessions.
The current character set must be a strict subset of the character set to which you change. That is, each character represented by a codepoint value in the source character set must be represented by the same codepoint value in the target character set.
This is exactly the condition that is not fulfilled by WE8ISO8859P1 and UTF8. The codepoint values of non-ASCII characters in WE8ISO8859P1 (160-255) are not the same in UTF8. The corresponding UTF8 codepoints are two-byte each. Only ASCII codes (0-127) are the same.It is why you have to export and import. This process will convert the codepoints as required.

Please help with handbrake and changing my dvd

I recorded an event for someone and then took the tapes to Ritz camera and had them put them on a DVD for me. The company they use is called _Yes Video_, I downloaded the video to my Mac and it plays but the problem is I need to edit some things. So I went to Yes video website and looked in the forum and saw a thread about handbrake and how to convert, so you can import into I movie. Well I did this but it only converts part of the movie, the time on the video say 1:48 but when handbrake converts it then it only comes to 56 mins and not all of the film in in there.
I don't know if I have settings wrong on handbrake or what but I have to have this film edited and finished and turned into higher ups by tomorrow. I am so stressed out and just thought this would be a easy process.....guess I was wrong ha-ha

Hi there, I initially used handbrake for the self same reason of converting footage on DVD before realising that MPEG Streamclip produces far higher quality output from the DVD.
For info it's a free download from http://www.squared5.com/ though you will probably need the small ad-on from Apple $15 USD (I think?) and don't worry, it will tell you if it's required.
I've had astonishingly good results from using MPEG Streamclip - it's a shame I'm not working on commission or else I could give up my day job!
The settings I use in MPEG Streamclip to create the video footage as a .mov file use the options shown below:
FILE > Export to Quicktime
Compression > Apple DV - PAL
Quality > 100%
Frame size > 640 x 480 - Note: I used this for YouTube - you may want to set the resolution at 720 x 576 or higher for your own purposes.

To frustrate me apple does not seem to have a support email or any method to contact them with this issue to do with their email product. I have no apple product as I am using a PC but I am accessing and using their email product. Is there even a phone number I can call? Surely there is a support area for their Email server issues. Can anyone help? It is driving me mad and causing me major issues. My outlook is Outlook 2010 on a windows 8 PC. As I have said it worked fine then one day decided to stop sending emails.

Did you change the Apple ID for an existing account? Or did you create a new Apple ID? If you created a new Apple ID, your balance will still be tied to the old account and you'll have to log into the iTunes Store using that old account to spend the balance. you can change the page orientation by selecting the menu item "File > Print..." then adjust the orientation in "Page Orientation" section, then click "Done" (or "Print", if you want to print).

By can't change them do you mean that you don't have a rescue email address set up on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312 ?
If you don't (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.
