Could someone please tell me the name of the software you can d/l that acts as a 'radio tuner' and allows you to stream via airtunes. Thanks.

What kind of "radio" do you mean? Do you mean broadcast or internet?
I use Rogue Amoeba's Airfoil. It will allow me to stream the internet radio stations from iTunes through Airport Express. It will also allow you to stream from pretty much any other program. For example, AOL now offers some XM stations for free. I can stream those to my speakers. Airfoil is quite cool. And the folks at Rogue Amoeba are quite nice, support has been great.

I'm not sure, but I know it's not recommended to upgrade to iOS 8 on anything older than an iPhone 5. I only lost my music playlists and music that was on my phone, but that music is also on my iTunes, not the playlists though, and I don't want to go through ALL my iTunes library to fix it either... But it seems I don't have a choice right now.
Whatever you do, do NOT upgrade to iCloud Drive, keep iCloud till OS X Yosemite comes out, if your computer is a Mac. I also just noticed that all my documents on my phone are gone from Pages, BUT if I go on the iCloud website they are still there. Hopefully it will all work itself out when I can update my macbook pro to OS X Yosemite.
If you backed up your phone and all your purchases off your iPhone prior to trying to upgrade you should be fine... But I'm not even remotely sure.

PLease insert a memory card message

When I left my last job they let me keep a C7280 Photosmart Printer which I'd been using at home. I've been happily using it without problems for six months but for the last week a message comes up whenever I switch on "please insert a memory card" and nothing prints. I had occasionally had this message before but logging off the computer and switching on again made it go away. Now it seems to be permanent. I haven't got a memory card and don't even know what it does. Can anyone help?

I think this is a serious issue with your browser. None of the other browsers (Safari, Chrome)I use have this problem, however they're not that user-friendly in my opinion.
Like I said it has been 2 yrs and the forums are filled with this topic, without any real solutions, are there actually people on this problem? It's a pretty big problem, and honestly I don't understand why there's no correspondence from Firefox, that they acknowledge the problem and they're working on it or something.
Before those 2 yrs, never a hitch. The problem must've been introduced since FF21 or 22, not sure.

The easy problems will have been identified and fixed. The difficult or least common ones need users able to help troubleshoot and most just want to complain not file bugs, (Please note such bugs will likely only be followed up if it is a Firefox bug or a problem with a single popular addon).
If you follow the advice from ''Cor-el'' and try with a new profile with all plugins disabled you should find the problem goes away.

Please refresh my memory re: NR in Bridge previews

A major senior moment leads me to ask for help in refreshing my memory regarding the Noise Reduction applied in ACR not being reflected in the Preview panel within Bridge after clicking the Done button in ACR.
My recollection was that Noise Reduction and Sharpening applied to a raw image in ACR are not reflected, or at least not fully reflected in the Preview panel nor in the thumbnail in the Bridge Contents panel.
I've been trying to do a forum search for a post where one of the high gurus (Knoll, Chan or Schewe?) confirmed this fact in this forum, but due to the aforementioned major senior moment, I've been unable to find the right keywords for my search, so I've come up blank.

Here's an example that illustrates what I'm referencing.
The first screen shot shows an untouched raw image of an accidental camera discharge which is alomost totally black as viewed in the Preview panel of Bridge. You can barely make faint parts of the boy's face.
The second screen shot is the Bridge preview of the image processed in ACR 7.2 after applying some massive noise reduction and clicking on Done in ACR.
The third and last screen shot shows the Bridge preview of the same image with the same ACR adjustments as number two after opening it in PSD and saving it as a PSD without altering it in any way after opening it in Photoshop, then saving it intact. That is in fact exactly how the image looks inside ACR too.
The difference in noise reduction is massive.
Obviously this whole thing is an extreme experiment I carried out only to stress-test the noise reduction in ACR 7.2C1. The shot, as I said, was an accidental camera discharge while the camera was hanging from my neck in the darkened entrance to a pizza place and the flash was off.
So here we go, as per the above explanation:

That ACR 7.2RC1 was able to retrieve that much of the image is almost a miracle.

Please help :: JVM Memory Calculation

I've developed a struts based web application. I've got the java.lang.OutOfMemoryError when I tried to retrieve 2000 records in the login page itself. Ofcourse even in my listing of the modules.. i am getting the same...error
still i have confused with JVM size.. how much to be increased...? presently i have JVM size 32MB with jdk1.5, tomcat 5.5 , linux os..with 1GB RAM
please suggest..,

Well firstly i feel Holding 2000 records at a time is ceratinly foolish as sooner or later it would eat up all your JVM heap...
A better solution in order to maintain this is to use data paging....
first....
which you might divde into pages....
Say for example....
select count(*) from table_name where <condition>gives you total number of records present.
Say if you have divded the total records into 100 per Virtual Page
at a strench fetch first 100 records using properties like rownum(oracle),LIMIT clause in mysql and etc.
Hold the present page pointers in a bean Scoped session and then fetch the other page accordingly.this saves a lot of memory thought their is a lot of overhead involved.
the other would be usage of other caching techniques.

MSCS and Kernel patches: Can someone please refresh my memory?

We run 4.7 Ent on a 2-node MSCS Cluster (SQL).
I need to do a kernel upgrade, but I have forgotten the precise distribution of kernel files outside of the "run" directory for the cluster.
I understand they are:
Main Kernel Files
shared_drive \usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\exe\run
MSCS Files (on each node)
local_drive \Windows\SapCluster\
local_drive \Windows\System32\
However, could someone please remind me which files go into
"SapCluster" and "System32", or if you know the location, point me to an SAP document that details the kernel patch process in an MSCS Cluster (rather than a general MSCS config document which is of no use in this situatio).

Please help - 7373 memory card not recognised

I bought a 2GB Kingston memory card for my nokia 7373. I put photos on it from a converter in my computer, but when I put it in my 7373 it does not recognise the card. However, my friend's 7373 recognises the card and it works fine. The memory card slot on my phone does not appear broken to me. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to make the card work in my phone of or what could be wrong?

if your card works on your friends phone then the mmc is fine something is wrong with your phone.it can be hardware.though it does not appear faulty from outside but there are filters which might have got spoilt and therefore it is better to visit to NSC.

ITunes Producer, please get a memory

I am trying to update a book, but this happens with new books too– you get all the way through the process and then, after you have entered in all of the info, (in the tedious ways that iTunes Producer makes you do them), it tells you you have something wrong with the initial book document! This means you have to start all over again! But worse than this, it doesn't remember any of the info you just added! ARRGH! So you have to enter it all again!!!! Is there any cure for this in sight?

It keeps telling me I have unsaved changes! This is happening on more than one book. I saved the changes! What more can I do?

BODI - Job Error " blank message,possibly due to insufficient memory

Ending up with below error while executing a DI job. The job uses a file of size 37 MB as source. As the error looks something related to memory. I have tried splitting up the input file into and executed the job. The job completed successfully without any error.
Could someone help me out to find any memory setting which needs to be investigated in the dataflow level to get a permanent solution for it.

Hi,
loading a 37MB file shouldnt be a problem without splitting it. i´ve loaded GB size flatfiles without problems.
Did you checked the error.txt as stated in the message? Whats in there.
If you split the file and you can load it, you have enough space in your DB.
Please check the memory utilization of your server during executing the job with one file. Maybe the Server is too busy...what would be strange with a 37MB file.

What memory are you running in your KT6 Delta?

I am looking at upgrading my memory. I am going for 1GB of pc3200 with decent latency. Please post your memory configuration as i want to know what works with the KT6 Delta before making a purchase
I also wonder if i can use dual-channel memory even thought the board doesnt support it. So i wont need to upgrade my memory when i get a new dual-channel board.

Don't understand your question "can I use dual channel memory even though the board doesn't support it." Makes no sense. Since the board doesn't support it the answer is surely no.
BUT, if you mean "can I use 2 sticks which I'd normally buy for dual channel memory" then the answer is definitely yes. There's nothing special about dual channel memory kits - they are just matched pairs, that's all. The Delta series has 3 DIMM slots so go ahead and buy 2 sticks.

MacBook Pro loses access to 1 memory slot upon shutdown or reboot in OS X 10.8.1

I have had 4GB of RAM in my mid-2009 13-inch MacBook Pro since a few weeks after purchasing it in 2009. Until a couple of weeks ago, this machine has been running OS X 10.6.8 with no RAM issues. I wanted to wait for 10.8.1 before doing a clean install of Mountain Lion on this MacBook So, the day that 10.8.1 was released to the App Store I immediately purchased and downloaded the new OS. I then performed a clean install of the OS, got all my software setup, and all was right with my MacBook.
However, over the next week I noticed upon startup or reboot of the machine everything felt sluggish. I opened the activity monitor and clicked on the system memory tab, it showed 2GB. I immediately clicked on the About This Mac button to see how much RAM was installed, it showed only one 2GB stick installed (the other memory slot was empty). The next option I chose was to restart the computer. Upon startup it still only showed one 2GB stick. Next, I shutdown the computer, opened the back cover, and proceeded to remove both 2GB sticks of memory. I blew out the slots with compressed air, swapped the positions of each stick and reseated the memory.
I started up the computer and to my pleasant surprise both memory slots were recognizing 2GB each (4GB total). I thought this had permanently resolved the issue, but unfortunately after every shutdown or reboot my MacBook (without fail) loses access to the second memory slot, unless I remove and reseat the memory.
This problem did not start until after installing 10.8.1. I have tried countless SMC and PRAM resets. Please help.

This didn't happen to me until I upgraded back to Lion the second time. I went from Lion back to a clean install of Snow Leopard back to Lion and then I had the problem with it not waking from sleep. The first instance with Lion I had no problems. So I decided to go back and do another install of Snow Leopard and the problem stayed with me. I am now on 10.8.1 and the problem remains the same.
I have, kind of, solved the sleep problems by putting hibernatemode at 25. This has allowed me to wake the computer up without a hard reset, but when I do wake it up it makes that hard drive spinning noise twice, almost as if it is waking up twice. Then, back to 2gb unless I reset the ram. I am going to take the case off tomorrow and just make sure everything is ok in there, but other than that I am just hoping it's not the logic board as my computer is a few years old now. I may also just throw a 4gb into the one thats working.
Memtest has found no problems either, both with 2gb and 4gb showing.

Query regarding memory upgrade

I have k8mm-v (MS 7142 v1.x) Micro ATX mobo with chipset k8m800-ce and VT8237
memory module required by the system: 184 pin unbuffererd ddr266/333/400 DDR SDRAM and can support upto 2 gb (this is as per motherboard manual)
My questions:
1. whether I can upgrade system memory with ddr1 1gb ram
2. do ddr sdram and ddr1 one and same thing........
3. Now a days in india 512 mb ddr ram are costly and i want to know if there is any other way and i can upgrade my system partially or fully (if so what should i upgrade like mobo etc........) please do help me.
4. I came across HCL ddr1 ram which seems to be less costly ................i had feeling that they would not fit onto my ram sockets (on motherboard) ..........I want to know if my hunch is real or i am just bit too nervous ...............and whether can I put HCL ram on to my system............please advise..............

It is always recommended that you use two identical mem modules in the two slots on your board, i.e. do not mix mem module size or mem modules with differing SPD values.
Your board does not support 2Gb modules. Your board supports 2Gb in total, i.e. 2 X 1Gb modules

I would like to be more specific, the "HCL ram" that I was talking about. Well, it happens to be name of company { "HCL Infosystems Ltd." (http://www.hcl.in/) } which produces assembled computer system and they also produce RAMs and did not meant in terms of HCL compatibility list that Microsoft talks regarding hardware compatibility (I am soo sorry, I did not correctly posted the query correctly)
I am unable to find whether they make RAM according to JEDEC standards.............
Please can any HCL guy ..................give me this clue to what standard they follow in making DDR 1 RAM

Help with phone memory

i'm using Nokia N73 Music Edition with 2GB memory card. My problem is that sometgime my phone inform that my memory is fuu and need to delete some data. Dont really understand what it mean. I also like to know how to manage my phone memory.

please remove the memory card and then format the unit using code *#7370#.note all ur data in phone ie contacts messges and calendar note u created will be deleted.
