nintendo, you have to stop starting threads with titles like that. Ever heard the tale of the boy who cried wolf? What do you think will happen if you keep starting these threads, go get your Micro and come back here with a *real* problem?
People will pay attention even if you start a thread with a title like "Zen Micro headphones question".

Photo stream pictures can be viewed only on the devices they were sent to. You can't transfer them back to your phone (or anywhere else). If you didn't back up or import the photos to a computer, and they are no longer on your phone, they're gone.

Seagate backup for macbook pro is messed up! (please read & help!)

So my computer was full because I had basically all of my space full of picutres. I bought a 1TB external Seagate hard drive and backed up my whole computer to the external hard drive. (took about 6 hours) I went to double check the hard drive and make sure that everything backed up properly, and it doesn't look like anything backed up at all. It says that I have 858.88 GB available of space... so it doesn't appear to have anything BUT when i click on my iPhoto on my actual computer, it says "The iPhoto Library is a Time Machine backup, and so cannot be used as the main library. Relaunch iPhoto with <option> key held down to choose another library." There are no other libraries to choose from and all of my pictures have disappeared (at least it looks that way).... I have no idea what to do. Please Help!

Neo4-F new build probems, please read/help

I decided to try MSI motherboards again, I bought a Neo4-F.
I have had nothing but trouble since I built the PC with this motherboard.
Hopefully someone can help me.
The problem is that there are too many random BSOD's. Often when there is a BSOD, I loose my USB keyboard, and sometimes the USB mouse. By either installing a PS/2 keyboard or clearing cmos clears the problem.
The FDD works randomly.
I installed the latest bios, all the drivers are the latest.
There appears to be a cold boot issue also, where it will give a BSOD once or more, than run fine for a while.
There are circumstances where installing software, running an anti-virus program or firewall will cause a BSOD also.
Ofcourse there is no overclocking on this unstable motherboard, and most all bios settings are at optimized defaults.
Harrdware is as follows:
MSI Neo4-F, with latest bios.
OCZ Modstream 520 (new)
Kingston Hyperx 3500 2x256 (proven good)
AMD 3200 Winchester w/retail HSF, temps around 35c
WD160JB IDE drive.
I dont want to rip MSI being I am looking for help. But this is my 2nd MSI board, and both have not worked properly. The first was due to a CRC error that was a common problem.
I am an experienced builder, I run a DFI Lanparty with an Opteron that is heavily overclocked on my personal PC.
Is there anything I can try with this board before I return it?

I know it sounds silly but I have had similar issues with an Asus MB. What happened was I was trying to get the heatsink on with a flat-head screwdriver and the side of the heatsink snapped off so my screwdriver went straight into the motherboard . This caused all sorts of errors so maybe trying a new motherboard will solve the issue. Strange thing with the usb mouse issue, never experienced that myself since 98 haha!

How do I remove a character from the program output? please read/help

i have written a program that stores the names of all the students in my class in an array. To write the program, i use Scanner to incorporate a text file that contains the names of all the people in my class listed. the names in the text file are in the form: "last name, first name" so when i print the program the output comes out first name last name, the comma remains at the end of the last name and i need to know how to get rid of this comma in the program writing so that it doesn't appear once i print the program.

Substring is a method in the string class that is very usefull so be sure to check out the API an see what all you can do with it. Basicaly, it allows you to read specific sections of a string.
The way you use it is as such:
stringVariable.substring(x,y)With x being the starting point of the section you wish to keep and y being the ending point+1 . Keep in mind that when indexing a string the begining is 0 just as it is with an array.
For your situation, try this
lastName = lastName.substring(0,lastName.length()-1);Another thing you could try is StringBuffer, be sure to check it out in the API as it can be pretty usefull

I have an application which I want to minimize into the taskbar besides the clock. I checked that Iconified() is to just minimize to taskbar like normal apps, so is there anyway to minimize besides the clock like ICQ?

You can only do this if you use native code to add the icon beside the clock.

Just remember to remove the icon again when you close your program, otherwise you have to point at the icon with your mouse to make it disappear.
You need the DLL file and look at how it is used in the java source files.

Ok I first Installed Java Forte cause I had to a Course and the teacher gave us an Exe which was 62 MB on a Disc and i ran it and put Java Forte On My Computer. I also put a JDK program on my computer through a Java book(Got a CD with it).I could do my Java at home but there was a massive problem. I am using Windows XP and if i used java, My Computer would never shut down cause java would always be running. So this got frustrating and i decided to uninstall it.(Also the Java Plug in decided to stop my java Yahoo chat on IE).When i uninstalled it, I am not sure if i deleted the folder, Did it through control panel(Add/Remove), Or use the uninstaller, I didnt think there was an uninstaller.
Anyway there was still some jc.java and java Web Start folders and J2SDK folder on my HDD.
A while later I get a big Java Assignment to do, I decide to install the Java again on my Computer, I go ahead and click the exe, It takes me to an intall place, I wait, Wait impatiently for 1 hour, It just froze on the install screen. I also tryed it on my old PC which had java, It froze But before it frose it said i already had it installed (Which it wasnt anymore). So i though maybe its the CD or something. So my friend gives me his CD and i try, Yet again it stayed like that for 2 hours. I was so frustrated. I ended up Going to control panel and removed the java Web Start and deleted the J2sdk FOlder and deleted the java Plug in from where it locates it.
I then decide to install Java again but this time it takes me to the uninstaller? Why did it try to install from this exe but after i deleted stuff both CD's Mine and my Friends take to to the uninstaller? Well anyway i decided to Uninstall it like it said"Java Forte 3 and Some other little thing" Then i waited and it said Uninstall Complete. I double click the exe on the CD again and it takes me to the uninstaller again? I was like WTF? How do i install Java? Its just the biggest pain? Why is it taking me there instead of the actuall installer?
Also I dislike other java programs as 1, You cant Execute the code cause its only HTML compatible and or you need the JDK files accosiated with the JCreator which i cant Understand.
Also i got Jreal and it actually worked, But there is no uninstaller for it and it has no Removeal in the Control panel? Whats up with that? Also its good how it works. But for some reason it doesnt accept the code properly as the buttons and labels just appear everywhere and stay there even if i change forms and are messed up compared to when i run it on Java Forte at School.
Also i have a Major Problem with Jreal as it states everytime i run an Applet "Start Applet is not Initialized?" And it shows a Blank applet? Whats up with this? I got no Errors and i think it said Exit Statement:1. But It worked before then i tryed it and it does this all the time for all my Java Program Applets. So I have no idea. It really frustrates me as it was working and i did no changes to the code and it wont let me test any more :(! Why is this happenning to me?
Please help me in the best way you can, I dont have much time, 7 Hours to be Precise to do it in!

When I right click on this and select "Get more info" it displays nothing, just the spinning wheel. When I select "Connect As" it asked for my password to connect to "Server b67446000000". This may have been on my computer since I got it, I never paid much attention. Is this part of the operating system or has someone hijacked my computer? Why would I need a server...it's just me and my one computer? Maybe someone has hacked in through Airport? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is your airport a Time Capsule.. if so it is able to serve files on the network.
The number is the MAC address of the network in the router.
Please reset the apple router whatever is and redo the setup.. this time give it a simple name.. eg TCgenX where X is the actual gen of the unit and give it a simple wireless name.. TCwifi and a simple password with 8-20 characters mix of upper and lower case and numbers.
Perhaps even better give me a screenshot from the computer of the airport utility showing me the Airport with its MAC address.

I know people have posted questions about this but I haven't seen an answer for my exact question which is: is there anyway to get my spinning wheel to go away out of safari without shutting down safari completely? I have a nursing final open in safari that I've attempted to take literally atleast ten times and this spinning wheel keeps coming up when I have a few questions left. I'm exhausted and just need to finish this test, as it's due soon and I physically haven't been able to do it because this stupid wheel keeps coming up. Also the cursor comes up with any other application so it's not that my computer is frozen, just doesn't wanna work with safari. Please please please someone help. I need to finish this and I need to go to sleep!

problem, as time was apparenty of the essence...
Much more information would have been required from
you about your OS X version, computer model specs,
and also a cure would likely have required you to shut
down and restart your computer.
At least perhaps start in SafeBoot, and run repair disk
permissions in Disk Utility. Check some system logs,
and also look into Activity Monitor (probably before
a restart) to see where the system resources were
being used; & if anything running could account for
the problems you've faced in using Safari.
To see what may be behind issues in your running
system you can get & use this free utility from a
trusted developer to get a readout of your OS X
and the results of this can be posted back here in
a discussion area as an image, to help diagnose.

If Other (the yellow bar) is too big something is corrupted. The only solution (that I know of) is to restore from your most recent backup using iTunes (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766).

HELP!! Oracle Files workflow definition needed! Please read!

Please read the following and help me if you can. It is really a very important and urgent issue.
We're in the middle of the OCS installation (precisely in the end of the storage layer). We have now to configure workflow, since this has to be done BEFORE the application (middle-tier) installation.
One of the steps is loading the workflow definitions (.wft files) which will be used by Oracle Files. But the instructions we received say thses files are MISSING in LINUX installations (just like ours!).
So if you have these .wft files in your installation please PLEASE mail them to me ([email protected]) as soon as possible. Documentation says these files are located in <oracle home>/ifs/files/admin/config. Probably you can also access them through Oracle Workflow Builder.
I will be forever grateful to all of you that help me with this stuff! ;)

Both of these issues sound like they should be directed to Adobe.
In the first case, it sounds like the file opens fine in Adobe, but once you combine this with other files and resave you get this error when you try and open the files again. It's Adobe that's saving the files at this point (Reports is pretty much out of the picture). You may want to try with Reports 9i, where a higher level of PDF is output, but that doesn't mean that Adobe shouldn't deal with the earlier versons.
In the second case, Reports outputs PostScript via the standard windows printer drivers and APIs - there's no special settings for this (in fact it looks like this is a standard initialization parameter for the printer). Again, you should probably contact Adobe for more assistance.

I've a ZMP too and i must say it's an awesome player! For me i transfer my music by simply just dragging and dropping from my computer's MP3 folder to the ZMP's music folder and u're done.

Try this first.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If that does not help, you may have to restore your iPad.
iTunes: Backing up, updating and restoring iOS software.
If that doesn't work - You will have to use recovery mode
iPad: Unable to update or restore

MY ZEN MICRO IS FROZEN PLEASE ANYONE HELP ME!

i went into recovery mode with my zen micro and no matter which option i choose it says 'formatting' 'scan disk' and remains there for over an hour and half.
before resorting to this option i turned my zen micro on and heard a buzzing and clicking sound like..."click...buzzzzz...click...buzzzzzz" like the ahrd dri've was corrupt trying to find something or cant spin up. i just bought this less than 3 weeks ago. i do not want to cross over into apple territory, thats y i chose this unique player. please anyone help.

i have the same problem. last night i was putting music on it, and it like froze while docking and putting music on, so i just unplugged it like froze, so i tried all 4 of the things in the reboot screen when it reboots. like all 4 options.
now when i turn the thing on it shows the creative logo forever now.
so fustrating.
and when i erase firmware or watever it does the same thing as this kid...it freezes deleting it. or same as reformatting
plz help us, i really wanna get this working i spent all my $$$ on it.
