Plusnet Pro add on?

Seeing as BT own Plusnet I thought it would be OK for me to post this, if not remove it. All I wanted to ask is, is there any point in getting the Plusnet Pro add on if you have Unlimited Fibre Extra in 2014? People say its for older packages and is usless for newer ones is that true?

  • Failed to Install Connect Pro Add-in

    I cannot get the Adobe Connect Pro Add-in to install on my

    Hi Matt an thanks for the email the other day.
    The main issue here is this is happening across all versions of Breeze and Connect.
    This isn't a problem due new browsers or operating systems.
    This is a problem abobe and Macromedia created when they didn't add the right code to their program.
    It's a glitch that needs to be fixed for ALL versions of this software because it's rendered it useless, by mistakes in programming.
    It's not a matter of lifetime support, the problem is the developers made a mistake.
    And now they have released a patch for certain versions and decided not to release them for 4.1
    It would  take an adobe connect developer about 5 minutes to patch this problem just like they did with 5.1.
    When the Macromedia Sales Person convinced me into making the decision to purchase breeze 4.1 for my client they ASSURED me it would work with all future browsers with the flash player installed.
    There is no security issue here to discuss.
    The company spent around 78,000 dollars for Breeze 4.1 with all the features including custom pods, personal branding/customization and scorn compatibility.
    I assure you WEBEX, CISCO or Illuminate would have fixed this a year ago..
    No one in my breeze data base can download the presenter.
    I have even downloaded it manually but breeze still doesn't recognize it so that means no live presentations..
    This problem all started with the release of a new version of the flash player.
    No other event caused this problem.
    I'm not trying to sound disrespectful but am  developer myself and there are just some things that you have to fix when the developer is the one who created the problem.

  • Reinstalling Acrobat Pro Add In to Word 2010

    I had to reinstall my office 2010 on my computer.  I am also running Acrobat xi Pro which was fine and did not need to be reinstalled.
    When the installation and updates to Office 2010 were completed I noted that my Acrobat xi Pro add-in for word was gone.
    I need to reinstall it.  How do I do that without reinstalling the enite Acrobat xi Pro application?

    Sorry but your response is incorrect. 
    One does NOT have to reinstall Acrobat Pro to fix this problem.  I figured out that all one had to do was run the Repair tool which can be found in the Help pulldown menu.
    BTW, the add-ins were NOT disabled.  They had been removed.

  • Adobe Connect Pro Add-In for All Users

    We need to install Adobe Connect Pro Add-In for all users in a Citrix environment. However, when installing the add-in there is no prompt to input a location. It directly installs the add-in on a specific user profile. Is there anyway to install this for all users as normal users do not have access to install anything on our environments? Please help as I cannot find any information on this.

  • Acrobat 9 Pro - Add watermark to digitally signed pdf?

    Greetings,
    Is there a way to add a watermark to a digitally signed pdf using Acrobat 9 Pro? I was able to do this using Acrobat 8, but Acrobat 9 restricts this change.
    Invalidating the signatures is not an issue as the watermarked copies would be considered uncontrolled.

    A - if you add XMP-based metadata (which has bene the preferred method of metadata since PDF 1.4) in "append mode", that will not invalidate any signatures on the document.

  • Acrobat XI Pro "add text comment" not working

    In Acrobat, my "Add Text Comment" comment feature no longer works. I am using Acrobat XI Pro on Win7.
    The property "Locked" vs Make Property Default fix on these forums did not work for me.
    When I click on a document to add a text comment,
    1. Acrobat creates a small square (uneditable)
    2. Acrobat adds a comment to the comments list
    I am unable to type any text, nor edit the box, nor change the box's size, nor see the properties.
    Any thoughts are appreciated as to how to fix this feature.

    Hi cpa-michael,
    If this issue appears in any PDF that you try to add comments to, please repair the Acrobat installation by choosing Help > Repair Acrobat Installation.
    If the issue appears only in one PDF file, that PDF may be damaged and you can try Saving As to repair the document, or you can try to "refry" the PDF by printing to PDF from within Acrobat.

  • Quicktime Pro Add to Selection & Scale

    OK,
    So I'm new to this Quicktime Pro yet again.
    I've followed the help doc for adding a selection and scale, but nothing seems to happen or it adds a text path that is enabled. it does not add the extracted video into the moviewhere I select with the markers. I feel like I am missing something somewhere in my transfer of the help to the actual mouse and key strokes I am doing. Anyone want to walk me trough this cakewalk

    I would like to take a movie and shorten the time so that it is sped up. I know its got to be simple and I must be missing a step somewhere.
    1) Open a new QT 7 player window.
    2) Add a data track you wish to use for the reference duration. (I would normally recommend somthing simple like an audio data track with a duration equal to or longer than you want the final video to be.)
    3) If the new player with the added data track is longer than you want the final video to be, then trim it to the duration you want. (E.g., if you have a 10 minute video you want to play at twice normal speed, then trim the target player track to 5 minutes. For 5x normal speed, trim the target player track to 2 munutes. So on and so on depending on how fast you want the end file to play.)
    4) Once your timing reference track is set to the target duration, open the video file containing the data you wish scaled to the target reference duration.
    5) To scale the entire video, press "Command-A" followed by "Command-C" to select all data in your source file and copy it to memory. (If only copying a segment of the source file, select the segment you want before copying it to memory with the "Command-C" keyboard shortcut.
    6) Activate your target player containing the timing reference track by clicking on it, press "Command-A" to select the entire traget file, and use the "Add to Selection & Scale" menu option to copand scale the data in memory to the target player file.
    7) Lastly, delete the timing reference track used to scale your source data content and save the resulting file.
    If needed, here is a link to a "quickie" tutorial I made several years ago. In this case, however, I used a copy of the original file to create the reference track. The above instructions are more generalized but refer to the same basic strategy:

  • Cannot install Adobe Connect Pro ADD-IN

    I try to run the test to see if I pass the things that requires for using the program adobe connect pro. But I fail on the last one saying that ADD-IN didnt install correctly on my computer. I click on the button "Install here" but I get stopped by another pop-up window sayin that it is not possible to "get it" (in swedish "hömtningsproblem").
    I need to help to "get" the adobe connect add-in!

  • Unable to install Adobe Connect Pro add-in on Windows 7

    We love ACP but we absolutely hate the ACP add-in in terms of security. Aside from it not installing correctly on Terminal Server/XenApp (rather a show stopper for us), it now appears to have trouble on Windows 7 for similar reasons.
    Running ACP on a brand new Windows 7 PC with full-administrator rights produces this error when you try and install the add-in from within a meeting:

    Okay I thought, I'll simply install the add-in directly by downloading from this website:
    http://www.adobe.com/support/connect/updaters.html
    On running setup.exe, it gives you a false sense of security in that the UAC pops up asking if you'd like to allow the program to make changes. It installs without an error and shows up in control panel.
    But - when you launch a meeting, it says "add-in not installed" and asks if you want to re-install. If you do, same disk write error as first time.
    As a quick workaround, I ran-up IE as administrator and started a meeting and it installed. Whether it's installed for other non-admin users, who knows.
    So how do you install the ACP add-in in a very-standard locked down corporate environment so that it works for all users??

  • Mail 8 on MacBook Pro adds selected signature, does not replace

    I have several signitures that I use in Yosemite Mail 8 on my MacBook Pro. The normal behavior has always been that changing signatures, by selecting a different one from the Signature selector at the right end of the From line, has replaced the default signature. Suddenly, Mail is now adding the signature under the default one. Hypothesizing a possible corrupt signature, I deleted and remade them, but the problem has not gone away. I can find no setting that tells Mail how to deal with alternate signatures. Has anyone had to deal with this problem, and how did you solve it?

    It appears that Yosemite's Mail 8 has made a change in Mail signatures. I have always had a photo as part of my signature. With the upgrade to Yosemite, the photo causes the behavior noted above. A signature with a photo will cause it to stick, although adding a signature without a photo below it will behave as expected. Just removing the photo in the Signature preference will cause the signature to behave as expected.

    There is no problem replacing one or more of your 1 TB HDDs with a 2TB HDD, or just adding 2TB drives in empty bays, unless you have a raid configuration, in which case all the drives in the set-up should be identical.

  • Adobe Pro Adds to Page Count When Converting

    Hi all,
    I am working on a client's document and ran into an issue with pdf conversion. I have the latest edition of Adobe Pro and I'm working on Word 2013. The document is very long (about 695 pages single spaced) and has about 2,000 footnotes. When I convert the Word doc to pdf using the Acrobat icon on the ribbon or the Save As tool, the pdf has a page count that is several pages longer than the original. This is a problem because the publisher's page limit is 700, and the pdf goes over that. 
    I was able to find a workaround by using the Print to PDF function, but it seems that, when using this function, I am unable to create bookmarks and a clickable TOC (I'm using Word's Heading 1, Heading 2, etc. to do both).
    I'm looking for a solution where I can retain the same page count as the original document but also have the bookmarks and clickable TOC. Any ideas? I welcome your feedback, and thank you in advance for your time.

  • How do I edit a DVD video in Final Cup Pro

    Hey all,
    I'm working on a project and I need to take the video on a DVD, bring it in to Final Cut Pro, add titles to it (text) and then output it to be burned back to a DVD.
    I can't loose any quality either, so it has to look the same as it does on the original DVD, just now with text.
    I've already looked around at other programs but none seem to work.
    HanDbreak: This program takes FOREVER to encode the DVD. It said it was going to take 5 hours to rip a 90 min movie. Unacceptable.
    ffXMpegX: This program simply doesn't work. When I attempt to press the "encode" button after picking my settings, it tells me to find a specific file before it can continue (?!)
    MPEG Streamclip: This is being touted as the best by people on forums, but I find it to be the worst. The GUI is downright confusing as there isn't one! There aren't any options, buttons, settings, drop down menu's, fields or ANYTHING. In fact, this thing looks just like a bad video player. I dragged on dropped a .VOB file in there, it took it and the video appeared but there aren't ANY OPTIONS after that. Am I missing something?
    MactheRipper: Okay, so this is alright for ripping the VIDEO_TS folder and that's about it. More or less pointless for what I want to do I guess.
    So can anyone please help me? I really need to get this done.

    Not possible. FCP cannot edit DVD video, it needs to be converted. Conversion means quality loss. Then you edit, and convert AGAIN to DVD...more quality loss.
    Want zero quality loss? You need to get a hold of the original material that was used to make the DVD.
    MPEG STREAMCLIP...drop the clip in the box...the look in the FILE menu under EXPORT...There are your options. But this won't be zero quality loss. Again, that is not possible.

  • Can't use the "send by e-mail" button on forms created in Acrobat Pro 9 with Firefox

    I created a form in Acrobat Pro 9.5.2 with a "send by e-mail" button as usual (not using LiveCycle Designer). Since a few months, users cannot send forms using that button USING FIREFOX works fine in Explorer. I've been creating and using those forms since 2 years whitout any problems but now this is A BIG PROBLEM for our office as all our reservation forms uses this technology.
    Steps to reproduce bug:
    1. create a form using Acrobat Pro. add an action button " send a form". send the Entire PDF form not just FDF. go in advance tool to give all rights to end-users (in French it's "étendre les fonctions d'adobe reader" I think it’s enable the usage rights for Reader ion English.)
    2.publishing the form on my website (or send by e-mail to someone who use reader)
    3. filling the form
    Results:
    when the user fill the form he can't send it by e-mail using the button. Nothing happens when hitting that button. It is not possible to save the document as well. Nothing can be done, not even printing or saving it. I've tried almost all browsers I know and nothing works.
    Expected results:
    the form should be send by e-mail (as an attachment in general) like before. please help me! this is really important, our office have a lot of calls and we are just 2 people here (non-profit organization). should we buy Acrobat Pro X ?

    When your customers opened the PDF form (which was as an email attachment) on iPads, it is highly likely that Apple Mail (not Adobe Reader for iOS) was displaying the preview of the PDF form.   Please note that Apple products on iPad/iPhone (e.g. Apple Mail, iBooks, Safari) do not render field contents or annotations (sticky notes, highlight, underline, strikeout, freehand drawing, etc.) in PDF documents.
