dear all, i am novoice to JAVA and JAVA programming....
Day after tomorrow, I will start learning JAVA and JAVA Scripting Using Visual JAVA. Before, I start, i want to have a sample code, if any provide me with a code for the following question; i will keep it in my dairy and i will write with his /her screen name and email address as his/her gift for me.
My question is:
If i give 10 people names and their marks using JAVA in Visual Java, then when i give a input of name it provide me with the marks and if i type the marks it provide me with the names who scored that marks

JAVA Scripting Using Visual JAVA.JavaScript is a completely separate language from Java, don't confound the two.
And starting to learn java using an specific IDE, especially one that looks like it's kean on generating alledgedly WYSIWYG forms is a bad idea too. Your first java programs should be written using a simple text editor and the command line compiler and JVM.
Start, as tradition demands, with a program that prints "Hello World". Type it in to notepad or whatever, complie it with javac and run it with Java.

Don't build a form with a fancy form designer until you've programmed one without.
