Plz Help me to prepare .lnk file in j9

Hi
I have successfully installed IBM j9 for CDC on my HP ipaq 2490.
I m able to run the demo app golf score tracker.
But I don't know how to create the .lnk file required to lauch my own app on ipaq?
Can anyone help me with it?

This is an example of lnk file:

So you need change only (first parameter) path to your jar archive & (second paremeter) [name of your package].[main-class]

Logo Kit help- how to prepare logo files for office use?

Hi, I need assistance preparing ready-made logo files for our office owners to use. So far, I have the following that I've created in Illustrator:
1. EPS files with Pantone colors for professional printing (publications, ads, brochures, business cards, etc)
2. I converted the EPS files into RGB 72 dpi JPEG and GIF files (small, medium, and large sizes) for various online and digital uses (PowerPoint presentations, e-mails, online forms, social media pages, etc.)
3. I also converted the EPS files into CMYK 300 dpi TIF files for in-house printing (in small, medium, and large sizes)
#3 is where I need the most assistance. These files are for the office owners to import and arrange into their own publications that will be printed inside their own office. During the test run, I was notified of color variances that were happening- the logo files were being inserted into Word documents that were then converted into PDFs. In a few cases (when the document was saved as PDF, or exported as a PDF in the print preview), the colors appeared pretty accurate (at least on screen, they were not printed) but in a case when the document was being exported as a PDF in the Adobe Standard Add-on, the colors were very off (appeared much more vibrant). During researching the issue, I am starting to lean on provided these types of files with RGB colors (especially if they will be using them in Microsoft Office). Let me know if this is correct - I am still a bit confused though, since I've always thought that files that are to be printed must be in CMYK, not RGB.
How should I be preparing these types of files?

Also, any quick tips for the EPS or online RGB file preparation when saving? I made sure to embed colors in the RGB files for color consistency within browsers. For the EPS, I made sure to embed fonts. Anything else I should be keeping my eye out for?

If you worry about that in the context of using Office apps, you might as well shoot yourself or jump out of the next window. You simply won't know and unless they work on calibrated monitors and printers (which is extremely unlikely) your precautions with embedding color profiles and all that mean pretty much nothing. The same for your web stuff - unless there is an active monitor color profile on the system, browsers won't do any color management. That's even more the case for mobile devices. So in summary, you can really only output it based on your calibration and hope it matches their systems and a standard sRGB profile reasonably well.

your card may be corrupted, or the firmware may not have been installed properly. You may need to format your card.

SHARE/Export PLZ HELP

On another string i started it seemed to get off track the replies, if anybody has an answer plz help below.
allow me to clarify and confuse more in an effort on unconfuse myself. I NEED to have this stuff in a workable format for PC useage. My original home movies came from VHS, thru a firewire box by canopus into my powerbook.
I think its better i export the IMOVIE file direct from IMOVIE to a Avi file on a firewire drive then take that to the pc for editing..later. PLZ HELP
1- What is the file format of captured imported video in IMOVIE HD? It looks to be some sort of MPEG????
2- WHAT is the best way to replicate that to an avi directly from IMOVIE HD without an quality loss,,but also not making an unncessarily big file? EXAMPLE,,my clip 01 is 1.7 gig. I exported a DV avi file in imovie putting all prefs on the max and got a 20 gig file,,,,it must be overkill considering it came from VHS to IMOVIE.
PLEase help......what paramters to set on SHARE BOX in IMOVIE when i want to export as AVI.
a- which dv setting?
2- Which audio sample rate? it defauts to 22?
3 what else should i be doing to have a replicate as AVI.

"Export" back to a new miniDV tape and import this into the PC.
I'm not in favor to the export function - but just put in a new
tape - hit record - and play in iMovie.

Something really odd is going on. In your first screen shot, I noticed that the Applications folder does not have the proper icon displayed in the side bar. Also, in the title bar it lists it as Applications 08-59-29-909.
Not sure where it's picking up that odd name, unless it's because it's still truly within the Trash folder.
Try this. In the Finder > Preferences > General > turn on "Always open folders in a new window". (I have a feeling you have the default setting with this off).
Now, in Finder > Go > move down and open the Applications Folder from there. Now open the folder where you see all your applications that you show in your screen shot, select all, and move them to this true appliactions folder.
This is what you should properly seeing (but with different apps listed):
See how the Applications folder has the icon of the letter A shaped with a pencil, ruler & pen.

I am new in Java programming, have a .jar file that contains .java files that I want no access and use from another .java file. These files in the .jar file basically form a library thus have no main-method. However I can not declare an instance of the library (in the .jar file) and use it within my program.
Plz help ...I have tried all I know in vain.

Those files are send as application/octet-stream and that makes Firefox display a download dialog.

Installing the appropriate combo update may help...
If you are running v10..7 Lion, install the OS X Lion Update 10.7.4 (Client Combo)
For 10.6 Snow Leopard > Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo
Then restart your Mac. Try the App Store.
If that doesn't help, try the following..
Quit the App Store if it's open.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar top of your screen click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration
Click Go
Move the NetworkInterfaces.plist file from the SystemConfiguration folder to the Trash.
Relaunch the App Store and try downloading Mountain Lion.
You may also need to disable anti virus software and turn off the Firewall in System Preferences > Security (or Security & Privacy) > Firewall

Sun's RTF package is old and I am not sure they have plan to update it. Many RTF keywords are not handled by the java RTF package. You might want to modify their rtf package. Most of the files in this package are protected, only the RTFEditorKit is public. Look into the src.zip file and check out the RTFGenerator.java file.
