PM order business closue & FI postings

Dear All
I have the following case -
Even after business closure of PM order,  i am able to do  invoice posting against this PM order.
As per my knowledge the invoice posting should not happen after business closure of PM order.
Then how has the system has allowed FI posting against this closed PM order.
I need your suggestion on this matter.
Regards,
Vishal

In the standard system, if a maintenance order is business closed, status CLSD, you cannot do any FI postings.  Check TCode BS22 for System Status I0046 - CLSD Closed.  Double-click this status to see the detailed settings for the activities that can be performed with a MO in this status.
RFBU  FI: Postings
RFIG   FI: Memo postings
RFST  FI: Statistical postings
The business transactions listed above should have the "Forbidden" radial button selected.
Hope this helps.

  • Can not see the ICON of Complete Order (Business Completion) in the IW32.

    Hi All,
I want to Complete the Maintenance Order (Business Completion) but I can not see Icon - Complete Order. to complete the Maintenance Order. I understand Order --- Function -
Completion  path can be used for competeion but it is disabled.
For Superuser's LOGIN they have the ICON for complete Orders and they can see any error message for completiing Orders. Since I cant perform complete Order I can not see any error message.
Is there any user settings for ICON's display.
    Regards,
    Narendra

    It is assigned in role
To display - run PFCG and select the role click display and select authorisation tab click details icon and click organisation level to view the Buisness transaction
To maintain - Run PFCG and select role : SAP_Workorder_Closer ,Click the pencil and click on the authorisation tab and change authorisation value and eithier you can manually maintain I_BETRVORG with BABS value. or Choose Plant maintenance business transaction from the structure and add BABS and generate the profile. then execute the transaction.

  • Purchase order number for each postings with FBL3N

    Hello
With tcode FBL3N, I need to get all the postings on expenses accounts. Additionally it is possible to get more information on the postings from the orginal paper invoice. It shall be also more convenient to get the purchase order number walk trhough SAP with it. Then is it possible to get the purchase order number for each postings with FBL3N?
    thanks for inputs
    sb

    Hello,
Could you please add field BSEG-EBELN as a special field in FBL3N (from
menu path Settings -> Special fields).
Then, select the Purchase order field again from "Change Layout"
(Ctrl+F8). Now this field is available for display variants, it has the
technical name 1-U_EBELN and the description 'Purchase Document'.
The other field has the same description but as technical name
'1-EBELN'. When you create a display variant be aware that you select
    1-U_EBELN and not 1-EBELN.
*******Please also refer to attached notes 215798 and 984305.

  • Prevent work order business close when there is open PO

    Hello,
in standard SAP, when the work order have open PO, i will get a warning when i perform business close.  However this is only a warning.  On the warning window, if i click "Complete" option, i still can proceed to close the work order.
This will cause me headache later if user somehow "accidently" click complete when they should now.
Is there a way to make this a Error insted of warning or anyway to prevent order business close when the order have open PO.  Basically all i want is to prevent the work order business close when there is open PO.
    Thanks a million.

There are order where due to urgency, the work is carried out first.  In this case, order is created then work done.  The PO is created later.
When the PO is created, the cost is not shown as actual cost in order but rather its planned cost.  At this stage, someone can accidentally close the order even the PO is still open.  I understand that if there is cost in the order, CLSD is not possible until settlement is done.
There is a workaround with CO99 + note 687572 but i wanted to prevent CLSD thru IW32.
    You can try this...
    1. Create a work order with a non-stock item. this will create a PR
    2. (if required) release the PR
    3. create PO from the PR
    Do not perform MIGO.
    4. TECO the work order
    5. perform business close from IW32.
At the warning window, click "Complete".  You will see the order is CLSD.

  • Replication of ERP-Orders: Business Partner (Carrier) is not specified

    ERP 2005 / CRM 2007
Sales Documents (orders) are replicated from SAP ERP to SAP CRM 2007 with the following error message in CRMD_ORDER: 'Business Partner (Carrier) is not specified'. 'No Business partner was entered for partner function Carrier.'

    Hello André,
This simply means that in CRM in your partner determination procedure, that is linked to your transaction type, the partner function 'Carrier' is listed as obligatory (actually the minimum occurence is set to at least 1, thus meaning obligatory/required). If you edit your partner determination procedure and look for the Carrier partner function in it, set the 'Minimum occurence' to blank (no value). After this the partner function is no longer obligatory/required and the error message will no longer appear for all transaction types that use that partner determination procedure.
Of course, it could be that you really need this partner function but then you have to check your customizing settings is R/3 and make the corresponding mapping of partner roles (R/3) and partner functions in CRM.
    Hope this helps,
    Kind regards,
    Joost

  • Execution order: Business Rule vs. Dynamic Member Formula

    Hi,
I have a problem with a calc rule that calculate percentage of a list of account in comparison with other account (Ce10) as below
FIX (list of account restricted here, @IDescendants(YearTotal),....)
    "Percentage"
    (IF (@ISUDA(Account,"Ce10"))
"Percentage" = "NA CE"/"NA CE"->"CE10"; //Here the percentage member and "NA CE" member in the same dimension
    ENDIF)
    ENDFIX
When I run the rule, the result is ok with the Months. But in the Quater and YearTotal, it's automatically aggregate to a wrong result as the YearTotal is dynamic calc (e.g: Jan: 10%; Feb: 10%; Mar: 10% => Q1: 30%). So I thought it because the Rule is executed first (Q1=10%) but after that, the dynamic aggregation of Year is executed so Q1 is aggregated as 30%.
So how to fix Q1 = 10% as expected result. I did study on two pass calculation but it seem can not apply on this isssue. I searched for "back calculation" also but I still didn't find any solution for this.
    Please help me on this.
    Thanks.

Thanks JM for quick responding. The problem here is "Percentage" is not a account's member.
To make the question more clearly, I'll explain the rule:
    There's a list of account A: A1, A2,...,An
    and a list of account B: Ce10, Ce20, ..., Ce90
There is a mapping n-1 between these two lists. For example, A1, A2 is mapped to Ce10, A3 to A5 is mapped to Ce20 and so on. I do it by assigning UDA (e.g: A1 {Ce10}, A2 {Ce10}...)
And the rule is used to calculate percentage of accounts of list A in comparison with equivalent account in list B. So the percentage can not be account member. It's the reason why I can not use member formula and two pass calc here.

  • Business Area required while creating Internal Order

    Hi Gurus,
While creating Internal Order, Business Area is coming required.
Please tell me how can i make it as a optional field.
    Please revert asap.
    Thank you

    gverma,
While making the Internal Order, you are using a company code that intends to create business-area balance sheets. This is why you must enter a business area.
You can see this text if you double-click on the error message that flashes on your status bar at the bottom of your screen, when SAP says "Enter the business area".
Unfortunately, the only way to make this optional is to de-activate Business Area-wise financial statments for your company code, which, I suspect you might not want to do merely to be able to make an Internal Order with a BA.

    Gulshan
