PMD plugin for JDeveloper 10.1.3

Hi all -
Now there's a PMD plugin that works with JDev 10.1.3:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=56262&package_id=75287
Migrating it from 10.1.2 to 10.1.3 was easier than I thought; most of the changes are in the XML format and the README file helps a lot.
Share and Enjoy!

P.S. Reserve a copy today! http://pmdapplied.com/

Thanks to Shay Shmeltzer this plugin is now posted in the "Open Source and Partners Extensions" update center. So no need to add a new update center, just use the one that's in there already. Good times...

  • Develop a plugin for Jdeveloper

Hi everybody, anyone knows if there is a way to develop a plugin for jdeveloper?
    Thanks.

    Sure there is.
There is an Extension API that you can use.
Go to "check for updates" and download the ESDK extension - you'll get documentation and a bunch of samples.
    More information is here:

  • Portal extension plugin for JDeveloper release 10.1.3

Metalink Note:356550.1 says 'The expected time of arrival is second quarter 2006' [for portal extension plugin for JDeveloper release 10.1.3].
When will this be available for customer use? We notice it can already be downloaded from an internal Oracle website.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
expectation is this month or early next year. The version of JDeveloper is 10.1.3.2. Maybe if you ask this question on the portal forum they have a more precise date

  • Coherence plugin for JDeveloper

It would be nice if there was a Coherence plugin for JDeveloper for inspecting/manipulating/drilling down in caches, objects, etc.
    Andrew

    Hi,
Are you volunteering to write one? ;)
You may have already seen this ...
It might not be the plugin that you are looking for, but might give somebody a leg up if they want to use Coherence and JDeveloper.

Has anyone ever come across a VSS plugin for JDeveloper?

Sorry, you are asking in the wrong place.
    Try NetBeans official site http://www.netbeans.org/
Probably they have the plugin listed there or some kind of support forum.

  • BPEL Plugin for JDeveloper?

    Hello all.
I have installed the Oracle BPEL PM version for middle tier. There is no JDeveloper with BPEL designer in it, like it shóuld be in BPEL PM version for developers, or?
So I downloaded the Jdeveloper but it is not possible to create a BPEL process!
Is there anywhere a plugin for the JDeveloper to use BPEL or did I missunderstand something?
What should I have to do?
It would be nice if someone could help me.
    Thx a lot
    PS.:
I know that there are some posts in the forum, which handle the same theme. Sorry for that, but I dont become artful of that.

  • Perforce plugin for Jdeveloper 10G

    Hi,
On August 2004, Oracle have promised to release such a plugin soon.
Do you know when it will be released?
We are still forced to use Jdeveloper 9i due to this fact.
    Thanks,
    Shay

    Robert.
"We are planning" I don't think this is the kind of answer I would expect from Oracle after I have been told that perforce would be supported in jdeveloper 9.0.5.
Due to this "planning" stuff we are still forced to use jdeveloper 9.0.3!
It's been a long time since we planned to upgrade our suite of product IAS, jdeveloper and db, But we would like to upgrade them together to the same working version (not a beta or a preview) and the only missing part is the perforce plugin.
    for your consideration

  • What update site flexPMD plugin for FlashBuilder 4.6 ? and login/password to get it from SVN ?

What update site flexPMD plugin for FlashBuilder 4.6 ? and login/password to get it from SVN ?

Just thought I'd answer here to tell you what's going on around FlexPMD.
FlexPMD has been donated to the Apache Flex project and has been sitting there since then. In invested quite some time to find out if we would release FlexPMD soon. Even if if does work when using the Ant target the Maven part is completely out of date and I didn't manage to get things working in reasonably up-to-date Maven versions. It seems that FlexPMD had been a fork of the original PND which hasn't been updated for a really long time. Instead of fixing and updating FlexPMD to work on Maven again, I contributed a patch to PMD that helped modularize PMD 5.2. This has been released recently and even the maven-pmd-plugin for that version have now been releases. So this version allows to create a Flex language module for the official PMD system. Hopefully with this we'll get a well maintained PMD core to work on top of.
Unfortunately I had to finish some other things first, but I do have this on my radar next. So please subscribe to the flex user list and you'll be kept up to date on any progress.

  • PMD plugin updated for JDeveloper 10.1.3

Congrats to everyone on the 10.1.3 release; looks very nice! I've updated the PMD plugin to run on it, and now the plugin includes the latest PMD release as well so you get access to the nifty new PMD rules - such as ConsecutiveLiteralAppends:
    http://tomcopeland.blogs.com/juniordeveloper/2006/01/even_faster_str.html
You can get the plugin using 10.1.3's excellent built in "update center" thingy, just follow the directions here:
    http://pmd.sourceforge.net/integrations.html#jdeveloper
And of course, if you're using PMD, pls consider picking up a copy of the new book, "PMD Applied":

    Comments/questions are welcome,

  • How to enable PMD tool in JDeveloper 10.1.3.3.0

    Hi,
I have installed Oracle JDeveloper 9.0.3 and I require the PMD tool (used for executing java files for specific standards) to get installed in the same IDE. After downloading the appropriate version of PMD tool, I have tried pointing the executable PMD jar file in the Jdev where it is not able to identify the tool only. Please pour your suggestions how to make JDeveloper to recognize the PMD tool ?

    Hi,
I am trying to use PMD version 4.2.2.0.0 for JDeveloper 10.1.3.3.0.
I am in need to use a set of defined rules in the form of XML file to execute the code for the standards violation.
But after installing PMD in JDeveloper, it was listing out a set of rules (Navigation : Tools -> Preferences... -> PMD (in left side pane)) comes along with the PMD version and not letting the custom file to get pointed.
Please help me in how to get the XML file to be identified by the application ? Its very urgent, your suggestions are highly appreciated.
    With Thanks,

  • Installing and Configuring Microsoft IIS plugin for weblogic server

    Hi guys,
I want to navigate from "a page in website hosted on IIS" to "a page in application hosted on weblogic". I found out that there is a plugin for Microsoft IIS that can proxy requests to weblogic server. The documentation of the plugin can be found on the following address:
    Webserver plugin
I want to know about the configuration of machines. Can IIS and weblogic be on the same machine or different machines????  Where i have to install the plugin????
I am not able to find this in the above documentation.
    My environment is:
    1) Weblogic Server 10.3.5 installed on windows server 2012.
    2) Forms and Reports 11gR2 are installed on this weblogic server
    3) Apex Listener is also installed on the weblogic which communicates with a different db server.
    4) I also want to install JDeveloper and ADF on the same weblogic server and call applications developed in ADF (like jsp page) from Microsoft IIS website.
Please help me and give me suggestions.

  • Is there an add-on for BPM for Jdeveloper (11.1.2.0.0 or higher)

Is there any add-on for BPM - Jdeveloper Version 11.1.2.0.0 or Higher. Rite now jdeveloper supports this plugin for Jdevloper Release 1.
    Whether oracle provides any Plugin?
Whether we can edit the existing extension to utilize its features?

An interesting thread , though a few months old .. all the ACEs suggest you to be on 11.1.1.x (11gR1) if you need to use SOA/Webcenter.
    choosing JDeveloper 11g R1 or JDeveloper 11g R2
Also see a confirmation from Oracle ACE Chris Muir in the comments to this blog : http://www.vesterli.com/2012/05/03/is-jdeveloper-1112-a-dead-end/
There are 2 core differentiations between 11gR1 vs 11gR2:
    1) 11gR2 supports the newer JSF2.0, while 11gR1 supports JSF1.2. The 11gR2 release was brought out for customers who didn’t want to wait for 12c and wanted the JSF2.0 functionality now.
    2) Only 11gR1 will support the FMW stack. There will be no FMW release on 11gR2, only 11gR1 (and the eventual 12c full release of course).Edited by: Sudipto Desmukh on May 22, 2012 7:10 PM

  • Jupiter Plug-in for JDeveloper for doing effective code reviews?

    Hi all,
Can some body comment on the availability of an effective code review tool that can be used with -
    a) JDeveloper as a IDE and
    b) Can work with ADE as a version control tool?
My team is currently trying to understand if Jupiter, which is an Eclipse based plug-in, can serve as a possible solution for the same.
Request you all to answer a) and b) w.r.t Jupiter and also suggest alternatives, if any.
    Regards,
    Prasad.

What type of review are you looking for?
JDeveloper has built in code review see (Run->audit project).
There is also a PMD extension to JDeveloper.
If you are looking for a tool that will let you track things to fix in your code among team members have a look at Oracle's Team Productivity Center:
