Po approval status is showing as Incomplete

Hi,
Can anyone please guide me in getting po approval status as approved.Iam a beginner in oracle apps.Is there anything to be done with oracle workflow related to po approval for getting the PO status as approved. Iam getting the sent notification from clerk log-in in notification summary.but the approved notification in notification summary is not changing to approved status in navigation->po/po eventhough manager is approving the notification.I set the security option as public.

Hi JayaChandra,
Even I am facing the same problem. I Created a 'PO Requsition' .It is Approved and after that I am 'Auto Creating' a PO from the 'Requisition' approved .
But I am unable to approve the PO that is created.I am approving by myself and I am not forwarding it.The Status is showing 'InComplete'. But I am Able to Approve a 'Manual PO' but unable to approve 'Auto Create PO'. I dont know the problem and the approval limits are set properly.
Thanks in Advance,

  • Approval status of PR is in process, but action history show 'Approve'

    Dear all,
I am on EBS 11.5.10.2 and encountered a problem during the approval process of PR.
The approval hierarchy with PR is planner -> approver1 -> approver2,
and approver2 is the final approver.
Everything of the approval process is OK except that the action performed
by approver1 shown in Action History is 'Approve', but not the appropriate
    'Forword'.
Sequence Performed By Action Approval Status
    0 planner Submit
    1 planner Forward In Process
2 approver1 Approve In Process <---- Here the 'Approve' action should be shown as 'Forward'
    3 approver2 Approve Approved
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!

For requisitions the action taken by the approver is recorded. If they click on Approve, the same is recorded in action history.Shivaraj, for POs with the similar position hierarchy, if the approve1 click on Approve, action history does show 'Forward'.
Do you mean the action taken by the approver1 is different between Requisitions and POs?

  • Approval Status of all the documents which were in 'Approved' state, now showing as 'on going' status after migration to SP 2010.

    Hi There,
I have recently migrated my SharePoint 2007 portal to SP2010, However, to my surprise  i have noticed all the documents in different document libraries are having 'Approval status' as 'On going' status which suppose to be 'Approved' status.
I mean, before migration all the documents status was 'Approved' and after migration it is showing as 'on going'.
This is absolutely incorrect, can someone help in this.
How can i retain all the documents status as 'Approved'

  • How to show catalog items with Approval Status:Pending in a Content Search Webpart

How to show catalog items with Approval Status:Pending in a Content Search Webpart using cross site publishing. Thanks in advance.

I don't think you're going to be able to. Usually Approval Status is used in conjunction with Major/Minor versioning and while Approval Status is pending the item is usually a draft.
As a result the search crawler should not be able to see the draft items as it would not have the necessary rights to do so. (Good practice ensures that the Search Crawler has only read access and is not an elevated account for this reason)

Hi luke, I tried your script. However, it seems that once in a while srvnet crashes during the restart. Can you help me on this? Chris
    Hi Chris
Not sure why that would be but - you could add some error-checking logic to the script to test whether srvnet has successfully started, and then if it hasn't - attempt to restart it again. I haven't tested this code because I haven't had that issue, but something
    along the lines of:
    @echo off

  • Approval Status Report, SBO v2007, current data or cumulative?

I run the Approval Status Report while logged in as a superuser, selecting
    Document Status: 'Pending',
no limits set in the To/From middle section,
    all document types ticked,
and I get a list of document numbers.
I immediately re-run the Approval Status Report while logged in as a superuser, selecting
    Document Status: 'Generated',
no limits set in the To/From middle section,
    all document types ticked,
and I get a list of document numbers that includes some of the 'Pending' status ones from the first run.
How can the document be in both 'Pending' and 'Generated' status at the same time? Is this report supposed to show me the current status of documents, or all accumulated approval action taken on documents?

    Hi Cindy,
Document number in approval is not unique.  Same number may refer to more than one document.  All draft documents will only be assigned a unique marketing document number until approved and created.
That is probably you can see the same number in the 2 reports
    Thanks,

  • Workflow Error Message: System Account - The Workflow could not set Content Approval Status

This is the first time I try an approval workflow. I am using a template in MS Word and assigned an approval workflow to it. The approval workflow is only going to one person in this case.
When I start the work flow the following 3 error messages show up:
Workflow Error Message: System Account - The Workflow could not set Content Approval Status. Enable content moderation for this list and run the workflow again.
Workflow Error Message: System Account - The e-mail message cannot be sent. Make sure the e-mail has a valid recipient.
Workflow Error Message: System Account - The e-mail message cannot be sent. Make sure the outgoing e-mail settings for the server are configured correctly.
Thank you for your kind guidance.

    Hi,
For the first error: Did you set Content Approval in the workflow?  If so, see if you have it in the versioning settings of the list settings.
For the second error: double check your recipient is set up as being valid.  Did you type in the email address or is it referring to a people picker field?  also, make sure that in the workflow for the email that you actually populated it in the
    To: field.
for the third error: I suspect that either your farm is not configured for email.  Or, this error is a knock on from the second error.  If you get the second error rectified it may clear this error.  If not then double check the email settings
    for your farm.

  • OOTB Approval Workflow on Custom List does not Update Approval Status

I have a custom list on which I've required content approval.  I then created a workflow instance from the "Approval - SharePoint 2010" template.  For this workflow I have selected "Update the approval status after the workflow
is completed (use this workflow to control content approval".  When I approve the list item via the workflow task item the status of the item is not updated but stays at pending even though the
workflow shows "Completed" with the Outcome of "approved".  Is this the expected behavior, i.e. does "Update the approval status after the workflow is completed (use this workflow to control content approval"
not work for custom lists?  Does it work on any of the lists?

    Hi Kalos1840,
If you check "Require Content Approval" setting, only the way above can update the approval status due to the approval status is for this approval workflow. As this approval workflow cannot achieve your demand, I recommend you un-check "Require Content Approval"
setting and create a custom workflow such as the OOTB Approval Workflow or SharePoint Designer workflow.
Here is the steps of a SharePoint Designer workflow:
1.Go to your custom list , click Create a Workflow in SharePoint Designer.
2.Add a “Start a task process” action in your workflow.
3.Click “these users” and Start a Task Process edit page will pop up.
4.In the Participants field, input your  approvers based on the order of approval.
5.In the right of Participants field, select “Serial (one at a time)”.

  • The approver does not show in the approval preview after saving sh. cart

    Hi ,
I would appreciate if anyone can reply me for fixing the problem.
Problem: The approver does not show in the approval preview after the shopping cart is saved, however before saving the shopping cart it shows the approver in the approval preview. We are using two workflows: WS10000060 – Auto approval and WS10000276- 1 level spending limit approval.
    Details of the problem:
The following steps specify the problem in detail , it is applicable for both the workflows “WS10000060 – Auto approval and WS10000276- 1 level spending limit approval.”
    1.     Shopping created
    2.     The approval preview shows the approver ( please see #1 in the attached document) before saving the shopping cart.
    3.     Shopping cart is saved.
    4.     After saving , Check status transaction shows the shopping cart in status “awaiting approval”
    5.     The section approval shows “ No workflow started , application error occurred”
    6.     T.Code SWI1 shows the workitem created for the shopping cart but in error.
    7.     The work item container does not show any agents
I would appreciate it anyone can reply as to how to fix it ASAP.
    Best Regards

    Hi Disha,
I have synchronised through SWU_OBUF several times since yesterday , but still at the same place.
In the workflow customising - The only red entry which I have is for check entries from HR control tables under Mainiatin definition env. and Mainiatin guded procedure for gateway under guided procedure (new in SRM 5.0) .The verification workflow works fine . Also I think these entries will not impact the workflow functionalhese were red even in my earlier system .
SLG1 shows all green entries and there are no entries in RZ20.
I have specified task TS10008126 as general task as I want anyone who is identified by SLAapprover should be able to process the workitem and as per documentation I can specify this task as standard task.
What should I do.. , anything am I missing .
    Thanks and Best Regards

  • PO_HEADERS_INTERFACE error- approval status

Into PO_HEADERS_INTERFACE I enter 'APPROVAL' in the APPROVAL_STATUS column and have no issue
I enter 'CANCELED' and get the
    PO_PDOI_INVALID_STATUS error message
Error: Approval Status specified is invalid.
    What values are valid here?

From the code, what I can see is:
The only values allowed as the approval_status are 'INCOMPLETE', 'APPROVED' and 'INITIATE APPROVAL'.

  • Can't retrieve approval status in Globally Reusable Workflow (Approval - Sharepoint 2010)

For day's i am trying to implement the following in one of the standard, out of the box, Globally Reusable Workflow with Sharepoint Designer 2010:
If Current Item:Approval Status not equals 0:#Approved Start Approval Workflow Task process on Current Item with Parameter:Approvers Else //Nothing
This is to prevent that a workflow is started if the item is already approved! The strange thing is, a buddy of mine has also Sharepoint 2010 and he can select in the DropDown list -Current Item: -> Approval Status..
But the only things I can select are the following:
    Content Type
    Created By
    ID
    Modified
    Modified By
    Title
I don't understand what is going wrong! What am i forgetting to configure or bind or set?

    I have found the solution!
I have setup an test environment, Sharepoint 2013 on MS Server 2008R2 and installed Sharepoint Designer 2013. When I now edit the default out of the box "Approval - Sharepoint 2010", if you enter the condition "if current item field equals value", you can
    now select "Approval Status"!!
So this means that it IS available after all! After a lot of trying, searching, this is the solution in a Sharepoint 2010 environment, installed on MS Server 2008R2:
Edit the (global or copied version if you want) workflow.
Add the condition "if current item field equals value" as a step.
Select from the item field: Content Type
Click on "equals" and change it to "not equals"
Then click on the condition and enter manually the following: 0;#Approved
Move the task "Start Approval Workflow Task..." up so it is a part of the condition "If.. "
    Add an Else condition
Enter here your custom action or log to show the user that the Task is not performed.
    Save the workflow.
We now have to manually edit the Workflow Rules file.
In Sharepoint Designer 2010, click at the left side of the ribbon on "All Files".
If you have created a custom workflow, you can find the "Workflow.xoml.rules" file, in the folder
    Workflows/"Your custom workflow"/"CustomWorkflow.xoml.rules".
If you are using the global, out of the box Workflow, you can find the .rules file in:
    _catalogs/wfpub/Approval - SharePoint 2010/ReviewApproval_1033.xoml.rules
Click on the file, then in the next screen click on "Edit file" under Customization. 4.Search for the string "ContentType" 5.When you have found the string, it looks a bit like this:
    ns1:String xmlns:ns1="clr-namespace:System;Assembly=mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089">ContentType ns1:String
(When you look a few lines below this line, you see your added condition 0;#Approved)!
6.Replace the string ContentType with: _ModerationStatus 7.Save the file! 8.Open in the current directory the "Workflow.xoml" file (this is the workflow itself) 9. Click on the Save button, it will give you a notice:
A more recent version of _catalogs/wfpub/Approval - SharePoint 2010/ReviewApproval_1033.xoml.rules has been saved to the server by "user" on 1/5/2014 10:50 AM.
Do you want to replace this with your file?
Click NO! (Important, otherwise it will replace it with the default rules file, and nothing has changed!)
Close Sharepoint Designer 2010, reopen SPD2010 and go to the workflow.
Edit the workflow and you'll see the following now:
    "If Current Item: equals 0;#Approved"
The field Content Type is now gone! This is correct so don't worry!
Publish the workflow and you are done!
Check now on a library that has a link to the edited workflow, when you start a new Workflow on a Approved-Major version of the document, what the outcome is:
The workflow is discarded because of the condition and nothing happened, so your document stays on the most recent Approved-Major version and is not published back to a previous version number!!
Conclusion: I think that the Sharepoint 2010 Designer, is missing that specific "Approval Status" field, but with the solution i have just given, you can solve this!
    C# for the win!

  • SC with awaiting approval status and no work item for Approvers.

    Hi Experts,
We are implementing Classic scenario with SRM7.0 and we are having Application controled Workflow.
We are fasing issue in workflow. On SC getting ordered the status is showing as awaiting approval and there is no work item found in BBP_PD.
When we approve this SC in SWO1 then there is no PO getting created.
If the SC value is less than spend limit we have enabled no Workflow and in that case the approval agent table is showing as System Approver and after SC getting ordered the SC is still with the status Awaiting approval.
Can any once have an idea how to go about with this issue.

  • XML News Approval Status in Layoutset

    Hello,
I'm also having a problem with the approval status. I have added the workflow status to the xml form, but the problem is that the status doesn't change, when submitting or releasing. The statemanagement commands were added to my layoutset, which is a copy from AppBulletinBoardExplorer.
    The layoutset consists of:
    2 collection renderers:
    AppBulletinBoardCollectionRenderer
    AppBulletinBoardHTMLCR
    2 resource renderers:
    AppBulletinBoardResourceRenderer
    AppBulletinBoardSubAreaResourceRenderer
    I have added:
state to the displayed properties and visible properties and the 'Show Resource Properties' to all.
The problem is that the workflow status isn't properly displayed in the xml and that i'm also not able to show the properties outside the xml, in the layoutset.
When I look in the KM content it does display the right workflow status.
I hope that one of you can help me.
    Thank you in advance.
    Greetings,
    Joost Christenhusz
    Does someone got other suggestions?
I found out that in the AppBulletinBoardEditResourceRenderer (in which I the property cm_state) added the settings resource renderer: NewsRenderer is the reason for not showing the property cm_state properly.
This resource renderer is calling a java class however. Changing this renderer into ResourceRenderer shows the state properly, but hides the newsitems.
I hope that anyone can help me.
    Greetings,
    Joost

    Hello Patricio,
Thank you for your trouble. Unfortunately it doesn't work correctly yet. The following happens.
After submitting a document or approving a document the workflow status doesn't change in de renderlistitem. However the correct workflow status does change in de show form. Also does the status in the renderlistitem does when I click on 'generate project' in the XML Form Building.
It looks like the workflow status in the renderlistitem isn't dynamic. How can I change that?
I looked at the global settings form the two forms, but they appear to be the same, except from the HTML Fragment. Changing this doesn't have any effect.
    Thank you in advance.
    Greetings,
    Joost
