PO not synchronized from backend
Hi experts,
when a shopping cart is transfered to the backend system a purchase requisition is created, then a purchase order is created manually with reference to the purchase requisition. But the purchase order is not shown in the shopping cart follow-on documents history, only the purchase requisition is shown. Do you have any idea why? Any important setting is missing?
Thanks for help.
Tomas
Hi Tomas,
Ensure that you have scheduled BBP_GET_STATUS_2 & CLEAN_REQREQ_UP reports in SRM.

Logical identifiant for User Notes synchronized from LDAP
After a synchronization from LDAP to Notes,
The user entry is created, all attributes are OK
The certificate is created and named with %uid%.id
BUT the logical name of the user in the Notes database is constructed as "%givenname%SPACEd/DOMAIN".
I don't understand the SPACE and the character d ?
Thanks for your help !

Less than 6 or more than 8 characters, the logical name is not correct
We can show the partial path of the lotus's data directory.
I can send screenshot to an email Adress if you want
Why this ? It's not usable
PS : All certificates can be viewed without provide password !
Why the LDAP password of the user's entry is not used to open the ID ?

Some notes disappeared from iphone, and others are not synchronizing on ipad, mac, and iphone. What to do?
Hi, MPiaM.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I would need clarification on if you are experiencing an issue with syncing photos via iTunes or iCloud to provide a better answer. However, here are a couple troubleshooting articles that cover both scenarios.

"Operation not supported by backend" while getting photos from camera
The situation is as follows:
I'm trying to copy photos from camera using a file manager (thunar in this case). The attempt fails with a message "Operation not supported by backend".
Configuration:
uname: Linux xxx 3.9.6-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Jun 14 08:12:55 CEST 2013 x86_64 GNU/Linux
libgphoto2 2.5.2-1
gphoto2 2.5.2-1
gvfs 1.16.3-1
gvfs-gphoto2 1.16.3-1
thunar 1.6.3-1
mount info for this case:
gvfsd-fuse on /run/user/1000/gvfs type fuse.gvfsd-fuse (rw,nosuid,nodev,relatime,user_id=1000,group_id=100)
What is known:
Everything was fine on 2013/06/13 - I was performing successfull copying operation on the day.
The exactly same message started to appear on a different machine running Arch, with both unupdated Nautilus from 2.x line and latest pcmanfm. No other machines were tested.
Only copying and moving files/directories via file manager doesn't work. I can browse the camera and delete files and directories with no problems.
I can copy the files using cp (via gvfs mount).
I can grab the files using gphoto2 from command line.
Applications are able to open the files with no problems (via gvfs mount).
Downgrading gvfs, gvfs-gphoto2, gphoto2 and libgphoto2 to versions from before 2013/06/13 doesn't fix the issue.
Logs are clear.
First I suspected that something is wrong with gvfs or libgphoto2, but I'm able to use them with no problems, as long as I don't try to copy a file via file manager. This could mean something is wrong with the file manager, but the issue suddenly affected three different file managers on two independent machines. And the logs remain silent. I have no idea how to deal with the issue.mpan wrote:Usable workaround, not requiring additional tools, was posted in the first post: use cp on mounted partition or gphoto2. The problem is not how to retrieve the files, as this is obvious, but how to copy them using file manager or how to trace source of the problem.
Stupid me. Yes, you mentioned that. Sorry. -

Slave instance can not synchronized with the master for a long time
Hi,
Slave instance can not synchronized with the master for a long time, and the gap of LSNs between slave and master are more and more larger. The transfer bytes per second between master and slave is 118MB/s , upper limit to the ethernet card. Why???
ENVIRONMENT:
1. A network program which we called mcdb is based on BDB 4.8.30. It is used to accept get/set requests and then query data from bdb or save data to bdb.
2. mcdb implements replication with bdb replication manager api. The default start replication policy is DB_REP_ELECTION, rep ack policy is DB_REPMGR_ACKS_ONE_PEER and rep priority is 100.
3. The bdb data files, bdb log files, region files and rep files are all in the same home directory.
4. There are two instances of the mcdb are separately on two standalone servers which has no other programs. These two instances are in one replication group which can elect a master automatically.
5. The master instance is online, which has lots of requests (get, set, delete).
ACTIONS:
1. Start two mcdb instances on two servers and the two instance make a replication group. Slave has already synchronized with the master.
2. Stop the slave for a long time (more than 20 hours).
3. Start the slave instance to synchronize data with master.
RESULT:
1. the gap of LSNs between slave and master are more and more larger.
2. db_stat of master and slave:
master db_stat:
467170 Number of PERM messages not acknowledged
9245 Number of messages queued due to network delay
172415 Number of messages discarded due to queue length
25880 Number of existing connections dropped

Edited by: 899585 on 2013-1-4 下午10:55Hi,
Unfortunately, this issue is beyond the level of what is supported over the forum. Performance related issues are extremely complex and require an in-depth understanding of your environment and dedicated support. In a generic sense, you can look at this as a basic queueing problem. You have a server that went down and work is still coming in. When the server gets started it is possible that it may never catch up depending on new work coming in and the rate at processing the old work.
So what would you do in this case --- one thing would be to reduce the new work coming in. In HA terms this would be slowing the master down and you can increase DB_REP_ACK_TIMEOUT for this. Another thing you could do is add fresh servers to help reduce the workload. In HA terms, this would be the equivalent of restarting the client and give it a fresh look at everything. Another thing you could do is replan the system and load balance. In HA terms, it would mean something like take a hot backup of the master and reinit a client from scratch.
If you are interested in getting a dedicated support person working on this concern, please let me know and we can move forward down that path. Just respond to the thread with your email address and I will get in contact with you so we can pursue that approach.
thanks

For GR material Docc is not posted to backend
Hi,
I have a problem when try to do the GR. We have a PO for 2 line items. User has done the Invoice for these two line items for full Qun but with lesser amount than the PO. After that user have done confirmation for one line item. But this confirmation has not reflected in backend. But can see in SRM in Follow-on document tab. where the material document number (for backend) for this confirmation is not reflect in the follow-on document tab.
Now user is not able to do any other confirmation for 2nd line item or reverse the old one. Could any body inform me what exactly need to be done.
For your information we are using Classis scenario and we are doing the confirmation in SRM only.
Thanks,
PijushPijush,
Since the confirmation is not reflected in the backend, but you are able to do the same in SRM, can you confirm if you have configured message type MBGMCR as outbound (from SRM to ECC) under partner profile in SRM and distributed the same?

Excel Output appears in IE after submitting XDOREPPB from backend
Hello,
I have submitted the XML Report Publisher request with Output Format = EXCEL from Standard Request Submission and after completion clicked View Output, it asks me to save the file as EXCEL format.
While doing the same exercise from backend, it doesnot ask me to save type as EXCEL, rather it automatically opens in the Browser (Internet Explorer).
I'm using the following piece of code

Please help.

Is there a way to create Timecard Templates from backend?
Hello Folks
Is there a way to create Timecard Templates from backend? I tried to create one with the following steps, but did not work. Throws a HXC_HXT_DEP_VAL_ORAERR
The Oracle error is: &ERROR
1. Create TIMECARD_TEMPLATE scope BB using hxc_timestore_deposit.create_bb
2. Create Template_Name Attribute on the above BB
3. Create DAY BB
4. Create DETAIL BB for DAY BB
5. Create Attribute BB for Hours Worked element on the DETAIL BB above
6. Call hxc_timestore_deposit.execute_deposit_process(p_validate => FALSE

Outlook 14.4.8 on iMAC Retina and Yosemite 10.10.2 is not synchronizing with Exchange 2007 anymore (shows "downloading" but no new messages shown in inbox".
Accessing Mails with Webbrowser and from Windows Outlook is working correctly.
All Macs (also the ones with OS 10.6.8) do not anymore show any new messages in inbox.
Restarted Server, tried to disable autodiscover on macs and deleting/adding account and repairing database does not fix the problem. Also restarted server several times.
We have the same problem on 2 imacs retina with yosemite and on 2 mac pro with 10.6.8 and different office 2011 versions.
i tried to configure the exchange account in apple mail on yosemite and it also states "connected" and does list some folders but no new mails are getting in.
Windows clients and outlook on them works and syncs fine, and also when connecting via webbrowser at owa it must be a mac-specific/webdav issue.
exchange 2007 Sp3 Version 8.3 (bild 83.6) and Update Rollup 15 for sp3 (automatic updates "HIGH" for server and clients)
there is one update popping up again and again even after everytime successull installation: Windows Mlicious Software Removal Tool x64 - October 2010.
i tried to configure a new user with empty mailbox and configured it with microsoft mail (mac - yosemite) as exchange and was able to send a mail from there (even if quite delayed).
but there are not coming in any mails.
same exchange accounts triggered by imap do work and also via owa.
Exchange Accounts in Outlook for MAC and also in Mail (Yosemite) do show the folder structures but there is no mails showing up. I can send mails from the exchange accounts created but they seem to be processed with a delay of like 15minutes and outlook
is giving error "end of file reached" but messages are send after some time.
Does seem like EWS is extremely slow, to slow perhaps to sync and therefore ending in timeout.
Also i cannot reach the server from externally over ssl https 443. if testing port 443 of exchange from outside the port seems closed even firewall settings of sbs 2008 and sonicwall ports are correctly open.
could it be there is something in regarding webdav which is very slow and leading to timeouts ?
in application log i do have the following two information events every few minute:
The Exchange Web Services started successfully. Event ID 1
and
Process STORE.EXE (PID=3688). Exchange Active Directory Provider has discovered the following servers with the following characteristics:

Since Outlook running on Windows works well, it seems an issue on the Mac side. I suggest ask Mac for help so that you can get more professional suggestions.

Sold to party refernce data not synchroning properly
Hi Guys,
Today I came across a new issue...
In CRM order we have External reference to sold to party. Here we enter PO number at header level and it will synchronize to R/3.with out any problem.
But when I try to change the PO Number in R/3 order at header level, that value is not synchronizing with CRM header level,
Only for Billed Itemu2019s PO number is getting changed for remaining items it remains unchanged.
Is it standard behavior of system or is there anything we need to change?
Please help me on this,
Thanks & Regards,
ShaikHi Shaik,
Please check the filters in SALESDOCUMENT middleware adapter object in CRM. If proper filters are not in place, it will not send the changes from ECC to CRM.

Error ORA-01152: file 1 was not restored from a sufficiently old backup
Its also not thread just to share info with oracle gurus here.If my findings for the below workaround is wrong then please do correct me.
Sometime you get the error after performing restoring controlfile when you don't have autobackup controlfile on
error ORA-01152: file 1 was not restored from a sufficiently old backup
why?
Cause When you shutdown the database with using the normal, transactional or immediate options not abort a full checkpoint occurs.A full checkpoint ensures that all of the dirty blocks contained in the buffer cache are written to the data files, the database comes into synchronized state at this time i.e controlfile CKPT SCN=databasefile CKPT.
Like in this demo i am not taking backup the database in opened mode

error ORA-01152: file 1 was not restored from a sufficiently old backup
Reason is that CKPT SCN in the datafiles will be ahead of the backupset control file no
full checkpoint occuring. You are not taking backup in consistent state and the
backupset will not be in consistent state. When you will restore the control file from
backupset then yours restored control file SCN will be lesser then yours datafile

PO not generated at backend in classic scenario
Hi,
I am working with SRM 5.0 in classic scenario.
1) I have defined No. ranges for SC and follow-on documents in SPRO. No. range PO is defined for backend (classic) POs. (Checkbox -External is not marked)
PO - From 3005000000 to 3008000000
2) I have assigned this no. range PO to document type 'EC' (Pur Order) as external no. range
3) No. range PO is also defined at R/3 backend for Purchase Orders (checkbox 'External' not marked)
PO - From 3004000000 to 3009999999
4) This no. range is assigned to doc. type EC as Internal no. range in R/3 backend
Now, when I am creating a SC in SRM and ordering it, it is causing an error in creation.
I see the following description in Admin login:
Shopping cart 6500005899 (PO 3005000532): BAPI 001 No instance of object type PurchaseOrder has been created. External reference:
PO no. 3005000532 is picked from no. range PO defined in SRM.
But, in SC screen, I do not see any follow-on documents.
When I check BBP_PD, I find following data:
BE_OBJECT_TYPE -> BUS2012 -> Follow on Document Object Type in backend system
BE_OBJECT_ID -> 3005000535 -> Follow on Document Object ID in backend
(However, this no. belongs to no. range PO defined in SRM. At the backend, the PO no. range starts from 3004000000 to 3009999999)
BE_INFO_REC -> 5300002566
Also, I can see two lines highlighted in Red under Stats:
Status Description Inactive
HEADER I1015 Awaiting Approval X
0000000001 I1111 Item in Transfer Process X
My doubt is that ,
a) Why system is picking PO# from SRM no. range (3005000535) and showing it as backend object ID?
b) When system is able to fetch the Info record information from backend, why the PO is not getting generated at the backend?
Why there is an error in transmission of PO?
Please help.
thanksplz see Peter instructions in this thread

Do not Extract from PSA but Access Data Source (for Small Amounts of Data)
Hi Experts,
In the DTP, the above option is available for Full Loads for certain extractors but not for others, particularly, certain HR extractors?
Is there a way to make it available for HR extractors? Is there a setting that needs to be updated in ECC or in BI?
Thank you for your help!Hi,
There is no special setting for this, Please see the detail description:
Data is not extracted from the PSA for the DataSource; it is requested from the data source directly at DTP runtime.

You use this mode for small data sets and full uploads, for example, small sets of master data. With file source systems, note that the file has to be available on the application server.
Dependencies
You do not have to create an InfoPackage in order to extract data from the source.
Data in the data source is accessed in "direct access mode". This has certain consequences, especially if you are extracting data from SAPI systems:
Data is extracted synchronously. This places a particular demand on the main memory, especially in remote systems.
The SAPI extractors may respond differently than during asynchronous load since they receive information by direct access.
SAPI customer enhancements are not processed. Fields that have been added using the append technology of the DataSource remain empty. The exits RSAP0001, exit_saplrsap_001, exit_saplrsap_002, exit_saplrsap_004 do not run.
If errors occur during processing in BI, you have to extract the data again since the PSA is not available as a buffer. This means that deltas are not possible.
In the DTP, the filter only contains fields that the DataSource allows as selection fields. With an intermediary PSA, you can filter in the DTP by any field.
