PO Requester and Goods receipent info in R/3

When we create a PO in EBP , we have Goods receipient and requester id and name in EBP, where can we find these in PO in R/3.
I can see the requester user id but still cannot see the goods receipient information on the PO which is useful for us when we do a commitment report to clear the outstanding GRs.
Many Thanks.

Hi,
I understand your point. But SAP designed the application such that the requestors create requisitions only when they are in need of the material. That means the material needs to be delivered to the requstors because only requestors can confirm the receipts (GR) in SRM.
Did you try with purchasing assistant role? User with this role can order shopping cart for other users and you can select the person to whom the goods to be delivered. I do not know if this suits your requirement.
In one of my project we handled this requirement with the help of Ship-to address (Delivery address) details. Requestor would enter C/0 field in the ship to address and this field will be passed to Delivery address in backend PO and would be populated on the PO out put. You can also try this.

  • Feature request and how-to info for EXE icons

    I would like to request for future versions of LabVIEW, support for higher resolution, and higher color resolution, icons imported into the compiled application.
    Currently it is possible to use an icon editor to create an icon with several images of different size and color resolution that can be imported as an independent icon in the VI application building process, by selecting the Application Settings tab and loading a custom icon. Currently however the LabVIEW application builder will only import 4 of the images into the executable. These are:
    32x32, 16 color & black/white
    16x16, 16 color & black/white
    Windows however (newer versions anyway) will support higher resolution 48x48 true color icons, which definitely have a more realistic appearance, especially when using shrunken pictures as part or all of the icon.
    As a workaround, using a resource editor these higher resolution icons may be 'hacked' into the compiled executable, but cannot be imported during the build process using a pre-constructed icon (*.ico) file. This is great if you're into doing things manually just to get the job done, but it requires time and effort for each build, and also makes it an out-of-the-question option when building applications from controlled source code. For those reasons, I would like to request this be changed in future versions of the application builder.
    For those interested in icon modification, here are some freeware utilities to try:
    google: "IconEdit32" -- "iedit32.zip" -- Icon editor capable of saving multiple icon variations to a file... easy to use for changing the icons of a LabVIEW app that is going to be compiled.
    google: "peresourceexplorer" -- "PE Resource Explorer" -- Utility to 'hack' into an executable and modify icons so they are higher resolution and higher color resolution than LabVIEW will allow by default.
    google: "Irfanview" -- Highly functional image browsing program -- good in this particular case for resizing jpgs down to icon size so they can be cut and pasted into an icon editor.

    > Is your code posted somewhere? I couldn't find it in the Code Library.
    You mean the LabVIEW VI Library shell extension? No, and it won't be
    posted. To many low level details are in that code I feel are either to
    hackish or to work intense and revealing, that I would feel happy
    posting the source code for it.
    I only put the compiled dll and install script on our server a few years
    ago but since LabVIEW 7.0 has now this shell extension already included
    we didn't bother to get it over to our new site.
    Of course you can compare LabVIEW to the Student Edition of Visual Basic
    or Visual C and then the price difference looks bad. But once you start
    to look into Visual Studio Universal Subscription there is
    not much of a
    difference, and for me C programming is a lot more work in many aspects
    than LabVIEW. And Visual Studio won't even attempt to allow you to
    develop on one platform and deploy for another (ok Java excluded but you
    don't need Visual Studio for that).
    And yes there is Borland C, Symantec C and Watcom C and even CygWin and
    others, from which most are certainly cheaper than Visual Studio and
    some of them even free but they also have their limitations in many ways
    .. Talking about perfect user friendly and convenient operation in any of
    them including Visual Studio is also not true in my experience. They all
    have their strong and weak points and most rely for packaging and
    installer creation on external components such as InstallShield to give
    the developer the ultimate control in how the application should install.
    I'll try to take a look at this when I have some more time, but don't
    keep your breath just now.

    Move cursor onto video.  Right click.  Click Settings,  Click the "never ask again" box. Then click Close.  That will work.
    For some reason, that always worked for me, but in the last two days, it does not work, and it seems to freeze on the
    video.  See, if it works for you.

    Vendor batch No.  : Transaction ZJPMPU322
    (Background)
    There are "vendor batch" and "batch" fields in Goods-in-order and Goods-in-plan lists (transaction ZJPMPU322). Values for these fields are retrieved from inbound delivery document (transaction VL33N). After core 7.0 upgrade, "vendor batch" is not copied from "batch" in inbound delivery document any more so that nothing appears in the vendor batch field in the lists.
    (Change request)
    Values in "vendor batch" in the Goods-in-order and Goods-in-plan lists are retrieved from "batch" in inbound delivery document ONLY IF "vendor batch" is blank in the inbound delivery document.
    (Current design)
    Batch is retrieved from LIPS-CHARG
    Vendor batch is retrieved from LIPS-LICHN
    (If there is no record in LIPS, blank will be printed out for both fields)
    (After change)
    Batch is retrieved from LIPS-CHARG
    Vendor batch is retrieved from LIPS-LICHN only if LIPS-LICHN is not blank.
    If LIPS-LICHN is blank, vendor batch is retrieved from LIPS-CHARG.

    Dear
    Problem No 1 : we are working in a process industries with three plants each of them have three order type. we have define MRP group in "OPPR" then assign each MRP group to Orde types in "OPPE". Now the problem is whn i convert plan order in process order for any material systme automaticaly pick the order type PIi01.
    Answer :
    1.Please check the OPPR -Plant and MRP group -Select Order Type Button -Check what Order Type you have assinged here ( PI01( May be the default Process Order Type )
    2.If you are maintaing MRP group ( 0001 or 0002) , did you asisng the same in MRP1 view ?? because
    3.Did you maintain the similar Order type in OPKP -Define Production Scheduling Profile ? -This has highest priority .
    4.Did you maintain correct order type in OPJH-Maintain Order Type ??
    Refer the expert comments on the same issue : Strategy group to define production order type
    Problem No 2: 2nd Problem is system system is not creating plan order for prrevios dates. say i enter PIR for month of november from first november to 30th november and run MRP on 29th the sytem create plan order on 30th of november with exception message 30.
    Answer : You can plan the order in back dated , if you maitain Satrt date in the Past optiuon in OPU3/OPU5-Define Scheduling parameters .Goto OPU3 -Select the Order Type -Double click -Maintain 90-60 days in the Start Date in the past in Scheduling Control and Details scheduling tab .
    Hope it helps

  • Difference in ITS Leave request and WebDynpro Leave request

    Hello,
    Whats the difference between ITS based leave request and webdynpro based leave request.
    I read that in webdynpro based leave request there is a need for new workflow, other than what is being used in ITS based leave request. If for some period of time both are in place then will it create some kind of problem ?
    Can anybody help me on this. Thanks in adv.

  • Doubts about HTTPS requests and Java proxy

    Hello,
    I need help about SSL connections and Java.
    I'm developing a HTTP/S proxy with Java. To test my proxy, I use Firefox. I configure the proxy option in the browser. The proxy works good with HTTP requests, but with HTTPS requests doesn't work and I don't know why.
    I explain the steps that I do for a HTTPS request:
    * The browser sends a CONNECT message to the proxy.
    I check that the proxy receives the CONNECT request correctly.
    * The proxy establish a secure connection with the content server.
    I use an SSLSocket to connect with my content server, and the SSL handshake is succesful.
    * The proxy sends a 200 HTTP response to the client:
    I send
    HTTP/1.0 200 Connection established[CRLF]
    [CRLF]
    to the application client (Firefox)
    * The proxy sends/receive data to/from Firefox/content server
    I have a Socket between Firefox and my proxy, and a SSLSocket between my proxy and my content server. I use two threads to communicate the client and the server.
    Java code:
    //Thead server-->proxy-->application(Firefox)
    ThreadComm tpa = new ThreadComm(bis_serverSSL, bos_app);
    //Thread application(Firefox)-->proxy-->server
    ThreadComm tap = new ThreadComm(bis_app, bos_serverSSL);
    The "tpa" thread reads from the SSLSocket between the proxy and the server and sends data to the Socket between the proxy and Firefox.
    The "tap" thread reads from the Socket between the proxy and Firefox and sends data to the SSLSocket between the proxy and the server.
    This is the class ThreadComm:
    public class ThreadComm extends Thread{
        private BufferedInputStream bis = null;
        private BufferedOutputStream bos = null;
        public ThreadComm(BufferedInputStream bis, BufferedOutputStream bos) {
            this.bis = bis;
            this.bos = bos;
        @Override
        public void run() {
            int b = -1;
            FileOutputStream fos = null;
              do {
                   try {
                        b = bis.read();
                        System.out.print((char) b);
                        fos.write(b);
                        bos.write(b);
                        bos.flush();
                   } catch (Exception ex) {
                        Logger.getLogger(ThreadAplicacionProxy.class.getName()).log(Level.SEVERE, null, ex);
                        //b=-1;
              } while (b != -1);
        }But this doesn't work and I don't know why.
    I have an Apache server with the mod_ssl enabled as content server, I can send requests (with Firefox) to the port 80(HTTP request) and 443(HTTPS request) without use my proxy and it works. If I use my proxy, HTTP request works but with HTTPS request doesn't work, I look the log of Apache and I see:
    [Tue Apr 27 17:32:03 2010] [info] Initial (No.1) HTTPS request received for child 62 (server localhost:443)
    [Tue Apr 27 17:32:03 2010] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] Invalid method in request \x80\x7f\x01\x03\x01

    [Tue Apr 27 17:32:03 2010] [info] [client 127.0.0.1] Connection closed to child 62 with standard shutdown (server localhost:443)
    Why it say? Invalid method in request \x80\x7f\x01\x03\x01 , my proxy sends the data that the Firefox sends.
    I think than I have follow the explanations of [1] but doesn't work, I have problems in implementation in Java but I don't know where.
    I appreciate any suggestions.
    Thanks for your time.
    [1] http://www.web-cache.com/Writings/Internet-Drafts/draft-luotonen-web-proxy-tunneling-01.txt

    ejp, I have checked the socket between the proxy and server and ... You are right! , I was using the port 80 instead of the 443 (incredible mistake!, I'm sorry). I was convinced that I was using the port 443... Well, is a little step, but I still have not won the war :)
    If I see the log files of Apache, We can see that something goes wrong.

    >
    I think that this happens because Apache receives the data without decrypt, this is the reason because in the log we can see the "Invalid method in request \x80\x7f\x01\x03\x01". This supposition is true?
    ejp, you say that the "Termination is quite tricky." I have changed my code following yours suggestions (using the join and the shutdownOutput) but the threads don't die.
    I explain you what I do:
    (in time 1)
    I launch the thread (threadFirefoxToApache) that reads data from Firefox and sends to Apache.
    I launch the thread (threadApacheToFirefox) that reads data from Apache and sends to Firefox.
    (in time 2)
    threadFirefoxToApache sends the firts data to the server.
    threadApacheToFirefox is waiting that the server says something.
    (in time 3)
    threadFirefoxToApache is waiting that Firefox says something.
    threadApacheToFirefox sends data to Firefox.
    (in time 4)
    threadFirefoxToApache is waiting that Firefox says something.
    threadApacheToFirefox is waiting that Firefox says something.
    and they are waiting... and never finish.
    In time 2, these first data are encrypted. The server receives these data and It doesn't understand. In time 3, the server sends a HTTP response "501 Method Not Implemented", here there is a problem because this data must be encrypt. According to the documentation that I read, the proxy cannot "understand" this data but I can "understand" this data. What's happen?
    Firefox encrypt the data and send to the proxy. This It's correct.
    The proxy encrypt the data another time, because I use the SSLSocket to send the data to the server. Then the server receives the data encrypted two times, when decrypt the data gets the data encrypted one time. And this is the reason why the server doesn't understand the data that sends Firefox. It's correct? May be.
    Then If I want that the server receives the data encrypted one time I need to use the socketToServer, It's correct?
    I will supposed that yes. If I use the socketToServer, the proxy doesn't understand nothing, because the data received from the socketToServer are encrypted (I only see simbols), but the Apache log says that there is a problem with the version? (If I use the socketToServer the threads die)

    What option is the correct? I need use the SSLSocketToServer or socketToServer to send/read the data to/from the server?. Use the SSLSocket has sense because the data travel in a secure socket, but use the Socket also has sense because the data are encrypted and they are protected by this encription. It's complicated...

  • Any way to get more statistics and response-time info from cache processes?

    I'm currently involved in an evaluation of Coherence for use as a global in-core cache/DB for data in the GB range. We'll try to run multiple cache process per cache in order to stay below 512MB heap-space per cache process.
    In order to tune cache access times and understand the dynamic behaviour of the app we'd like to see some statistics info for cache access, e. g.
    - requests processed per cache (process)
    - requests answer time (per request, min, max, avg, median etc.)
    - request answer size (number of cache entries returned, size of entries etc.)
    - whatever else that helps ...
    We are in position to get this kind of statistics info on the application side (when we call Coherence-APIs) but we'd need to see the statistics on a technical level per cache process.
    We know about JMX/MBeans but that does not allow us to come up with log-files for statistical analysis and there is no way to correlate requests from the application to any statistics information (what request did cause what effect).
    Any way to tell the cache processes to provide this kind of (logging) info (mesurements per request) and some summary.

    David,
    In addition to statistics that you can collect at the client tier (measuring the latency of individual cache calls), you could use a number of attributes exposed by the ServiceMBean.
    If you look at a ServiceMBean for your partitioned cache service, the RequestAverageDuration and RequestMaxDuration attributes describe the latency of the underlying communication tier as seen from the client and does not include the serialization/deseriation cost.
    The TaskAverageDuration, TaskMaxBacklog and ThreadAverageActiveCount expose the latency and expenses as seen by the server side, excluding the network tier expenses.
    Also, there are number of statistics exposed by the CacheMBean related to the underlying backing map efficiency such as AverageGetMillis, AverageHitMillis, AverageMissMillis and AveragePutMillis.
    You can also create your own subclasses for backing map implementation and implement custom MBeans that would expose any addition information you wish to collect.

  • EDI - 753Routing Request and 754 Routing Instructions transactions- what SAP ECC6 EDI output type, msg type, msg code, basis idoc is best practice to generate the idoc?

    One of our Trading Partner wishes to implement the 753 Routing Request and 754 Routing Instructions.  Can anyone give me best practice answer the following Questions?  We are on SAP ECC6 R3
    What Application? i.e. V2, V7?
    What output condition to use?  i..e. LALE, LAT2, SEDI????
    What Message type?  i.e SHPADV?
    What Basic Idoc Type? i.e SHPMNT05?
    What Message Code?  i.e. SHPM?
    What Process Code?  i.e. SHPM??
    What Function Module? i.e. IDOC_OUTPUT_SHPMNT??
    Does the SAP Transpotation Module have to be configured for this to be implemented?
    Your comments are greatly appreciated, we have until Nov 1 to be compliant?

    Good Morning,
    While I did not get any responses from my question, yes, I was able to determine what needed to be configured.   I hope the below will help you: This is for SAP ECC6
    The output application for the 753 Routing Request is "V7"
    The output type is "SEDI"
    Transmission medium is "6"
    The Basic Idoc type is "Shipmnt05"
    when setting up your Partner Profile (WE20) add:Message Partner Role "SP" with Message type "SHPADV', Message coed "753", Basic Type "SHPMNT05", Message Control add Application "V7", Message type "SEDI", Process Code "SHPM".
    also http://scn.sap.com/thread/698368 pages 14 and 15 were helpful.
    I have not configured the Inbound 754.  For now the inbound 754 Routing Instructions will be emailed to our traffic department.
    Thank you,
    Have a great day,
    jane

  • Prepayment request and final invoice

    Can anyone help with a question about posting payments to a prepayment request and then reconciling the final invoice. We create a sales order and then a prepayment request for 100% of the sales order. The customer then pays for the goods. We put in the payment under the incoming payment screen against the prepayment invoice. This then closes the prepayment request.
    We then ship the goods to the customer creating a delivery note from the sales order. Then we create a final invoice for the customer. All OK so far I think. Then the help page tells me to go again to the incoming payment screen, select the business partner and then select the prepayment invoice and the final invoice and all will be OK. BUT we cannot add the incoming payment because we get a message " Confirmation amount must be > zero".
    What are we doing wrong. We have tried to do a standard reconciliation in the banking module, but this leaves a double posting amount in the VAT account.

    By Pre Payment I believe you are referring to Down Payment Invoice.  After you have processed an Incoming Payment for the Downpayment invoice there is no need to go to the Incoming Payment again to reconcile the downpayment.
    You would link the downpayment from the AR Invoice itself.  Please read this document https://websmp107.sap-ag.de/~form/sapnet?_FRAME=CONTAINER&_OBJECT=011000358700000738282007E

  • Difference between A/p down payment request and invoice

    hi,
    can any tell me what is difference between A/P downpayment request and Invoice
    Regards
    Srinivas

    Hi Friend,
    I list some information here, which might help you better understand.
    Down Payment Invoices
    The Down Payment Invoice behaves like a regular Invoice. A Down Payment Invoice can be based on a Sales Quotation, a Sales/Purchase Order or a Delivery/Goods Receipt PO in the same way as a regular Invoice; however this will not close the base document.
    A Down Payment Invoice can be cancelled by a Credit Memo; however this Credit Memo cannot be based on multiple Down Payment Invoices.
    In addition, this Credit Memo will not affect the warehouse stock or the stock valuation.
    Note that cash discounts are not available in the Down Payment Invoice.
    The Down Payment Invoice will be displayed in the Tax Report as a regular Invoice (if Deferred Tax is not checked).
    Down Payment Request
    This method of Down Payments is suitable mainly for Germany where it is necessary to show the tax payable at the time of receipt of payment. A journal entry for the tax is created by the payment of a Down Payment Request. The payment will also be displayed in the Tax Report.
    A Down Payment Request can be based on a base document the same way as a regular
    Invoice; however it does not close this base document, i.e. the base document remains
    open and can be copied to another target document if required.
    Kind Regards,

  • Standard and good audio codec with Quicktimes?

    I'm surprised to see there doesn't appear to be any documentation on the audio codecs available in Quicktime.  I have no idea which one's are better than the others, nor what the difference between any of them are... nor even if they are all compatible with all other platforms, etc.
    Could anyone let me know what is a safe (compatible with most/all platforms) and good (good compression and quality) for online quicktimes?
    Audio doesn't have to be incredible... just 'good enough' for 300x200 pixel clips.  Not looking for 'exact frequency responses', etc...  Just something that doesn't sound like sizzling bacon.
    Could someone tell me what their favorites are... and maybe some info on some of them?  Right now, they are completely foreign to me.
    Thanks...
    (If it matters...  WinXP Pro, Adobe Production Suite CS3)

    Ya, it's bizarre....  AE has some features on its Render section, and some on it's export (....ex. You can only set Fast Start if you are exporting, not in the regular render area).
    What I did since then is just render an uncompressed QT of the clip, and brought it into the standalone QT Pro player.  As luck would have it, it allows AAC as an audio codec when doing an H.264 format clip.  So, I'll try that out.
    Ya, I was using IMA 4:1 previous to that... Seemed safe.  Previous to THAT (up to a day or two ago), I was always using None, as I had no clue about any of the audio codecs, since the manual doesn't appear to make any mention of them.
    I'm STILL trying to get my QTs to Fast Start...  Something seriously wrong....  The HTML code AND the files SEEM to be fine, yet it still won't do it.... (although it did do it once or twice, but not since, while I was testing yesterday).
    I'm trying exporting completely out of the standalone QT Pro player... I suspect something is fishy with AE's Fast Start encoding.  Should work 'out of the box'...  No idea why it's not....

  • On chain-request and input

    Hi Experts
                   Can you pls explain me whats the difference between
        on chain-request and on chain-input.
                I tried both in a situation, but not able to find the differenciation.
               Pls advise me with suitable example.
    Regards
    Rajaram

    HI Raja ,
    Hope you are doing good .
    First of all Chain ....end chain is used for validating multiple fields within a particular processing chain,just have a look at the below code:
    ex1:
    Chain
    field v_lifnr module test_lifnr on chain input.
    end chain.
    Module test_lifnr will be triggered only if v_lifnr is not initial
    and validation will be done.
    ex2:
    Chain
    field v_lifnr module test_lifnr on chain request.
    end chain.
    here module test_lifnr  will be triggered in case the value of v_lifnr is changed.
    by change i mean from initial to "aaa" or "aaa" to any other value.
    ex3:
    Chain
    field v_accgrp .
    field v_lifnr module test_lifnr on chain input.
    field v_nam module test_name on chain request.
    end chain.
    in this case module test_lifnr  will be triggered in case
    v_accgrp or v_lifnr is not initial.
    and module test_name  will be triggered for all the fields mentioned before it i mean in
    case any chnge occurs in fields v_accgrp,v_lifnr or v_nam.
    in case you dont make any change in field v_name and still the module
    test_name can be triggered in case any change occurs in field v_lifnr or v_accgrp.
    Thanks.

  • JAX WS request and Resonse Help

    Good day Guys,
    Can anybody help me with a example or tutorial to create a JAX WEb Service.
    What i need to do is to process a complex XML SOAP request and provide a response or a Fault message.
    I have the three XSD Schemas but i dont really know where to start.
    Thanks in advance.

    This (http://www.javaworld.com/javaworld/jw-02-2007/images/jw-02-handler6.jpg) shows when the soap handler is executed in the request/response chain.
    What could be the case is that the bytes you are writing to the PrintStream are still buffered, by calling flush any buffered output bytes are written to the underlying output stream.
    Also do not forget to close the PrintStream. http://docs.oracle.com/javase/1.5.0/docs/api/java/io/PrintStream.html#flush()

    while chekcing the material  price, goods issue price is less than the goods recipt price.( total value / total stock )
    what is the possibilities of the difference and where we can identify the changes.?
    price also not updated through MR21.
    regards,
    Vinay

    hi vinay,
    Please check the order prices for the material. Are you purchasing the material from a single vendor or multiple vendors? What is the price that you have maintained for each vendor in the info-records? If you have maintained different prices, the valuation of your material will keep changing with each GR since your material has price control V. During GR, the P.O. price is taken. During GI, the Moving Average price is taken from material master. When you do the goods issue at the end of the month, the Moving average price AT THAT POINT OF TIME  is taken for posting to the Consumption Account / Stock Account. Hence, you will have a difference in the GR / GI values. I suggest, after every GR, you go to MB03. Check the material document and the accounting document. Alongside, look at the Accounting View of the material and note the M.A. price. When you do the GI, note the M.A. price.
    Revert back if not clear.
    Regards,
    Rahul.

  • Update Requestor and Goods Recipient in Purchase Order/Shopping Cart

    Hello guys,
    we have created a Z program that transfers objects Purchase Order/Shopping Cart from one user to another.
    In our Z program we transfer the CRMD_PARTNER-PARTNER_NO, ADDR_NR and ADDR_NP from the old user to the new user.
    Also in CRMD_ORDERADM_H and CRMD_ORDERADM_I we change the field CREATED_BY from the old user to the new user.
    The problem we have seen is that in header position in SRM portal we see the old user in Requestor and Goods Recipient, and in table CRMD_PARTNER the PARTNER_NO is the new user, Another strange thing is that if we see detailed position of the Purchase Order we see the new user in Requestor and in Good Recipient.
    In resume, we see different things in position that in header. Could it be possible? We are doing wrong the update?
    Many thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Xavier.

    Hello Xavier,
    If partner "Requester" and/or "Goods Recipient" is different between PO items and there was previously a "Requester" and/or a "Goods Recipient" at PO header, after your update, partner at header level should have field CRMD_PARTNER-DISABLED set: "Requester" and /or "Goods Recipient" is active at header level only if the same partner is populated for all PO items.
    Concerning SC, there is no "Requester" and/or "Goods Recipient" at header level.
    Be that as it may, if you use function modules BBP_PD_PO_UPDATE,  BBP_PD_PO_SAVE and BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT, modifications will be OK (do not forget to not populate table I_PARTNER for partner at header level if partners are different at item level).
    Regards.
    Laurent.
