PO resubmittion

Hi wf geeks,
I have a requirement in PO release where a notification mail has to be sent to the approving person if a workitem is waiting in his inbox . The subject for notification mail is "PO is submitted by creator" For this i used mail step for notification.It is working fine.Now the client wants a notification mail to be sent to the approver if a PO is rejected by approver and resubmitted by the PO creator .He wants the subject for this notification mail as "PO resubmitted by creator" .As the same workflow is triggering in this case, can we set subject by the above requirement of the client.

Hi Hari,
the ReleaseStatus works this way, if there are 2 approvers, PO is created, in the table you would find the status as empty, now workitem goes to Approver1, he approves it, status field becomes 'X', workitem goes to Approver2, he approves it, status field becomes 'XX'. (this can go till 8 approvals)
I hope in your case workitems are sent to Approvers, or is it just a notification that PO is pending?
I still feel you could use the ResetRelease method for PO that gets rejected and ChangeEvent to send mail to the approver again if the creator changes the rejected PO.

Issue with Resubmission in WS12300111

Hi Experts,
In my leave workflow when a request is rejected by the employee I am getting a workitem in my portal "Process Leave Request by Employee", when I resubmit the request system is triggering a new request instead of provcessing the same request, I mean when I take a look at the log its not following the loop after resubmission and I am unable to withdraw the request when it is rejected by the approver.
The work item "Process Leave Request by Employee" is not getting disappeard in the portal.
Can anbody suggest how to process the same request and how to cancel the request when rejected.

Basically, the standard workflow template design itself will have a task saying that when the leave request is rejected by the manager then again it goes to the meployee who triggered the WF i mean initiator. and the task number is 12300116 right?
Now check t he workflow tempalte design that aftern loop you should have this task inserted

You mean to say that when you resubmit the workitem from the requestor list then it is not disappearing from his list?
if this is the case then does the application is throughing any error say " Workitem already in status completed" som thing like that
Ithink the workitem is not getting completed check in the class CL_PT_REQ_WF_PROCESSOR -> ContinueWorkflow() in that the workitem will be getting completed each time when ever you try to execute the request. now chek whether the correct workitem is getting completed or not.

System Error while sending the IDOC to Broker

Dear Gurus ,
Due to system eroor - tRFC are failed . To reprocess failed tRFC I am using RSARFCEX and scheduling the program as job with the frequency of every 5 min. It does delete the entry from SM58 and shows like it has been processed . But when i checked with the Broker It is not . But when i execute the same program manually ( SE38) . It works perfectly fine . Any input is welcome .
I have gone though many forum for the same issue some of them suggesting to The automatic resend is configured under SM59 by making changes to your RFC destination. The RFC Destination can be assigned tRFC parameters consisting of three values. (This is done through the tRFC Options selection in the Destination menu under sm59.) These options are:
a.Suppress background job if connection error
If this flag is set to X and a connection error occurs there is no automatic resubmittal of the transaction to the external application. If it is not set, jobs are automatically created according to the following two parameters.
But i am not convinced as this looks like that it is related to communication error . but in my case it is system error .
Would be great If anybody can suggest whether above option is mandatory for any tRFC failure or not ?

Thanks for asking . Yes As far system permission is concerned that is fine . As mentioned it works fine with manual process but It does not work when job is scheduled . But at the same time there is no error tracked in SAP .

ESB_JAVA_DEFERRED queue

Hi,
I'm very new to SOA world and have little knowledge about ESB and BPEL schemas. My question is related to ESB_JAVA_DEFERRED queue. We have a message stuck in this queue for last one week, can anyone tell me whether I can manually dequeue it? What is the purpose of this queue? I searched a lot but could not find any information related to ESB or BPEL schemas.
Any help would be great.

I could not find these in oc4j-connectors.xml and jms.xml file
But , we saw this error while Database was crashed and BPEL process being called from ESB had database adapter in it .
After Database was up , we are not seeing any errors.
Also , wondering why these ESBs have not gone into resubmittbale mode,. Is there any setting so that ESBs can be put in resubmittable mode in case of any issue while calling BPEL Process.?

Resubmit and notification in case of error

In Oracle B2B if there is error while sending outbound or Inbound message, how can we resubmit the messages automatically.
Also is there any way to send the notification in case of error while sending the messages.

1. Through UI (http://blogs.oracle.com/oracleb2bgurus/2009/09/what_do_i_like_most_in_11g_-_r.html)
2. Through Resubmit command line utility (http://blogs.oracle.com/oracleb2bgurus/2009/09/b2b_commandline_utilities.html)
Notification is not an in built mechanism in Oracle b2b. You may like to implement the same using BPEL. As Nitesh mentioned, by default exception/error message is enqueued to IP_IN_QUEUE and has the recipient name b2berroruser. You may develope a BPEL process listening for error messages (recipient name=b2berroruser), and perform required notification processing (EMail, SMS, Fax etc.) in that.

Purchase order fax notification in case of error

Hello Everybody,
We have the following scenario:
ERP 6.0
sending purchase order via fax manually(ME9f) after approval
when fax doesn't reach the recepient, usually the person who sent the fax, automatically receives a document to SAP inbox with information that fax with PO nr xxx did not reached the recepient. However in some cases, it goes not to the sender but the approver. Does anybody knows the rules here? If I go to SOST transaction I can see that in those 'weird' cases, the approver is the sender but users say, that he never sends any POs. Any clue what can it be?

Actuaaly the problem is Resubmittion of park document did not work- XXXXXX. I got this issue from user.
We can solve this issue when get all details from user like Company code and etc.... But I could not interest to ask these details to user.
I'm just thinking where can we find all details with document number only.

Controling back arrow on browser

Hi,
Scenario
I search for a boxer and I select it then click on the link to another boxer he had a fight with. If I hit the back button on the browser it goes to the previous page with the previous boxer which is fine. Now when I do a sort and the page is re-submitted it shows the boxer he had a fight with and not the current one showing.
How do I save the boxer id in the url showing and use it in the current sort?

- Do you have processes? Dynamic actions? What code are you using? --- page process to redirect back to the current page when you change the sort
I am calling a package to display a list of records for a given boxer id.
When i select a boxer it does a redirect to the same page and lists his bouts.
If I then hit the back arrow to go to the previous boxer it displays it but when I change the sort select list to sort by date it resubmitts with the boxer id I was on before.
Basically I want to use the current boxer id showing on the page but in my branch redirect when I change the sort select list uses the cached boxer id.

I need to ask for an extension for when old phone is to be returned

I took the new phone out to Verizon to help me transfer numbers etc. I was there for over 2 1/2 hours just trying to access and set up the phone.
I have come to realize that a number of contacts did not transfer and I have to go thru the old phone contacts and resubmitt. I was told that
phone is to be returned within 4 days. I am asking for an extension because there are issues with the new phone. The "speaker" does not work
on retrieving messages. So I will need to return to Verizon and see what needs to be done. Thank you, Valerie Esler

You need to call Verizon.
I've asked our hosts to edit out your phone number. By posting it on a forum with over 10million users, you just might have to change it .
