Pop up and redirect

Hi,
How can I implement the following:
After an order form is completed the user presses the submit button. I have item validations that fire. If the order is valid, I would like to pop up a printer friendly page with confirmation of the order details AND redirect the parent page to another page.
Any ideas please.
Thanks
Sajit

you could just have your page submit as normal and conditionally pop up the printer-friendly one from the next 'parent' page. one way to do that would be to have the branch from your order page to the next page set the value of REQUEST to something like 'POPCONFIRM'. then when your next page renders have an html region there that renders only when :REQUEST = 'POPCONFIRM'. have that region pop the confirmation page up w/something like...
<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
popupURL('f?p=&APP_ID.:2:&APP_SESSION.::::::YES');
</script>
...assuming, of course, that page 2 is your confirmation page.
hope this helps,
raj

  • Pop-ups and redirects

    I am getting a ton of pop-ups and redirects when connected to my home internet service. My ISP claims it not them. This doesn't happen when I travel or when I use my business internet service from another provider. My wife has the same issue. Between us we have three iPads and all exhibit the same issue.

    You could try a pop up blocker on the iPad - I use this one

  • Adware pop ups and redirects to strange websites....

    I have the 10.9.3 software on my mac. I recently downloaded the adware removal tool from thesafemac because I had a bunch of pop ups and redirects in safari. Here are a few examples of whats popping up: mackeeperapp2.zeobit.com & unizz.exclusiverewards.dollfield.eu
    It also started affecting both my wife’s and my iPhones 5s and ipad air in safari - lots of redirects and taking me to the App Store…
    Any idea how to move forward with this?

    There are two possibilities: either the router has been hacked to direct DNS queries to a malicious server, or it's using the right DNS servers, but those servers have been hacked. The first possibility is more likely.
    Follow the manufacturer's instructions to reset the router to the default state. Usually that involves inserting the end of a straightened paper clip or a similar tool into a pinhole somewhere in the back of the device, and pressing a switch inside for about 15 seconds. The pinhole may be marked "RESET."
    Repeat the initial setup process. Make sure the router does not allow remote setup from the Internet (WAN port), if it has that feature—most do. The DNS servers should be set automatically by your ISP. If you still have trouble with those servers selected, contact your ISP.
    Another option, if your ISP fails to secure its servers promptly, is to use an alternative DNS service such as Google DNS or OpenDNS. I don't recommend either one. Don't believe the marketing hype about OpenDNS, in particular. There are no advantages to using it if your ISP is delivering the service you pay for.
    If you have a wireless network, it must be secured with WPA 2 encryption. The passwords for the network and the router must each be a string of at least 10 random upper- and lower-case letters and digits, and they should be different. Any password that you can remember is weak.

  • Pop ups and redirect of sites

    One of the reason I use and recommend to others to your sites is that very very few pop ups and advertisement did not hinder ones website searches lately even the sites I commonly are inundated with pop us join this use that it's to the point that I am seriously think of looking for a new browser and leave Firefox and remove it from my phone lately I can't even sync up any more by the way, also not using it it on my business computers your answer to these questions are eagerly awaiting a resolution
    Thank you for your time

    hello Vantabus, frequent pop-ups might be a sign of adware/malware that is active on your system. please try these steps:
    # [[Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems|reset firefox]] (this will keep your bookmarks and passwords)
    # afterwards go to firefox > addons > extensions and in case there are still extensions listed there, disable them.
    # finally run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes] and [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner] to make sure that adware isn't present in other places of your system as well.

  • Random Pop Ups and Redirects All Over the Place

    I have a new macbook air and today I had random ads showing up everywhere. Earlier today I did download a program that was suppose to help me play old movies, or so I thought. I also am being redirected to random websites and other random sites appear in a new window. My firefox is on and I have pop up blocks checked. What do I do?!

    Looks like you got one of the Malwares that are in the wild infecting Macs.
    You can use the Adware Removal Tool available at http://www.thesafemac.com/art to remove it.
    You might also consider installing Anti Virus software that also offers real time protection so that it will reduce the chances of you getting infected in the future.
    I recommend installing avast! Free anti Virus for Mac for this. (http://www.avast.com)  Avast does an excellent job at detecting Mac malware that is out there on the web. It can detect and block these before you run the installers. It will also catch the majority of Windows viruses that you may get in email so that you do not accidently forward them in mail to a Windows user.
    When you 1st install this, you should run a scan of your computer, make sure that you set the Detail level to "Infections Only". Otherwise you may delete some files that may be needed by your system or other apps.
    Just note that you should still be careful on the web even if you do have Anti Virus software installed. Even though the software may catch most malicious software some may get through.

  • When I type an address in my browser My Start keeps popping in and redirecting.How do I get rid of this?

    This started 2 days ago. If I click a link ,often, or if I type an address into my browser, the My Start page pops in. I don't want this. How do I get rid of it. My homepage is still my own.

    Thanks. I got rid of Web Assistant in extensions and it appears to be gone.
    All seems to be well now.

  • Even though my pop up blocker is engaged, I am constantly getting pop ups and being redirected to advertising sites! how do i end this commercial annoyance?

    sometimes it happens when I click on links, and often windows will open in the background and I don't notice they are there until they begin their vocal ads!

    Do not install MacKeeper (and how to uninstall it if you have):

    Adding Open DNS codes to your Network Preferences, should give good results in terms of speed-up* as well as added security, (including anti-phishing and redirects) (Full information about Open DNS is here:   http://www.opendns.com/home-solutions and here:  http://www.opendns.com/technology/opendns-vs-google-public-dns/ )

    If you are using a single computer: Open System Preferences/Network. Double click on your connection type, or select it in the drop-down menu, and in the box marked 'DNS Servers' add the following two numbers:

  • ISe with NAC agent pop up and Posture waiting

    Hi,
    I have ISE running ver 1.1.1.268. We limited access certain services before authuenticate with ACL-DEFAULT(given below) as per the Trustsec desgin guide.
    Now the issue is that when you have ACL-DEFAULT on the port NAC agent doest not pop-up and doest not start the posture part and saying waiting for Posture validation. When the ACL-DEFAULT removed from the access port NAC agent popup and do the posture validation.
    However we do not want user to get access to network before the authorization and that is the reason we use the ACL-DEFAULT.
    Please can someone advise me how to achieve the above both task. Why the NAC agent does not popup and do the posture when ACL-DEFAULT there in the switch.
    Here is what I have configured on ACL-DEFAULT.

    permit tcp any host 172.xx.xx.xx eq 8443 (ISE-Sec)
    remark Drop all the rest
    deny   ip any any log
    Appreciate if someone can give a solid resolution and explanation to this.

    Hi Saurav,
    We have already allowed those ports with another acl (ACL-POSTURE-REDIRECT). Our issue is not with the web nac agent.
    The issue is with NAC agent installed on corperate PCs connecting via wired port. With the ACL-DEFAULT it does not pop-up and does not do the posturing, however once we removed the ACL-DEFAULT from the access port, everything works fine.
    Since we do not want any user to access unwanted services before authorization we add this ACL on the access-port and as per the trustsec desgin this has to be there if you want to have ISE with closed mode.
    thanks

  • Session Time Out and Redirect to login page - urgent

    My problem is I want to display alert message and redirect to the home page when session expires.
    Iam using TimeOutListener in my application as follows.
    public PhaseId getPhaseId() {
    return PhaseId.ANY_PHASE;
    public void beforePhase(PhaseEvent phaseEvent) {
         FacesContext facesContext = phaseEvent.getFacesContext();
    HttpSession sessionx = (HttpSession)facesContext.getExternalContext().getSession(false);
    if(sessionx == null) {
         FacesUtils.sessionCheck = true;
    String ampee = (String)((HttpServletRequest)FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().getRequest()).getAttribute("ampee");
    if(ampee != null && ampee.equals("ampee")) FacesUtils.sessionCheck = false;
    if(phaseEvent.getPhaseId() == PhaseId.RENDER_RESPONSE) {
         if(FacesUtils.sessionCheck){
         facesContext.getApplication().getNavigationHandler().handleNavigation(facesContext, "", "sessionExpired" );
         FacesUtils.sessionCheck = false;
    ExternalContext externalContext = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext();
              HttpServletRequest request = (HttpServletRequest) externalContext.getRequest();
              HttpSession session = request.getSession();
              if (session.isNew()) {
                   try {
                   String errorPageURL = externalContext.getRequestContextPath() +
                   "/index.jsf?errorpage=true";
                   externalContext.redirect(errorPageURL);
                   }catch(Exception e){
                        e.printStackTrace();
    here i have appended param errorPage=true...
    in jsp page i have used following code to get the param<% if(request.getParameter(errorPage)!=null && request.getParameter(errorPage).equals("true")){%>
    <script>alert("session expired");</script>
    <%
    %>
    Can any one help me how to Implement this?
    Do u know another way pls let me know...

    Consider using the Javascript setTimeout() function in conjunction with HttpSession#getMaxInactiveInterval(). The HttpSession#getMaxInactiveInterval() returns the remaining seconds of the session lifetime.
    Basic example:<script>
        setTimeout("alert('The session will timeout after one minute.')", <%= (session.getMaxInactiveInterval() * 1000) - 60000 %>);
    </script>I've given the client one minute (60000ms) extra time space to respond accordingly.
    Use this in combination with the following head:
    <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="<%= session.getMaxInactiveInterval() %>;url=login.jsf">which will redirect to login.jsf if the session is timed out. You can also redirect to another page of your taste, e.g. error.jsf or so.

  • Submit Action and Redirect page in Tabular form Column Link

    Hi All,
    I have a scenario to submit the current page and redirect to another page with the arguments, when i clink on the link which is created using column link in Report Attributes.
    I can able to perform the submit action, but redirection is not happening.
    Created a column link on non database column by providing
    Link Attribute :     <a href="#" onclick="doSubmit('SAVE')">#FAM_DET#</a>
    Target : Page in this application
    Page : 7

    Remove the link attribute (what you have used there is not the correct way to use this property anyway).
    Change the target page to the same page as the report.
    Set the Column Link Request property to BRANCH_TO_PAGE_ACCEPT|SAVE.
    Create an On Submit: After Processing (After Computation, Validation, and Processing) branch to page 7, conditional on the SAVE request.
    If the SAVE request can be triggered by something other than the report link (e.g. a Save button) then use another request value that will trigger the required page process in the link request and branch condition, e.g. BRANCH_TO_PAGE_ACCEPT|APPLY and APPLY respectively.
    Note that there is a bug in BRANCH_TO_PAGE_ACCEPT processing in APEX 4.2.3 and a patchset exception must be installed for this approach to work on this APEX release.

  • Text Caption will not pop up and go away.  It is there the whole slide

    I have a Text Caption box that I am wanting to pop up and
    give a Hint on how to answer a question slide and then go away
    after a few seconds.
    I have this in the Options tab for it:
    Display for: specific time: 2.2 seconds
    Appear after: .3 seconds
    Effect: Fade in and out
    In: .4 seconds Out: .5 seconds

    Welcome to our community
    Is this a standard Text Caption and you are inserting it on a
    Question Slide? If so, perhaps the buttons or overall construction
    of the Question Slide are pausing it so the caption is simply
    appearing to remain on the slide the entire time.
    If you are unable to futz with the timing to get the result
    you want, you might try creating a small Captivate project that
    only has the caption fading into view briefly, then fading out.
    Publish that as a SWF and insert it on your question slide.
    Hopefully something here was helpful... Rick

  • Mid 2011 macbook air. command key has popped off and is now missing the 2nd metal bar. can this be replaced?

    The command key popped off my mid 2011 macbook air. It is meant to have two metal bars but can't find the 2nd one. I have clicked it back into place but if I press the button at the bottom the top pops up and I'm worried that if I don't fix the problem I may end up losing the key altogether!
    Can you buy replacement metal bars? should I just remove the other bar completely?
    Thanks in advance.

    Sorry, must have been the crackpipe I smoked last night! LOL
    You won't see anything in the Application Support --> Bootcamp folder unless you have previously downloaded the Windows Support Software. Good find.
    ADDENDUM STEP:
    This step should be placed between 9-10.
    Open Bootcamp Assistant. Uncheck everything BUT, "DOWNLOAD THE LATEST WINDOWS SUPPORT SOFTWARE FROM APPLE". You will be prompted to burn the image to a CD/DVD or save to a USB Key. Save the image to a USB key. This will format your USB key properly in preparation for the files. The download commences and if you're lucky, the files will simply be saved to your USB key without having to manually copy them over to the key using the steps above.
    IMPORTANT - Even if the support software hangs when its being saved to the USB key, you should now be able to navigate to the directory and see the image. Follow the steps above.
    Apologies for missing this.
    Best,
    WBN
