Pop-up message 'OK' button

Hi guys,
Can I link the 'OK' button to another event then a 'button click' like a boolean variable. I want the dialog to dissapear and go to the next step when a boolean variable get 'true' state.

I haven't got sight of the MessagePopUp at the moment, but I think the Timeout control is on the same screen as the other buttons. You just have to enter a value which is in seconds eg enter 10 and this will remove the MessagePopup after 10 seconds which the Active Button activates. Check the TestSTand Help for more information on the MessagePopup Tabs

I'm having this same problem as well and cannot advance--very irritating. All of the information is filled out correctly and I've editted my AppleID information online separately as well to get around this issue, but no luck...

I have windows 8 enterprise OS and iTunes ver. 10.5.0.142. I was upgrading my iPad to IOS 6.1.3. After finishing the upgrade my iPad Reboot and currently stucked-up in a plug-in screen and iTunes Logo. How to make a pop up that pause the program (during pop up) and click button to continue OR stop the program

Hi people,
I am using LabVIEW to create a testing program to test a power system. The testing lasts for a loop of 90 minutes.
I would like to make a pop up when the testing is completed. When the pop up message appear, the whole program should be paused (NOT STOP) and when the two buttons (continue, stop) are pressed, the program should continue to run OR stop. [To start another loop of testing in order to make sure data collected is accurate and consistent.]
How do I make this kind of pop up window? I have totally no idea how to work on this. I will be very appreciated if someone could give me some suggestions/help regarding this.

I do not see why you need these 3 while loops. This task could be done with a single while loop, or max 2. Why you need loop A? You could generate data from this array inside loop B. You must use the DAQ and device control part in separate while loops? Maybe you could simplify you code to have one single while loop: at every iteration you could send a new control command to your device(s), and after this do a DAQ measurement.

How to get a pop up message in the portal??

Hi, try by doing a custom html page based on the page you're using for Performance Mgmt, then add the html+javascript code for a popup display through SE80.

How to configure a pop up message when creating an appraisal?

I have a question.
When the supervisor creates an appraisal for an employee, the supervisor is obligated to create Objectives for the employee but creating Competencies are only optional for executives (people group). When the supervisor has finished creating the appraisal and wants to review it, he will need to click on a Continue button.
When the continue button is pressed, a warning pop up message will appear if the competencies created was null. As it is only a warning pop up message the supervisor can just click ok and continue to the review page.
Now I am needed to configure this pop up message for the appraisal creation page and I would like to know how do I go about in searching for it? Should it be in the OAF java files or is the pop up message can be configured using personalization? I just want to know how to search for the configuration of this pop up message. Thank you

Hi Sheela,
Though you made 'Dataline' field as mandatory, system will throw an error message and will put MOUSE CURSOR on that missing field. So ultimately user would come to know that a particular field is missing.
And in SAP there would be lots of mandatory fields and it's really not feasible to put pop-up messages for such requirements and that too in transactions like CMR.
Tell user that system will automatically put MOUSE CURSOR on a particular mandatory field anytime anybody misses to maintain it. As a SAP consultant, your job is to convince the user with such standard functions.
If at all you want to put pop-up message for it, then you need to go for User Exit development.
Revert back if any further issue.

What's with this "stay connected" pop up message?

Hi all,
I just got a new G5 Intel iMac and have had great success transfering all of my setting and data from my old g4 iMac via the Migration Assistant and Target Disk Mode to the new machine. No problems at all. It was a breeze!
However, now that the new machine is up and running I periodically get this message: "This is your reminder that your connection is still active. Do you wish to remain connected?" Then it offers two buttons: " Disconnect" and "Stay connected" I remember that with an older version of OS 10, either Panther or Jaguar, I would get such messages but there was a System Preferences panel in which you could shut this message off and stay permanently online without having to hang around during long downloads and punching the "Stay connected" button. This message never appeared on the old G4 iMac even though I was running the very same version of Tiger (10.4.8) on it that I now have on the new iMac. Apparently the setting to turn off this message didn't transfer over and, what's worse, there is nowhere I can find in the Tiger System Preferences where I can shut it off.
Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks for the quick response! I looked at the "about this Mac" in the Apple menu and here's what it states:
"2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo"
I tell you this because I originally posted this question in the iMac G5 forum and they told me to post it over here in the Intel Mac forum. I'm starting to get even more confused.
Also, I looked again at the Network setting in System Preferences and there is no PPP or Options choice anywhere. Instead it just tells me this:
"Built-in Ethernet is set up to use PPPoE." and "You are connected to the internet via Built-in Ethernet."
And I am indeed connected via the ethernet port to a DSL modem. I do remember in previous versions of OS 10 doing exactly what you suggested in your post to get that blasted pop-up message to stop annoying me and, like you said, "Problem [was] gone". This message never bothered me on my old iMac g4 (which was a power PC Mac) but now, maybe because of this new chip it's baaaaaack So with this further information do you have any other ideas?

Trying to make a pop up message for a loan calculator

Yes this is very basic, but I am very basic. I am using the init() method, and paint() method "classes" as applet to make a loan calculator. I have the calculating all done, and correct, but if someone puts in a nonreal number, or an amount they want to take in less than 0 I want the pop up message tell them they are crazy. How would I create a message popup? The code below is the full code for my loan calculator.

I'm being shown an error pop-up message periodically saying "There was a problem connecting to the server. URLs with the type 'file:' are not supported." I have a brand new MacBook Pro, and at no time am I actually having trouble connecting to the server.

Pop up message when visiting Flash sites

I'm having a new thing happen when I visit sites done with
Flash. A highlighted outline appears around the document and a
pop-up message says "click to activate and use this control". Once
I click it the site works fine. When leaving the site and returning
it will alternately say "press space bar or enter to activate and
use this control", and then again once pressed the site works fine.
This just started happening in the last day or so. Any insight to
why this happening would be so appreciated. I have a link to a
sreen shot jpg of the problem.

Its not something MS really wanted to do. And EOLAS could
just as easily do
the same to Firefox .. if there was any money in it for them.
They say that
they do not want to charge patent fees for open source free
browsers. But I
wouldn't trust them. IE is free .. and they went after its
owner,
Microsoft, because there was money to be made for EOLAS. If
there was money
to make from Firefox, you can bet your bottom dollar that
EOLAS would sue
them as well.
Anyway . .the problem will start disappearing soon enough as
web sites are
modified to work nicer with IE. Anyone who wants to keep
their nice visitor
experience with the most common browser (ie. IE) will change

How to capture DB Errors and display as pop-up message

I am using Jdeveloper 11g Release 2 (11.1.2.3.0).
In my AppModuleImpl.java, I defined a class to call PL/SQL procedure and exposed the same as Client interface. Pulled this method from data control on to a page a Button. The functionality is working fine.
Can you suggest me, what is best way to achieve the below functionality.
1. If there is any DB errors during PL/SQL procedure, how to catch and display the Errors / Warning in Pop-up message.
2. How to display info message on successful completion in Pop-up.

SQL plus pop up message dialog

Dear all,
Did anyone come across any experience like that:
When I execute a SQL statment that may need return a several thousands line in SQLPlus,
If I used SQLPlus version 3.3.4.00 (Oracle 7), a pop up message dialog will come up like
"Query is Executing ..." and a "Cancel" button is available in dialog box also.
However, If I used SQLPlus version 8.0.5 (Oracle 8 or laster), this pop up won't show up anymore.
The pop up is useful if I need to break the process and I just want to know if anything is required to configured on latest SQLPlus to activate this!

The removal of the cancel dialog was an unfortunate side effect
of an internal rewrite of SQL*Plus code in 8.0. The fundamental
problem still persists into 9i and it is not until 9i release 2
(being touted on www.oracle.com) that the iSQL*Plus web interface
(though not the SQL*Plus GUI on Windows) has a cancel button.
This was spoken about on the OTN iSQL*Pus discussion forum a
while back.

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to pop up a message when saving document.
To achieve it, you should custom the edit form page.
You can use the SharePoint Designer
to customize the behavior of the "save" button.
You should add the "onclick" method to the submit button, and put your JavaScript there.

You can also use the event receiver, when the files have been uploaded or edited to call the event receiver to open a pop up dialog.
