Pop up message required urgent!!!

Hello Gurus,
I have a two field's on the selection screen and when these two fields are initial ie., if the user doesn't enter any values then I need a pop up message to be displayed ..until the user fills the two field values..
awaiting for u r replies...points will be given and really appreciated for u r help...

If you really want a popup box with the message and you don't want the user to be able to continue, you must do something like this. If you do not use the STOP statement here and the user clicks execute, he will get the popup message, but when he hits enter, the program will continue to the start of selection.

I'm having this same problem as well and cannot advance--very irritating. All of the information is filled out correctly and I've editted my AppleID information online separately as well to get around this issue, but no luck...

Ah, it has been mentioned daily esp since iOS 5 / iTunes 10.5 but has always been there as an issue.
Order of attempts:
Repair the installers
Uninstall EVERY Apple component (auto and manual)
Services: Restart all 3 Apple items (AMS, Bonjour, iPod)
I* always do the last almost, then launch iTunes, and only then connect iPod.
IF you see a yellow alert in Devices and Printers or in Device Manager, then I could find NO WAY to fix or repair other than a clean OS. Something messed up the device driver support.
If/when Windows asks "what to do when it detects iPod"? don't chose any default action, to me, based on hunch and 3 PCs, that seems to mess AMS up for some reason.
Tried with Windows 7 64-bit Pro and Home Premium, and also Deve Preview 8 (which other than the inability to update iOS to 5.0 seems to run better -- except when it comes to AMS thing! so seems Apple is not on the same page writitng drivers.

I am currently using Firefox version 18.0 yet when I open Firefox, I always get this pop up message:
“This version of Firefox is not supported by Norton Confidential. You will not be protected while browsing the Web.
Norton Confidential cannot protect you while you use this version of Firefox. Phishing Protection requires Firefox 1.5 or later.”
Do you know what is causing this? This started when I updated to Firefox 16.0.2. Am I at risk?

I am not sure that any protection against phishing provided by Norton is going to be better than the protection that Firefox offers by default.

It generally means - just using random numbers for examples - the iTunes on your computer holds 45 gig of content, you have a 16 gig iPad which has 13 gig of free space and the content just won't fit.
Easy solutions. go into iTunes and 'manually manage' your content. I believe this is in the main summary tab for your device (connect your device, click on the icon in iTunes to access controls for your iPad
You may also need to choose to manually control content in both the music and movie tabs.

Multiline messages cannot be shown on standard Pop Up. In case you need multiline messages then create a new view, use it as a pop up and then you can show text messages as per the business requirement.

How to configure a pop up message when creating an appraisal?

I have a question.
When the supervisor creates an appraisal for an employee, the supervisor is obligated to create Objectives for the employee but creating Competencies are only optional for executives (people group). When the supervisor has finished creating the appraisal and wants to review it, he will need to click on a Continue button.
When the continue button is pressed, a warning pop up message will appear if the competencies created was null. As it is only a warning pop up message the supervisor can just click ok and continue to the review page.
Now I am needed to configure this pop up message for the appraisal creation page and I would like to know how do I go about in searching for it? Should it be in the OAF java files or is the pop up message can be configured using personalization? I just want to know how to search for the configuration of this pop up message. Thank you

Hi Sheela,
Though you made 'Dataline' field as mandatory, system will throw an error message and will put MOUSE CURSOR on that missing field. So ultimately user would come to know that a particular field is missing.
And in SAP there would be lots of mandatory fields and it's really not feasible to put pop-up messages for such requirements and that too in transactions like CMR.
Tell user that system will automatically put MOUSE CURSOR on a particular mandatory field anytime anybody misses to maintain it. As a SAP consultant, your job is to convince the user with such standard functions.
If at all you want to put pop-up message for it, then you need to go for User Exit development.
Revert back if any further issue.

While processing the Credit notes for a particular vendor even if the Credit note is already posted in SAP. we do not receive any pop message informing the processor that the credit note is already booked, as we get pop up while processing the invoices which is already posted.
Kinldy assist me how can i set the SAP sytem so that i get a pop up messages for credit note also

You can maintain the contract in source list. On creating purchase order you can go to environment-source list---there you will see the contract number, item number and validity. If the requirement is to see the contract number and item number can be done in this way without any enhancement.

SQL plus pop up message dialog

Dear all,
Did anyone come across any experience like that:
When I execute a SQL statment that may need return a several thousands line in SQLPlus,
If I used SQLPlus version 3.3.4.00 (Oracle 7), a pop up message dialog will come up like
"Query is Executing ..." and a "Cancel" button is available in dialog box also.
However, If I used SQLPlus version 8.0.5 (Oracle 8 or laster), this pop up won't show up anymore.
The pop up is useful if I need to break the process and I just want to know if anything is required to configured on latest SQLPlus to activate this!

The removal of the cancel dialog was an unfortunate side effect
of an internal rewrite of SQL*Plus code in 8.0. The fundamental
problem still persists into 9i and it is not until 9i release 2
(being touted on www.oracle.com) that the iSQL*Plus web interface
(though not the SQL*Plus GUI on Windows) has a cancel button.
This was spoken about on the OTN iSQL*Pus discussion forum a
while back.

"This Accessory..." pop-up message

I have not had a problem with my iPhone until a couple of says ago.
I keep getting the following pop-up message
"This accessory is not made to work with iPhone would you like to turn on airplane mode....."
Nothing is connected to it, not even headphones or usb cable/charger. I have completely restored with the lastest softwatre 5 times in the past couple of days and its even more persistent now. The phone is not hacked. I have not gotten an answer in these forums.

Check for lint, corrosion or other debris in the dock connector port on the iPhone.
Essentially this message comes up when two conditions are met: First, something is detected as making some kind of connection with the dock connector. Second, it can't be identified as a "Works with iPhone" device.
If there is nothing connected to the port it could be debris, or it could be a malfunctioning dock connector.
The debris is a good one to check first, since it doesn't require a repair to resolve.
