IOS AppStore page caching problems

Why has apple never fixed their iOS AppStore apps page caching issue? When I go to browse apps and I'm 2 or more pages in, after viewing the details and then going back, the app takes me back to the first page. It does this across all my idevices. It's particularly frustrating when you are 5 or more pages in and then after backing out of the details, you find your self back at page one. It's enough to push me away from ever using the AppStore ever again. Why does this happen and will apple fix it?

They may do a bit of monitoring, but there are too many forums and postings for everything to be read by them. And you won't be the first person to leave feedback about the store 'feature', so maybe something will eventually be done about it if enough power comment.

Paying through the iOs Appstore

Hello everyone !
I don't get it.
When I try to update my informations on my account on my iOs device (iPad or iPhone) whatever I push for a button, like changing the city I'm in or changing the credit card informations, it opens me a Safari window kinda "be careful for your password and use a lot of characters blahblah .."
The problem is that when I go back into my account in order to change the city for example it bring me back right away to the Safari page, making it impossible for me to change anything.
So I went through the store itself and changed the informations. BUT. Now there is an app I wanna buy through it. So I start it, and then click on `pay`. The app store pops up and tell me `are you sure you wanna buy it ?` `yes ...` `then just put your credit card behind code number` (the 3 digits behind the VISA card). But when I want to enter the numbers it's popping me again that safari window. Makes it impossible to buy anything through the iOs store.
I thought about buying the application directly on the computer but that's impossible because the it's only through the application. I'm really trying hard to find a solution but I can't make it. I tried since yesterday without sucess ... Any idea about it ?
I hope I was clear in my explication and someone knows something about it.

Actually in my case yes, it's a In-App purchase ... but actually that doesn't really matter. I have the same issue whenever I wanna buy something through the store on the iDevice.

More then the problem of cashing the application. Let's say I go to "settings/iTunes Store" click on Apple ID and then "show apple ID informations" then "change informations" and I want to change the `city` for example. Usually there is the list of cities coming up. But as soon as the list of cities pop up, Safari show me a window "Apple ID : tips for protecting the security of your account". and when I go back to the options, I have the same problem in loop.
Maybe I should have wrote like that from the beginning ... The problem is weird. Is there any option to tell him not to open Safari or something like that ?

Plug in fails to activate and window suggests validation code priated. Repurchased software but cannot get plug in activation. Pop up suggests validation code still not functional but I am not sure.

I tried to download my old lightroom and for some reason it no longer registered, which I found strange. So I went to the local dealer and he put in Adobe 5, which I thought was a good deed. Yet, as I now try to create a webpage with lightroom photos, I find they do not upload properly--if at all. Upon further research, it turns out that I need some sort of plug in.
So OK I get the plug in and attempt to attach it's location to the program. The program pops up a box which suggested "commonly used pirated program". Therefore I repurchase this program and download it.
I try again and it still pops up--pirated version. This time I know it is not since I repurchased the lightroom product yesterday.
How do I get this plugin to operated? It is crucial to uploading this program to Google.

IPad appstore serious problem

I have just bought my iPad. I set up new appstore account and added my credit card. The first app I installed was fruit ninja, I even paid for it. Then I decided to download many paid apps at once. I added Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Ninjump, etc. to my download list and I spent about 25 euro on all of it. The first app to download was pages, it stopped downloading almost at the end and a message saying that I have to connect my iPad to my computer popped out, so I did it. After doing that I lost my whole downlaoding list, and when I try to download the apps again I have to pay for them again. My question is, was my credit card charged for the apps? Why I could not install them? Is there any possibility to install them once again without paying for them one more time?

You can see what apps you purchased by going into your iTunes account an looking at your purchase history. Were you by chance trying to download the apps via 3G? There is a 20 mb limit on iTunes downloads via 3G.

"Missing Push Notification Entitlement" when submitting Air app to IOS AppStore

After submitting my Air app (and update to the existing app) to the App Store, I've received an automated message from itunesconnect stating that my app is ""Missing Push Notification Entitlement". The full message is as follows:
Dear developer,
We have discovered one or more issues with your recent delivery for "xxxx". Your delivery was successful, but you may wish to correct the following issues in your next delivery: Missing Push Notification Entitlement - Your app appears to register with the Apple Push Notification service, but the app signature's entitlements do not include the "aps-environment" entitlement. If your app uses the Apple Push Notification service, make sure your App ID is enabled for Push Notification in the Provisioning Portal, and resubmit after signing your app with a Distribution provisioning profile that includes the "aps-environment" entitlement.
I've submitted multiple updates and never had this issue. Furthermore, I don't use push notifications, and as far as I can tell they are not enabled (nor where they ever configured or enabled) in the relevant app id on the developer portal nor in the application.xml. My Air app, as far as I can tell, isn't including any classes that are used to receive push notifications either.
Any thoughts, ideas?

Yup, i have the same issue here. AIR 3.5.something, Flash Builder 4.7 ... i received the damn mail today just seconds after successfully uploaded the app with Application Loader Version 2.8 (321). I didn't used any Push Notification services functionalities neither enabled it in the distribution provisoning profile. Like Alan_Haugen says the tone of the words make you believe that everything is fine, and that next time you upload stuff, take care to fix that. Don't know, will wait to see if the app will be approved.
Adobe please don't get angry now - but maybe is time to take problems that developers using your technology have - more seriously. You know, we are the last ones defending your frontiers in the AIR / FLASH frontlines and maybe we deserved more attention here ???? I mean the answer you placed here is the same if someone had mechanical car issues, and you suggest him to try to stop the car and start the car again then all troubles will be gone. Cmmon.
I mean there is only few calls to Apple needed and few hours of investigation to get there. And I think at least you can give us some credibility if you make us believe you are investigating the issue, and not redirect us off to stackoverflow - just like we are from Mars, and we didn't heard about it until today.
I'm really sorry for maybe a litlle harsh words, and really i would like to continue to use AIR / FLASH technologies but you must understand and i'm 100% sure that more or less all people springling around here are in enterprises. And in enterprises there are no answers like maybe, don't know, not sure, will see, etc. Because with such answers you're dead in less than needed to close one eye.

Where to go for refund of crappy ios appstore purchase ?

I made the misstake of buying the voddler joke for iPad and now demand my money back. I can however not find any way whatsoever on apples support pages that lets me do that. It is just a circle of links that in 2 or 3 clicks takes you back to where you started. On the support pages it feels like Apple is not aware that they do manufacture something called iPhone and iPad and that they run an appstore for those devices.
Any suggestion is appreciated. Getting a lawyer and suing them seems a bit drastic. There must be an easier way to do this.

Go to the website for the developer of the app you purchased and ask them. Do not the terms of sale in the App Store says all sales are final so that lawyer is not going to do you any good.

How do I create a POP mail account on ios 5

When I try to create a new mail account it always turns out to be an IMAP email account which I don't have access to such an account. My account is POP3 and I don't seem to be able to ever specify that on my iPhone 4 using ios 5. Help?

You should not need to enter anything. the iCloud service is one of the preconfigured options.
Just choose the iCloud type from the Add new Mail screen, and enter your details in the next screen.
If you don't have the iCloud option, but instead have the mobileMe option then you will need to update your iOS.

The Flash update alerts are fake, and are intended to mislead you into installing malware and/or to steal your identity. They're the result of an attack on your router that has caused you to get false results from looking up the addresses of Internet servers. Requests sent to well-known websites such as Google and YouTube are redirected to a server controlled by the attacker.
The router's documentation should tell you how to reset it to the factory default state. Usually there's a pinhole switch somewhere in the back. It may be labeled "RESET." Insert a paper clip and press the button inside for perhaps 15 seconds, or as long as the instructions specify.
Then go through the initial setup procedure. I can't be specific, because it's different for every model. The key points are these:
1. Don't allow the router to be administered from the WAN (Internet) port, if it has that option.
2. Set a strong password to protect the router's settings: at least ten random upper- and lower-case letters and digits.Don't use the default password or any other that could be guessed.
3. If the router is wireless, or if you have a wireless access point on the network, use "WPA 2 Personal" security and set another strong password to protect the network. If the router or access point doesn't support WPA 2, it's obsolete and must be replaced.
During the time the router was compromised, you were redirected to bogus websites. If you ever connected to a secure site and got a warning from your browser that the identity of the server could not be verified, and you dismissed that warning in order to log in, assume that your credentials for the site have been stolen and that the attacker has control of the account. This warning also applies to all websites on which you saw the fake update alerts.

instrx from delete from icloud doesn't work if the song you want to delete is not in your library (duplicate songs were deleted long ago. these songs do no appear on older ios versions

You will need to purchase the upgrade CD for 10.6 from the Apple Online store, OR you can likely get one at an Apple Retail Store. It is the last version that was available on CD. After 10.6, the upgrades are available in the Mac App Store.

Seeking suggestions for iOS wireless multiplayer games

With the holiday season in full swing, my sons and I are having a little fun with our iOS devices - namely an iPad 2 64GB and an iPod Touch 3rd-gen 32GB.
I'd like to get some ideas for games to get from the App Store which allow wireless multiplayer between the two devices. My strong preference is for universal apps which will play the same way and which I don't need to pay for twice.
I already have the complete Capcom Arcade, and most of Atari's Greatest Hits, but sadly these are not my guy's style. (Plus, for some reason, the smoothest running Capcom game that was originally 2P co-op in the arcades, Magic Sword, does NOT have a wireless co-op mode on iPad!) Furthermore, I have one air hockey game which looks good on both devices, yet does not offer cross-device multiplayer.
Best of the season to you, whether or not you have any ideas to contribute!

OK, then... one example is iReverse (Pro), which despite the title is actually a free game. I have installed it successfully on both iPod Touch and iPad, and am now "playing with myself" (if you'll excuse the double-entendre).
Come on, people, there's gotta be some great gems out there!
