Pop up that appears on domain exit only.

I would like for a pop up to appear on closing the "x" on the
top right of a browser window,
What this means is, I want a pop up to appear when a user is
trying to leave my website. Example: give them a special offer.
I do not want this message to appear when they leave to
visit/surf other areas of my website.
Please help!

You could try this:
1. Create the HTML page popup page the way you want. lets
call it popup.html
Now if i understand correctly, you want to go to this
popup.html you just created if the user wants to close the main
page right?
2. This goes in the main page:
<body onunload="javascript:logout()">
The function
logout() looks something like this:
function logout ()
window.open("popup.html");
I hope that helps you.
But if my pop up blocker is running this code wont work
anyway.

I am using a customized version of the iBooks Author template which has the space image. I have replaced the images for the book cover, chapter and section. But I noticed that when you rotate the ipad to view the entire TOC, the original space image is still there. Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.

How do I get rid of Pop-Up that appeared on my opening screen?

Within the Pop-up box there is 2 boxes -- save -- cancel. I cannot save nor cancel. I have contacted Adobe and they said it is because I am using Firefox. Can you please get rid of this Pop-Up?

What version Premiere Elements and on what computer operating system?
From the mention of the issue, I suspect you are working with Premiere Elements 13/13.1.
Assuming Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit.
If so, delete or disable the OldFilm.AEX file.

and in the NewBlue Folder is the OldFilm.AEX file that you delete or disable by renaming OldFilm.AEX to OldFilm.AEXOLD.

How do you turn off the mail preview pop ups, that appear when you open mail since downloading iOS 7?

Since downloading iOS 7, whenever I open the mail app, I am getting pop up previews of all the unread mail that I have asking me if I wish to either dismiss, or read the message. When I have quite a few emails, this can be an annoying, & time consuming task, which is totally unnecessary, as because I am opening the mail app, of course I am going to read or dismiss the emails.

Make pop-up appear as the topic only (i.e, w/o the screen layout)

Hello All,
I'd like to use pop-ups in my current project but I'd like for the pop-ups to appear as the topic only without the corresponding screen layout (side bar, contents, index, glossary, etc.). I'm generating in Multiscreen_HTML5. When I preview my pages in a browser (CTRL+W) the pop-ups look just fine but when I Save/Generate, the screen layout is, as you would expect, applied to the entire project (including the pop-ups). I am currently setting the pop-ups to auto size.
If there were some way to exclude a topic from the screen layout then I could create separate topics for the pop-ups.

Figured it out.
I needed to deselect Convert auto-sizing and custom-sized popups to hyperlinks (Multiscreen_HTML5 Settings, Screen Profiles, Desktop, Optimization). Now the pop-ups appear as I had envisioned (auto sized without the screen layout).

How can I get Facebook game pop-ups to appear without having to downgrade Firefox as I need version 6 for work?

When I try to send back a gift in a Facebook game, there should be a pop-up that appears to allow me to do this. However in the newest version of Firefox, I can not get these pop-ups to appear and I have to have version 6 to be able to work from home. So how do I fix this?

This might be because your settings are configured to block pop-ups. To fix this:

Adding a Generic Email Address (Domain Name Only) to Address Book

Is it possible to set up a generic email address (like @google.com) in Apple address book?
I ask this because I have created a set of rules in Apple Mail to help filter out spam mail, and in my spam rules I check to see if the sender's email address is in my address book, in which case, I assume the incoming email is not spam.
Now, when it comes to companies and organizations that I have dealings with, what I would like to do is add a generic email address to my Apple address book, that covers the whole company.
By generic email address, I mean an address that comprises the domain name only: for example: if [email protected] is a specific email address, then the corresponding generic email address is @google.com.
This is so that if I receive an email from another department or another individual in the same company, such as from [email protected] or [email protected] say, then these emails will also be considered to be in my address book, and thus get through my spam mail rules as well.

How do you create the 'cream pop-up info text boxes' that appear when you hover mouse over?

I really need to know how you create the 'cream pop-up info text boxes' that appear when you hover your mouse over an object on a webpage (and often in any program e.g. Photoshop) for more than a second. I need to know because the logo on my website is the navigation tool used to return to the homepage. It is always found in the top left so the user can always click it to return.
The only problem is im the only one who knows that when you click my logo, you return to the homepage. I need one of these 'cream info boxes' (forgive my lack of knowledge) to appear so the user will figure it out.

When trying to download a program I am not given the option to run the program only to save or cancel. a pop up screen appears the download is loaded and I have to double click on it to actually download it into my computer. Is this normal

I switched from using IE and when downloading programs through there a windows always popped up asking to run save or cancel the file. With Firefox it only gives me the option to save or cancel and when pressing save a pop up window appears and the file is then downloaded to that. Then I have to go to it and double click to run it. I do not always want to save everything only run some things. Is there a way to change this. it seems like I am double downloading, first to the pop up window then into my computer instead of straight into my computer. is there a faster better way to download. This also eats up my download allowance from my internet satellite company this way.

Sorry, but I have already tried this too and verified that the web addresses are listed as Allow, rather than Block. After restart there was no difference, I still get the disappearing pop-up windows.

Have you heard of any issues like this occurring based on the number of tabs that are open in Firefox?
Just a thought, even though I have not heard of this as an issue before. I keep about 80 tabs open regularly, because of research that I am always conducting (I am a blogger, a writer/author, a technophile-especially Green Tech.,), email, work, etc.?
I do have a check in the box for Firefox to let me know if the number of open tabs is causing slow down or other issues.
