Populate a PDF with VBA and FDF, stopped working.

I work with a non-profit children's camp where I need to be able to populate a PDF form from a MS Access database. The problem is that I do not have much server access, so I've had to find sneaky ways to do this. I can not use anything I have to install. I have been using FDF and VBA because it is what I know. Last year it stopped working in Chrome. This year it won't work in Firefox or IE either. I have to assume some change in security. It seems the problem is that PDF no longer open in my browser but download to the temp folder and open with Acrobat. This of course keeps my form from contacting the server to populate the form. I had been using a "update data" button to populate the form that opens in browser. Does anyone know of a way to do what I am trying to do without purchasing expensive software. I need to rely 100% on the user having reader.

I guessed that was the case but testing it on several computers then and now the default handling seems to have changed. I am now looking for a way to do this either a different (but similar) way or to somehow get around this change.

TV out with Dock and Cable stopped working

Hi,
I'm using the Apple Component AV Cable + Apple Universal Dock to connect to my TV and it used to work fine but recently it simply stopped working. If I connect the iPod straight to the Component cable it's all fine but it doesn't work if I connect it to the Dock (but it does charge it through the dock).
Any ideas what could be wrong with the Dock and/or how to fix it?

We have an application that I would like to have in Formscentral. That application is also in a larger PDF file that once filled in populates all the other forms below it (lease, credit check form, ect). If the Application on Formscentral keep the same field names as the pdf can I pull the data from formscentral and sill populate the old application pdf so that all the forms below it will be also populated.

What are the best options for creating a PDF with bookmarks and a hyperlinked TOC?

What I'm interested in is whether or not there is an alternate process I could follow that would side step Word 2011's inability to export to PDF with bookmarks and hyperlinked TOCs. How do you create PDF documents with bookmarks and hyperlinked TOCs in your documents?
Some background:
In Word 2010 and 2013 for Windows (and I'm sure this applies to older versions as well), you can export documents to a PDF file format where the exported file will carry over the bookmarks and hyperlinked table of contents. Specifically, by making specific text headers, will appear in the final PDF file as bookmarks on the side (see image taken from Adobe's website).
Regarding the table of contents, using Word's built in Table of Contents feature successfully ports the ability to navigate to a specific section by clicking on its chapter in the table of contents to the finished PDF file.
I've read several forum discussions that say it's not possible to do this from Word 2011, so my current solution is to just finish all documents on a Windows machine (either with parallels or a separate computer). The alternate process flow of creating a word document, exporting it to PDF, then rehyperlinking everything in Acrobat is just too time consuming to consider.

Open that file with Pages, export as PDF.
The links work from that PDF.
Note, I did not try this with TOC but it worked with hyperlinks embedded in the Word document

More than likely its a hardware issue, I have never encountered such a problem and best bet is to just go get it replaced. If you have insurance on your device apple will replace it as long as there was no water damage, if you dont have insurance they will charge $200 more or less. Hope you get it fixed

Pdf (with graphics and text) in the email body

When I place an pdf (with graphics and text) in the body of my email using Mac Mail my recipient sees them as attachments only. I am trying to find a way of presenting a formatted email with graphics that will appear the same way to all recipients, but a pdf frequently ends up being an attachment instead of staying in the body. The pdf file doesn’t seem to always show up in the body as created. Is there a better way to accomplish this?

You have no control over how your email maybe rendered by other email servers and client side software.
Attachment Tamer may give you a few more options but it does not guaranty the end result.

I tried your suggestion, not knowing that the direct pdf printer would also "save as" PDF, but when I try your suggestion and use the Adobe PDF printer that is a direct creation of the PDF from the browser (IE9), instead of the "black out" areas I get when I use the "Convert to" button, I get missing blocks of the resulting PDF, and only get the first 1/4 to 1/3 of the webpage.
Just to clarify, when I said I print the webpage and then scan, that is a work around I have to do if I need a scanned version of the way a webpage appears on a particular date and time, instead of the one step process I used to be able to do when Adobe Acrobat would actually convert the webpage to a pdf without blackout areas or, if I try your suggestion, blank spots with a partial webpage. But the idea was one I had not thought of and I appreciated the thought.

I have same issue. I click on the home button and Wake/sleep at the same time for 30 seconds or more and then the phone entered in Recovery mode. It is erasing my content now and installing the update. Let´s see how this ends. I have iCloud, iTunes match, and backups from previos versions, hope I can restore all my content.
Otherwise I´ll go to the Genius Bar to do a checkup.

It did not work the first time... The iPhone4 kept in limbo. Then I did disconnect as suggested above and tried again to enter in Recovery mode. This second time it works. And after restoring the iPhone4 with 7.0.3, it asked me if I want to recover from backup. I did recover from my latest back up and now it is syncing the content.

Laser Jet M1217nfwMFP wireless and fax stopped working printer works with usb cord

I have an HP computer 64 bit version. The printer suddenly stopped working wireless, fax stopped working weeks ago. Printer does work with a usb cord. Turning it off (removing elec cord) on both computer and printer, didn't help. Nothing changed that was different to cause either problem.

I see that your Laserjet M1217 wireless and fax stopped working but the usb connection does work.
I would restore the printers defaults to setup the wireless again.
Touch the setup (wrench button) on the printer, select network config, select restore defaults.
Then make sure the wireless radio is turned on.
Touch the setup button (wrench), network configuration, wireless menu, wireless radio-on.
Temporarily connect the usb cable from the printer to the computer and go to start, all programs, hp, laserjet m1217 and select wireless configuration and go through the wizard to reset up the wireless again.
or if your router has a wps button on it then you touch the wps wireless button on the printer and immediately touch the wps button on the router.
Printer should automatically connect to the wireless network.
Run the add printer wizard.
Go to control panel,(win7) devices and printers then click add a printer, next, select network
highlight printer, next, message installing printer.
Should be able to print over wireless again.
Check fax connections.
Then run a fax test.
Touch the setup (wrench button) on the printer, service, run fax test.
You should have 4 passes.
Change these fax settings on the printer.
private receive-wrench/fax setup menu/ok/fax receive setup/ok/private receive/ok/set it to off
error correction-wrench/arrow to fax setup/ok/all faxes/error correction/ok/set it to off/ok
speed-wrench/arrow to fax setup/ok/all faxes/ok/fax speed/ok//change speed to medium.
clear saved faxes-wrench/fax functions menu/clear saved faxes/ok/ok to clear.
Try sending and receiving a fax.

Well, in his defense, his parents bought him the player so I guess we can't blame him. Though the 6 GB versions were available in November so I guess they really did get 'nervous' about Christmas and like to get their shopping done early! Kudo's to you for trying to remain with the Creative line but for what you're looking for it's obviously not the player for you. Creative seems to be fine-tuning their line for the audio crowd. I'm into mp3 players for the audio. Sure, the ability to watch video's and look at pictures on a decent screen is a plus but for me at least, it's all about the music. And with music, 6 GB is more than enough. Heck, 8 GB would have been more than enough for me. I'm a subscriber to Napster-to-go, so I don't feel the need to carry 00 plus GB of stuff on my portable player. I honestly don't understand the desire to watch movies or TV shows on tiny little screens. But you're also talking to a guy who doesn't watch television. What a complete waste of time and brain cells. Probably the **competitor products we can't discuss here** or one of those players would better suit your needs. Companies are definately picking their niche markets carefully and Creative's decision to not offer hard dri've players any more seems to definately be saying bye-bye to that market. I can't say I blame them. Hard dri'ves eventually give up the ghost and are quite delicate for people on the go. Good ridance, I say. Let Apple, Zune and all the others cater to the Z generation's need to be spoonfed their video/TV addictions anywhere and everywhere. I'll pass. It's one thing to be able to enjoy some music on the go and enhance an otherwise dull work day or dri've. But movies/TV shows at work, school, or wherever? Please. Cut the cord! Just my $.02 - YMMV! Converting WordPerfect to PDF with desktop printer tool: Not working

I have been a monthly subscriber to Adobe CreatePDF for many years! I work mainly with Correl WordPerfect, but with the change to the Pack version it is not supported. I downloaded the desktop printer tool; it is installed. However, when I follow instructions and print, I get nothing. Where does the PDF go? What can I do? Please help! I cannot continue to pay monthly if I don't get service.

Please do following
(A). If your system is Win 7 SP1 then install a hot fix to correct inetpp.dll version at C:\Windows\System32 folder.After installing the hot fix version will be 6.1.7601.21819 from 6.1.7601.17514.
Note please uninstall CreatePDF Desktop printer then reinstall after applying the hot fix
(B). If you have not installed Adobe Postscript driver yet then please install one as below:
How to Install PS printer:
1. Open Start menu > Devices and Printer ( or from control panel) and select "Add a printer"
2. Select "Add a local printer"
3. Select "Use an existing port: LPT1: (Printer port)
4. Select any company and any PS printer with Adobe PS printer driver(not clone) such as Xerox and Xerox Phaser 6120PS

Hi，
So switch a LAN card fix this issue...seems a compatibility issue or maybe some packs or programs you installed recently cause this issue.
Have you manually check the network adapter driver from the PC's manufacture website? sometimes, it will be a time delay before Microsoft push out the driver update.
Check if issue exists in safemode with network, this mode will launch Windows with limited sets of files and drivers.
if you have a restore point, restore the pc to a previous point at which the pc is functioning fine.
