Some problems in working with that I wanna populate my drop down menu with values from access db ie let supplier be one column i wanna get all values of that column into my menu

Je suis actuellement en création d'une maquette de magazine qui sera en format final PDF.
Je souhaiterais savoir s'il est possible de créer un menu dynamique. En gros j'ai mes boutons qui me permettent de naviguer de chapitre en chapitre et je voudrais qu'en survolant ces derniers un menu se deroule et laisse apparaitre les differents titres sur lesquelles ont pourrait cliquer pour y acceder.
Malgré mes différentes recherches je ne trouve pas la solution.
Est ce que quelqu'un aurait la réponse à mon énigme?
PS: j'utilise indesign CS5

Je réponds sans doute un peu tard, mais la création de menus dynamiques est possible, même si plutôt complexe. Il vous faudra en effet créer des boutons, qui réagiront au survol et dont l'action consistera à afficher d'autres boutons. Pour l'instant, j'arrive à le faire fonctionner sur un swf, le résultat sur pdf est plus mitigé.

ds_RowCount only displays the total rows if filters have not been applied to the data. Seeing as how this RowCount is inside a loop, it could just be returning 1 which is the amount of records displayed in that loop. In this case, I would recommend trying ds_UnfilteredRowCount.

Populating two dynamic internal tables and displaying the O/p as ALV

I want to develop a abap prototype program report for the SD document flow analysis...
There is a Fm : RV_ORDER_FLOW_INFORMATION in which if we pass the Sales order number it returns the flows as VBFA_TAB.
I need to populate two dynamic ITAB1 and ITAB2
the structure of ITAB1 should be like ColNm1....ColNmn
The values for ColNm1 will be Sales Order ColNm2 as Delivery or smthng else depending on field vbtyp_n.
ITAB 2 should have the corresponding values accly to ITAB1.
Then we need to display in ALV o/p.
The tables should be populated dynamically.
Can anybody throw some light on it and plz do write back with sample code to do the logic of it.

Populating a dynamic array with objects and managing it in runtime.

So I'm another stuck firstyear. I'll try and make my question compact. I'm using Flash CS6 and have drawn an animated character on the stage that consists of separate parts that are animated and its head is a separate class/symbol entirely because it has not only animation, but a state switch timeline as well. This said Head extends the Main that is the character MovieClip.
I am using a dynamic array to store and .push and .splice objects of another class that would collide with this said Head.
I also discovered the super() function that is implicitly called as the constructor of the parent in any child class that extends the parent, in this case Head extends Main. The issue is that my collidable object array is populated within the main, within the function that spawns every next collidable object with a TimerEvent. This said function then gets called twice due to the super() call.
I have tried putting this super() call into an impossible statement in my child class, but it doesn't change a thing, and it was said that this method is unsafe so I don't even know if it should be working.
However what confuses me the most is when I trace() the .length of my collidable object array at the end of that function. As I said earlier, the original function both spawns an object after a period of Timer(1000) and adds it to the stage as well as adds the object onto the object array, but the super() constructor only duplicates the length call and a creates a copy of the object on the stage, but it does not add the second copy of the object onto the array. The trace() output goes on like so:

I wonder why and I'm really stumped by this.

I am also fiddling with the collision, but I believe that it would sort itself out when I deal with the array pop and depop properly. However I'm pasting it anyway in case the issue is subtly hidden somewhere I'm not looking for it. And here is the child class:

So like what happens at the moment is that the array gets populated by the first object that spawns, but there is two objects on the stage, then when the objects reach stage.460y mark the array splices() the one object away and displays an error:
"#1010: A term is undefined and has no properties.
 at Main/snowhit()"
then when the next object spawns, it repeats the process. Why does it trace the array.length as "1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5, etc" until the despawn point and then goes on to display an error and then starts from 1 again, because if the array length is more than one object at the time when the first object of the array gets spliced away, shouldn't it go on as usual, since there are other objects in the array?

There are multiple problems:
1. You should add eventlisteners for your objects only once, but you add eventlisteners every time your timer runs to all of your snowflakes, again and again:

I don`t see why its even necessary to employ this snowflakearray, it would be much straight forward if you simply let the snowflakes take care of themselves.

Oracle Forms List Items :not populating list Dynamically using select Query

Hi ,
I need to create a list item. And the values to be populated in the list are from Database but I'm unable to populate from database.
Please help me out how to populate the values from database.
In Property Pallete we have Elements in List under Functional section , In this we have to manually enter the List values but we can't use any Query to Dynamically populate.

When you need to fill a list with the result of a query, you'll have to do it at runtime.

Problem while populating table dynamically

Hi,
I am facing a strange problem when I execute a search component (custom developed component).
Problem summary:
I am getting first 5 empty rows (default visible row count, when I set the table's visible row count to "n" then the data in the first "n" rows are not visible) from the SAP R/3 when we fetch the data using this component. The data is available for the next consecutive rows starting 6th {(n+1)th} row. Here I am facing another strange behavior, I moved the table row position using the table paginator and viewing the data in the next consecutive rows and reset the view (invalidating the context and setting the visibility of the table to NONE), when I invoke the search again the data is missing in the 6-10 rows(the table data is paginated to the 6-10 records automatically), now the data is visible in the first 5 rows.
The details of softwares:
SAP WebAS 6.40 SP9
SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio Version: 2.0.9
JDK version - j2sdk1.4.2_06
Note:
1. The table creation and data population are done dynamically.
2. The same code works fine for SAP WebAS 6.40 SP8
3. When I tried fetching some data from SAP R/3 and displaying it in a table (table is created during design time and data population is achieved through standard context binding), it works fine.
If any of you get any clue in solving this issue, please do let me know.

Yes the application is working fine in SP8 and giving problem in SP9.
I have a parent component which calls another component(childcomponent), which has this dynamically populated table. I am using window.open() to open the window in the child component.
To answer your last question,
I don't see full of empty rows, I see empty rows for the first visble row counts(5 or 10, if the total fetched row count might atleast 1 more than the visble row count). The data is available from the first visible row count+1. If I come back and see the first vible row count, still the rows are blank.

Populating menu items from the database...is it possible?

we have a requirement in forms where we need to populate the menu items from the database.first we used hiearchial tree where it was possible.but since the requirement changed i am not sure that whether the menu items can be populated by data from the database...will be glad if someone could throw some light on this issue...

You could always do it but would need to put a fix limit on the number of menu items.
For example you could create a set of menu items at design time with the visible property set to False.
While reading the database, you then set them to True while setting the label to whatever you require.
But it all depends also on what you want your menu items to do when selected.

Read only item populated by dynamic LOV

Since I'm using artificial keys in most of my table FKs, I need to use a lot of LOVs to provide the user with discernible data.
Many of the columns I use an LOV for I need to be read only items. However, whenever I use a dynamic LOV, I do not see how to make it read only. It sets the value of the item to [].
I know this can be accomplished in some cases with a join in the underlying query. However, many of the pages where I need to make this change are not based on a query.
Is there a way to make an item populated by an LOV read only while still retaining the value?

I'm using apex 3.2.1. Your testing and replies have helped me realize that the problem is that the column indeed did not have a value. When I had the item "display as" set to "select list" the LOV was also setup for allow NULL=NO. Thus, it was showing some value in the LOV in that item. But, when I switched to the "display as text" and set the always read only, then it gave the double brackets []. When I changed the allow NULL=YES, it worked fine and gave me a blank value.

I have one jsp page. In that jsp page one dropdown menu is there. Dropdown menu contains "save" and "saved content". I download the file using "save" option in menu. Hi all...
I have a scenario where i have....States and Selected States..[both are <html:select>].Districts and selectedDistricts[both are <html:select>]
If at all i select a state say Andhrapradesh....then Selected States should be populate AndhraPradesh as option value...In turn districts should populate districts of
AndhraPradesh...so that i can select as many districts from districts and the selected districts should be populate in selectedDistricts.
AND...
If i select more than one state(say 4 states) , all the states should be populated in Selected States.....If at all i select 1st state in Selected States...corresponding districts should be populated in Districts [ if i select AndhraPradesh in Selected States, Districts should populate all the districts of AndhraPradesh ,if i select Karnataka,.. Districts should populate all the districts of Karnataka].
and all these states and districts should be generated form DB....
Any Ideas....help required....

Use Ajax.
There's a basic Ajax tutorial at w3schools.com. It is basically simple:
1) Use Javascript to fire a XML HTTP request.
2) Let Servlet handle this request and return XML or JSON or plain String response.
3) Use Javascript to apply the response on the HTML DOM tree.
There are frameworks which simplifies doing all the stuff, like jQuery. You could use $.ajax or $.getJSON for this.

Build screen menu dynamically during program flow

while setting the menu use
excl_tab is an internal table should contain the function codes of the buttons which you want to disable for that particular user.
set pf-status 'MENU' excluding excl_tab.
see example below.
DATA fcode TYPE TABLE OF sy-ucomm.
MODULE status_0100 OUTPUT.
APPEND 'CHANGE' TO fcode.
APPEND 'SAVE' TO fcode.
