Debatching works fine and instance got created for first batch but no instance got created for remaining batchs, what could be the reason for this?

You must use the java add-in on an abap stack, the Jco connection between the stacks is created automatically. Once you have the stacks installed and ready to configure the MI all you really need to do is setup the properties file that describes the host and system. This will be setup manually in the file system for any installation < sp13 but if its sp13 and higher you would have to do it in the database using the J2EE engine visual admin. Please follow the appropriate installation guide, its the easiest way. I also recommend you have your basis person perform the installation he should have no problem reading the installation guide.

Porblems with built application, using wordsub.llb

I am trying to compile a Vi that uses the New Report.vi to create a test datasheet. When I run the Vi in development mode, it works ok. When I run it after using the "build application" fucntion, the vi gives an error (Code 7). The description for the error says something about the "open vi reference". I believe the error has something to do with the "word" related vi's that are contained in the wordsub.llb.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?
Is it something with the build process?

Are you using LabVIEW 8.0 or later? If so, the instructions for building an executable are incorrect...they state that you must add _wordsub.llb as a Support File, but you should actually add _wordsub.llb\Word Dynamic VIs.vi as a Dynamic VI when building the executable. Also, if you are calling any Excel-specific VIs, you would need to add _excelsub.llb\Excel Dynamic VIs.vi as a Dynamic VI as well.
Try this out and see if it works...we are planning on changing the documentation for the toolkit for the next release to indicate the different steps you need to take for building an executable with Report Generation Toolkit VIs in LabVIEW 8.0 versus previous versions.

PL/SQL Web Service porblem with parameters

Hi,
I'm pretty new to this so I apologise in advance if this is just something I'm doing wrong, but I'm really struggling to understand what's going wrong (and I could find any threads suggesting any one else was having the same problem.
I am using jdeveloper version 10.1.3.3 and am trying to create a web service from a pl/sql package. The problem occurs when I have more than 1 input parameter and I get the following message in the 'Web Services' tab :-
Generating WSDL and mapping file
WARNING: OWS-00037 No method found in SEI: esab_dev_tf_geo_appl.Ws
WSDL and mapping file generation failed for the following reason:
Interface esab_dev_tf_geo_appl.Ws: Invalid Method

This did work yesterday morning and I had a web service that actually worked, but in making some minor changes to the pl/sql package and trying to re-generate the web service it now fails every time. Any ideas?

I was able to reproduce your problem.
It goes away if you choose RPC/Literal instead of Document/Literal.
I'm not a WS guru by any means - perhaps someone else can comment on why this happens?

File Adapter with Debatching

Hi All
We are using File Adapter in debatching mode for processing of large files.
Once all records are processed we need to move the processed file from one location to another on same machine.
But in case of debatching multiple BPEL theads are processing same file. so how do we know we have reached the end of the file and all processing is done so that we can move that file.

Porblem with One Info Object. in Two Structures

Hi,
I am have a Object like Material Type which i need to use in KF structure by filtering in selection,
and also same in char Structure with different selection in one query.
But my Problem is I am unable to Drag this Object in to the selection panel.
if i delete in KF Structure than i can do this. I want both

Once you restrict the characteristics value in teh structure in ROWs, your KFs will be automaically restricted by that value. Why do you want to create another selection in KF structure?
System does not allow because of a simple reason.
You have already put the restriction on this characteristics from the ROW area. You can do two things.
Either you can create the same selection in the KF structure or you will create a different selection in KF structure. If you create a same selection, there wont be any change in the result. (So, doesnt make any sense to allow you to drag it). If you create with different selection (So, doesnt make any send as it will not bring any number being different selection at that cell).
Can you please explain your requirement? May be possible that report can be designed with different design.

Porblem with Java Proxy EJB deploy to XI through NWDI

Situation - I have a web app in Server A (WAS7), it needs to call a java proxy in Server B (XI WAS7). I want to deploy the Java Proxy EJB into the landscape using NWDI. To do this I created an external library with public parts that contains the required jars to build the java proxies. These are aii_msg_runtime.jar, aii_proxy_xirt.jar, and aii_utilxi_misc.jar. The EJB module used part is mapped to the library's public parts. Everything builds fine and the deployment was successful into XI.
Problem - When my web application makes a remote call to the java proxy in XI, NoClassDefFoundError occurs. The first jar that it complain about was aii_util_cimaccess.jar. I included this jar into the library and redeployed. Called the java proxy again, and got another NoClassDefFoundError exception. Now it wanted the lrcclient.jar. I included that into the library and redeployed. Now it wanted another jar. The issue is that all these jars are in the XI server and I shouldn't have to add them as part of the library. Is there a SCA out there that contains these jars, or did I just forget to mark a checkbox somewhere when creating the EJB so that it would reference the XI jars without me adding them to the library?
Note - This architecture works fine without having to add the jars above, if I deploy the Java Proxy EJB from my workspace to XI through the SDM process available through NWDS. This only breaks when I deploy through NWDI.

Porblems with importing Ae files into Premiere

I have been working on quite a big project for the last month in after effects, creating a animation which is divided into 26 parts. I now want to insert them into premiere. The problem now is that the blend modes that i used in after effects in the layered comps has now been lost when i place the AE file into premiere. Can anyone suggest how to insert the AE file into premiere with all the applied blend modes??

You can render and export movies from After Effects and use those as clips in Premiere Pro.

Porblem with installation

continuing with my previous query
we have installed ABAP system and Java system separately in the same machine,do
we have to install SAP java connector to connect these two components
or can we install java addin for ABAP will that be enough instead of
installing these components seperatly
and how do we create the SAP MI Client components
and also it would be great if some on can give the installation setup of SAP MI clearer
as we are new to this product and the installation guide is difficult to follow

Porblem with portal setup

Hi,
One of our client has the following setup.
Browser ---> Firewall -
> SAP Portal -
> ECC.
Now he has to access the portal on the internet.
He has provided a public IP to SAP PORTAL for ex 111.32.22.12 register to domain ABC.COM and the internal ip is 232.32.12.32 with domain xyz.client.com.
Now he has opened the EP url port 5<00>000 on the firewall.
Couple of issues here.
1) when i enter abc.com on internet it doesn't show any screen, but when i enter ABC:5<00>000/irj it shows the login screen. Why is that when in abc.com it doesn't show login screen and shows only when i enter the ep port? Is this some thing to do with firewall?
2) Once the login screen is displayed ABC:5<00>000/irj now i enter the user id and password though it accepts (authentication occurs) but doesn't go inside i.e show the next screen such as content administrator etc.it is stuck on the main screen.
Now say instead of ABC:5<00>000/irj if i give ABC:5<00>000/index.html it shows the screen and when i check system properties link then a popup windows show asking for authentication and when valid user valid user id and pwd is given it authenticates and show the relevant data.
So the curious question is with /index.html authentication occurs & goes to next screen, with /irj authentication occurs but doesn't go to next screen. Why is that?
3) As there is only firewall in the set up (no proxy) do i need to configure
com.sap.portal.ivs.httpservice u2192 Services u2192proxy
Parameters Firewall Proxy Host, FirewallProxyPort,Firewall - Enable Proxy Setting ?
Anyone who has this kind of setup can throw light on how exactly they had done ? We are at pre go live stage .

what i think of this issue is you should map your external url to http://hostname.domain.com:5<intsance>00 instead of http://hostname.domain.com.

Porblem with MSI P6NGM-FD during shutdown.

Overall the PC is stable, works well. The problem is when I shutdown the PC, the harddisk turns off, but CPU and Case still runs. Some commented that this is a problem with the ACPI. Will it be solved if I request another motherboard with the same model, or I just need a bios fix from your site?
I need immediate response. I bought this last April 22, 2008. Please send me bios update if this is the only solution. I'm tired of experimenting/installing Windows XP.

first of all, let's make sure we are talking about the same board. There are three different versions of the P6NGM out there:
- P6NGM-FIH -> BIOS v1.x ----> MCP73U [FIH - GB Lan+1394+HDMI+D-Sub]
- P6NGM-FD -> BIOS v2.x ----> MCP73PV [FD - GB Lan+DVI+D-Sub]
- P6NGM-L -> BIOS v3.x ----> MCP73V [L - 10/100 Lan+D-Sub]
Check your current BIOS Version. It should be displayed during POST on the status screen:
If you cannot get a good look at the BIOS Information because the status screen disappears too fast, disable quick booting in BIOS.

Hi, I have just bought a apple TV and I have it all set up with my photos and music from itunes account. But I don't know how I can start ordering movies directly using apple TV and also netflix? Can anyone help me?

So you're presumably saying you've set up Home Sharing on AppleTV and can view content from iTunes under the Computers section when iTunes is running?
Clearly if you want to rent or buy on the device you need an itunes store account - you'd generally use the same one you use for Home Sharing and itunes purchases.
For Netflix you need to sign up with them online, I assume you're in a country that supports Netflix, and under the Internet column on AppleTV you should see Netflix and be able to connect and enter your account credentials to view stuff.

Porblem with WGXB102 (wireless range extender) and imac

Everytime my imac sleeps it can't access the internet using the WGXB102, however I can switch directly to the router with my old setup and the internet works. The only way I get the extender to work is to reset the main netgear router. How can I get the extender to work after the computer goes to sleep?

Yes there are some issues with the Wireless Range Extender version 3.0 ...related to IP Conflict ... but they can be resolved by upgrading the firmware of the Range Extender .....
You can use Range Extedner version 2.0 & 3.0 ....

When I'm sending a Instant message from the collaboration launch pad I cannot view my message but the other person can view my message. when he is sending me a message he can view his message but I cannot view my message. Can anyone help me where is the problem.

Could it be that another client is logged in to the system with your username? In such case, IM capabilities will be prevented from you.
Please try the following:
Verify that a popup blocker is disabled on your browser.
Logout from the Portal
Login again with your username.
After login - did you get a "You are already logged in" message? - if so, this means there is another open browser with your username, and that is the reason for the problem.
Otherwise, I would recommend open a CSN.

Porblem with mpeg format even converted using itunes

I bought a new ipod of 80 gb but when i try to add the video files to it and convert it using itunes as convert for ipod/iphone it was playing video but the audio was not playing.
Could any please help me in this

Quicktime or Quicktime Pro (both of which iTunes uses) does not convert "muxed" ( muxed means multiplexed where the audio and video are stored on the same track) video files properly. It only plays the video and not the audio.

You need a 3rd party converter to convert the file with both audio and video.

Porblem with the FCConverter class

Sorry guys about the last thread. I was so sleep deprived that day. Right now I AM LEARNING THE BASICS because this is an intro to java type corse.
My problem:
Classes: Temperature.java & FCConverter.java
Purpose of program: To convert fareighheight to celcius and vice versa
Problem: I don't have any clue on what to do to make the FCConverter to work. IU have messed around with this for hours and have not yet had any sucess.

I know temperature's source code is fine because it was supplied by our textbook but we have to write the FCConverter class and I'm am completely stuck on this.

I think when you give somebody the answer it is
typically applied without further thought. No
learning takes place. You might've noticed it on the
other thread, where you posted the code yet OP asked
you to describe the algorithm too.
In the end everyone looses out - OP does not learn,
you forego the pleasure of teaching (as opposed to
telling) and the rest of us get to read yet more
questions that have the same error at their core.
I hope that doesn't come across as moralizing. I
respect your right to do as you please and will not
raise this topic again. :-)I guess my teaching method needs a little work. I guess I start by assuming that if someone is asking a question they want to learn something.
You might notice that in both cases I gave enough of the answer to help if they wanted to figure out what was going on, but not enough to simply solve the problem for them. It seems I'm just being too oblique.
