Portal Content Not Coming EP Content Administrator

Dear All,
I have installed SAP NetWeaver 2004s, EP 7.0 SP 9, SAP J2EE Engine 7.0 Patch Level.
After this i have performed the SLD configuration with reference to the document "Post Installation Guide - System Landscape Directory of SAP NetWeaver 2004s".
But even after this when i login in EP with Administrator, i am not able to see the portal content in Content Administrator neither am i able to view content of System Landscape in System Administration --> System Configuration.
Can anybody kindly tell me what all needs to be configured or checked for the same to be running.

Hello John,
Used the host name instead of the ip address in the url http://<host name>:50400/irj/portal.
Maintain the host name in the host file of the OS.
ip address host name.

Content not in the content box

I'm having a problem with my content not in my content box. I have a webpage started from one of the Codify templates and all was going according to plan but then I added some content to my Rates tab and it appears out of the :content area". This may also explain why I can't get a vertical scrollbar to show up. Thoughts? Ideas? What have I done wrong this time? The page in qusetion is here

JCO Destination are not coming in Content Administrator

Hi Team
I have created one Development Component in Local Development and imported an RFC. The JCOs used are standard WD_MODELDATA_DEST and WD_RFC_METADATA_TEST.. The JCOs are already configured and tested fine.
When I am running the application it is giving error JCOs are not maintained. When I have gone to Development component in Content administrators. There are no JCos present in JCO Connections tab.
While in other Webdynpro project JCOs are present under JCO Connections tab.
I am working in SAP EP 7.3 ....
Please suggest what can I check.

I have used the old Adaptive rfc deprecated method now the issue is not coming... The JCOs in ARFC2 method should be maintained some where else.....

Content Not Coming Properly after converting a Smartform to PDF.

I am converting a smartform into PDF format using CONVERT_OTF .
This smart form will be triggered from the portal at the occurance of an event .After Conversion some texts are properly outputted in the PDF but some texts which are in arabic are not coming properly ( shows some junk data in a language other than Arabic).
Can any give a Solution ??

Sample portal does not show up in administration portal

hi,
i just installed an evaluation copy of bea weblogic portal/workshop/server 8.1.4. i was trying out the sample portal in workshop, and i am able to open the web application and project and see the avitek portal in the designer. however, when i go into the administration portal, while it sees the sampleportal web application, i don't see any portals under it. how do i get the avitek sample portal to show up in the administration portal?

actually, you need to create a desktop that references the portal xml file as a template. after going thru all the documentation, i finally figured that out.

ESS Content not visible in Content Administration

I've installed SAP Netweaver 2004s Java + Portal 7.00 SP7.
I also deployed ESS, MSS and PCUI_GP. The content of ESS is not visible when I look in de content administration. I'd expected it under "Portal Content --> Content provided by SAP --> End user content".
Noting strange hapened during deployment. I'm using user Administrator (UME = Java database).
Any sugestions?

I am having problems with watching movies.Once I rent. Movie it says "content not available" I recently updated to iOS 7.1.1 and I'm using an ipad can anybody help?

After updating to iOS 7.1.1 I can no longer see movies I've rented. It either comes up "content not available" or "content not authorized" even though the payment was taken?ive never had problems before

Portal Content not showing up

Hi all
After i upgraded to java sp leve 13 and updated my SLD using CIM and CR_catalog to version 4.
In Portal main screen in path System Administration -> System Configuration Contents are not coming
In the bottom of browser i get the following message Please Help

Did you try with the super admin role, might be a permissions issue.

Portal Content not visible

Hi All,
We are working on EP 7.0 SP9 using Internet Explorer 6.0 SP2 browser, but still the portal content directory in the portal is not visible. It shows javascript error in the status bar. The page gets loaded but with javascript errors.I am logging into portal with super admin role, but the same problem is coming. Even in Mozilla browser, the same error is displayed. I have even added the portal URL in trusted site.
Useful answer will be awarded suitably.

EP content transport : Transaction Iviews not coming up....All others ok

Dear all
We have made a transport package to move content from dev to QA. All the iviews, roles, worksets are coming up fine in the QA server but for some strange reason, transaction Iviews are not coming up and an "yellow icon" indicating "link not available" is coming up .
while transporting no errors were thrown and it showed zero errors.
Kindly let me know if any one encountered such a error during transport.

The related template on which the transaction iview was based was not present. Once corrected everything went fine

Portal content not transporting. Yellow triangle with exclamation shows.

Hi,
I cannot move 2 new folders and 10 iViews from my DEV portal to my QC portal. When I try, the package shows up in QC, but when I look at the package, a yellow triangle with a exclamation point inside shows to the immediate left of the items to move. And if I select any one of the objects to get properties, I get the errror "Failed to get Property Editor! null". Further, I cannot create the folders manually on QC, because it get an error

One of the iViews is built from a custom PAR. When I first attempted to import this package, the PAR did not exist. I have since loaded the PAR.
It seems that the folders exist "somewhere" in the portal, but I cannot see them in the "content admin" mode.
What can I do to resolve this?

This has been solved. I noticed that other portal developers could see the content without error. As it turns, what I had to do was refresh cache on the server, and clear my browser cache. Once I did this, everything appeared as normal.

In place display of Portal content(not URL!)

All,
Created content area. create folder and
added a couple of docs and a few text items to folder. exposed folder as portlet. I don't
want Portal to take me in the content area.
How can I see the content (inplace display)
without the Portal dropping me into the
content area ? When I was on 3.0.7, I was told that 3.0.8 would have it. Should we wait
for the next version ?

Are you using 3.0.8?
With 3.0.8, subfolder links will render within the portlet. All other links will take you to the target document or content area.
We're looking at different navigation models for future releases.

WinHTTP Web Proxy Auto-Detective Service
World Wide Web Publishing Service
are coming rest all are not coming , can anyone help me to resolve this issue.

I think you are looking for the server list.
With BOE R3 and the introduction of the SIA the servers are managed be the SIA.
If you need to see the serverlist go to the CMC or clicl in enable/disable server.
I recommend to post further queries to the [BusinessObjects Enterprise Administration|BI Platform; forum.
This forum is dedicated to topics related to administration and configuration of BusinessObjects Enterprise, BusinessObjects Edge, and Crystal Reports Server.
