Portal WS client development error

Hi,
I have created a webservice in WAS and tested the same in browser.
while I try to create a portal service based on wsdl client side it gives following pop up error messages.
1) unable to perform reflection on the selected interface.
2)Cannot process methods
3)cannot perform operation . please check your wsdl and connection
Can anyone help me on this.

Portal "Maintain JCO Destionations" Error

Dear Gurus,
Java System : NW7.31 EHP1
Backend : ERP6 EHP6
When i try to "maintain" or "create" JCO destionations in Content Administrator i am taking error like this ,
My SLD Test Connection is successfull and SLD is running,
I have configured JCO (SAP_R3_SelfServiceGenerics_MetaData) destination for ESS MSS packages, but when i travel in these packages in portal i am taking error,

Thee is 2 possible scenarios here.
Either your SLD is actually down or not starting correctly or there is a misconfiguration on the application side.
Therefore lets check these points:
[1] SLD side: Can you please check the target SLD's are up by calling the URL for each of them in a browser:
http://<hostname>:<port>/sld
Can you logon? Does appears as running when you logon?
If there is no working connection to the SLD it is not possible to
maintain any JCo destination at all.
If there are problems connection the SLD you can change the used
connection parameters using the Visual Admin.
[1.1] Please choose the SLD Data Supplier service and select the CIM
Client Generation Settings tab.
[1.2] You can now define the connection parameters. After that you have
to save your settings.
[1.3] You can test also the connection now using the #CIMClient Test#
button.
[1.4] After saving and restarting the Web Dynpro Content Administrator
uses the changed connection parameters
automatically. There is no need to restart the whole SAP J2EE Engine for
that.
[2] WD application side:
Could you please check if the JCO destination is really avaialable on
the Web Dynpro Content Admin?
you can start it directly using a URL like
http://<YourHost>:<YourPort>/webdynpro/dispatcher/tc~wd~toos/ContentAdministrator
Be aware that you need a user with administrator permissions. If not,
you are not allowed to start the Web Dynpro Content Administrator.

Portal Drive Client Installation Problem

I am attempting to install the Portal Drive Client on my PC and the installation finishes with the following errors. Does anyone know what could be causing this and/or how to resolve the problem?

What version of Portal Drive are you attempting to install? Also, what desktop O/S are you using?
We are in the process of going to Windows 7 for our desktop, and we are having issues getting Portal Drive 4.4.6317.17 to work with it. I just submitted an OSS message on it.

Weblogic portal 9.2 (development versus staging)

am brand new to Weblogic portal.
I was going through 9.2 portal tutorial and came across 2 section
a)create a portal in your development environment
b)assembling a desktop in your staging environment
I am confused because in both I can create portal/portlet etc....hence wondering what is the difference with "b" from "a"

a> While creating a portal, developer creates a .portal file adds pages and portlets to the portal and then when runs the .portal file, it is a file based portal which is good in many ways but you cannot do personalization and entitlements to some resources like pages etc.
b> Based on the .portal file developed by the developer in part a, a portal admin or designated admin, can create a desktop in which case it is rendered as a streaming portal. It supports personalization and entitlement to all resources like pages etc. Also you can have multiple desktops based on a single .portal file. You can add, delete modify different components on a desktop like pages, books, portlets at runtime. Also you can have multiple desktops from same.portal file which can serve different users.
Now it depends on your requirements which approach you want to take.

I had Registered a Form in Oracle apps
After that i'm trying to open the form,then this message will be displayed
Developer Error: invalid window block name passed to set_window_position
in the PreForm Trigger I had written the code as apps.set_window_position('MY block name(MAIN_BLOCK)','MY window(MAIN_WINDOW)')
i had wriiten like that
but
After click on that Ok Button of the error message my form is Open
and My form is Also not having any Minimize,Maximize and Close Buttons
Please Tel me How should i resolve that Error and also how can i Get that buttons for the Form

and My form is Also not having any Minimize,Maximize and Close ButtonsThese could be controlled by the APPS.Set_Window_Position procedure, but I'm not sure. It could simply be that you set (or neglected to set) the default properties of your Form's window the enable these buttons. More than likely, the APPS procedure is setting them. It's been too long since I worked with the EBS to say for certain. You really should ask your question in the General EBS Discussion forum.

Content Presenter Portlet (CPP) on weblogic portal 10.3 giving error

We are using WLP 10gR3 & UCM 10gR3 in our environment.
We've done a new installation on portal following the checklist which is working fine on a working env.
On portal application CPP giving error
Content Presenter Portlet giving err-An appropriate display template for this item could'nt be found
WLP is able to connect to UCM & all required patches for CPP (patch APD4, patch AVW6, patch ZKHC) are also poperly applied.
On console, error logs show - Error - <May 5, 2011 1:02:49 PM IST> <Warning> <Events> <BEA-401903> <Duplicate EventListener com.bea.content.repo.internal.server.logic.search.ContentExporterListener not added to Handler com.bea.p13n.events.internal.EventHandler on Type {3}.>.
Not able to understand what is going wrong?
Same set of libraries are also applied in this env.

Weblogic Portal Server interrupted abruptly error

hi,
i have an issue with weblogic portal server 9.2,
At times my workshops get hang and i have to kill the weblogic portal server instance,
the next time i start the workshop and try to start the weblogic portal server it gives error either that there is exclusive lock on the ear project or it says like the server was interrupted abruptly, and the server does not start,
How do i solve such kind of issue, my server is not starting and i need to resolve such kind of error urgently,

If the error is about the exclusive lock on the ear project it means you have made a lock on the resources in weblogic server admin console.You need to realase the lock from the console.
Also if some unexpected error comes?
Just apply the weblogic 9.2 patch before starting the workshop.You can find the patch at C:\bea92\workshop92\workshop4WP location.Run the WLWPatchInitialize.cmd script.

BO 4.0 Web Intelligence Rich Client Login Error

Hi Everyone,
i have an error about log on rich client in BO 4.0 .
Error is "Logon failure due to internal error".
i can use rich client in server machine, but i try to use in client that error raised.
i search forum and internet, some of people encounter this problem suggest some answers. but any suggestion does not resolve my problem.
i tried to delete .lis files, and change default folder.
do you suggest anything about this error?
by the way network port is open (6400,6410)

I resolve WebI error.
there are *.lsi files in My Documents\My SAP BusinessObjects Documents\LocData normally. these files are created by BO System when you log in firstly - i guess. if you create those files manually, you can grante log in with WebI. i do not know these file's contents. i have this files ex server and use them, after edited.
but ı cannot resolve designer problem. I search internet and tried almost every solution which suggested.
by the way, our system is BO 4.0 sp2 patch6 and server machine is;
Windows 2008 Server R2
16 GB RAM,
3.7 Ghz Processor

JCRMI Client Application - error on launching

I have compiled JCRMI Client without errors, but during launching within Eclipse the message appears :
"Could not resolve classpath container:
com.ibm.bluez.jcop.eclipse.containers.cardconfig"
What does it mean? How can I recover the error?

I have seen this before, but I have no idea what the cause is. The person that was having the problem later reported that reinstalling the jcop toolset helped. Otherwise I don't have any good suggestions.

ORA-31202: DBMS_LDAP: LDAP client/server error: Invalid credentials

Hey Guys,
I have an application with LDAP authentication and a custom login page (pg 101). When I run this app, the login page displays first, logs me in and logs out fine. However, when I branch to this application from another application, the login page shows up with the following error:
ORA-31202: DBMS_LDAP: LDAP client/server error: Invalid credentials
Error ERR-1082 Error in executing authorization scheme code.
I looked at debug and this is happening because when this page is loaded, it goes to my authentication scheme and tries to authenticate me even though I havnt logged in and because no user exists at this point the error happens.
I have set the login page to 'Page is Public' and have also used the following code in the authentication scheme's Page Sentry Function:

Your Error Message is like => cannot open log:/w2k3-web53/sapmnt/trans/log/cc000007.ecc
This means 'w2k3-web53' is your machine name. and your sap system name is 'ECC'.
1) If you are on windows then :
    Type '
w2k3-web53\sapmnt' in address bar, this gives you an error and hence you are getting the above mentioned SAP error.
    Therefore to get out of this error follow the simple steps=>
     I) Create 'sapmnt/trans/log' (recursive) directories anywhere on your machine.
    II) Share 'sapmnt' directory over network {right click on directory->properties->sharing} with full access to others.
   III) Confirm this by typing '
w2k3-web53\sapmnt' in your address bar. 'CC00000*.ECC' will be created automatically by SAP system while copying.
2) If you are using Linux then:
    Create the directories as mentioned above and give full access to directories by using CHMOD command.
    Share 'sapmnt' directory if necessary.
Note: Change the protection level of your client in SAP if necessary:
SCC4->EDIT->Double click your client -> then set Protection level at level 0 {No restriction}.
