Client copy error:cannot open log:/w2k3-web53/sapmnt/trans/log/cc000007.ecc

Hi Experts,
While Client copy in Local System , I am facin gthis Error, please anybody help me out.
client copy error:cannot open log:/w2k3-web53/sapmnt/trans/log/cc000007.ecc
Regards,
Amit,

Your Error Message is like => cannot open log:/w2k3-web53/sapmnt/trans/log/cc000007.ecc
This means 'w2k3-web53' is your machine name. and your sap system name is 'ECC'.
1) If you are on windows then :
    Type '
w2k3-web53\sapmnt' in address bar, this gives you an error and hence you are getting the above mentioned SAP error.
Therefore to get out of this error follow the simple steps=>
     I) Create 'sapmnt/trans/log' (recursive) directories anywhere on your machine.
II) Share 'sapmnt' directory over network {right click on directory->properties->sharing} with full access to others.
III) Confirm this by typing '
w2k3-web53\sapmnt' in your address bar. 'CC00000*.ECC' will be created automatically by SAP system  while copying.
2) If you are using Linux then:
Create the directories as mentioned above and give full access to directories by using CHMOD command.
    Share 'sapmnt' directory if necessary.
Note: Change the protection level of your client in SAP if necessary:
SCC4->EDIT->Double click your client -> then set Protection level at level 0 {No restriction}.

I'm working with the NW7 ABAP Trial Version on my laptop.
I've created a client 100 and logged into it as SAP* (after setting login/no_automatic_user_sapstar to 0.)
But when I use SCCL (client local copy) to try and copy from 000 into 100, I get the following error message:
    Cannot open log
    hostname-l\sapmnt\trans\log\CC00000n.NSP
Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?

  • Discovey system Client copy error TA 074 cannot open log :\\hit-nxdomain\sa

I have HP Discovery system installed as per quick start guide. After the completion when I tried to cpy client 200 I get error msg TA074 can not open log:
    hit-nxdomain\sapmnt\trans\log\cc000013.erp
Tried adding sapmnt full  permissions to SAPserviceERP

I had similar error message and I figured it had to do with the host name. I had changed the server name after the installation. I changed the server name to its original and made the client copy.
    Hope this helps.

  • Client Copy Error on ECC 6.0

    New install of ECC 6.0.
Attempted to perform a client copy of 000 and received the following message:
    "Cannot open log:

    Message no. TA074
The action you requested writes a log file. However, log file

    System Response
    The action was terminated.
    Procedure
    Contact your system Admininstrator."
Would like to know how to maintain the directory which includes the log file?

Anthony, who install this server ? Are you able to login in this OS (remote for example) under user who has an "administrator" permission? You need change the permissions on "sapmnt" folder and for Share on this folder, SAP server works on windows under SAPservice"SID" user account, and as you can see
"The action you requested writes a log file. However, log file
    iscap02\sapmnt\trans\log\CC001088.ECC could not be opened"
    Try also check only
iscap02 , are you see the "sapmnt" folder? Regards.

Well.. those don't look like errors to me... depending on what copy profile you use SAP chooses what tables to copy and what tables to delete... so basically is just letting you know which tables are not to be copied across...

  • XOrg - Error: cannot open display: 0

I was recently using 'play on linux' to play 'League Of Legends' when the game crashed. On reboot and starting my GUI using 'startx' my GUI worked for about 40 seconds, after that I lost the ability to exit/restart my Window Manager(i3) or start any new programs. If I try to start a program from a previously existing terminal window I get something along the lines of 'Error: Cannot Open Display :0'.
I can still switch workspaces and seemingly operate already existing terminal windows.
This happens on every boot. My only known method of exiting the GUI is to restart the Machine. The 'echo $DISPLAY' command returns ':0'. I dont seem to have /var/log/Xorg.0.log' or '/var/log/Xorg.log'. Im posting from my phone.
I have already uninstalled Play on Linux, and reinstalled xorg-server.

    Look in ~/.local/share/xorg/Xorg.0.log
    Anything in the journal?

  • Upgrade Plug-ins error (Cannot Open File)

I was working on a document in CS3 as a final thesis for my masters work. I was using a Blurb template in order to export the file for printing. In between working on the file, one afternoon I could no longer open the file and was met with the follwing error:
    Cannot Open File
    IMAGE.RPLN
    IMAGE FILTERS.RPLN
    HYPERLINKS.RPLN
    "Cannot open "Masters_book dec.indd".
Please upgrade your plug-ins to their latest
versions, or upgrade to the latest version of
    Adobe InDesign."
I hadn't changed any other files on my computer or ran any updates. I was simply met with the error when I tried launching the application. After trying to run necessary updates I was still met with the same error message. I downloaded the trial version of CS5 on another machine and tried to open it and was once again met with the above error message. I have a back up of the file that I can use but it still represents a lot of lost work if I have to resort to an old file.

I probably shouldn't dwell, on this, but I can get really worked up over it.
I come from the Cosmos and I can assure you we have sent no "Rays" to your puny Earth Planet today!(*)
Since this concerns a CS3 file and I haven't seen posts of others having the same issue, either with CS3 or with any other version, I have to take it as a One-Time Fluke.
I'm pretty firmly convinced this never happens. There are real problems and even if we only see them once, they are happening hundreds and thousands of times and going unreported and undetected, but they are no less real. In fact, because of the reporting bias towards repeatable problems, they are probably causing added frustration and confusion without being detected or fixed properly. So, IMNSHO, we owe a larger duty to pay attention to so-called "unreproducible" bugs.
(You can imagine how well these conversations with Adobe Support go...)
Of course, in this case, it's probably really hard to find the problem. And since it's effectively an end-of-life'd product that is 3 versions behind the released product and at least 4 versions behind the development product, well, it's hard to lose too much sleep over it.
(*) Yes, I know, this incident would not have been "today." Consider it time dilation.

    hi
I'm trying to use foreachloop container in order to read the data that i have in several txt files and upload it into MRR table.
when i'm trying to run the package, i'm getting the following error:
[Flat File Source [2]] Warning: The system cannot find the file specified.
[Flat File Source [2]] Error: Cannot open the datafile "VendorPurchases20050512.txt".
[SSIS.Pipeline] Error: Flat File Source failed the pre-execute phase and returned error code 0xC020200E.
I don't know what's the problem since it was working before. In the flat file connection manager i defined all the path including the name of the file.
    I'll be happy for assistance
    thanks
    Yaron

    Hi Yaron,
Does the file stored in local file system or a share folder on remote server? If you can load data from a file in local computer, but cannot load data from a file in a remote computer, the issue may be caused by the Kerberos authentication. In this condition,
    check the following points:
    Enable SQL Server for Kerberos
Check delegation settings for SQL Server service account and Computer
Add Host SPNs for FileShare Server and SQL Server

  • Getting error "cannot open" when playing Videos purchased on itunes.

I'm trying to stream videos from my PC to my iPad 2 using the "Videos" app and i keep getting error "cannot open" on any video that I try to play that I purchased through iTunes. Other videos I added that werent purshased through itunes play fine however. Can anyone help with a solution? My iPad is on 5.0.1 if that helps.

I'm getting this error suddenly. I used to be able to stream purchased movies just fine, and now it simply says, "Cannot open." With movies I ripped from my DVDs, they will play just fine, but movies purchased from iTunes give the error every time.
I know I don't have any odd characters in my name like mikesoderstrom had and I haven't changed any account details since the last time it was working a few weeks ago. The only major change I can think of is upgrading to iTunes 11.
My iTunes account says that both my Mac and my Phone are still authorized. Maybe I should try deauthorizing all anyway, but I'd rather not deal with the hassle of re-authorizing, especially if it didn't work for someone who tried it already.
I have no problems with downloading/updating apps, just with Home Sharing purchased movies.

  • Loosing X ... 'Error: cannot open display: localhost:11.0'

Hello, I hope some may be able to help me finding a solution to this X related problem.
Before Lion everything worked as expected.
    From a terminal I
    ssh -X user@linuxbox
and it work as expected... all the X application come back to my Mac.
but after a while (generaly not long ... about 5 to 10 min)
I cannot launch any X application anymore.
within my Terminal I get "Error: cannot open display: localhost:11.0"
and  on the linuxbox side I get " sshd[xxxx]: channel 4: open failed: administratively prohibited: open failed"
Running 10.7.1. fully updated (from my 10.6.8 Mac I do not have this problem
    ... and never had)
Thanks in advance for your help
    PhS

'arch' is set as the alias for localhost.  I never entered 'arch' anyway, that's just what the error said.
e:  I tried ssh-ing into a X session on another laptop running an Ubuntu live CD.  I can ssh into it normally, but when I run 'xinit -e ssh -XCT [email protected] gnome-session -- :1' it just starts a new X session on ctrl+alt+F8 using my startx file, rather than the one on the other computer.

  • Error "cannot open render.mov"

    Hi
In FCP, Im trying to fix up some audio. Sent the clip to Soundtrack pro (STP) but STP says error "cannot open render.mov"
    any suggestions?
I also tried opening the file directly - eg "open in editor"didn't work
also tried changing the extension to ".wav" which didn't work either.

    Hi
I've got the same difficulty sending clips to Soundtrack Pro in Final Cut Studio 3. This evening, I found a turnaround that works (at least in my case), but that do not explain whether it is a bug or not.
I observed that when I send a clip to STP, two files are created :
    • one looks like a STP package file and contains two small files (among them a render.mov that can be read by QT, showing that it is a sound file)
    • the other has the same name but truncated (only the first 18 letters) and is a video clip.
I put this last video clip inside the STP package, and then it worked : this new package file opens in STP correctly, I can edit the sound tracks, and when I save the file in STP, all changes are made in FCP.
Can you reproduce this on your systems ?

  • Getting an error 'Cannot open Boot device' while trying to install Solaris

    Hi,
We were trying to install Solaris * on a Sun Sparc system and the CD rom drive does not seem to get recognised. When we try booting from cd rom we get an error 'Cannot open boot device' .
This server was up & running and we were trying to remove a hard disk that had failed and modified the vfstab script . After that the system failed to even boot up. So when we tried reinstalling the OS we are running into this problem.
Am new to this technology ...And any help would be greatly appreciated. .....
    Thanks

Cdrom drive must be scsi device 6
I assume you are running < boot cdrom> at the ok prompt
also at the ok prompt run the command <probe-scsi> (without the angled brackets) you need to see the following:
    Target 6
Unit 0 Removable read only device TOSHIBA XM.......bigpileofnumbers
If not, check the cdrom drive and the cdrom inside
    hope this helps

  • Getting error- Cannot open as archive for CS6 Master suite collection. How to d/l & install?

I have an account and a license key code. I purchased a new laptop that doesn't have a dvd drive. I want to download CS6 Master Suite Collection but I keep getting error "cannot open as archive"!!! I have already located the d/l files, but they will NOT install. Does anyone know how to get around this problem?

if you downloaded an exe and 7z, they should both be in the same folder and click (or double click) the exe.
do NOT manually try to extract the 7z file.
if that doesn't solve your problem, what file names and extensions did you download and what are their file sizes?

    Hi Praveen,
Whether you tried to backup the library using PowerShell exporting command.
Export sites, lists, or document libraries in SharePoint 2013:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee428301(v=office.15).aspx
As the commvault is a third party tool and I am not familar with it, I suggest you ask the third party support or forum for help.

  • Error: Cannot open SharePoint Workspace. Try restarting your computer.

Several of our Windows 7 SP1 workstations get the following message on Windows startup. The message simply reads: "SharePoint Workspace Error: Cannot open SharePoint Workspace. Try restarting your computer. Click here for more information."
When you click on the link, it takes you to:
    https://support.microsoft.com/kb/927909/en-us?wa=wsignin1.0
We've gone through the steps on the above link, but we're still having the problem. I've seen this question posted elsewhere on the 'Net, but there's no answer given.
Your help is appreciated. Thank you.

I had a user with a similar issue.  In their C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\Groove\System directory you should find two files titled groovebinaryfilestore.xss and groovebinaryfilestore.xssr.  After running a repair on their
Office install, I renamed these two files to 1groovebinaryfilestore.xss and 2groovebinaryfilestore.xssr.  After renaming the files I launched SharePoint WorkSpace without error as it created the new binary stores.
