========================================================================
PURPOSE
==================
GL Posting 시 발생하는 문제를 좀 더 손쉽게 파악하여 해결 할 수 있도록 한다.
Problem Description
GL Posting 시 다음과 같은 error 가 발생하였다.
SHRD0114: Executing Pro*C statement Insert into gl_account_h...
GL_PROPABLE_DUPLICATE_RANGES: APP-00001 cannot find message name
GL_PROPABLE_DUPLICATE_RANGES
SHRD0043: ERROR: ORA-00001: unique constraint (GL.

Workaround
N/A
Solution Description
1. 다음 문장을 수행한다.
SELECT DISTINCT
fvh1.parent_flex_value "Segment w/Overlapping Children",
SUBSTR(fvh1.child_flex_value_low,1,30) "Overlapping Child Low Value",
SUBSTR(fvh1.child_flex_value_high,1,30) "Overlapping Child High Value",
SUBSTR(fvh2.child_flex_value_low,1,30) "Overlapped By Child Low Value",
SUBSTR(fvh2.child_flex_value_high,1,30) "Overlapped By Child High Value"
FROM FND_FLEX_VALUE_HIERARCHIES fvh1, FND_FLEX_VALUE_HIERARCHIES fvh2
WHERE fvh1.parent_flex_value = fvh2.parent_flex_value
AND fvh1.flex_value_set_id = (select flex_value_set_id
from fnd_flex_value_sets
where flex_value_set_name = '&Value_Set_Name')
AND fvh1.rowid != fvh2.rowid
AND fvh1.flex_value_set_id = fvh2.flex_value_set_id
AND NVL(fvh2.CHILD_FLEX_VALUE_LOW,'X') <= NVL(fvh1.CHILD_FLEX_VALUE_HIGH,'X')
AND NVL(fvh2.CHILD_FLEX_VALUE_HIGH,'X') >= NVL(fvh1.CHILD_FLEX_VALUE_LOW,'X')
2. 다음과 같은 output 이 나올 것이다.
EXAMPLE OF OUTPUT
Enter value for value_set_name: VALUE_SET_ACCOUNT
old 11: where flex_value_set_name = '&Value_S)
new 11: where flex_value_set_name = 'VALUE_SE)
Segment w/Overlapping Children
Overlapping Child Low Value Overlapping Child High Value
Overlapped By Child Low Value Overlapped By Child High Value
1000
6000 6000
5000 6000
1000
5000 6000
6000 6000
3. 위의 output에 대한 설명은 다음과 같다.
고객이 GL Application에서 Setup->Financials->Flexfields->Key->Value화면을 열어 다음과 같은 작업을 하였다.
Entered values:
1000 defined as:
* parent
* child ranges:
From To Include
6000 6000 Child values only
3000 3000 Parent values only
3000 defined as:
* parent
* child ranges:
From To Include
2000 2000 Child values only
4000 4000 Child values only
5000 6000 Child values only
The hierarchy structure is like this:
1000
_________|___________
6000 3000
____|______________
2000 4000 5000 6000
위에서 볼수 있듯이 6000 이라는 value 가 중복이 되고 있고 그 사항이 제일 처음에 수행한 script의 output 에 overlapping child ranges 로 나타나고 있는 것이다.
4. 정정하는 step
4.1 Setup->Financials-> Flexfields-> Key->Values. 로 가서 화면을 open한다.
4.2 COA 를 Query 한다.
4.3 Overlapping 된 child ranges 를 찾아서 정정한다.

  • Post Process Event Handler ----Unique Constraint Violation--Create User

    Hi Evryone..
    I am creating the user using the create user request template and there is one level of approval for this.
    I have one pre process event handler which populates one field A and one post process event handler which updates some 3 fields in the user form .
    In request template itself we had placed value as "ABC" for field B and this field B will be overridden in the post process event handler with Value as "XYZ" .
    Now when i raise the request the user is getting created in OIM but the value XYZ is not getting replaced in the field B.
    Below are the errors which i got in the logs while executing post process event handler :
    <Mar 28, 2012 10:25:58 AM CDT> <Warning> <oracle.iam.callbacks.common> <IAM-2030146> <[CALLBACKMSG] Are applicable policies present for this async eventhandler ? : false>

    I checked reservations table and there are no records in that table.
    Has any one faced this issue..if so how it can be resolved..

    Are you trying to update the User ID? As far as I know during create user requests, OIM reserves the user login as it goes through approval and you cannot update that directly I think. I haven't tried it but can you tell me which fields you are prepopulating and which are you updating? Are there any OOTB fields in this or UDF?

  • Post-Installation Process Error (Template Base)

    Hi Experts,
    I try to run template base post-installation process in client 100, we never run post installation process in client 001 (Which is recommended before making the client copy), while doing template base post-installation process failed (got error) at PIPostInstallProcess step 7 u201CAdd Installed Product2u201D I move further and then it failed at step 19 (u201CConfigure the Role of the Integration Serviceu201D) and 20 (Register Queues) same process. It failed at number of process, so what I did I move to manual post-installation process but I stuck in the step were we need to import exchange_profile.xml because I can not see this file at sap\BX0\SYS\global, is this file being deleted by template base post-installation if yes then how to recover it?
    Without this file i can not complete the manual post installation process...:-(
    With Regards
    Sunil

    i think we do not need exchange_profile.xml file in 7.0 post-installation. ok i skip that step in post-installation now when i created LCRSAPRFC_BX0 in Visual Admin services->JCo RFCProvider and try to start it, it is throwing an Error.
    I am using user "PI_JCO_RFC" has respective role assign to it.
    I am not sure whether i am providing correct value to these filed or not

  • Post-mapping process error

    I have built all of my process in v9.0.2.62.3 except for once the row is loaded into my staging table, I want to delete this row from the source. I was trying to use the post-mapping process to call a procedure that would perform the deletion. However, I can not get the post-mapping process to work.
    The manual states to add a post-mapping process operator to a mapping:
    Drop a Post-Mapping Process operator onto the Mapping Editor canvas.
    Select the appropriate procedure from the selection list. This were I select a procedure called drop_ind with one input parameter, v_ind_id, of type number.
    Connect the output attribute of a source operator to the INOUTGRP1 of the Post-Mapping Process operator.
    This is where things start to go wrong with the manual. There is no INOUTGRP1, but only an INPUTS. If I try and attach the target column to the INPUTS, I get an API8009 cannot add attributes to POSTMAPPING INPUTS error. So I attach my target column directly to the input parameter
    Rename the operator:
    This goes well enough.
    Then I try and validate, and I get the following message wehn I try to generate the mapping :
    Code cannot be generated.
    Specify another operating mode or see validation messages for details.
    When I validate I get :VLD-2451 Illegal connection to POSTMAPPING. details = Illegal connection to POSTMAPPING.
    Obviously, I am doing something wrong, but what?

    Matthew,
    First a question, what are you trying to add to the post mapping process? The ID of the single row that is processed?
    In that case, you will have to rethink the strategy. What happens in a post map process (and the rest of the map) is the following:
    1) execute any pre mapping processes
    2) execute the main body of the mapping (this is you diagram excluding pre and post mapping processes)
    3) execute the post mapping process
    This means that the post mapping process will be run whenever the rest of the mapping is complete.
    So to do what you want, you can use the post mapping process but you would add a marker to every inserted record and then in the post map procedure delete all the ones that have this marker in the target from the source.
    In that case you would need any parameters from your map into the procedure and you should be all set.
    Hope this helps,
    Jean-Pierre

    Have you tried searching Metalink? A unique constraint violation on a SYS table by MMON will almost certainly require Oracle Support's assistance to resolve. Something rather deep inside Oracle has done something wrrong.

  • PK with TIMESTAMP causes insert unique constraint error at DST switch

    Hi,
    I have a test that inserts rows in a table that has a TIMESTAMP in its PK.
    When inserting rows that cross over the November DST change, it tries to insert these dates:
    --- Sun Nov 02 02:00:00 EST 2008
    --- Sun Nov 02 01:00:00 EST 2008
    --- Sun Nov 02 01:00:00 EDT 2008
    This is the output of 3 different UTC dates. We can see that there are 2 x 1am, but they differ in their DST. They are really 3 different UTC dates.
    But I get this error:
    --- Expected error: ORA-00001: unique constraint (DDLTEST1.SYS_C00142622) violated
    But I can get around that error and can insert these same dates if I set my JVM to UTC. The inserts work so I suspect this to be a JDBC issue.
    I am using the Oracle Thin driver in a spring app:
    <property name="driverClassName" value="oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver" />
    <property name="url" value="jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:db" />
    I can post the sample code but wonder if there is an obvious answer to this.
    Note that MySql had the same problem. I fixed it by specifying the UTC timezone in the connection string, like this:
    jdbc:mysql://[host]/[db]?useLegacyDatetimeCode=false&useTimezone=true&sessionVariables=time_zone='UTC'
    Any idea how to get around that problem without setting JVM to UTC ?

    Hi,
    I suspect this to be a JDBC issue.Nope, this is your schema design gap. It breaks the main principle of PK: to uniquely identify a row in a table always. Your PK doesn't satisfy it, since it depends on client's settings.Why is setting the JVM to UTC working ? This is the part that confuses me.
    I create the 3 dates in Eastern time, then change the JVM default to UTC: the 3 inserts work.
    I create the 3 dates in Eastern time, then leave the JVM to Eastern time , the 3rd insert gets the unique constraint error.
    To me, the PK principle is not broken: these are 3 different UTC dates.

  • FSCM 9.0: COBOL Process GLPPPOST does not post Journal Entry correctly

    Folks,
    Hello. I am workin on FSCM 9.0 General Ledger module. "Edit Journal" is AE program that works correctly. But "Post Journal" is a COBOL program that does not works correctly.
    COBOL process GLPPPOST posts only debit accounts of a Journal entry into table PS_LEDGER but does not post credit accounts of a Journal Entry into table PS_LEDGER. When run the Ledger Report, the report has only column headers and has no data.
    Does FSCM 9.0 have a problem or COBOL process does not work correctly ? Can any folks help me ? Thanks.

Then linked UserID VP1 with BU01 in User Preference. I have checked all information about the 3 concepts (VP1, BU01 and RECORDING) and don't see anything wrong.
    I suspect the problem is in the Journal Line page because its Chartfileds belong to 2 SetID (SHARE and FEDRL) and 2 Business Unit (BU01 and BU02).
    When define Chartfields value using "Setup FSC > Common Definition > Design Chartfield > Define Value", I see Chartfields "Fund", "Class" and "Program" with SetID "FEDRL", and other Chartfields with SetID "SHARE". The 2 SetIDs are default in the system.
    Because one Business Unit (BU01) can link to only one SetID (SHARE), I create one more Business Unit BU02 and linked with SetID "FEDRL". Thus, when create a Journal entry using "General Ledger > Journal > Create Journal ", we type in Business Unit (BU01) and Ledger Group (RECORDING) in Header page, but in Line page, some of Chartfields link with SetID SHARE and BU01, and some of Chartfields link with SetID FEDRL and BU02. The journal entry indicates "Inter/Intra Unit Journal". When select "Edit Journal" and click "Process", the message comes up as follows:
    "Ledger Group RECORDING is not valid for Business Unit BU01. Ledger Group defined for this journal is not valid for the Business Unit BU01".
    My question is: That the Chartfields in Journal Line page link with 2 SetIDs and 2 Business Units causes the above error ? Can any folks help ? Thanks.

    Hi Ritam,
    For such issues, can you please create a new thread or directly email the author rather than dragging back up a very old thread, it is unlikely that the resolution would be the same as the database/application/etc releases would most probably be very different.
    For now I will close this thread as unanswered.

    Hi,
    java.io.FileNotFoundException: /apps/oracle/DEV/inst/apps/DEV_hlt439erplap001/logs/appl/conc/out/o559655.out (No such file or directory)Most probably this file is not created (since no changes have been done recently, so definitely it is not a permission issue), and if there are any log files generate at the client side it should help in investigating the issue.
    Thanks,

  • ORA-00001 Unique constraint Violation Error

    We are upgrading our NW BW 7.01 java server to 7.3 and during the Downtime phase of the Installer, while running the Offline Migration, we are getting an error "EP-KM-BC: Unique Constraint Violation error: ORA-000001".  Unknown Object# (12xxxxxx) does not exist. We have one CI and two DI. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Anil,
    You need to clear the data from the table
    1. SHD_AP_PROPVALUE
    2. SHD_KMC_AP_PROP
    3. SHD_AP_MC
    Repeat the phase and also follow the sapnote
    1873288 - RUN_OFFLINE_MIGRATION phase fails during SAP NetWeaver migration
    Also paste the logs of RUN_OFFLINE_MIGRATION phase.

  • ORA-00001 - Unique Constraint error in Oracle forms 6i

    Hi,
    I am using Forms 6i. I have an issue while inserting records into a custom table.  Below is the functionality.
    When I check the check box,  and press the 'APPROVE' button, the record gets inserted into the custom table. But while inserting I am getting 'ora-00001-unique constraint violated error'.
    But the custom table doesn't have any data in it. (So the inserting record should not be a duplicate record).
    Any suggestions would be of great help.
    Thanks
    Deepti

    Is it a sql statement that is performing the insert, or are you using the native data block DML functionality in your form?  Secondly have you identified candidate columns that could be causing your issue?
    If you are using sql statement have you debugged to comfirm that you are not firing the same block of code more that once, and that if it is required to execute multiple times are you incrementing the sequence values that should be unique.

  • Uniques constraint violation error while executing statspack.snap

    Hi,
    I have configured a job to run the statspack snap at a interval of 20 min from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM . Do perform this task , I have crontab 2 scripts : one to execute the job at 6 PM and another to break the job at 3 AM. My Oracle version is 9.2.0.7 and OS env is AIX 5.3
    My execute scripts look like:
    sqlplus perfstat/perfstat <<EOF
    exec dbms_job.broken(341,FALSE);
    exec dbms_job.run(341);
    The problem is , that the job work fine for weekdays but on weekend get aborted with the error :
    ORA-12012: error on auto execute of job 341
    ORA-00001: unique constraint (PERFSTAT.STATS$SQL_SUMMARY_PK) violated
    ORA-06512: at "PERFSTAT.STATSPACK", line 1361

    ORA-06512: at "PERFSTAT.STATSPACK", line 91
    ORA-06512: at line 1
    After looking on to metalink , I came to know that this is one listed bug 2784796 which was fixed in 10g.
    My question is , why there is no issue on weekdays using the same script. There is no activity on the db on weekend and online backup start quite late at night.
    Thanks
    Anky

    The reasons for hitting this bug are explained in Metalink, "...cursors with same sql text (at least 31 first characters), same hash_value but a different parent cursor...", you can also find the workaround in Note:393300.1.

    Hi All,
    I'm want to dispose fixed asset by using retirement function in Fixed asset module. Anyone know the solution for this error message "21141: Error while posting journal entry :-10 / Internal error". Please help me.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Muhd
    Please could you go in Administartion > Set Up > Fixed assets > GL
    Account Detemination and check the settings of  'Clearing Acc. Asset
    Acquisition' account, which is used when creating Journal Entry for
    'Acquisition without vendor'.
    Could you check if there is a 'Default VAT Code' assigned to this
    account. In this case could you to clear the Default VAT Code assigned
    to this account and try to do 'Acquisition without vendor' again?
    Also,please try to check below option to see if that could help:
    1)Check asset Class Land
    2)Check GL accounts settings
    3)Check the checkbox "Permit Other VAT Group"
