Pr to po converssion

IN a PR there are some 5 items with item category U and release date in future & 5 items with standard item category with release date same as the request date.
The standard item category items have been processes while the stock transfer items are not processed.
Please tell the reason

Hi Sudip
Please check the PO Document type definition in SPRO. For the UB document type of PO, you need to check the Link PR-Document type and see if the entry with NB & item category U exists.

  • A question about ascii converssion

    hi everyone
i wanna write a program to convert any file that has been input into its ascii representation
    so my issues are :-
what are the file types tht can be given as input to this prgm?
how is it possible to verify the output and wht are the classes and methods available in java to do this?

sabre and jschell firstly thanks for replies..
    let me make it clearer
i want to write a progm for converting a file into
    ascii and displaying it
so what are the restricitons to be placed on the user
in givign the input of files
what type of files can my program accept?Ascii.
Because of that I don't see the point of writing a program to translate it (an ascii file) into an ascii file.
Now if you want to present some rules as to what you expect to happen when you deal with another file type then a solution might exist.
For example what do you expect to happen if you get a unicode file which can be entirely represented in ascii (say someone in the US creates it). There is a direct conversion for that.
What do you intend to do if there are some special characters in (say the file was produced in France)? There is no direct conversion for that but something sensible could be created.
What do you intend to do with a unicode file created in Japan?
Note that 'unicode' doesn't mean much either. You need to translate a character set. And there are different unicode character sets.
There are many other characters sets besided those that are called unicode.
And you still haven't defined what you expect to happen for a png file. Do you expect to 'translate' that? Or do you just refuse to do it?
Finally if you are going to be dealing with more than one character set then you need to decide how you are going to determine what character set a file has in it. Obviously someone telling you would be easiest.

  • Pdf converssion

I have a pdf file that I have converted to a microsoft word document.  I want to change the font of the document and cannot figure out how to do this.  Can you help?

Gruekert can you please provide additional details.  Which Adobe software or service is your inquiry in relation too?  Which operating system are you utilizing?

  • PDF and column HTML code

My report table include column with HTML format such as
    <a target="_blank" href="tableA.url">tableA.url</a>
It works fine in dashbaord: I see the URL and when click on it, I got the URL in new window.
When I export to PDF, the resulting PDF display the HTML code and not just the URL.
    Any ideas?

    Hi,
I tried to achieve this before without success. My conclussion was that the pdf converssion engine that OBIEE uses is not able to generate HTML code inside the pdf.
Me too I will like to know if someone achieved this.
Thanks,Unfortunately, your assessment is correct: when printing to pdf, the HTML codes are exposed rather than maintaining the functionality of the coding.

  • Guidelines to reduce downtime during upgradation R/3 to ECC6

    hi all........
Here we implemented SAP R/3 4.6  in the year 2005.
Now we are planning to upgrade our system to ECC6 unicode .
We are planning to upgrade our Production and Development system to SAP
ERP6 EHP4.As part of the upgradation; we had setup a test system with the
    following details:
    Sun Fire 480R (UltraSparc III + 1.05GHz x 4 processor)
Memory 16 GB and Storage : Sun CSM 200 SATA HDD
    SAP R/3 4.71, single code pages 1100, Oracle 9.2.0.8.0, Solaris 9
Test system with 1.2TB data copied from Production System.
We have upgraded the test system using CU&UC method ( Upgrade Guide SAPERP6.0 EHP4 SR1 Abap ). It took 2 days downtime for full upgradation and 8 days for Unicode conversion.
    Requirement :
To Upgrade the current systems without any additional hardware to SAP
    ERP6 EHP4 Unicode.
As a part of the above, the cluster has to be upgraded to Sun cluster
    3.2, and operating system to Solaris10 (5.10)
We are having the following queries:
    1. With only 1.3 TB data, we feel, the down time of 10 days is not
realistic.Though we had not deviated from the above mentioned upgrade
guide, what could be the reasons for this down time of 10 days?what arethe affecting factors? Kindly suggest the ways by which we can get
reduced downtime . The referred Notes are (784118, 855772, 952514,
936441, 954268, 864861 ) still we are unable to pin point the reason. Abreak up of this down time is given below for reference.
    2. Are there any alternate approved upgradation methods to reduce
downtime in our present set up? (details of present set up is given below)
    3. How to calculate the down time with reference to(sapnote:857081) to in
    our setup
    Current Production System Details :
    System : Sun Fire V890
    Processor : 1.5GHz UltraSPARC IV+ processors -- 8no.s
    Memory : 64 GB
    Storage : Sun Storagetek 6180: HDD FCAL(16 no.s x 450 GB)
15,000-rpm 4 Gb/sec 4GB data cache (Storage connected to server using FC
    cable)
    SAP : R/3 4.71 single code pages 1100

    OS : Solaris 9 (5.9)
    Cluster : Sun cluster 3.1
    Network : 1GB ethernet (1000BASE-SX)
Architecture : Application and database server on Same system
SAP Development system specification same as the above with 187 GB data
size. PRD and DEV systems are on cluster; PRD failover to DEV system.
The time taken for test upgrade - brief details:
    1. Kernel upgraded 6.20 to 6.40 (2hours)
    2. Oracle Upgrade to 10.2.0.4.0 (3.30 hours)
    3. SAP UPGRADE Preparation-Apply support packages (18 hours)
    4. Downtime Phase and Pre-Processing and Finalization Phase (20 hours)
    5. Unicode Conversion-Taking DB Export 109GB(Almost 10% of total DB
    size)(98 hours)
    6. Installation of unicode system using export (95 hours)

    Hi .......
i am very sorry for late reply...............................
The time taken for test upgrade - brief details:
    1. Kernel upgraded 6.20 to 6.40 (2hours)
    2. Oracle Upgrade to 10.2.0.4.0 (3.30 hours)

    6. Installation of unicode system using export (95 hours)
2 days downtime means the sum of time used for above 4 activities ..........................
as you suggested we can do the same 4 different down times......................
Unicode Conversion-Taking DB Export 109GB(Almost 10% of total DB size) is taking a continuous down time
of 98 hours (4.5 days ) (Activity 5)+  installation of Unicode system using the Unicode export is taking 95 hours 4.5 days
    (Activity 6)
i think the we have to do activity 5 & 6 in a single stretch with out users, so it will take a continuous down time of 9 Days
With this in mind I have a few questions for you to clear a little bit more all the problem.
Q:1 Did you use more parallel jobs during Downtime than default? and I mean real Downtime where the SAP system is taken down
No.we have used default number (3 ) of parallel jobs during downtime
Did the system allow you to use ICNV (incremental converssion) for some tables?
    yes we may use ICNV
Can you separate the Unicode conversion to a different weekend? or is a must for some business reason?
Yes , we can separate the Unicode conversion to a different weekend , it will not affect our business
Did you save the post download Report so you can see what are the most time consuming phases?
i am not so clear about this question , we have made an activity chart with time duration as per the test upgrade. Or how we can save the post download report from the system
Looking forward to hear from you.

  • Question about the import process in UC&CU upgrade

    Hi,
    We have are doing an UC&CU upgrade ( 4.7 => ERP6 ehp4)
We have export the database (unicode converssion) and we are in the step where it's the import.
I would to kno what i have to do in this SAPinst step :
Database Schema Database objects have been found in the database schema (dv1 in DV1) used for this installation. You must delete these objects, or use another database or SAP SID as entered in the previous dialogs.
and there is check box : Delete existing database objects.
I would like to be sure about this option.
I supose i have to valid this option if someone could confirm this point.

If you do a Unicode conversion (no matter in a UC & CU scenario or as a single project) the target system must be empty - means, you will create a new database and load it with the content you exported.
You can't install the export into your already existing database with the same name.

  • Select with Where not in (subSelect)

    Hi,
Is there any special about that 'not' in this ORacle sql (10g) that it doesn't return me any rows, unlike SQLServer with same code:
select count(*) from t1_ups where  id_ups not in (select b.id_ups from t1_dups b)
    COUNT(*)
    0
    vs.
select count(*) from t1_ups where  id_ups not in ('abc', 'def','xyz')  --select b.id_ups from t1_dups b)
    COUNT(*)
    16
    DDL:
"id_ups"            VARCHAR2(20 BYTE),   is the same for both tables.I see that if remove <not> it works fine. is there any OR --> AND converssion happaned with negation?
My global task is to make UNION "with replacement" when if any records exist in id_dups they will replace ones from id_ups, so I try to do it in separate parts.
    Thanks

You need to use the transaction UCCHECK.
    The report documentation is here
    ABAP Unicode Scan Tool UCCHECK
You can use transaction UCCHECK to examine a Unicode program set for syntax errors without having to set the program attribute "Unicode checks active" for every individual program. From the list of Unicode syntax errors, you can go directly to the affected programs and remove the errors. It is also possible to automatically create transport requests and set the Unicode program attribute for a program set.
Some application-specific checks, which draw your attention to program points that are not Unicode-compatible, are also integrated.
    Selection of Objects:
The program objects can be selected according to object name, object type, author (TADIR), package, and original system. For the Unicode syntax check, only object types for which an independent syntax check can be carried out are appropriate. The following object types are possibilities:
    PROG Report
    CLAS Class
    FUGR Function groups
FUGX Function group (with customer include, customer area)
FUGS Function group (with customer include, SAP area)
    LDBA Logical Database
    CNTX Context
    TYPE Type pool
    INTF Interface
Only Examine Programs with Non-Activated Unicode Flag
By default, the system only displays program objects that have not yet set the Unicode attribute. If you want to use UCCHECK to process program objects that have already set the attribute, you can deactivate this option.
    Only Objects with TADIR Entry
By default, the system only displays program objects with a TADIR entry. If you want to examine programs that don't have a TADIR entry, for example locally generated programs without a package, you can deactivate this option.
    Exclude Packages $*
By default, the system does not display program objects that are in a local, non-transportable package. If you want to examine programs that are in such a package, you can deactivate this option.
    Display Modified SAP Programs Also
By default, SAP programs are not checked in customer systems. If you also want to check SAP programs that were modified in a customer system (see transaction SE95), you can activate this option.
    Maximum Number of Programs:
To avoid timeouts or unexpectedly long waiting times, the maximum number of program objects is preset to 50. If you want to examine more objects, you must increase the maximum number or run a SAMT scan (general program set processing). The latter also has the advantage that the data is stored persistently. Proceed as follows:
    - Call transaction SAMT
    - Create task with program RSUNISCAN_FINAL, subroutine SAMT_SEARCH
For further information refer to documentation for transaction SAMT.
Displaying Points that Cannot Be Analyzed Statically
If you choose this option, you get an overview of the program points, where a static check for Unicode syntax errors is not possible. This can be the case if, for example, parameters or field symbols are not typed or you are accessing a field or structure with variable length/offset. At these points the system only tests at runtime whether the code is sufficient for the stricter Unicode tests. If possible, you should assign types to the variables used, otherwise you must check runtime behavior after the Unicode attribute has been set.
To be able to differentiate between your own and foreign code (for example when using standard includes or generated includes), there is a selection option for the includes to be displayed. By default, the system excludes the standard includes of the view maintenance LSVIM* from the display, because they cause a large number of messages that are not relevant for the Unicode conversion. It is recommended that you also exclude the generated function group-specific includes of the view maintenance (usually L<function group name>F00 and L<function group name>I00) from the display.
Similarly to the process in the extended syntax check, you can hide the warning using the pseudo comment ("#EC *).
    Applikation-Specific Checks
These checks indicate program points that represent a public interface but are not Unicode-compatible. Under Unicode, the corresponding interfaces change according to the referenced documentation and must be adapted appropriately.
    View Maintenance
Parts of the view maintenance generated in older releases are not Unicode-compatible. The relevant parts can be regenerated with a service report.
    UPLOAD/DOWNLOAD
The function modules UPLOAD, DOWNLOAD or WS_UPLOAD and WS_DOWNLOAD are obsolete and cannot run under Unicode. Refer to the documentation for these modules to find out which routines serve as replacements.

  • Execution problem a stored java class

    Hi,
I loaded a java class ("ConvertisseurXMLPDF") in an oracle 8.1.7 database and in a specific schema "SCHEMA1".
I loaded it with the loadjava command included the -synonym and the -grant attributes to create the public synonym on this class and the grant execute to a role "ROLE1".
    Problem :
I connect with a user "USER1" which is associated to the role "ROLE1" (so, he should have the execution privilege on the class) and

  • Create mov files using QT Pro

    Hello
I belive that you know faster way to import 100 movies with avi extenssion.
I'm usin Quick Time Pro to create *.mov files.
Do you know fastest way to do converssion.
I'm using *.mov files to play movies in Front Row later.
    Thanx in advance

Although I don't run the newer iTunes I feel fairly confident in saying it won't play AVI and there aren't any plugins for that.  In fact iTunes won't play multiple other formats such as FLAC (marginal plugin support to supposedly make this possible).  They simply don't have motive for supporting it, and in some cases a specific motive for not supporting it.
I'm not up on the Lion issues. From mumblings on various discussions on ASC I'd say it's a new OS and wait for the dust to settle (that's why I like old, comfortable systems ).
I'd suggest just learning to play avi with another player, even though they don't have the database convenience of iTunes. Also check Songbird. I can't run it on my machine so I haven't done so, but it may have extended features.

  • Can someone help me pronounce aspergers for Siri

I get a bunch of butts and burgers no matter how I try to pronounce it. Siri always thinks its two words, like Ad Burgers. Any suggestions on how to adjust my speech to get Siri to type out "aspergers".

Thanks Stevefan, I have tried the Settings > General > Keyboard > Add New Shortcut, and as much as I wish that would work, it wont.  There are many things I have set up in there, such as ttyl ( Talk to you later) and syl ( See you later ) all of which I use when typing all the time, but will not work with Siri when spoken too.
It also comes in handy for all those words like "ducking" when you meant something else
The problem with Aspergers is that Siri's estimations are always two words spelled correctly, so they are never underlined, as iOS never thinks there is anything wrong with them.  From As* Burgers, Ask Burgers, At Burgers, Azz Burbers ( Perhaps that one, but it's still two works and I could only correct "Azz" to As" making "As Burgers" again. )
    Stumped....
Thanks for all your help though.  One time I said it just right and it worked, and I did it again and it worked, and I figured ok, I have a log of how I did this in my SMS log, but I accidentally deleted the entire converssation.  Working on getting the recipient to send a copy off to me and see if I can phonetically deconstruct what I was up to at the time.
