PR05 Transaction Iview with parameters

Hi,
I have one abap webdynpro appn in which after a button is clicked, it has to go to PR05 transaction with necessary parameters like employee number, trip number.
So i have used the NAVIGATION_ABSOLUTE method in dynpro, and in the business_parameters i have passed the values.
But the iview is opened and still in the same first screen of PR05 with out passing the parameters with the pop up message "Choose a valid trip".
In my case, the business parameter is not working fine, as i can see that it still shows the first screen and also the employee number is the login user employee number and not the one which i gave.
In the iview, i have already given the "Parameters forwarded to Transaction" = PER,TNO.
And also "OK Code Field" = 'MOD', "Process First screen" = Yes.
Any other thing need to be given?

Starting R/3 Transaction iView with dynamic parameters

Hi,
I looked around here for a while searching an answer but couldn't find one. Excuse me if I overlooked something about this rather simple question (I guess).
I have a BW query iView which displays a list of items, lets say order numbers. I would like to click on this number and open a specific R/3 transaction iView with the given order number processed.
I succesfully implement this iView with the property "application parameters" in the form "XYZ=0012345" and it works. But of course, the order number should be dynamically set. I tried to call the iview via the "NavigationTarget=ROLES:/.../iViewID?XYZ=0012345" etc. which starts the transaction, but the parameter is not recognized.

Hideing menu in Transaction iview with GUI for HTML

hi,
I have created a transaction iview with ITS
now the requirement is that user should not see any menu
i have googled and found some abstract information like
~singletransaction.

~generatedynpro = 1
not clear with how and where to do it
please let me know if it is possible to hide the menu from IView it self by passing some parameters

ABAP WebDynpro app calling Transaction iview with Dynamic Parameters..?

Good day!
I need to code a call to a transaction (with dynamic parameters) from an Abap WD application. It appears that to achieve this, the app needs to call a new portal transaction iview, passing the parameters in the call..?
This should ideally be via a Sapgui for Windows, but Html also an option (does it matter with regards to the method used?).
Kindly assist with advise/instructions, idealy with sample code extract to illustrate (new to Abap WD)...

Transaction iView - pass parameters to non-default tab

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to call transaction iView from Webdynpro ABAP application by passing some default values.
I am able to call the iView and also able to pass parameters. My requirement is to pass values to the tab in iView which is not the default tab when I execute the TCode.
Is this possible using absolute navigation...??
If yes please let me know how can that be achieved...

Problem in Transactional iView with SAP GUI Type

Hi,
I've one Transactional iView in which I'm opening one SAP report. This report can be downloaded using option Local File. Once I click on this option, one popup appear where format can be selected and afterward file can be downloaded.
Problem: Once I choose SAP GUI Type in Transactional iView is SAP GUI for HTML then it wouldn't allow me to download file and just hanged, once I click on popup download.
But same is working once I choose SAP GUI Type = SAP GUI for Windows.
Can someone suggest me, what is the problem exactly?

Yeah Michael, you are absolutely right, it seems same problem, I'm getting some applet loading exception.
But, I already have JVM installed version j2se1.6, same as colleague have.

PR05 Transaction Iview from Abap Webdynpro

Hi,
From abap webdynpro, on action of one button, i'm calling PR05(Travel Expense Manager) screen by passing the parameters as follows and calling NAVIGATION_ABSOLUTE method:
BUS_PARAMETER-KEY = 'PTP00-PERNR'.
BUS_PARAMETER-VALUE = LS_EMPLOYEE_NODE-PERNR.
Insert BUS_PARAMETER into table BUS_PARAMETER_LIST.
CLEAR BUS_PARAMETER.
BUS_PARAMETER-KEY = 'PTP1000-REINR'.
BUS_PARAMETER-VALUE = LS_HEADER_NODE-REINR.
Insert BUS_PARAMETER into table BUS_PARAMETER_LIST.
It opens PR05 screen, with the correct employee list, but it does not populate the tripnumber and also it should skip the first screen.
In the IView, i have already given OKCODE='MOD' for change of the trip and also PROCESS_FIRST_SCREEN=YES.
In the business parameter i try to add for selecting the particular line in the table control of the PR05 screen, but that doesn't work.
BUS_PARAMETER-KEY = 'PTP1000-MARKER(01)'.
BUS_PARAMETER-VALUE = 'X'.
Insert BUS_PARAMETER into table BUS_PARAMETER_LIST.

So any inputs on how to auto select the line based on the trip number and go directly to particular change trip.

is there no possibility to open the transaction by calling a link? For example like this way:
host, port, system, mandant, user, password, tcode (e.g.: 192.168.100.2:6000:xi?mand=300&user=xyz&passwd=xxx&tcode=se16).
Do anybody other know if there is a possibility doing like this?

Transaction call with parameters

Hello experts,
I'm trying to call a transaction out of my Web Dynpro ABAP application. An existing Thread (Call Transacion from my WebDynpro.) describes, how this can be done (and it works just fine).
To fully achieve my requirement, I have to pass parameters to the called transaction. The FIRE method of class CL_WDR_SAPGUI_INTEGRATION2, that is used in the afore mentioned thread, has a parameter called PARAMETERS of type WDR_NAME_VALUE_LIST. I tried to fill this parameter with a simple key - value pair, but the called transaction does not respond to the parameter.
Is this approach basically correct?
If yes: What am I doing wrong?
If no: Is there an alternate way, to start an other transaction out of a Web Dynpro ABAP application, except ITS (ITS doesn't fully meet our requirements)?

Actually the solution mentioned in the linked thread is no longer supported by SAP. We arent' going to support any direct SAPGUI/Web Dynpro ABAP integration and classes like CL_WDR_SAPGUI_INTEGRATION2 are being marked as obsolete and will be removed in the future.

Classes and interfaces beginning with CL_WDR_ or IF_WDR_ have not been released. These classes are not contained in the package interface and they can change without prior notice. Furthermore, there may be side effects from calling these internal class methods.
Why not use the ITS? Or better yet portal based navigation APIs. You can build the ITS URL directly. WIth the Portal Based Navgiation APIs, you might be navigating within the NetWeaver Portal to the ITS based iView, but with the NetWeaver Business Client you can use the Portal Navigation APIs to navigate to a SAPGUI for Windows based transaction.

URL IView with parameters having no parameter identifier

I have created a url iview but the first parameter has no Parameter Identifier after the ?. Is there a way to code for this in the URL Parameters section of the iview. Here is par to of the URL:
.../Pages/ReportViewer.aspx?%2fExpress ...
if it said something like
/Pages/ReportViewer.aspx?codelink=%2fExpress
then it would be no issue.
Normally you would put something like codelink and the /Express in the value section. the portal will not let me leave it blank and I have tried using a space. I am trying to access a specific report on the Report Server of MIcrosoft Reporting Services.

The benefit of this is that you can now create a system object that references the MS reporting Services system from the portal, and transport iviews pointing to this along yoru landscape without issue, and additionally you can specify parameters that can be dynamically determined when an iview is created using the template you have defined.
We use this for connecting to our BO systems dynamically as the landscape calls and apliaction in a different environment. Parameters are also defined differently in our templates. It take a little time getting your head around the documentation, but once you have it sorted it is very straight forward. If you find it too daunting you can also search for the download to com.sap.portal.howtos.webapp.par which has portion of this preconfigured for use already.

Calling Transaction SP01 (Display spool requests) with parameters via URL

Hi,
I would like to be able to list all spool requests of a certain title via a URL.
Unfortunately ITS does not seem to work. A URL constructed like this
http://host:port/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/!?sap-system-login-basic_auth=X&sap-client=500&sap-language=EN&transaction=SP01&S_RQTITL-LOW=Testing123&okcode=CRET
causes a short dump that SP01 (Program RSOSP01NR) is a Module Pool.
I am therefore considering the following options:
1. BSP Program
2. Java WebDynpro
3. ABAP WebDynpro
Ideally, I want to be able to enter in my browser something like
http://host:port/<BSP_or_WebDynPro_stuff>&~title=Testing123
and for this to show in the browser a list of all spool requests that are named "Testing123".
Can someone advise whether any of the above options are preferable?
Also, whether such a program should call transaction SP01 with parameters (skipping first screen) or look to using the associated function modules.

i am able to get connected to bakend system with sytem number, portno, sid, host or ip... and can get transcation ivews with that...
ex: i am able to see perticular SAP R3 Transactional iview with these parameters
Then what is the purpose of creating RFC destinations, go.bat configuration, certificate creation and all those things.....

Hi Kumar,
This things are needed when you want to access any service from R3 to Portal or vice versa. Like <b>Adobe Document Service (ADS)...</b>It should be installed in Portal server..and if you want to use ADS for displaying/printing R3 form in pdf format then you need to access ADS from Portal. For this type of case you need only the creation of RFC destination, go.bat configuration for HTTP destination, certificate..etc..

Is it required to add ECC certificate to Portal sytem?
we have created the same user id in both the sytems.

Please follow these steps and lemme know what you observe.
Go to system administration->support->sap application-> under test and configuration tools choose sap transaction
under the mandatory fields choose the system that you have created, choose a tcode (se16) and choose sap gui for windows and click go.
If you are able to logon to your ecc system, your sso works!
P.S Make sure the user name with which you are testing this, exists in the backend as well.

Calling an Transaction iView by URL

Hello All,
I have sucessfully created an transaction iView (which calls some t-code from R/3).
The iView is working fine when I preview it.I have used user mapping for it.
Now I want to call this iView from my website on click of a hyper-link (normal HTML).
So please let me know how do I do this? possible ways for it?
Can i create an URL iView for this iView?
Any Help Appreciated.

thanks for all your replies and knowledge sharing, with the help of it I was able to solve the problem.
here is the solution:
URL is:
http://<server-name>:<port-no>/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.pagebuilder.IviewModeProxy?iview_id=<pcd-id>
this is the URL of an URL iview in portal. The authscheme is set to "anonymous" here.
I have passed the actual URL of an transaction iview to this iview with parameters for user-id and password.
Also fetch mode property is set to as "server side" and Method is "post" (to hide id/password).
