Pre-ordered a video game which hasn't shipped yet and it releases tomorrow.

I pre-ordered bloodborne a few days ago hoping I would receive it on release date which is tomorrow and the game hasn't shipped yet which kinda makes me upset. I could of did store pick up and had the game on release date. I ordered games all the time from you guys and this has never happened. I call customer service tonight to try to change my order to store pick up instead but the guy knew nothing and offered me RZ credit and hung up. So I called back and got another repersentive told her how the guy hung up she couldn't do anything either. I'm just upset you offer pre-orders online and you can't get the game to me on release day which has never happened before. I been elite to elite plus for many years and this is only my second ever priblen with you guys.

It is no secret that everyone wants a new release as soon as possible, which usually means on the day of release. To meet such expectations, we ship releases as soon as we can to be received as close to release day as possible. 
It is discouraging to hear that your copy of Bloodborne may not have shipped the day prior to release, and that it may have caused you not to have it on the day of release. Using the email address you registered with the forum, I see that this game shipped on release day, and was delivered today. I apologize for any frustration that this may have caused you.

    Check in your iTunes folder on your computer to find the files. If they are there, then drag on top of iTunes to import them in. If they are not there, then report the issue to the iTunes Store.

There I found the album & all tracks shown as purchased but with no apparent way of downloading. When I check for items to download, it isn't there. When I check purchased items purchased, it isn't there either. It only appears when I tap the album cover from the front page & then only as purchased.

    Check your Music app to see if it already downloaded. You can also check iTunes on your computer to Check for a available downloads. If you are still not able to get it, then report the issue to iTunes.

    I'm getting a similar problem with my Macbook Pro. itunes match was working fine until two days ago when i created another 'user id' for the laptop and then an itunes account for that user under their profile. Now i cant turn on itunes match on my itunes under my user account. Contacted Apple today who said to use the Express Lane and email the problem and they might be able to make an 'exception' on the account. Otherwise I'll have to wait 88 days to access a lot of my music on the macbook pro. itunes match is still working on the iphone 4S and ipad2.
    Can anyone help? The only thought was too re-stream the laptop. Ive already tried deauthorising the other user but it made no difference.

    I guess the operative word is "estimated". I've had my ship date pushed back due to an order glitch, and from what I've read, the demand for the 4s everywhere is greater than Apple anticipated. So deliveries will be slower, unless you find one at an Apple store (being in the right place at the right time - that happened to my wife, I was slower in ordering mine).

    DELIVERY DATE  will be maintain in the SALES DOCUMENT TYPES in VOV8 in the tab REQUESTED DELIVERY DATE/PRICING DAE/PURCHASE ORDER DATE.
    The field is PROPOSE DELIVERY DATE .
    If you check the field then the document created date will be the Requested date and will be carried from ORDER TO DELIVERY.
    If you want the delivery date other thann the CURRENT date then you have to maintain the LEAD TIME in days in the same tab.
    SHIP DATE: is the date on which you do the PGI in the delivery .
    Please check them and revert back if u need further details

  • Can't pay off pre-order to join Gamer Club Unlocked in weekly ad?

    So I got the Best Buy ad this moring in the paper and saw the "Join Gamers Club Unlocked for $30 when you buy any new game $39.99 or above." Knowing I still had 3 preorders outstanding, I called up the Rewards Zone 866 number and asked them if I would be able to take my preorder in and just pay it in full to satisfy the requirement so I could join. Of course is what I was told and just to take my pre-order receipt into customer service. 
    I head into Best Buy in Castleton, Indiana (#229) and head to customer service as told with the ad and explain I called the RZ 866 number and they told me to bring it to them. After the lady handling the registered called someone, he told me that it would be no problem and he would just have to cancel my preorder and then to just pull the game card and one of the Gamers Club Unlocked cards and the register would take care of it. 
    Then that is when everything went South. 
    I hand the individual the two cards and he proceeds to tell me I could join the GCU for $30 when I buy a game. When I told him I wanted to pay in full for the game he told me I could not do that because "it's two different systems." I explained that I had already spoken to the RZ folks as well as customer service and then he told me "well I should know, I'm the video games guy." I then told him I would just come home and call the RZ folks again, asked for his name and store number which he gave me in a smug tone and I left. As I was walking out the sliding glass doors he said "have a nice day" in a condescending tone. That set me off. I turned and asked the security guy for a manager to complain about the terrible customer service and attitude and the manager was apathetic in helping me. After explaining what I was trying to do, he said he "thought" he could help me. At this point I was overly annoyed so I told him to forget about it and left. 
    If you look at the add, nowhere does it say you can't pay in full for a preorder game to satisfy the requirement. Obviously it can be done because the folks on the 866 number said it would be no problem and I've seen multiple posts on several video game forums of people doing it at their local store. This is probably the third time in the last year I've had issues with associates at this store on advertised deals. So what gives? Lack of training? Employees that just don't care? 
    So now my dilemma is do I go to another location to see if they can help me or do I just cancel all of my preorders and find a new retailer?

    Enuf is spot-on: since in-store pre-order deposits are not considered to be actual purchases, bundle offers such as our current Gamers' Club Unlocked promotion do not apply. If the title you reserved is released and you pick up your copy while the offer is still in effect, then you would be able to take advantage of the bundle savings during the final sale. Otherwise, you will need to purchase another title $39.99+ to be eligible.

  • Pre-Ordered Samsung Galaxy S3 on June 6th, but it hasn't shipped yet. Anyone else experiencing this?

    I pre-ordered my Samsung Galaxy S3 the fist day it was available. I'm seeing a lot of posts of people who already had theirs shipped. Why hasn't mine shipped yet? I pre-ordered the same phone for someone else on my plan on June 22. Do you think they are going to ship both phones together at a later time? Has anyone else pre-ordered on June 6th and not received shipping details yet?

    Yeah, I ordered on 6/7 at 10 am. No Charge, no confirmation yet. Now I know I shouldn't be ahead of anyone who ordered first day, but as people have been stating, there seems to be a lot of people who ordered well past this and are getting their confirmations. I even saw one who ordered 6/14 on another forum who has their tracking number and all. If anyone at Verizon knows what's going on, could you comment? Just wanna know if there's any rhyme or reason to this or if it's the scorched earth method. *Imagines a giant PURGE ALL button at Verizon HQ*

  • Why is a pre-order phone no longer allowed to be shipped to my work address??

    On Friday, April 4, I went into my local Verizon Store (Orlando MetroWest) to pre-order the new Samsung Galaxy S5.  The order was placed and I was given a copy of the receipt which looked very accurate.  The sales rep had read back to me the Bill To and Ship To address in the store, and it was correct, but didn't show up on the receipt given.  When the confirmation e-mail came to me, I noticed that the Ship To info had my company name, and an address, but my name appeared nowhere on it.  I called to question this when the store opened on April 7, and all of the answers were "I don't know.  I'll have to research and get back to you."  When there were no calls returned I checked again and received the same response.  When I left my office for the day, I still had zero answers.
    I drove to the same local store and re-hashed what I'd tried to accomplish during the morning.  I was told there was no way to amend the shipping label once the order was input, despite the fact NO orders for this phone have yet to be fulfilled, since they are still in the warehouse.  I work in a nine story building with every single office working for the same global company.  There is no chance whatsoever that the FedEx delivery would ever make it to me without my name being on the label.  I don't even think FedEx would try.  It was just foolishness at the time the order was originally input (by the Verizon Store).
    During the morning there was mention of possibly cancelling the entire order and starting from scratch, which I was totally OK with, as even that delay would be quicker than someone signing for the box and it sitting God Knows Where for days/weeks.  When I said we should re-visit that option, I was now informed that it is a "Verizon Policy" to avoid fraud and NO pre-order phone could be delivered to any address except the account address of the phone owner.  That was surprising to hear since it had been done (albeit incorrectly) just a couple of days earlier.  The answer to that was, "Oh, she made a mistake in trying a work-around".  Since I was recording our complete interaction (love that feature on my current phone), I asked manager Mike to verify a third time that he could not send a phone to my office address where I am during FedEx hours, and I could not adjust the existing order to come to the store for pickup.  The answers were No and No.
    My last two Verizon phones were shipped to my office, but I do understand that some company policies do change.  I just think this is a doofus change.  I also think it was pretty foolish for the original sales rep to miss putting a person's name on the shipping label.  I have trouble believing that the computer order system would even allow her to make that mistake.  But Verizon is in phone sales exclusively and not in the corporate shipping business.  Perhaps this is some needed training.

    Epilogue:
    My problem has been solved, and I'm now happy to have my pre-order of the new Samsung Galaxy device completed in a way that totally satisfies me.  But I am kicking myself for not going this route in the first place.  I won't make that mistake again in the future FOR SURE.
    After the manager in the local Verizon Store (Orlando MetroWest) said there was nothing he/they could do to overcome the error made earlier by their store sales representative, because it was a pre-order and nothing can be changed/corrected for the initial input.  They had failed to put my name on the shipping label requested for FedEx delivery, meaning that the box containing my phone would probably NEVER reach my hands once if was delivered to a nine-story office building with many many employees.
    I simply went to my local BestBuy store and mentioned I had a very few questions to be answered prior to attempting to place a pre-order of my new Samsung phone.  I asked if the phone could be set for delivery to my office and the answer was a quick YES.  I asked if the phone could be set for pickup at the BB store and, again, the answer was a quick YES.  They were initially surprised to hear that any company would say otherwise. BestBuy requires a photo ID when they take a phone order, and a signature is required when FedEx makes its delivery, so they assured me the Verizon "Fraud Policy" quoted to me was not a standard retail answer AT ALL.  Thirteen minutes after I walked to the mobile phone department, I was walking out with all my confirmation details for a new phone.  The purchase was less out-of-pocket since BB doesn't do that VZW arrangement of paying $50 extra and then getting that back as a mail-in rebate later.  Seems no other carrier except VZW is charging that extra fee for this new device.  On top of that savings, BB gives you a $10 gift card just for doing the pre-order with them.  Bonus!!
    I may (or may not) receive my phone a few days later than those ordering at the Verizon Store, but in my situation I was assured to get mine late due to the shipping label error.  No matter what, I'm going to be pleased with my purchase, and BestBuy just earned additional respect with the way they accurately handled my Verizon purchase.  VZW it still a quality mobile phone provider, but (in my personal opinion) they are extremely weak in the guest service side of the business . . . which almost negates those other positive things.

If I was to pre order it at the apple store would I have to go through AT&T to buy the phone or could I just buy the phone? Would that change the price too? I plan on getting the 16GB.

    You don't preorder in the Apple Store. You preorder on-line. It will be mailed to your home address. Apple has not yet announced an unlocked iPhone 5 in the U.S. so yes, you would need to select a carrier.

  • Pre-Order Book stuck in downloading, book not in yet

    I agreed to purchased a book on a pre-order basis.  Now when I go into my libray it is hung up trying to download this book that is not yet available.  I have tried fully shutting down the ipad, but no luck.  Also tried to buy a new book that is available, but that is not downloading and library is still hung up on the pre order book not yet available.
    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks for the reply.  However, the knowbase article referred to in iTunes Store: How to delete a downloading purchase on iOS  seems to refer to an earlier version of the iTunes app than I have with iOS 8.0.2.  My iTunes app has neither a More button in bottom nav bar, nor any options to display a Downloads list.
    iBooks does display The Innovators book in its Books list, with a downloading icon (circle with pause button inside) showing status of this book.  The progress indicator in this icon (solid line progressing around the circle) is stuck at the very beginning of the download operation, and hangs there forever.  I cannot use the Select button to select this book (to move or delete it); the Select button displays a radio button in front of each item, allowing a group of books to be selected for a Move or Delete operation.  But The Innovators book's radio button cannot be toggled (presumably because the book is still downloading).
    As I indicated in my original message, I can use iTunes on Mac to remove the book from the iPad as part of its Sync/Backup operations.  While this removal appears to work, the book reappears in the Books list on the iPad shortly after the Sync operation completes.  Again, I presume this is because the book still exists in the download list on the iPad.
    Any other thoughts on how to proceed?

  • Is there any way to add AppleCare to an iPhone after the order when the phone has not been shipped yet

    Simple question. I purchased an iPhone 5, and added AppleCare to the cart. After processing the order, I found that AppleCare had been dropped from the cart. The phone obviously hasnt shipped yet. I have tried calling, but am unable to reach anyone. Is there anyway to purchase AppleCare after main purchase without going to an apple store. The closest one for me is 2+ hours away.

    My iPhone 5 Ordering Situation:
    Successfully submitted pre-order at 2:05am CST
    Realized I did not add AppleCare+
    Tried to add it as a separate product
    Unable to add AppleCare+ after submiting pre-order
    This Morning:
    I just got off the phone with an Apple representative.  He assured me that, once my iPhone 5 arrives on September 21, I will be able to: 1) call Apple and have AppleCare+ added to my iPhone 5;  2) go into an Apple Retail Store and have AppleCare+ added to my iPhone 5.  He said I would have thirty days from my device's ship date (September 21) to add AppleCare+ to it.  He also recommended that, if I wanted to have AppleCare+ added at an Apple Retail Store, I should make an appointment as soon as possible.  Because I was still concerned something might go wrong, the Apple representative emailed me a copy of my case number to use as a reference in case I have any issues obtaining AppleCare+ on September 21.
    Caveats & More Information:
    I ordered through the Apple Store app on my iPhone 4
    I live in the United States
    My carrier is AT&T
    I have a case number and repeated assurances from an Apple representative
    While your situation may differ from mine I do hope you're able to add AppleCare+ to your iPhone 5 once it arrives, either by calling 1-800-MY-APPLE or by making an appointment at your nearest Apple Retail Store.
