Hi,
You can try using the report RSCMSPLD. This report is not application dependent.

  • If I'm licensed for Univeral Records Management including...

Univeral Content Management, Content Server, Records Management adapters (& more), do I still have to purchase a license for Secure Enterprise Search to make Records management work with the FileSystem adapter (that I'm licensed for?). I guess another way to ask the question is: SES is required for the Records Management FileSystem adapter, but does that mean I have to pay extra for it or is it included in the "bundle" I've already purchased?

After searching (forever) on the Oracle site, I found the answer to my question:
Oracle Universal Records Management Adapter for File Systems requires Oracle Secure Enterprise Search (SES). The SES license is not included with this adapter and needs to be purchased separately.

  • TREX on Portal-Server also used for search/index for SAP Records Management

    Hi all,
can a installation of the TREX on the Portal-Server (or as separate Server) used for Portal Index/search and also in parallel for searching of Content in an SAP Records Management (means full text research of records/ dossier in the SAP RM) ? Some ideas, tips or settings to keep in mind ?

    Hi Neil,
We have exactly the same problem. We installed a new SAP E-Commerce system on Microsoft Windws 2008 R2 with TREX Version 7.10.43.00. The TREX connection is okay. Also the catalogue replication works without any problems. The SAP support means it is a permission problem on the IIS. The problem isnu2019t solved yet and the message to the SAP support is in process.
What is your effect with this link?
    http://localhost:<TREXNAMESERVER>/TREXHttpServer/
    Default:
    http://localhost:<30305>/TREXHttpServer/
    Kind regards,
    Roland

  • Filling of the cache server

i would want to know the main system parameters involved in the management of the cache server. Indeed our cacher server fills up until it's full and then some entries are deleted after some delay; i don't know which parameters manage these events.
    Eric.

Caching server is backed by an sqlite database.  If you want to see what you currently have downloaded, you can glean some information by accessing the database.  Use this command to connect to the database:
    sudo sqlite3 /Library/Server/Caching/Data/AssetInfo.db
Once connected, you can use .tables to see the tables in the database but the one with the most information appears to be ZASSET.  Use:
       select * from ZASSET;
To list the current contents.  You will get a series of records similar to the following:
    26|1|5|0|868991341|402440412.42114|402507221.969799|ffaf18a45cd5dd5e853233629036 5767|30B9108D-ABE4-4061-A2E0-42E91301249B|Fri, 06 Sep 2013 18:21:34 GMT|/content/downloads/14/11/091-9722/ognnjd4fno85m4pbapjtnv23b7rf1mkufx/OSXUpd Combo10.8.5.pkg|
Note that the final value is a human recognizable name of the package.  However, you may also see items like this:
    125|1|4|0|11622676|406739736.508118|406739736.508125|4f1f9b08b32f9f6211e4569604b 1efef|481BF3D9-99BB-415F-ADB6-860EDD24B08E|Thu, 14 Nov 2013 10:24:30 GMT|/us/r1000/032/Purple6/v4/37/a3/d2/37a3d2f7-2594-8224-7eda-712f17a3fd8b/mzps 6227198657217312566.D2.pd.ipa|
This is an iOS application.  There is no real way that I know of yet to match the package name (mzps6227198657217312566.D2.pd.ipa) to a product name.
    When finished, type .quit

  • How to apply Qos in the precedence of cache server

m in an isp  and iwant to apply the QOS to enhance my network internet performance
actually i  have two requests , i will start with showing brief topology about my network and start asking the questions .
here is the topology below :
from the topology above , my access is only on R1 which is BGP internet gateway router and R2 is my ISP router.
1- i want to apply Qos on R1 so that a subnet of 32 ips to have gurantee bandwidth of 30M .
assume  the subnet  is 10.20.30.0/27  that need to be bw gurantee .
2- i want the download traffic by idman or ftp on my Router R1 dont exceed 50 % of my total bw .
i mean that i have 450M bandwith from my isp , & sometimes we have a  slow in browsing , so i want to enhance the browsing quality because  its more important that downloading files from internet.
here is my two requests above , i dont know how it will work with the precedence of the cache server .
anyway , i will paste my config of router and i will replace my puplic ips with xxx for privacy .

    Hi Vinay,
Please check the program. I have used the replace statement but it is not working.

        wa_bom_file-status = c_status.
        APPEND wa_bom_file  TO i_bom_file.
    But it is not working.

    Kannan,
the error in your logs like "NoClassDefFoundError" etc. point us towards issues with jar files. either they are missing or not the correct ones.
A general practice in such situation is to
stop all servers except CMS,IFRS,OFRS > repair the base installation
    OR
If you have a working environment with the exact same patch, copy the 'lib' folder from "/bobje/sap_bobj/enterprise_xi40/java/" to the non-working server.
PS: please attach the logs to the thread instead of pasting the content.

I'm not expert in this area, but I don't understand why you try to read directly the cache as by definition, a cache is managed by the application itself. Why don't you read the document as usually, and let the system read the cache by itself?

  • Cache server getcert http request issue

    Hi,
We are using third party repository for documents archiving and storage. And we have separate application for connecting third party repository to the SAP.
We have installed content server and cache server on the system where SAP was installed.
Now we want to run getcert HTTP request from our application so that we will get the certificate from SAP cache server. What we need to do in order to achieve the same? Or in other words how we can make the connectivity between cache server and the third party repository?
We have verified the following URLs
    http://10.224.1.37:1090/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo
    http://10.224.1.37:1095/Cache/CSProxyCache.dll?serverInfo
(Where 10.224.1.37 is the IP address of the system where SAP is installed)
for content server and cache server respectively.
The URL for cache server was giving the correct server information but URL for content server is not at all showing any server information even after running for long time.
Could you please tell me step by step by procedure and configuration steps for running get cert request to cache server? We want to know how to send the getcert request to third party content management system from cache server.
We have given the following URL in http get functional module but we are getting a 400 bad request response
    http://10.224.1.37:1095/Cache/CSProxyCache.dll?getcert&pversion=0046&conrep=RH
Where RH is pointing to the third party content server (through transaction oac0).
    Thanks,
    Ravi

    Hi All,
I am also facing the same problem, Please help us out to solve this issue.
    Thanks in advance

  • Digital signature in SAP Records Management (SAP Netweaver Folders Manager)

    Hi experts,
I have a record with various documents and I want to implement digital signature in documents (Transaction: ORGANIZER). I read in IPS640 SAP Manual that there are a button (key symbol) to do this but I don't have this button. Can you explain me how to implement this?
A lot of thanks in advance.
    Regards,

    Hi JV,
You need to define the repository in OAC0 transaction. As per my analysis now your document are stored in sap database.
If you are using separate serever then confuigure as follows in OAC0:
Document area : SAP Records Management
    Storgae type : RFC Archive
define IP address and port. Then goto CSADMIN and activate the certificate for the same.
or if using SAP Database then make the changes in above areas.
Then these archived documents will get saved in content server instead of sap database.
    Hope this will help.

  • Archiving documents in SAP Records Management

    Hello experts,
Does anybody know how to archive documents in SAP Records Management? By default, they are stored somewhere in SAP database. However, based on the SAP documentation, they can be stored also to archive by using ArchiveLink. Where is this configuration done and how? Or do we need some coding here?
I'm interested in two different solutions:
    1) Document will be stored on an archive server right from the start. By doing this, I no longer need to move the document content myself.
    2) Moving existing Records Management documents to archive. I know there is a program SRM_KPRO_CONTENT_RELOCATION for this purpose, but it doesn't seem to be working without some archiving/RM configuration before somewhere else.
We are using Records Management as part of Digital Personnel Files and the documents to be archived are completed Adobe forms.
    Best Regards,
    JV

  • Records Management crashes Site Studio

I have not been able to run either RM Corporate or Universal RM on the content server and have Site Studio log in. As soon as either component is loaded it fails to load the fragments with a GET_FILE error complaining about the dID and retention schedule.
I really need to get records manager up and running as well as Site Studio. Is there a workaround or a mechanism to shut off the retention for just the Site Studio? Or is there some undocumented configuration changes that need to be made to the Site Studio - I have looked at the queries and pages and there is nothing obvious?

Well your issue if very curious to me. I wondered if in your pages anywhere you coded any kind of redirect? I wouldn't see how it would just direct out to some page on the internet by chance, so I wondered if you had programmed in a redirect, or if in the properties of a node for site studio you set an external url. For nodes in the hierarchy you can now put an external url, which could cause this kind of hting to happen.

  • Records Management: Content Model format in the Records Browser

I am new to Records Management.  I have added attributes to a Content Model and I want to modify how it is displayed in the Records Browser of Records Management.  How do I do this?

    Hi,
    Try this.
SPRO--> SAP NetWeaver --> Application Server --> Basis Services --> Records Management --> Customizing for Attributes (Property Unification) --> Create / Change Attributes Descriptions.
Here you selec your Attribute Model ID and do changes.  Please reply this if your problem is solved by this.  Thanks.

  • How to detect whether a database was created by Restoring (from SQL Server Enterprise Manager) or by Attaching (from SQL Server Enterprise Manager)

Ours is a SQL Server Express Edition 2008-R2 - Windows Forms based application. We have a backup/restore utility provided with our software which performs some logical checks before restoring a backup to ensure that the backup is functionally valid.
However, our clients often use the SQL Server Enterprise Manager utility to 1) Restore backups or 2) Attach data files (kept aside before formatting) directly. This type of action bypasses all our functional checks and allows the user to restore an invalid
    backup.
We want to detect that a database was restored/attached and may be we will stop the software from loading if such a thing happened. We think that this information (attach/restore) should be available within some table of SQL Server itself but don't know the
    right location/query.
If any change is required in our software to achieve the above, we are ready to do the same too, e.g. may be we need to store some data at some point of time to make the detection happen, please advise.
So, how can we detect that
A database backup was restored using SQL Server Management Utility
(Note: MSDB.Restorehistory may not be a good option as we have often found this table blank for unknown reasons even after backup was restored and just in case user restores the MSDB from MSDB backup or MSDB template due to a data corruption, may be due to
abnormal shutdown of system, then the RestoreHistory table data is gone)
A database was created by attaching a data/log file using SQL Server Management Utility
Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

    Hi,
For Enterprise edition, we can enable Auditing to audit BACKUP_RESTORE_GROUP in a server audit specification. However, SQL Server audit (fine-grained auditing) feature is not available for the SQL Server Express.
Features Supported by the Editions of SQL Server 2008 R2
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc645993(v=sql.105).aspx
When a database is attached, SQL Server ERRORLOG will record “Starting up database 'DBNAME'.”
Using ALTER DATABASE OFFLINE and ONLINE will re-open the database files under the SQL Server, the SQL Server error log also contains the following informational message: “Setting database option ONLINE to ON for database 'DBNAME'.”

  • How can i see the content of the cache server 2 ?

How can i see the content of the cache server 2 ?

Caching server is backed by an sqlite database.  If you want to see what you currently have downloaded, you can glean some information by accessing the database.  Use this command to connect to the database:
    sudo sqlite3 /Library/Server/Caching/Data/AssetInfo.db
Once connected, you can use .tables to see the tables in the database but the one with the most information appears to be ZASSET.  Use:
       select * from ZASSET;

  • Content Server records

    Hi guys,
I have an ECC system (SAP ERP 6.0 EHP6) whereby among many functionalities, Record Management System (RMS) is used. Various RMS attachments like jpeg, pdf and doc are stored in Content Server. Normally, we access these attachments thru docid. The attachments are saved in the MaxDB (version 7.6) database of the Content Server. I wish to know a few things regarding MaxDB content:
How are the attachments kept in the MaxDB database? Can I view them in the database (like in Oracle we have BLOB fields)? I'm using Database Studio and SQL Studio for MaxDB. For example, in SQL Studio I can see 'schemas' DOMAIN, SUPERDBA and SYSINFO, each containing several tables. Which one contain the relevant tables? I suppose the docid is being kept in some table as well.
    regards.

    Hi Suraj,
Refer to the information from thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/3352909
You may perform SQL queries on tables starting with COMPONENTS*.
    Hope this helps
